Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Saturday night into Sunday - July 20

A goal of 2400 goals in 24 hours

Mind you, I took that particular screen cap above hours ago. Here's the latest news from inside that Big Brother House of Teenage Angst:

• Despite my screen cap above, Brittany kicked 1000 soccer goals in six hours. She's complaining her leg and groin hurt. They probably do.
• Cody's punishment from the veto is a butt-kicking machine (screen cap below). He stands with his back to it, pulls a rope and it kicks him. He only has to do it when called by BB.
• (When I last posted, they were still on indoor lockdown and I wasn't sure of the punishments.)
• Caleb, who won $5,000, offered to take Amber on a nice cruise.
• She should have said, "Sure! But not with you!"
• He then told her that he had told himself that his next relationship would be one God put in front of him.
• And, there was Amber.
• What is WRONG with that boy?
• Oh, but he's been saying he no longer cares about her for two days now!
• Brittany isn't allowed to go back into the house until she finishes the 2400 goals.
• Well, with the exception that the soccer net broke and they had to all go on indoor lockdown while BB dudes (maybe dudettes) fixed it.
• Cody feels bad that Brittany is up on the block and is the target to go home. He didn't want that blood on his hands.
• Cody is also ticked that Zach is being nasty to Brittany. No need for that.
• Cody is right.
• But, in watching Zach for a few weeks now, I think he's the kind of guy who goes around joking and poking fun without boundary. He's not very cognizant of other people's feelings.
• Apparently, in the veto comp Nicole took the veto away from Brittany. But then someone took it from her and she ended up with the Germa-tard.
• Brittany says Nicole deserves the Germa-tard and she's thankful she won't be walking out of the house Thursday in it.
• Heh. Cody is indeed a soccer player, was on the college team and such. He said that when he mentioned it, Caleb couldn't think of what to say. Cody thinks the delay was that Caleb was trying to figure what to say to bring himself into the situation.
• Yep, it's all about Caleb.
• And, Caleb is still all about Amber!
• Derrick and Frankie talked about how Brittany is manipulative and that she's probably much better off than she says. She's mentioned being at the Playboy mansion, having a BMW and other not "poor single mother of three" things.
• They also think that the person who wins should be who played the game best, not who "needs" the money.
• I've always said that myself.
• Don't get me on that soapbox.
• Donny is most likely going to be the pawn when Victoria takes herself off the block.
• Sigh. They want him up because they don't think he has any chance of being voted out.
• But, still ...!
• Meanwhile, Amber is trying to rally girls to save Brittany.
• Now, I'm all in favor of a group of women in the BB house actually coming together to kick butt against the men.
• But this group certainly can't hold together. They've already proven that.
• And I don't want Donny gone due to a false start in an alliance which will never work.
• BB gave them alcohol, stingy as usual. But it's been a while since they last had any.
• Ohh! Six beers and two bottles of wine for the whole group!
• I don't think Derrick drinks, though. Not that it makes a difference when there are still so many people in the house.
• Cody found out that Frankie told Amber that he (Cody) had a hand in her nomination.
• Frankie needs to watch his loose lips!
• Caleb keeps bragging about his money winnings. You'd think that five grand was five million the way he talks.
• Of course, this is a guy who thinks the show ends with red carpet walks and tuxedos.
• Frankie and Derrick definitely want Donny to stay. They want Team America to go as far as it can. They haven't heard if their nomination target of Amber qualifies even though the house has all said she's a threat.
• But, in the end, they're loyal to The Detonators -- Frankie, Derrick, Cody, Zach and Christine.
• But, then again, Derrick says he would love to be in a final three as Team America.
• Hmm.
• There are some worries about Donny slipping up as he's already referred to America in front of others and made a brief unexplained mention of ten thousand dollars.
• Frankie said the rules are that if you out the other TA members, you disqualify them all from the winnings. If you just out yourself, it's just you losing your winnings.
• That's pretty much where we are right now.

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Saturday daytime/Power of Veto - July 19

Yikes! Busy day and I'm playing catch up here! Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Too Much Going on in Two Days:

• The additional players for PoV drawn were : Zach, Nicole and Caleb.
• Brittany drew Houseguest's Choice and asked for a volunteer. Caleb was the one. Hmm.
• Oh geez ... we didn't see this coming -- VICTORIA won Power of Veto!
• Victoria who?
• Oh. She's in the house this year?
• It looks like it was a Germany/soccer related comp. 
• It was the one where they win things, then can swap with previous winners.
• Zach won a trip for two to Germany.
• Nicole has to wear a "Germa-tard."
• Victoria apologized to Brittany for winning.
• Um. Well. Victoria who?
• Brittany has to score soccer goals in the backyard for 24 hours ... or something to that effect. Cody too has to kick soccer balls. I'm not sure of the rules on either of them.
• Caleb won five grand.
• A segment of the house want Caleb or Zach to be put up as a replacement.
• They doubt that Cody would put up Zach as they're so close.
• Then the discussion turned to it being Caleb or Donny.
• Sigh.
• They NEED to stop putting Donny on the block!
• Derrick would prefer Donny to go up as he's sure Donny would have the votes to stay over Brittany. He fears if Zach or Caleb go on the block, either one of them might be voted out instead of Brittany.
• Cody is ticked off that he's probably going to put Donny up even though he's sure Brittany will be voted out.
• Lots of talking going on.
• Brittany is sure she's going home.
• I hope so.
• Unless Caleb goes on the block, that is.
• Then he can go.

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Friday evening/BotB results - July 18

You're never going to believe what I did ... and I blame Big Brother for it. You know I've mentioned before that I hate them running the Jeff interviews or house highlights during comps instead of the trivia with the theme music. Y'see, with the latter, I could nap and, when the feeds came back live with voices talking, that would wake me up. If it's all talk, I can't nap. I work full-time in addition to trying to cover the show and feeds each season. I run on empty for the three months or so of the show. I'm not whining here, just explaining.

So, when they went into the BotB comp earlier, I decided to take a nap. Since it was voices not music on the feeds, I shut it down and set my alarm clock for 45 minutes. I woke up nearly SEVEN hours later! Gah! But now I've flashbacked on the feeds, caught up on what I missed and here I am ... here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Ants Marching:

• Victoria thinks the house is "too high school."
• Well, duh. It always is! The others think she acts like she thinks she's better than them.
• High school all the way.
• Amber and Jocasta won the BotB, so Frankie is dethroned. Cody remains HoH and on the block we have Brittany and Victoria.
• Christine told the guys that Amber was trying to rally up the girls to go against the guys.
• I realize that Christine says she's a superfan and, while I don't care much for recruits to the show and would prefer seeing fans on the show, I'm beginning to get increasingly irked by her.
• My irkitude (yeah, I made up a word, but better than PaoPao's!) started when I heard Christine call the live feeds watchers "creeps."
• Zach told Brittany he would vote to keep her. Yeah, he said the same to Devin. But he MEANS it with her! Or, so he tells her.
• Brittany is the main target of the two on the block.
• But I think we're in a situation this week, unlike last week, that the tides can change either way.
• While they have their eye on Brittany to go, Victoria might just implode and make them want her out more.
• Caleb told Amber there's some negative buzz about her going around. He said she only went on the block because she said she didn't mind going up as a pawn if needed.
• Amber told him it's obvious that the guys are all working together.
• Well, duh.
• Caleb, for once using his noggin, told Amber he thinks Frankie goes around stirring up stuff in the house.
• BINGO! Add in Christine and you have an Andy!
• Brittany is shocked that Cody put her up because she trusted him.
• Hey, it's BB. Trust no one.
• Victoria, in a huge crying jag after being called to the Diary Room, told Zach, "You'll never guess why they called me into ..."
• Cut to fish cam.
• I tried flashing back to see what she might have done, but I don't know. She acted like it was very traumatic.
• Caleb and Amber talked forever. In the talk, Caleb told her practically everything he knows about what's going on with whom.
• Oh my, silly boy. She can use all that to better her own game.
• Brittany thinks she's in the game to win (and create a better life for her family) while she pointed out to Victoria that most think she's (Victoria) is just there.
• Victoria bristled and said just because she doesn't go around telling everyone her life's story, doesn't mean she doesn't want or need to win.
• Caleb went and reported to Frankie, amongst other things, that Amber thinks he (Frankie) is working both sides.
• @@ Just when I thought the boy might have a brain.
• Nicole and Zach talked about Amber being a snake. That's true. But so is Nicole's buddy Christine!
• Victoria thinks that everyone is attacking her on a personal level.
• Hey, that happens in the house!
• Zach pigged out on cookies again.
• Donny thinks his sister might be watching the live feeds 'cuz she has the internets.
• Victoria said that Zach is pushing Brittany to throw her (Vic) under the bus.
• Amber insisted to the boys that she hasn't been repeating talks she has with the guys to the girls.
• Follow that?
• She's basically being honest about that.
• It's more Frankie and Christine playing both sides. Amber, while she tries to be in with the girls and talks to them, hasn't betrayed any confidences with the guys.
• Not that I've seen, anyway.
• Of course, that doesn't mean that she always agrees with them. She might be filing away the little tidbits of info to better her own game.
• There's getting to be unrest through much of the house.
• Good. I like it that way.

After a long feeds block earlier, they came back on with Nominations wall all lighted up. As expected -- Frankie nominated Amber and Jocasta, Cody nominated Brittany and Victoria.

As I post this, the Battle of the Block is underway. When I know, you'll know!

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Thursday night into Friday - July 18

I'm still a bit ticked that they didn't show any of the comp on the live feeds. Grr.  Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Frankie is Way Too Loud:

• Caleb is still crying for attention. First he showed a lump of some sort on his chest and told Brittany it was cancer, that he had it checked out.
• Then he said the doctors said it was nothing and would go away; he's had it before.
• Then he said he looked like a Holocaust victim due to his week on slop.
• @@
• Nicole is no longer a frog, but Hayden still wants to be her prince.
• Frankie really should never win HoH again. He screams and is overly excited about everything -- he's either going to give me a heart attack or disturb my neighbors here. Shh ... Frankie, just shh. Act like a normal human being!
• Hmm ... my boy Derrick needs to remember he's NOT HoH anymore. He was saying Jocasta and Brittany need to be on the block, opposite sides so that one goes home. He also tossed Amber's name around.
• When they talked with Frankie and Cody, it was all girls they're planning to put on the block -- Amber, Brittany, Victoria and Jocasta. 
• An Amber nomination would satisfy the strong player as she's probably the strongest female competitor in the house -- Brittany is also a strong competitor.
• Cody does not want to personally put Amber on the block although he has no problem with Frankie putting her up.
• Brittany cried as she thinks Cody will probably put her on the block. 
• She's probably right.
• Cody thinks that if Amber and Brittany are nominated together, they'd win the BotB over Jocasta and Victoria.
• Jocasta hinted that she had darker days before coming into her current life. She should have gone to jail?!?! Hmm.
• They're discombobulated over the sleeping arrangements once again.
• I don't get to use the word 'discombobulated' nearly often enough.
• Poor Nicole, after getting teased by Zach about who's sleeping where, cried.
• Donny told Zach to apologize to her. He did.
• Zach seems to be one of those jokesters who doesn't realize that not everything is a joke to everyone.
• Dang. Does Frankie have to keep screaming about everything?
• It turns out that, not only did a crow attack and carry her away when she was a child, but Victoria is scared of ALL animals.

• When she talked about it and they all laughed, she thought they were laughing AT her, not WITH her.
• She's right; she sounds silly. Nicole's fear of ghosts and the dark are more rational.
• This time Frankie got word about the Team America mission and told Derrick.
• Frankie told Derrick they need to convince Donny that Amber is a physical threat.
• Neither are talking about putting up Caleb or Hayden, the obvious physical threats.
• Brittany is solidifying their thoughts of putting her on the block by exiling herself and being weepy while everyone else is having a good time.
• Let's all see the HoH room! Oh, joy! Joy! Frankie screams some more as he discovers what he thought was a Hogwarts shirt, Fig Newtons and every little thing in his basket. Make him stop. My neighbors are probably going to call the police!
• Cody's letter was from his father, Frankie's from his sister.
• Yet his sister's identity was NOT revealed.
• Derrick and Brittany talked about how Victoria was lousing up the sleeping arrangements -- she won't sleep in the same room as men ... except Cody. For some odd reason, it's okay for her to sleep in the same room as Cody.

• And Nicole doesn't want to not sleep with Christine.
• Sheesh.
• At least, with Frankie as one of the HoH and Derrick counseling them, Donny should be safe this week.

Brittany and Jocasta were working on their 12th egg when Frankie/Cody won. Victoria and Christine had ONE egg through when Frankie/Cody won. ONE EGG! Bwahahaha!

Who's ready for a new Head of Household? I know I am. While we all know who the target is tonight and we just don't know if it will be unanimous or not ... the HoH will be (as Julie says) "up for grabs."

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Boredom:

• They're on indoor lockdown.
• Led by Frankie, they meditated.
• That's always so interesting to watch on the live feeds.
• Not!
• Caleb complained that BB hasn't done anything about the ants in the house.
• That's been a chronic problem every season.
• They talked about TV shows. YAWN!
• Caleb talked about himself.
• No surprise there!
• Derrick thinks that tonight's HoH might be a cliffhanger endurance comp.
• Others are leaning towards Questions and Answers.
• I'm not sure. They aren't building the most extensive of sets as they only shut the yard down at about 7pm ET yesterday.
• They lamented that BB won't give them any liquor and is stingy with the beer and wine.
• Caleb again said he's over Amber.
• If he were truly over Amber, he'd stop mentioning he's over Amber!
• Devin told Victoria he had a DUI and went to jail.
• We know that's true.
• Caleb talked more about Amber, Amber and Cody, how he won't save Amber again, Amber, Amber, Amber.

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Thursday into the evening - July 16

Is Southern California that cold?

I can't really complain -- at least this bunch of hamsters aren't jumping in bed with people they've known for a few weeks or walking around half undressed all the time. Perhaps a demographic of the audience misses that stuff, but I don't! That said, it's been pretty boring in that Big Brother House of We All Know Who's Going Home:

• Derrick and Cody's final two alliance is now the Hitmen after a big discussion.
• @@
• Don't get me wrong -- I like both of them, but ...!
• In a talk with us (while alone in the HoH room), Derrick told us the only alliances he's loyal to are Team America and the Hitmen (Cody).
• While he's loyal to Team America, he's not really anywhere near as close with Donny and Frankie as he is with Cody.
• That last was me saying it. But Derrick might as well be saying it.
• Am I bad for making my cat dance every time the fish cam and theme music come on?
• Christine raised a fuss about her missing bible. I wonder what happened to there just being one bible in the house. Now it seems that everyone has one, whether they're religious or not.
• Ohhh! BB gave them Big Brother red Solo cups and cozies for them! Be still my fluttering heart. So exciting! I can hardly contain myself here!
• Caleb told Derrick that whoever wins HoH needs to put Amber and Frankie on the block.
• Why? So she will be beholden to him for saving her again?
• He says he's tired of her.
• I doubt it. 
• He sees her talking to Cody and Brittany all the time. 
• And ... she's not talking to CALEB, the love of her life!
• Caleb and Derrick discussed targets for next week. Jocasta or Victoria seem the most likely. If they can take out Jocasta, that would break up the Donny/Jocasta duo.
• Of course, it's all going to depend on who wins the HoHs, the BotB, Veto ...
• It's all so complicated this season!
• In other thrilling edge-of-the-seat news, Hayden claims he's never burped in his life.
• I can't wait until the doldrums are over tomorrow night!

Big Brother 16: Power of Veto show blog party - July 16

Good evening, hamster fans! As tonight's show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this post with the major happenings. To see the latest, please refresh the page! But, as always, the REAL party is in the comments area -- come join us!

Oh, wait ... I forgot they vanished Nicole in a cliffhanger the other night! When the hamsters are allowed back in the house after the BotB, Nicole is in there in a frog costume.

After the comp, Jocasta is sick. Caleb tells Amber he threw the comp. She's not impressed. He needs to STOP his obsession. She is NOT interested!

Oh, no ... Stalker Caleb -- she likes CODY, not YOU.

Derrick wants one of his boyz to win PoV and take Caleb off the block. Cody thinks maybe Caleb should go if Devin doesn't go up. Derrick agrees.

Donny on his Team America mission, tells Nicole that PaoPao told him that Zach is Amanda's cousin, asks her to check it out with Christine for her opinion. Derrick tells Caleb, he tells Amber. Then they tell Zach. Zach goes and tells the others he's her cousin. Mission accomplished!

Jocasta is still sick as they start to pick players for PoV. Her bowtie sits atop a pillow in her place. Only five will play. Derrick picks Christine from the bag. Caleb picks Devin (oh no!), Derrick picks Donny on Jocasta's behalf. Cody is chosen as host.

Derrick is worried that Donny is still with Devin. Donny isn't showing his cards as he doesn't think Derrick tells him his moves.

Floater or physical threat mission for Team America next week. Which do we want to see them get on the block.

Derrick puts on war paint for the comp, as does Caleb. Devin works out.

Time for the veto comp! Cody looks good in his host outfit! The backyard is set up like a gambling casino. They have to challenge each other in tumbling dice, returning to the platform with the correct number on top of the dice. They can choose who they want to challenge.

Christine challenges Devin first. Devin wins. Christine out.
Derrick challenges Devin.  Devin wins. Derrick out.
Donny challenges ... Devin. DONNY WINS! Devin out.
Last round is Donny vs. Caleb. DONNY WINS THE POWER OF VETO!

Donny, Brittany and Frankie all go to Jocasta's sick bed to tell that she's not going home. Tears fly.

Devin cries. Boo hoo hoo.

Time for the veto meeting. Donny saves Jocasta. We don't get to hear the speeches from Jocasta and Caleb. Shame as the hamsters talked about Jocasta's speech on the live feeds!

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Tuesday night into Wednesday - July 16

Is this what you really want? Oh noes! I'm mixing Lorne Malvo from Fargo with Devin from BB! Well, yeah. We do want you to go. We're sick of hearing your pity party about your daughter when you admitted you hadn't even seen her for three months prior to going on the show. I bet I'm right in thinking all of the other parents on the show saw their children up to the moment they left to go into the Habitrail. Truth be told, I liked the Lorne Malvo character better. He was more entertaining. Well, in a killer kind of way.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of the Long Wait:

• Amber is worried that if Hayden or Donny win HoH, she'll be put on the block.
• She's right at least with Hayden.
• Zach is still going with the "related to Amanda" ruse. That should be fun on the show!
• Caleb told Frankie he plans to fast for the rest of the week (until the Have Nots can eat again). Amber thinks Caleb is a very picky eater.
• I can understand that if he is. Tripe, anyone?
• My dude Donny needs to watch out. Victoria and Zach have both mentioned him as a target.
• In reality, I think Victoria is the next target the house on the whole will focus upon.
• Victoria might think she and Nicole are really close, but Nicole doesn't think the same way. She likes Hayden, Christine and Donny the best.
• Nicole still feels horrible about putting Donny on the block although Donny seems so over it.
• Zach would like to see Frankie gone because he's playing a much better game.
• I'm not sure about that. Yeah, everybody likes Frankie -- he's entertaining. But most are getting to the point where they know he can't be trusted.
• Devin told Caleb he felt he had to campaign to stay, but he didn't badmouth Caleb to sway the vote.
• He's being honest about that. He hasn't badmouthed Caleb, just went on and on and on and on about himself, thus putting the other hamsters in a trance.
• Hmm. Now, this is disturbing. Nicole and Christine (super-allies) pinky-sweared that they will vote out Caleb. This would create distrust in the house and others would think it was Donny and Jocasta with the odd votes.

• Caleb is still jealous that Cody spends so much time with Amber.

• Who are the tightest couples in the house right now? I'd say either Derrick/Cody or Nicole/Hayden or Nicole/Christine. I'd add Donny and Jocasta in there, but Donny seems to be playing a very solo game. You can't always read him, but know he sees everything.
• Devin, alone in the Have Not room with Caleb, told him he knows that he's going home and would have no reason to lie to him -- "Amber is bad for your game, dude."
• Truer words were never spoken.
• Surprising many, Zach admitted to watching BB2 and liking Dr. Will. Since he at times can look a bit like Will with even funkier hair and it's evident that at times he's trying to model his game after him a bit ... I don't know why they're surprised.
• Derrick, Zach, Cody, Christine and Frankie have a new alliance name -- The Detonators.
• Dang, they're almost all still up!
