'Grey's Anatomy' - Fall 2007 - Blog Meet-Up Discussion Post
Are you a fan of Grey's Anatomy? Do you want to talk about the show or its characters with blog friends?
Well, here's the spot!
The show's official website is located at ABC.com Grey's Anatomy and your show talk can certainly be located right here.
Well said, you captured just what I didn't like about the Callie/Hahn relationship - it felt and seemed "forced." I kept thinking that Grey's was trying to make a statement of inclusion and acceptance of Gays. Since George is Gay in real life they chose to exploit an "obviously straight" couple by letting them explore the sexual side of being Gay, probably hoping for a boost in ratings.
Thanks Gayle... I had no idea they had done that. Wonder what the real reason is. It must be difficult for Smith who just moved her family to be closer to filming.
I'm anxious to see how Yang and the Army doc works out.
Grey's definitely had a reason for backing off on the Callie/Hahn relationship. McDreamy was on a talk show? (my brains are so scrambled now I don't remember which one) and was very evasive when questioned about the relationship. It looked as if he had been warned not to really discuss it.
Christine and the Army doctor look like they will be a volatile relationship to me. He's pushy and she's not always docile. They will be a welcome storyline after the Callie/Hahn fiasco!
Hey Gayle, Have you missed me. I have had no time to post and have missed a few episodes but have enjoyed what I have watched. I would not be sad to see Hahn go. Her and Callie are so done. McArmy and Yang could get exciting. Now McDreamy wants McSteamy to put the moves on Yang. Now that is hilarious. that can't possibly fly.
I have also tried to keep up with Private Practice. I like the new story line with Kate Walsh taking over the practice. I'm just not sure how they are going to keep that show exciting.
Yes, I've missed you! Where have you been hiding!?! Although, I have a lot of nerve talking because I haven't been doing much posting myself! Too busy and too tired - falling asleep on the TV and lacking the stamina and get up and go to watch what I miss online! LOL! One of my VCR's is dying so I usually tape my back-to-back CBS programs.
I talked on the phone last night and missed Private Practice. I do intend to watch it and probably this episode of Grey's online to get a better insight on what I've missed.
Yes, I heard McSteamy ask McDreamy to bed Christine! McSteamy's not intersted.
I'll also try to post more even if I have to post a few days later. Hope to talk with soon!
We now have 2 pages for Grey's. I'm going to ask Jackie if she will make us another discussion post also.
Loved the McSteamy/Yang stuff last night, too funny. She is way to intense for him. McArmy is much more her type - he has many issues, LOL. So I guess the way they get rid of Hahn will be because of the Izzy and the heart thing. No big loss there. I'd rather see more of McSteamy and Callie together anyway. The stuff with the robotic cadaver (sp?) was pretty funny. While it was kind of sad to see how the interns and residents were treating those poor dead people, I would bet that was a pretty realistic portrayal.
They must have been planning on getting rid of Hahn for a few episodes at least the way they wrote her last couple of episodes. Can you imagine standing in your Chief's office and screaming at him the way she was doing. She'd been out the door then if I were the Chief.
Then to insult Callie, her only friend. I didn't like her character long before they decided to make her a lesbian.
I was agast at how they were treating the unclaimed bodies. I worked in a hospital. I just don't think that would ever have happened.
And Alexis is right, they won't let her do anything, so how is she supposed to learn.
And McArmy is right too...they really don't have any respect for anything or anybody. They need to start growing up.
Still like the show tho and will continue to watch!

McDreamy was on the Ellen Show Wednesday. I just saw a clip on TVGuide.com from "E Online."

Oops! Yes, I heard "McDreamy" ask "McSteamy" to bed Christine! McSteamy's not intersted. I think McArmy will be the one to bed her.
