You have this up early...Good Evening everyone!
Hey, Jackie. Wanted to tell you how much I have enjoyed the pictures on the your weekly page the past few weeks.
This here have been very harried and I have to scramble to find to sit at the computer for Survivor AR. But I have certified this as my Me Time.
Hello everyone!!! TAR and Jackie's blog are my fav part of Sunday nite!!!
Hey, Deelee.
Hey Becky, glad you have a bit of a breather. Read the obit in the CC paper. Nice write up!
Can not believe they are not going to New Zealand, so close!
Hey guys!
Hi, Caela. Thank you, Deelee. He was a wonderful brother-in-law up until about three years ago. I think he must have had a stroke then because his personality completely changed. He is at peace now.
Becky - you are using your "me time" in a good way : )
hi y'all!
These teams shouldn't have second guessed themselves on that other flight.
Go Cowboys!
The car park thingy is neato!
is that a car vending machine???
Hey JoyN
We (USA) are so antiquated with our Hertz kiosks, LOL
Petals, like car vending machine HAHA! Most of our vehicles would not fit in the slots.
Dee - you are right! Japanese have already figured out that SUVs are gas-suckers! Gas is $3.35/gallon here!
I like my SUV and will never drive a small vehicle no matter the price. Need the room for travel.
Hi folks
Petals, my friend know that I need the Me Days to rejuvenate myself. I have a lot of the care of my almost 93 year old mother and my DH and his brother had the care of their ill brother.
I try and go out to lunch, get my nails done or just do something like sit and read a book from cover to cover every other week at least.
Hi Joe, late to the party!
Joe, xoxoxxo
Looks like my girls are gone!
hate hate hate Jamie and Cara! Such ugly attitudes!!!
My pool girls ought to watch where they're driving.

Is anyone gonna watch Celebrity Apprentice? This will be good, with Gary Busey!
Will watch Celebrity A and America's Next Great Restaurant...Friday night on CNBC starting at 8p E
Great the Globetrotters messed up, wonder what happens now?
Caela, are Jamie & Cara the redheads?
I'll be watching Celeb. Appren. too.
Yes and JoyN and me team!
Yes, Petals, the redheads.
Wow that last comment by me was perfect English! LOL
I like Z & J, and the cowboys. The redheads are too...red.
With the two dogs, I can barely watch anything. I've seen about 3 minutes of Amazing Race tonight. And I'm less than an hour from bed.
And classes start tomorrow...my life is just tooooo exciting.
Hon (Joe), Bash & I turn into pumpkins before 9pm; we wake at 4am! How is your baby?
WHAT!?! That penalty is such crap!! it was a mistake! they left the fanny pack next to their belongings! BOOOOO!
Aww, NO! I love Mel & Mike.
Sad to see Mel and Mike go, but they were freezing and that is dangerous!
Oh, I hate to see Mel and Mike go.
I think it's probably a good thing that Mel and Mike gave up. They both seemed weaker this season.
Petals, sorry I didn't get back to you with the dryer story. It's a local story. A couple with two children (5 and 18 months) were in a laundromat. One of them got the bright idea to take a "funny picture" with the 5 year old in a dryer. Apparently the kid was scared and crying but they put him in anyway and took the picture with Dad's holding a coin near the coin slot. They never turned on the dryer nor intended to and supposedly the kid quieted right down when they gave him the quarter afterwards.
Well, the whole thing was caught on video surveillance. Now, my position is that it was silly and a little mean since the kid was afraid, but in no way was the kid ever in danger. Nonetheless, they arrested both parents for endangering the welfare of a minor. They could lose the kids, etc. And it just seemed to me to be such an abuse of the system. By their logic, any mother using a cell phone with a kid in the car should be charged with the same thing (or worse). Heck, any mother caught speeding or running a stop sign with a kid in the car could be charged the same way.
Am I crazy here? I mean where is the threat to the kid. It was maybe dumb and possibly a little mean (they should have given the kid the quarter first! LOL), but criminal????
Gonna get ready for ni-night. I have 11 pillows on my bed, so it takes as much time to turn it down as it does to to make it! G'nite guys!
G'nite boyfriend. xxx
Joe, that happened in the laundromat in my town here.
Joe - OMG. Ca-RAZY that they arrested the parents. That is more damaging to the kid than the dryer!
Richard Hatch on Celeb. Apprent.!
The D & C paper says that the father held the door shut as the child cried. The woman was not the child's mother.
Hi joy n,
Yes, the 18 month old was theirs, the 5 year old was his.
Again, I'm not saying it was nice or even right. But criminal?
My family has a picture of the 4 of us kids taken at Letchworth with us on the wrong side of the stone wall near the gorge. My father shot it from an angle so it looks like we're dangling over the gorge but we're standing on a strip of earth about 4 feet wide. Now, if you ask me we were in much greater danger than the kid in the dryer. And I'm pretty sure everyone has done something stupid with their kids at some point from drinking while they are sleeping to leaving candles burning by mistake, to speeding, biking without helmets, eating while driving, turning to yell at the kids while driving, etc.
It's all a little dumb and a little risky but it shouldn't (IMHO) be criminalized.
I agree, thw authorities seem to have gone overboard on this. Criminal charges seem far-fetched. But the 5 year old had to be a bit scared. They said he cried for his dad to stop. Maybe one class of safer parenting.
Well, Richard Hatch is still in prime a-hole mode on Celebrity Apprentice, isn't he?
I agree, joyn. Glad to see prison didn't mellow him out any. :)

Zev & Justin - Zoetawny, Brent 2 wins
Winners:
2/27: Zev & Justin - Trip to Cancun
3/06: Zev & Justin - Trip to Costa Rica
Out:
2/27: Amanda & Kris - meb, Nana in NW, DKNYNC
3/06: Mel & Mike - Jenna's Mom, Sydney
Well, Sydney, I guess we got "philiminated".....
Rooting for the cowboys, anyway!
I was sad to see Mel and Mike eliminated. I was hoping it was the girls instead. That penalty against the Globetrotters seemed a bit harsh, I thought. It seemed like they got a penalty because the father/daughter whined and were upset. I thought it was much to do about nothing.
