Yes, I know I set up a blog discussion post for the show (which you can find on the sidebar). But, by popular demand, I'll be making a post for commenting each show. I'm not sure how involved I'll be able to get into actually posting about the SYTYCD after Big Brother 11 starts on July 9. But we'll worry about that when the time comes.
The show is starting here on the East Coast. I'm going to miss whoever leaves tonight -- they all have so much to offer us. I think this season has the most talented dancers ever! I'll update this post with big news as it airs and everyone is welcome to hang out in comments. Bring your own bottles ... er, snacks, please.
Kayla and Max, Randi and Evan, Phillip and Jeanine are safe. (Yay, Phillip!)
Jason and Caitlin are safe (Bollywood). Melissa and Ade are safe. Ashley and Kupono are safe (crash test dummies). Tony and Paris are in the bottom three couples.
Vitolio and Asuka are in the bottom three. Brandon and Janette are safe. Jonathan and Karla are in the bottom three.
Paris is going home. Tony is going home.

Well, sad to see them go, but that is the drill. Two have to leave each week whether we like it or not!
I sometimes wonder, especially after a routine that was not "memorable", if another couple would have gone home if they had drawn that routine, style of dance, or choreographer...

Haven't watched it yet... taped... and even tho you've told me, I still don't know who went home. Haven't caught onto their names yet and don't remember who danced which dance.
Really enjoyed the show tho. I quickly abandoned Celebrity. Too rediculous.
I was disappointed with the judges decision on which girl they sent home. I really thought that Paris was better than Carla. In their group performance I thought Paris outshined Tony...he was the one that made them look disjointed, and he was the one that messed up the steps in the middle of the dance. I wonder if he had danced cleaner if they'd have even been in the bottom.
As far as the boys, I thought either Tony or Jonathon was fair game to go home. Both of them drew their own styles and didn't do anything impressive with their dances. In both cases their partners (who were out of their element) danced better than them.
I was not very impressed with Asuka or Vittolio in their dance...but their solos were much better, especially Asuka.
I'm sad we have to wait until next Wednesday for more!

I had a feeling Paris and Tony was going home. The judges was not gaga over their peformance and their solos were not outstanding.
I was disappointed in the majority of the solos.
Doesn't Johnathon seem too young to be dancing like he was? I just couldn't buy it.

I don't understand how the judges keep praising Phillip and then constantly critizing Evan when he is a better dancer than Phillip. Seems biased to me.
