I think it is going to be interesting to see how this one plays out especially after Chris' crypt comments about respecting the people. I think it leads to Melissa and her family. Even the spoiler boards which I have read for years don't have anything real to say. There is lots of specualtion. Of course they all do agree on who the winner is based on the opening clips of the blue dress. We will see. I hope it is Melissa. Just don't see a better fit with Molly and her comment it, "just because I don't show my affection, doesn't mean I don't feel it." Duh.....what a stupid thing to say. Cheers!

I finally figured it out! It has been bugging me all season, and last night, I figured it out--after she was voted off. Jillian has looked familiar to me and I couldn't place her. No, not "I know her" familiar, but she looks like someone famous. She looks like Amy Grant (Mrs. Vince Gill). But now she is gone, and so is my nagging obsession.
I, too have often wondered how far they go on the overnight date. How would it feel to be the third girl? I think it is kind of icky seeing him kiss them one right after another, let alone . . . in the fanstasy suites. ICK!
I seem to remember one season on the reunion episode a rejected gril was upset that she "spent the night together" only to be sent home the next day. Does anyone else remember that?

I've always wondered how the one that's picked feels watching the last few episodes. Not only are they having heavy make-out scenes, but he talks about falling for each of them, and then you have to watch them go into a bedroom for the night!! I'm guessing the taping was kept private for the Melissa's family. Locally, a TV anchor interviewed Jillian after the Women Tell All show and she eluded to being asked to be the next Bachelorette. She hasn't decided yet. I guess we'll have to wait with the rest of America to see what kind of monkey wrench Deanna throws into the finale!!

Nana--I hope Jillian is not the next Bachelorette, She would not interest me long enough to watch. I understand if they have a particularly popular or charasmatic woman from the previous season that the audience is invested in -- like Jen Scheff. For me, this year, that woman would be Stephanie, but I don't think that she's cut out for doing the whole dating 25 guys thing on TV to find love. I could not do it, on either end of it.
Syd - IMO, Melissa would be a good choice for B'ette, however I do not think ABC has officially picked-up the franchise for another season. Finally, the death knell for this trainwreck-of-a-show...
I don't understand. If you dislike this show so much, why do you watch it? More so, why bring all that negativity here when the rest of us obviously watch and enjoy The Bachelor? And please, no spoilers.
Frankly, I am tired of the having someone that has already been on the show be the next Bachelor/Bachelorette. Bring on someone new so we don't have any pre-convieced thoughts about the person.

Why do I watch the show if I'm going to read the spoilers....for entertainment. It's like some other shows I watch...Law&Order, etc. There are characters I don't like but I still watch it for mindless entertainment.

Did anyone see Jillian on Ellen? She was most gracious and beautiful! When asked who she thought Jason picked, she hopes it is Melissa as she got closest to her in the house. She then said, after she finds her "true love" then the two couples could get together for BBQ's. I thought that was sweet.
Chris cryptic statements at the end of the show point to Melissa's family coming.....at least I hope that is what it meant. I don't see the connection with Molly.

I know who wins! I have two friends from high school were Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. There is a ring that the Cheerleaders get and they always wear them. In the commercials when he is proposing the girls is wearing the ring that the DCC girls have!!!I THINK ITS MELISSA!

Oh, I'm so glad that that really nice guy (Is it Fred? I forgot his name already) and Noelle got together. He was a truly nice guy. It's no surprise to me that some of the former contestants would pair up and some find the real thing. It's kind of funny if they have more lasting connections through the show that way than the actual how itself, lol.

Shannon has nothing against him. She is happy in her own life now. No hard feelings or sour grapes; most of the girls all really like one another. It isn't all that dramatic once they leave the show.

I also wanted to put faces to the names I have heard mentioned as the finalists. I will watch the rest, but can't be at the keyboard while I'm in front of the TV. Well, good news from the horse's mouth, so to speak. Chris asking for help to find the next "Bachelor" and intimating that Jillian will possibly be the next Bachelorette.
So THAT's what the limo driver looks like! I'd always wondered.
Even without watching the series, I enjoyed the outtakes. Did any of the horse running away with the Bachelor make it to the show? I liked that he admitted it scared him.
They are all beautiful women. One thing about Bachelor that I like to see is how opinions change when we get to see the personalities. A girl that is beautiful when she first gets out of the limo and meets the man isn't so pretty after we see her being mean or insulting.
Having an opinion about the people on the show and who wins is what the blog is all about. However if you really hate what you are watching, then why are you here? This is not your personal blog. Jackie set this up as a favor to those of us who watch this show. Why do you waste your tme complaining? It is not necessary for anyone to have to watch what they type if they are making a guess. Up until they last week they had a 33 1/3% chance of being correct and if MELISSA is their favorite they can state that just like we do in any other show. The infighting in this blog has been very disappointing, not to mention all of the off topic conversation. Email each other! Don't waste our time here.
So, Deanna must show up on the last episode? I will be so glad when DWTS starts. I am not sure how this show survives. It should be a show I like, but I cannot make it through a whole episode without switching it off. Comments here are enough for me to enjoy.
Some of us love this show and watch it faithfully every week. That's why we come here. It is very disheartening to hear someone make comments consistantly bashing it and/or purposefully trying to spoil it for all of us. Let us watch it in peace, please.
I don't know about you guys but no one has mentioned Deanna coming back and what that might do. What if he falls for her since he 'loved' her so much. Any comments ? Another thing I noticed is that Jason keeps talking about Molly's eyes, not too much else about her besides enjoying being together with her.So, I kind of think it will be Melissa.
I truly hope and believe that Jason would not be so stupid as to think that DeAnna could possibly be in love with him after she humiliated him the way she did last season. I think she will show up only to give him advice based on her experience with him and Jesse, i.e., "Make sure you love the right one." "Don't move too fast." Any advice DeAnna can offer should be taken with a grain of salt. The girl has issues and wants to extend her "15 minutes".
I hope he chooses Melissa too.
I noticed no one said anything about Natalie. She is one spoiled, self-centered girl...."My life is my Blackberry and ipod and I couldn't have them"! With the way the girls were talking about her behavior in the house and she seemed so surprised by it....living in her own world!!
I liked Jillian but I agree with Syd, I didn't see anything all that special about her. It must be hard to sit and watch being rejected on the screen...again!
I think Deanna comes to over advice and the scene of Jason crying on the balcony is his reaction to saying good-bye to Molly...at least I hope that's it.
Seeing Jason putting Ty in a suit makes me wonder if he is part of the proposal??

From the clips, it appears that when no romance actually comes from the contestant of the game, they can all get together at the reunions and date the people from other seasons - those couples look like they are having fun!
Did anyone catch that twice now they've advertised Chirs saying they had no audience for the After The Rose show? He intimates that it is to give privacy or because something big happened. Am interested to hear what you all think?
I know we lost a lot of commenters due to the arguments that took place between posters in here in the last few weeks and I am really sad about that.
This has been for many seasons a fun place to come and chat and just be girly. I do hope if any of you are still lurking who started commenting in the beginning, I'd love to know your opinions on what I am asking about above.
Syd, I'm wondering if Melissa's parents agreed to come only if there were no audience members present. I realize there would still be a home audience (us) but maybe it's the live crowd that bothers them. Maybe it would even involve a disguise. Guess that sounds a little far-fetched, doesn't it? I really think it might have something to do with M's parents though. Meeting them is still important to Jason and the show may have come up with the empty studio to accomodate them.
Anyone else have a possible theory?

JoyN, I didn't think of that. I was thinking along the lines that the girl he doesn't propose to might have been so upset, that she refused to meet Jason again on the show and discuss in front of a live audience... though that would be a lot for the producers to agree to to change the live aspect. But obviously something changed it, and you might just be right. Can't wait to find out.

I hadn't really thought much about the After the Rose stuff, but I really like JoyN's idea. I'd love to see Melissa's parents, find out why they didn't participate in the hometown date, and what they think about Melissa on the Bachelor.
I, for one, really liked Jillian and unfortunately I can't even really place why. I guess mostly, I feel like she is a genuinely nice person, stable in her life and just lots of fun. The same stuff I felt about Stephanie. On the other hand, I never warmed up to Molly. She's a perfectly nice girl, I just didn't find her very interesting or having much depth.
Personally although I love Stephanie & Jillian, I wouldn't want either to be the next Bachelorette. I don't feel like either are the kind of girl to date 25 guys. But maybe they'll be lucky and find some love in real life due to their exposure on this show.
I am beyond thrilled that Noelle & Fred hooked up. They were some of my favs from their seasons and came across as genuinely awesome people. And good for Jesse for dating Holly. They seem like they'd have more in common than him and DeAnna, and hopefully they're very happy together.

I've read some of those "spoilers" too and Chris Harrison says they're all a crock. People are trying to find clues and then putting their theories out there as if they were fact. As Chris says, we just have to watch and see for ourselves. That's exactly what I plan to do.

I read on the Ellen Degeneres Show sight that the Bachelor runnerup will be on her show Thursday and that Jason and his chosen one will be on Friday. This should be interesting.

This is a show that preys on women and emotions. It is a real sick and sad comment and only run for ratings and ads. This new guy is a real sick one. What he did last night was unthinkable. He did not listen to anyone at all. I would not be surprised if the women sued the show - unreal to jerk women around like that. "the chemistry" is not there - OMG -what a line. I am just curious about Jillian Harris's choice of men. I THINK (not sure) that all of the finalists are Jewish and that Jillian is Jewish. So I wonder, do the show's producers ask the bachelorette whether she's only interested in a person of the same faith??
