'Survivor 14: Fiji' - Ep. 8 -or- "You're all losers! Why are you sending me home?"

Oh, there were some cool happenings in tonight's episode!

Let's see... last week we got rid of Rocky, someone who annoyed me to no end. The only other ones on the show who really irk me are Lisi and Dreamz. Will my own dreamz come true tonight?

Eleven are left. Who will be voted out tonight?

The show opened at the Ravu Camp on Day 20. As Dreamz and Lisi slept in the daytime sun, Edgardo, Alex, and Mookie were following the Exile Island hidden Immunity Idol clues that Lisi had given Edgardo and Alex. They were digging quietly, but Mookie could barely stifle his whoop when he found the matching turtle to the one Yau-Man found at the Moto Camp.
Mookie, Edgardo and Alex Find Idol
With lots of shushing, the three tribe-mates checked out the Idol nearby the camp. They decided they wouldn't tell Lisi they found it as Edgardo thought she was "unstable." Similar to the Earl/Yau-Man agreement, they decide that it will be used if any one of the three needs it.

But, in confessional, Mookie tells us he found it and it's in his pocket. He may not be as willing to share as his buddies think he is. He knows that coming from the original Ravu, he's outnumbered. Actually, I think he's wise to think he has first rights to its use.

Mookie returned to the area where he found the Idol and was trying to hide the evidence of digging. Lisi awakened and asked him if he was digging for the Idol and he admitted he was. "You have to wake up pretty early to fool an old cat like me," Lisi told us. Mookie offered to help her dig around for the Idol. Oh, I'd call that fooled, wouldn't you?

When tree mail (wicker basket mail) was checked at the Moto Camp, it told them they were to be coached on a traditional Fijian dance. One member would have to sit out. Yau-Man said he has no rhythm and I believe him, so he sat out.
Earl Dances
At the Reward Challenge, both tribes were dressed in native garb, make-up and all. I guess maybe it's more war paint than make-up. The tribes had to dance the dance taught to them being judged by three Fijians on three separate criteria -- appearance, authenticity, and spirit.

Lisi seemed to take the whole thing as a joke when her tribe practiced, but it looked like Moto was really pulling together and getting in the spirit of things. And, that effort showed in the performance.

I'm no Fijian war dance judge and I could see a clear difference between the performances. Earl was magnificent and all of Moto danced in unison as if they had been doing the dance for years. Meanwhile, Ravu was out of step and just didn't have the It Factor. (Oh, wait... wrong show.) The judges thought both tribes did well in appearance and spirit, but Moto was a clear winner for authenticity.

Moto won a Fijian feast with chicken, pork, and fish as well as the company of locals. They sang, danced and had a good time all around. Poor Lisi (heh) was chosen by Moto to go to Exile Island once again. She moped, fussed, whined, and cried. Oh, no... she wants to quit again!

Day 21 brought about an early morning meeting with Earl and Michelle. They're close and Earl tends to think of her as his spy. Michelle has her own agenda, though. She wants to push for Stacy to leave as she thinks that she and Stacy are pretty much carbon copies of each other. She feels she would be stronger on her own. Earl was thinking Boo would be more of a problem than Stacy, but Michelle convinced him otherwise.
Mookie Uses Blowdart
I liked the Immunity Challenge... perhaps because Yau-Man strutted his stuff. The challenge was in three rounds -- a blow dart, then spear, then bow and arrow. Each tribe member went in turn trying to make the closest mark to the bulls-eye on their target.

The first round was worth one point for the winner, the second two points, and the third three points. If there was a tie, there would be a sudden-death round.

Now, here's where Yau-Man proved his worth. While Edgardo had told us in
Dreamz Aims for the Targetconfessional that he was proficient at archery, Yau-Man just studied the the scene. He found the straightest arrow. He thought of the trajectory of the arrow and placed himself accordingly. He was the only one who thought to get a running start for more power for the spear-throw. He's the Man!

Once again, Moto wins Immunity! Before the tribes split up, I hated when Moto won all the time. But now that my two favorite players are on the tribe (Yau-Man and Earl), winning is a good thing. Gee, too bad there's no Rocky to have a fit about the loss.

Wait! There's Lisi to have a fit. She told us in a confessional that her tribe-mates are all losers. She told them she wanted to quit. She told them they were losers. She's surrounded by losers, y'know. Well, guess what? I think she's the losiest loser on the tribe. Yeah, I know that losiest isn't a word, but I'm coining it just for Lisi.

Dreamz thinks all is perfect as Lisi asked to be voted off. But then Lisi changed her mind once again while talking to Alex. I can't believe how this woman flip-flops. She thought she could get Alex and Edgardo to vote out Dreamz, but she was too fickle too much. As Edgardo said, she's unstable.

Bye-Bye LisiAt Tribal Council, they all voted for her to go. They had enough. Dreamz had one vote for him to leave, coming from Lisi. You just can't cry wolf, let them know you're weak, Lisi. And, Lisi... you're a loser. Your tribe-mates have the Idol you should have found because you blabbed the clues. It's your own darn fault you got the boot. And you have the nerve to be bitter about them?

There. Now I feel better. Sweet Dreamz, Lisi.

Ding-Dong, the Witch m is dead. The wicked witch, the wicked witch. What a truly nasty LOSER she is! I'd love to be a fly on the wall at the little hide-a-way where she and old socially skilled Rocky are holed up. She totally freaked out after she lost her cushy, well-supplied little Moto camp, didn't she? And she probably hated Exile Island so much cause the only company she had was hwrself. Dreamz will be next.

Loved it, loved it!!! The old man, made all those young ones, look like idiots! It was great! I was so ready for Loser Lisi to go. It was great! When Lisi said that they would have to get up early to get the idol, I just rolled! They didn't have to get up early, they just had to stay awake and not sleep the day away. I think it is so funny that three men share an idol and none of them have ever been to Exile island. Earl may be making a big assumption however. When he finds out that Lisi is gone, and they merge at Exile Isle, he may think that the only idol found is the one he shares with Yew-Man. Not knowing that Loser Lisi had a lose mouth. Intersting times ahead, aren't there? Can't wait. Gen

yeee-ha! I was SO rooting to get Lisi gone... I could not listen to her crap a minute longer. I actually found myself giving her image on the TV the finger THREE times tonight... you don't know me but THAT'S new behavior LOL!

So while I'm so sorry both she and Rocky will be on the jury, At least they will not be heard from til the very end show, in which case their personalities may legitimately serve the show in the one place that's appropriate -- final vote speeches. Maybe they'll come up with some classic stuff, and if they behave themselves, it will surprise us even more -- either way, a win/win for us all.

My first thought as her torch was snuffed out was picturing Lisi and Rocky having to spend the next few days in paradise together! I could not imagine a more punishing companion for each! Talk about Exile.... mwahaha

I feel sorry for the next person voted off. They will have to be with both of them. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes. Sorry, don't exactly mean to be this harsh, but I'm SO glad. It's gonna get really good now.

Love Yau-Man, he's my #1 at this point, with Eduardo a second.

Yippee skippee!! She is GONE!

I just could not be happier, and I am really excited to see at least one of the immunity idols MAY be played this year. It could really change up the game and keep things fresh! We are beginning to have a SHOW!! :)

Rooting for Wow Man or Earl to win the whole thing!!

P..S..Y..C..H..O....
what does it spell....LISI!! It was like watching Linda Blair and her evil personalities right before our eyes!I,too, was, yelling at the TV....go home, crazy lady!!

If I was MOOKIE,I sure would figure that possession was 9/10 the law and hold tight to that II. Dumb old LISI couldn't be bothered to even look, course she had her "peeps" to watch her back...yeah baby!

But YAU seems to be able to take care of himself, and may end up winning immunity for himself next week when they merge. He is one crafty and smart man and showed all the "HE" men up.I also loved when LISI was berating all of them for being losers and then remembering her being so pathetic at both challenges. I was laughing my butt off watching her during the dance....she was always on the opposite beat of all the others, like the nerdy guy at the dance who has no rhythm. Have fun ROCK and LISI...maybe DREAMZ will join you next!!!!

All those jocks and Yau Man is the only one who can excell at the challenges. Why? Because he is smart. A MIT graduate he compensates for small physical stature with intellect. Did you notice how he balanced each piece of equipment they were to use...weighing it in his hands, thinking about trajectory and angle and then using a running start and also a lower position to make sure he hit his target. Mr. Archery didn't even hit the target much less the bulls eye. Another all mouth jock. Those guys are being showed up by a small Asian man. I LOVE him. And as for Earl...he was hot hot hot during tht Fiji dance. What a stare. The judges loved him. Maybe he should be approached for Dancing with the Stars next year. That man can move...I loved his laughing about the "white boy" moves...he's spot on. I would be hard pressed to choose between Yau Man or Earl to win the money...they are both great players.

Gee whiz bye bye bye Lisi. TY Jackie...I thought I heard "Ed" say he was proficient at archery, but when he drew the string back and was shaking, etc. I thought I misheard!!! GO Yau...A small gem hidden among giants!!! Who knew?

Sydney u baaaaad girl. IMAO

Not sure, but from the promo they are all on Exile Island, I wonder? I am probably way off, but on Travel Channel on a tribal show, they kind of bungee with vines from a wooden platform/tower. As all showed their surprise, the cameras panned to the tower like structure and some had horror on their faces. "Could it be"???? We will see!

Just watched LISI the Loser on The Early Show and she was her usual umcharming self just like on the island!Once again she called all the men losers and said that she was just ready to leave, that she had had enough or wait...maybe not!

She had on this outfit I can only describe as "clown clothes",big circle print TIGHT pants with knee high "sparkly" grey boots and a print blouse that clashed with everything else she had on.I guess that showed her creativity and uniqueness....yeah,right!I'm just glad she is off the main show so we don't have to listen to her anymore.

One can only hope that during their "private" time in sequester...Rocky and Lisi will eat each other! BLEH!

the ultimate revenge would be for Lisi and Rocky to get stuck with C/M from the AR. That would be wonderful. A show in of itself.

Who da Man? Yau da Man! (Like the rest of you weren't thinking it.)

I knew Lisi was doomed on her first trip to Earl's Island (aka Exile) where she glanced at the clues to the Immunity Idol and said "Whatever." Not only was she a witch but she was a clueless witch and it kills me that she got Liliana tossed. But she was right about Dreamz - get a real name.

I can't wait for Boo to make another confessional comment about Yau Man getting voted off soon. I mean how hard was it to come up with the idea of throwing a spear like a javelin? I guess it was pretty hard since not one of the others had the idea until Yau did it.

I'm with all of you!!! Yau is the man! There are a few that I like but he's the best. I would give anything to see one of the others find the idol Yau planted and then try to use it at tribal council. That would be priceless!

Excellent episode...looking forward to the reasons why they were all agog when they arrived at Exile Island.

The two greatest survivors of all time, with the two best moves...Rupert and his stealing the other tribes stuff to trade and YauMan replacing the II with a fake.
My hope is YauMan can do better than Rupert in the end, I'm still dismayed Rupert didn't win his season. Yes, I know he finally got his million.

YauMan is so much smarter than all those big He-Men, if brains were braun he would be 10 feet tall!

I bet the Ravu tribe is very sorry it voted off Anthony before Rocky. Anthony would be much better on the jury...just my opinion mind you.

I now believe in global warming...every time Rocky or Lisi open their mouths, all that hot air escapes! I can't wait to see some tape on how well they are getting along in the jury house. Should provide some great TV!

Anonymous 4/06 3:01pm, what a warped sense of humor! I love the idea of putting C/M in the jury house with Lisi and Rocky! Too funny.

Jackie you rock!!!!

Steff -- There is no "jury house" footage in Survivor, you're thinking of Big Brother :)

I think Lisi & Rocky are gonna hook up in jury paradise and we're gonna have another Rob & Amber saga. He'll propose at the finale, then we'll see their wedding and they'll do a reality show of their lives together. Then in a few years, we'll see them on TLC's Baby Story. Won't it be so sweet :)

Orkmommy, PULEEZE! Don't give anyone any ideas.

Or nightmares.

Forgot to add I'm also rooting for Earl. Loved him in the dance... such a serious face. I totally agree with you Nancy in Washington!

And for the reward challenge Lisi was -- "what's with these peole making the effort for...food?" Well, she hadn't had to starve for days and weeks on CUSH island, but how can she be so clueless to the hunger factor for others... did she apply without ever having watched this SHOW? Clearly she left her meds on the mainland.

Sharon -- I applaud your courage in facing Lisi once again on the Early show and what's more, being kind enough to give us that fabulous description of her OUTfit!

Anon 3:01 -- YES, seeing Charla and Mirna with Rocky and Lisi! That is beyond. Orkmommy, I was thinking the same thing...

Liliana was an ex-marine and a real competitor who would't have copped out like Lisi, yet the nature of the show is that Lisi was able to get the team to vote out a strong player. Too bad. Liliana would have been more more interesting to watch and it would have changed the dynamics a lot. If she had been the only girl on Ravu they probably would have won a competition. I bet she would have worked harder at things like the dancing for food competition too. Glad to see Lisi go; sorry she and Rocky made the jury.

Clearly Lisi is more familiar with Fantasy Island than Exhile Island or as Sharon called it, Cush Island.

Yes...Cush Island...Lisi was all "mouth" when she was living in the lap of luxury but couldn't cut it when she really had to survive. Glad she is gone. I'll bet Liliana was laughing herself silly when she saw the former big mouth whinning and complaining.
