Ozzy, in his own little pity party, told his tribe (ex-alliance) that he has the idol. Meanwhile Runt Hantz has found the idol at their camp.
Time for the duel! Christine wins her 4th duel!
Coach worked on his Edna minion while Ozzy apologized to his tribe.
Immunity -- wheelbarrows, slingshots, coconuts and targets. Reward is a water slide area and picnic lunch.
Savaii wins immunity after a horrible start! Mikayla really lost any edge Upolu had by using the slingshot one-handed. Why she did it that way, I haven't a clue. But now Coach wants her out.

Coach is actually playing smart. And Brendan actually hurt himself when he did all that truth exposing earlier. If he hadn't, Coach would have probably trusted him with the info. But when Brendan told all the secrets during his meltdown/recovery, he proved himself untrustworthy.

It somehow just doesn't seem completely fair that Christine could win like 6 duels and if she loses the 7th, she goes home and the guy who beat her goes back in the game. I mean I understand the principle is that you reward people who survived longer in the game by giving them a shorter path back into the game. But I'd like to see some kind of balance.

The behind-the-scene making of Survivor is pretty interesting in how they come up with the challenges, testing them & whatnot.
I would have liked to see a little more complicated puzzle in building the wheelbarrow and slingshot.

Brandon just doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut. What Brandon said about loyalty is truer than Coach's view, but some things you just don't say in Survivor. I think Coach will zero in on Brandon next.

And I think Jeff's "loyalty isn't always the answer" is pretty weak. We've seen tribes without numbers at the merge actually win by playing against a non-unified tribe that has numbers. In fact, if I recall correctly, Russell never had numbers at the merge.
You know, Brandon had a point about the difference between last tribal and this one. Sophie made a great argument to keep loyalty and then just turned around and shot that all to hell this tribal.
Little creepy gave me some drinking moments tonight, but I'm glad he said that tonight.

You are oh so correct, Joe. Russell always went in without the numbers but he had loyalty.
Brandon is the ideal ally if you control his access to information. He's very predictable so you can rely on him. That said, he's a potential liability post-merge since the other tribe will be feeding him information, true and false, and if they are smart they can use him themselves.
And Jeff himself knows it. He's always said that the key to Survivor is remembering that someone is always at the bottom of an alliance and that those people can be got.
This hour passes far too quickly. Whhoosshh!
