I will try my best to at least post the major events of the show as it airs this week. I still can't twist around or sit too long with the back surgery, thus the live blogging might not be as thorough as it could be.
Lifeguard Laurie was relieved that the merge finally came and they stopped shuffling the castaways into different tribes! Here's the latest blog pool standings --

Libby is a bit worried because she's received votes three Tribals in a row. Dom is thrilled that Chris is gone. Wendell wants to stick with Dom, Donathan and Laurel hoping it's a core group. He tells Laurel that Dom indeed has a real idol, trying to make sure the loyalty is there. He also tells her that he himself has an idol. All of this makes her a bit more leery of him as he's been keeping secrets. She thinks Dom and Wendell might have too much power.
Reward Challenge -- Two teams of six. An afternoon at the Survivor Taco Bar. Schoolyard pick. Balance beams across platforms, race across beach, catapult at targets. Wendell, Donathan, Laurel, Angela, Chelsea and Libby win Reward. They draw rocks and Jenna goes to Ghost Island.
Chelsea ended up with a "No Game For You" scroll. She is quite disappointed.
Uh-oh. Wendell found out that Michael's been tossing his name around. New target drawn on his back!
Time for the Immunity Challenge. It's the food eating competition. Always lovely to watch! Fish eyes first! First three of six to get both eyes down move on to the next round. Michael, Desiree and Laurel move on. Angela, Sebastian and Dom move on in the next group.
Beetle larva (live, of course) is next. Michael, Sebastion and Laurel move on.
Some kind of icky sea "squab?" Michael is moving on! Angela is moving on.
Mother of Pearl meat and lots of it. ANGELA WINS IMMUNITY!
Michael wants Wendell out. Angela wants Michael out. The original Naviti think they should get Michael out. They want to get Laurel in with them. The original Naviti/Malolo tribes seem to be sticking together quite well. Libby is willing to vote for Michael but now she's worried her name will still be in there.
Tribal Council time. Lots of Probsting questions, little drama. It's time to vote.

Wendell did a weird thing: he excelled in the physical challenge but then sucked at the eating thing!
This tribe is all mostly floaters. It sucks, IMO. I hate this tribe. Only like 2-3 true players, IMO.
There is a flaw in the Survivor game, where the athletic, strong players who win the challenges are then targeted by the very tribe they played for! What can be done?

I just watched Survivor. Great episode. I know one thing, if they do not get rid of either Dom or Wendell, they might as well kiss the million good bye. Laurel is right, Dom and Wendell have too much power. We'll see if they do something about it. Probably not.
Glad Michael saved himself again. He is a good player. But..does anyone know how you get to be a real estate seller when you are only 18?? I agree with Petals that all the most interesting people are getting targeted and the nameless faceless crowd is riding the wake.
If the final comes down to Dom and Wendell, I'd much rather Wendell win.
Glad my pool buddy (Michael) saved himself, but with his Idol gone now, his goose is cooked... unless he wins immunity from now on (highly unlikely).
