Hey, Jackie. Great pictures today. And you were on a roll with the titles.
Thanks! Quiet here so far! It looks like Jeff and Jordan and the models are in trouble.
Hey, Jackie. Are we the only one's here?
Yeah, they screwed up royally.
Hi ya'll.
Those guys brought Hat covers? Now that is cowboy hat dedication. :)
Glad to see the J& J are still in it.
How can anyone not drive a shift. Just think of the letter H. Start at the top, go down, go back up to neutral over, up and then all the way down.
g'evening
Hey, Lisanne.
I only saw a snippet of last week, and jusy 25 minutes into tonight, yet... I totally don't like the 2 women team that made fun of the pageant girl.
Hey, Petals. Good to see you here again.
I do like the cowboys. I forget who I have.
Go cowboys!
I knew Llamas spit, didn't know they kicked.
Hey Becky! I'm just all-out rooting for everyone I like. I like Jeff/Jordan, obviously. And the cowboys, and the construction worker guys.
oh now...THAT would be fun! (condor thing)
Oh, Steve and Ali. That is who I have in the pool.
Oh, and I love the gramma team, too! Go Gramma!
Hi Ladies! I was busy getting dinner in the oven and forgot to get here in time for the beginning. Just watched last week's show yesterday so it's hard to believe it's time for a new show already.
I'm trying to be open-minded about the players but a couple bugged me on the first leg. I don't care for princesses in any show!
I was sorry to see that nice married couple go so soon!
Construction workers? Could you mean the cop team -- Louie and Michael?
Remember how we said that if we knew we were going to be on Survivor we would learn to make fire with a flint? If I was going to be on AR I would make sure I knew how to drive a standard.
no crying over spilt milk...
Hey, Laurie. Guess Sydney's computer is still on the fritz.
Yes Ms Jackie, Thank you!- Louis & Michael... cops... Not construciton. :)
How can the butchy business women be so butch & so prissy at the same time?
Shoot! Winter storm here, and the stupid school closing scroll is blocking the text.
Yee-HAW!
I missed that...what was that?
Anybody at the check-in spot yet?
Not looking so good for the cops. :-(
Never mind. I see Jackie already posted that info.
Now where are those Lawyer-Moms??
The cowboys and I think Caitan and her partner.
Laurie - Current pit stop on main post
whoopsy daisy cop!
oh no. Poor gramma! Watch those hooves.
maybe tonight won't be an elimination..?
I would have a hard time going into a chicken houses. I don't like birds.
I hate to see Grandma and granddaughter go.
Catch you guys later.
Aw, they were a sweet team. But I think the grandmother was so in awe of the adventure that she didn't really RACE, per se.
I agree Jackie. At least she & her g-dtr got to have a great adventure.
I think I would have the same problem. I would want to slow down and just soak it all in.
Night all.
Sorry to see the Grandma team go, but I'm happy Jeff and Jordon are still in it. Is it me, or do they not seem to show them much.
My girl got kicked in the head. That must have smarted!
It was fun to watch.
I was gone all day, and thought I'd be home in time for TAR, so I didn't record it. But things rar long and I missed the whole show--darn! But I'm happy to see that my cowboys had a good week. I'm looking forward to reading Jackie's review on TV Squad. In the meantime, I'll check out That Was the Week It Was.
The post above is mine...it posted before I added my name.
Got a d**n virus on my computer tonight about 7:30. Think it's gone but not totally sure. Got to watch the show. Sorry to see Shannon and Jody elim'd.
Becky-- Yuo're right, computer is in the shop and not sure I'll be getting it back... won't probably know till Wednesday!!! AK!
JoyN and TerryinCa are having puter probs too??
I steal a moment here and there on my husband's old PC. I am a Mac user so while I can work it, I'm growing gray waiting for it to get me where I need to be.
I agree that I wouldn't go on this show without knowing how to drive a stick but I'm going to disagree that it's a breeze. If you never learned to drive one, the stick shift is more than the H, which isn't as easy to outline to begin with... it also has to do with the clutch and pushing it in and putting on the gas at just the right timing. And stalling if you don't. It REALLY is much easier to turn a key put a regular car into drive and start or stop and turn it off.
I have the two detectives, but I'm not rooting for them. Jordan and Jeff have been really great so far. No arguing YET at least... And I'm pretty disappointed in the two girlfriends... all their hideous prejudices and remarks. I wanted the granny to stay in the game but she was too busy stopping to smell the roses along the way to RACE. Gotta hand it to her, getting kicked in the head and keeping going.
Baker's Dozen is 13 eggs? Does everyone know that except me?
Hi everyone sorry I'm late. Mom and I were at a party and ended up at the emergency room. Mom broke her ankle in at least 3 places getting in the car to go home. She is having surgery tomorrow to repair it. Not the way I was planning on spending my night. I will send and update tomorrow after surgery.
Margo
Whenever i visit any blog containing something about Amazing race i cant resist myself from commenting. I watch this show in my Dish TV and dream to take part in , because i love to travel all around the globe.
Sorry about your Mom, Margo, hope she recovers quickly!
I'm so bummed that Grandma and granddaughter are gone, not just because they were my pool team but because I do think they were inspirational. Grandma did race to her ability; I think both she and her granddaughter just had truly the best and most positive attitude about the challenges they faced. It's nice to see a team so genuinely aprreciative and just plain nice.
Jeff and Jordan proved two things this week. First, never stop racing because you might still be in it, and very in it. Second, never hang around with THE team with a couple of SUCH AS models. Luckily they recovered from that. It appears to me that Jeff not only has patience with Jordan but also an honest appreciation of her sweetness and overall manner. It's kind of hard not to root for them.
Therfore, like many others I'm jumpin on your raft Rozee, Caela and Monty924-Jeff and Jordan all the way! Merilee and Dusty, you in?
ML
Margo, your mom is covered with prayer and there's plenty to share with you. Please let us know how she is doing later today! Big hugs for you, my friend.
Margo, please post and let the Jackie crowd know how your mom is doing. Prayers going up for her.
Anon, now you too know what a "baker's dozen" is. I think it started when a baker would put in an extra donut, roll or what ever when someone ordered a dozen. Doesn't happen now.

TOTALLY OFF TOPIC.......
Joyn and our other TV slueths-- I need your help. I saw an advertisement for DWTS during the Bachelor last night and am wondering if we have any spoilers as to who the new celebraties are? They also said Melissa Rycroft will be making the announcements....is she taking the place of Samantha Harris?
Thanks for any info you can dig up.
BTW--Margo sorry to hear about your mom.
Nana in the NW
I was so impressed with my cowboys. They were very smart to quickly look for other options when they couldn't get on that first bus. They seem to get along really well, which should work to their advantage.
Nana,
All I've heard so far is that Jonathan Roberts and Lacey Schwimmer won't be back this season. No word on whether Jonathan's wife, Anna Trebunskay will follow suit. The season starts March 22.
RTVW also says that the contestants will be announced at a later date.
I did get a virus on my computer and had to take it to a tech (thank God for nerds) to get it fixed. My first and hopefully, last virus. It totally took control of my pute. GRRRRR.
Don't open anything that says Personal Security even if it looks like it's coming from Windows. They are sneaky devils.
Thank goodness we found a great tech who fixed it overnight.
OT*****
Nana, I keep hearing Pamela Anderson will be on DWTS. The rest are going to be announced during the Bachelor finale.
OT -----------
Mel B is in running to take Samantha's place on DWTS.
Names (only rumored) to be on this season; Pamela Anderson, John Stamos, Kate Gosselin, Kevin Federline, Brooklyn Decker (model/Sports Illus. covergirl), Paula Abdul, Greg Louganis (Olympic swimmer), Evan Lysacek (Olympic figure skating champ), Danielle Fishel(StyleNetwork's "DISH" host) and Jennifer Grey, "Dirty Dancing star and daughter of Joel Grey. All of this from AOL.
