It was a very brief, but very welcome sighting of Roofus the Cat yesterday. The photo quality is a bit off as I no sooner saw him and he was on the move. But Roofus the Cat is alive and well, getting some sun on the rooftop once again. I'll have a BB9 live feeds report for you soon!

Thank you, Jackie, for the Roofus update. I am so happy that you spotted him!!! That makes my day!!! Think most of us are glad to finally see the sun, may it stay around awhile. I saw 4 robins on Tuesday, that is a great sighting!!!
Projected temp on Mon is 58, can I say jump for joy!
Yay, Roofus is alive and well. Thanks for the pics Jackie!
Thanks from me, too. It is a concern when he isn't seen for a few days. He has a loyal fan base! We have a mystery cat who sleeps on a cushion in a chair on our front porch. I know because I neaten the seat cushion most mornings by pulling the fabric tight and sweeping off any strange cat hairs. Then by the next morning I'll find a circular spot where something has curled up to keep warm. I have never seen whatever it is, but am hoping it is a friendly cat who appreciates our hospitality. YAY! Roofus is out getting some sun and exercise. Thanks, Jackie, for keeping an eye out for us and yourself. He's really going to love the warmth tomorrow. So are we!
These are suck great pictures of our Roofie. Little does the kitty know that thanks to technology, he has people all over the country who are worried about him and joyful to see he survived multiple winter storms and looks quite healthy to boot.
And he thinks he's all on his own. Thank you for his most worthy diversion!
Hey, when is the actual date of your surgery? It's coming up in the next 3 weeks I think? How are your preparations coming along? Flu or not, you sound like you've not missed a beat in going forward with all the arrangements you have to make.
My husband had his right knee replaced last June and I was with him in the 3 day hospital stay -- slept there. Then helped for the next two weeks once we were home. You sound very organzied but you may still be unsure what to expect. If you want to chat about anything, let me know. It'd be nice if any of that could be of help to you.
Uh, hello -- that was a typo of course. I meant to say those were SUCH great pix. That's what I get for reading the BB updates before commenting here.
Sydney -- The date is still open for the knee surgery. All I really have to do is give the orthopedic surgeon six weeks notice to set a date. I want it to be after this BB ends, but far enough before the next season starts so I have writing fodder while home recovering. So I plan to schedule it sometime around the end of May or first week of June.
So it's a while away yet. I can always move it up if I have more trouble.
Hooray for Roofus!!
I am so happy to see he is alive and well, and living his happy life.
I visited the Nevada SPCA (no kill animal sanctuary) on Friday afternoon to see if I am ready for two more fur kids... Not sure yet. I was good at first, but then freaked out a bit and started comparing them to the boys I lost almost a year ago... May need a bit more time, so loving on Roofus from afar.
Great Jackie...he looks healthy too, not scrawny dont you think?
He looks healthy enough, but seemed a bit dirty. He certainly moved fine!
Jackie...
Thanks for the photos of our Roofus. I'm sure you've been watching for him and were relieved to finally see him. Little does he know how famous he is. :) We're all animal lovers here and enjoy your sharing the "Roofus Chronicles" with us.
"Dirt" premiers tonight at 10 p.m.
I have to check the guide to see if Dexter is on tonight as well. I'm getting hooked on that show. Can't wait until Jackie writes her post on "Lost"...no pressure, Jackie.
Have a good Sunday all!
xoxo
Zoetawny - I haven't even watched the most recent Lost ep. Hopefully I'll get to it tomorrow night after work.
YAY! Roofus!
YAY! Jackie! Thanks for keeping us informed. Great pics.
