| Clueless about BB but very likable. |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Currently Celibate Celebs:
- To start off I would like to make note of a few differences between this and regular BB. A huge one is no slop. As a matter of fact these hamsters get pen and paper to submit food requests. I guess there are rules that the pen and paper can only be used for food requests. But BB NEVER gave out writing implements before. They also seem to have a fairly regular supply of alcohol.
- Now, I'm not saying all of BB should be able to request foods or get a pen/paper to do so. But it's seriously time for slop to go away. People get grouchy. People get sick. Bring back the old food comps!
- Saving Carson hinged on Cynthia winning veto.
- She didn't.
- It would have only bought a week anyway.
- Unlike Todrick's nasty ways he used to personally target Shana, Todd's nominations have been done right.
- Todd talked with Carson. Carson knows everyone except Cynthia wants him out. Carson understands that Todd did what he had to do to move his own game along.
- It's so nice not to see the animosity even though I do love a good brouhaha.
- Oh? Who won veto?
- Miesha, of course.
- At this time I'm pretty much satisfied with a win from anyone but Todrick. I feel he crossed a line.

Thanks for the updates. I agree with you, Todrick is the only one I don't want to win. I about fell out of my chair last night when he was bashing Shanna and how she was the most self absorbed person he had ever met. What?!
Meisha deserves the win, but CBS had see that would be the outcome. She is a professional athlete against a bunch of out of shape people. Her sour angry expression bugs me. I wonder if she will smile when she wins.

I liked those old food competitions too. They seemed like they were fun for the houseguests and were fun to watch too--all the houseguests working together on a common goal and rooting for each other.
I'm still finding both Toddrick and Miesha insufferable and mean-spirited, and don't think their game play is at all admirable. Granted, Toddrick is the worse of the two, but Miesha seems to encourage his behavior and even takes credit for some of it.
Todd has impressed me the last couple of days--hope he becomes a contender. Lamar seems like a decent guy too, even if he doesn't know the game.

Yeah, thanks to Jackie for suffering through the feeds so we dont have to. I feel bad about what happened to Shanna. I think I heard some gossip that her boyfriend was mean to her for "flirting" with Lamar. I hope Im wrong. Hopefully Shanna will be recognised for the innocent victim she really was. And poor Lamar, he is like a giant puppy. Too big to be on the furniture but so loveable...
We have Season 2 of BB Celebrity Quebec going on right now and they have introduced slop and have nots this week, which they didn’t in season 1. They even decided to do the anymous HOH week. They clearly upped the game this season but the celebrities know more what they are getting into, most what tons of seasons from various BBs, and we only had one person self evict compared to S1 of the celebrity edition, when like a third of the house ended up self evicting!
They also had to deal with houseguests testing positive for COVID during the first week (they didn’t really do a proper quarantine before the start of the game) and had to deal with that. One houseguest tested positive before day 1 and they put him in quarantine and he got in the house on week 2… sadly, without immunity as it is usually the case when BB sends someone in later in the game. The first houseguest who tested positive while in the house was sent to a hotel but still in the game and, after, they switched the HOH room to be the quarantine room and celebrities could decide to stay together in that room or go to a hotel. Only one decided on the hotel.
As for slop, they clearly stated in the Quebec version that they prepared it with nutritionists and it seems celebrities on slop have 3 types of slop depending on their diet… but with the same effect on their body and mind. I would prefer food comps too, but since they have never done slop or have nots in any of the Quebec versions, it’s nice to see how contestants and viewers are reacting.
Note that our celebrity version is as long as a normal version of BB. However, as it is the case in some celebrity versions, they have an iPod with music they selected before, they have better food, etc. And the have not room is not too bad (military theme).
So I’m watching two versions of BB celebrity at the same time! And BB Canada starts early March! ;)

I agree - anyone but Todrick. But also Meisha! She is a real bully, IMO. I didn't see it at first, but yeah - it's like a T-Rex in the house with a bunch of hamsters.

Todrick is horrid. Not a nice person. Can he just quit with the Shanna trashing. He won't quit talking....talks about himself all the time and how great he is. OMG! I agree that Meisha is not much better. Todd or Lamar for the win. Shanna for favorite house guest.
Im totally o er todrick and meisha o es a bully and the other a liar....i do not want them to win...of course i want cardon to stay and win but unless someone can talk everyone to put lamar out. I like him but he has no clue.

I saw where Todrick was making this about race to Lamar. Getting that white girl out. Was this the line he crossed? There have been so many. Lamar basically rightly pointed out that Miesha is white and Todrick went silent. I am the most disappointed in Todrick this season, he is just not a nice person at all.
Todrick has talked bad almost everyone in some way. Mostly Shanna and Chris K. He told Chris his family would be embarrassed of him. OMG Talk about embarrassed. How do Todricks family and friends feel about him? Yes he did bring race into it.
Very interesting about the Canada shows, Isabelle. I know they're bringing several seasons of BBCan to Paramounnt+ here.
