Big Brother 17: Live Feeds Sunday into the Evening - July 12

Not quite a puppetmaster

Gee, another fun Sunday in that Big Brother House of Harried Hamsters:
  • Meg and James came to the realization that, once again, Audrey is not going to go on the block.
  • James vowed to nominate her and get her out if he can get HoH.
  • At this point, Audrey should be able to float through to the end as the biggest target who never gets nominated.
  • That said, I'm fine with Jeff going.
  • He bugs me.
  • He says "dude" too often. He regularly picks at his shoulder pimples.
  • Gamewise, he's too cocky. He plays pretty much everyone in the house, telling lies and doesn't think anyone notices.
  • Wait! It's the next twist! Jeff IS Audrey!
  • Ahem.
  • The various Gronk Party takeovers continued with dancing, conga lines, hot tub, etc.
  • If they don't join the party, they're Have Nots next week.
  • At least, that's the threat.
  • After Vanessa lit into Jeff, he now realizes he's in deep doo-doo this week.
  • Aw, poor dude.
  • He keeps thinking he can reason and/or apologize his way out of trouble with Vanessa.
  • Vanessa says that there's nothing he can say to change her mind.
  • Although they're not letting on to Jeff, most of the house know he will be going on the block and we're probably going to end up with yet another house vote.
  • So darn exciting, these practically unanimous votes.
  • Not.

Look into my eyes

Don't look at my eyes or my teeth

The kid has facial hair stuff going on

The smartest dumb guy in the house

All is catching up with Jeff

He needs to stop picking at pimples!

Gronk Party or die

Bug Brother 17: Nominations, Battle of the Block Show Blog Party - July 12

Big Brother 11 Blog Logo photo BB-09-smJackieMA28497852-0002.gif

Good evening! Ready for a blog party?

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

The show is actually starting on time despite golf. Recap time for the opening.

Austin vows that Judas is the HoH. Vanessa is thrilled that she and her ally Austin are the dual HoH ... for now. And the twins talk goes on. Lizia hopes to work with Vanessa for safety. Julia reveals herself to Vanessa. Of course, Vanessa wants to work with her supposed buddies, Chelli, and tells them about the twins.

Austin, the closest friend of the twins in the house, is dumbfounded that they're twins. They hope to keep them in for a six person alliance once both are allowed to play.

Meg thinks the target is sure to be Audrey. She doesn't want to be a pawn again. Jason too is sure Audrey will go. Jeff thinks it will be Audrey while James is worried that he might be in trouble.

Austin and Vanessa think that Jeff might be a better target.

Who wants to see my HoH room? False thrills.

The twins switch and Liz reenters the house to her new allies -- Austin,Vanessa, Shelli and Clay. Foolishly, they decide to try to keep fooling the rest of the house that there aren't twins. They already know! Sheesh.

Johnny Mac, a dentist by trade, notices that one twin has a crown on her number nine tooth. Jeff runs to Austin to tell him that rumor has it that Liz is a twin.

Austin thinks they should backdoor either James or Jeff. They discuss putting pawns up. They offer him a safety deal through to ten people. Of course, he's asked to throw the comp once again.

Nominations time! Austin wears his Judas hat. He nominates Meg and Jason. He says that Meg was called out by Da'Vonne and needs to prover herself, Jason save yourself. Bigger plan. Vanessa nominates James and John. James, a game move. Johnny Mac, crush the competition.

Meg is SO MAD. Poor pawnie gal. Austin talks to them both. He tells them that Audrey is the backdoor plan. Austin wears his Judas hat.

Battle of the Block time -- Gronk's Amazing Foam Party. The spectators have alcohol. They have to retrieve party people's clothes from a maze inside a huge pool of foam. Then they must match up the item to the person. James is doing so poorly that John really doesn't have to work at throwing it.

Meg and Jason win BoB, Austin is dethroned.

Big Brother 17: Live Feeds into Sunday Dawn - July 12

Not presently a target, for now

Good morning, hamster watchers! Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Can You Limbo Lower, How Low Can You Go?:
  • Oh my gosh, just put him up on the block and tell him, "It sucks to be you or to be around you. You're on the block!"
  • The whole night was spent with Vanessa talking to one person after another when all she (and Austin) want to do is put Jeff on the block to replace John when John takes himself off with the veto.
  • Ad nauseam
  • I bet you thought I didn't know my Latin, huh?
  • Lots of heart to heart full of game strategy talks.
  • Jason says that the game is a lot more fun to watch at home than to be in the house. The game is their lives while in the house.
  • Well, duh.
  • That's why most people with common sense would never go inside there!
  • While a bunch of them bad-talked each other (Audrey talked about Jason betraying her, etc.), Jeff is still the focus.
  • As people are being individually talked to in the HoH Room, Jeff continued to trash Audrey.
  • He thinks Audrey is the target.
  • She's not.
  • Jason said to others that it really doesn't make any difference to them that Audrey's transgendered -- there are a million of them around -- but her gameplay makes them want her out.
  • Steve is relieved that there's no one like Nicole this season. He wouldn't want a crush on a girl in the house.
  • Austin told Vanessa that he thinks there might be a special deal for Jeff and Jackie due to TAR.
  • Jeff is the target, yet the pussyfooting around went on most of the night.
  • Vanessa did do some strategic talking, for sure.
  • She told Clay that Jeff had been working against him while supposedly working with him.
  • Later, when confronted by Clay about it, Jeff claimed it to be a strategy move to expose others.
  • @@
  • There was a Gronk Party alert ... they had to make togas for a toga party.
  • Woot woot
  • Jason thinks he's the "straightest gay man" ever on Big Brother.
  • Oh, give me a break.
  • The questioning went on and on.
  • And on.
  • Another Gronk Party alert! It's a Limbo Party!
  • Woot woot
  • Finally, Austin and Vanessa talked to Jeff, bringing up the lies and how he's thrown Austin under the bus. And, Clay, too.
  • I don't care about Clay. He can actually go away.
  • I'm not really thrilled with Austin. I expected better gameplay from him.
  • The PoV Ceremony shouldn't be until tomorrow.
  • Although Jeff is trying to talk his way out of his woes, I cannot see him NOT going up in place of John.
  • We'll see.

Twins twist fail

I want to know how cold it really is there!

Audrey is so color-coordinated

Johnny Mac can indeed relax

Limbo party!

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was - July 12

Good Sunday morning to everybody! I hope the sun is shining and it's not too hot for comfort wherever you might be. This is my weekly off television topic reflection on the past week in both words and photographs I've taken along the way.

If you're looking for Big Brother television show or live feeds content, you can find all of those posts at this link right here. I have a live feeds report from the overnight happenings in progress and expect to be posting it shortly. This particular off television topic photo post that you're reading right now is posted every Sunday morning throughout the whole year. BB is only three months. (Although sometimes it seems like an eternity!) You can feel free to skip this post. My feelings won't be hurt.

WAH!

Er, never mind. I was just doing that for attention!

It's been a rather typical July week here in New Jersey -- heat, humidity, rain, rinse, repeat. Today is supposed to be over 90 degrees with high humidity. Ick. I have no plans to go anywhere. I'll stay in my air conditioning, thank you very much!

The past week was rather uneventful. Work, work, work. Sigh. That's another reason for no real plans today -- a day of relaxation, reading, music ... I have excellent restful diversions at hand. Plus, maybe even a nap!

About the only real thing I can think of to report from the past week is that the Plainfield Police finally seem to be cracking down on the drinking homeless, transient, bums, street people (although I'm sure many do have somewhere to be other than drinking in public) at the Plainfield Train Station. I saw one cop telling those using the electric outlets on the platform to charge their cell phones to move along. And, twice I've seen them yell at the drinking bunch on the benches to move along. Yay!

Without further ado, onto the photos for this week. Clicking on an image will bring up a larger version.

Japanese beetle up close and personal

I didn't realize until I watched this one that they cut or rip strips of the leaf off and then eat the pieces. I always thought they just chomped directly on the leaves.

Eek! A wild animal headed my way!

Is it a BEAR?!?! No? Perhaps a COYOTE!?!?! No? Oh. It's a rabbit. Cancel the alert, please. East Second Street, Plainfield.

Big Brother 17: Live feeds into Saturday Evening, PoV - July 11

Mutt and Jeff (not THAT Jeff)

Here's the latest skinny from inside that Big Brother House of Twinnie:
  • My apologies for the above. I've had a long, tiring day.
  • The twins from The Amazing Race will NOT be showing up!
  • Becky is paranoid about being backdoored.
  • She has more of a chance of being hit by speeding locomotive and living to tell the tale.
  • Oh, wait. That has happened.
  • She thinks that she's unintentionally floating and needs to pick an alliance to join.
  • They're all still abuzz about twins.
  • Vanessa told Austin she doesn't think Clay is loyal.
  • Y'think?
  • It's sad that BB has to tell the hamsters to clean the bathroom.
  • Austin is ticked that Lizia has been hanging around James, sleeping in his bed.
  • (No, no hook-ups in the house so far.)
  • "Sleeping with our two biggest targets!"
  • It's actually Liz who's bugging him. He told Julia all about it when they switched.
  • They were able to drink in yesterday's BoB comp and there were some kind of technical problems which forced them to re-do it.
  • The three chosen to play with Vanessa and the nominees for veto were Audrey, Austin and Shelli.
  • Audrey is paranoid.
  • Oh, wait. She said she was paranoid before.
  • She still is. She's an odd duck.
  • The feeds went down again for the PoV comp.
  • Guess who won?
  • That Johnny Mac again!
  • Now the big dilemma is how to gracefully put Jeff on the block and get him voted out.

Breakfast of champions

All made up, nowhere to go

That smile needs to be wiped away!

How to handle this now ...

Big Brother 17: Live Feeds into Saturday - July 11

The Chess Kings

Well, it's Gronk Week in the house. Here's the latest from that Big Brother House of "Life's just a party and parties weren't made to last" (thanks, Prince):
  • That feeds block for the Battle of the Block was exasperatingly long last night. Was that length necessary?
  • After the feeds finally returned, the outcome was one which had been planned all along -- John and James lost and remain on the block while Vanessa remains the HoH.
  • Meg and Jason are safe.
  • Technically, Austin isn't safe. But he's safe nonetheless as he's working with Vanessa. She wouldn't put him up as a replacement nominee. At least, not at this point in the game.
  • Once again, John says he really didn't have to work to throw the comp as his partner (James this time) did so poorly.
  • While blocked to the live feeds, we do get bits and pieces about the comp from conversations. This one had something to do with a maze and bubbles.
  • Austin has now decided that Clay must be a twin and is trying to come up with small differences.
  • @@
  • It seems the hamsters were given alcohol during our blocked feeds. Jason mentioned they didn't get any alcohol at all last week.
  • Aw, poor little rodents.
  • Jason, knowing he's now safe, really doesn't want to be chosen to play in the Power of Veto.
  • Audrey, thinking she could be the target despite reassurances from Vanessa that she's not, wants to play. If she wins it and doesn't use it, she'd be safe without a worry.
  • Jeff thinks Audrey's the target.
  • Unbeknownst to him, HE himself is the target.
  • I don't mind that at all.
  • Steve told Lizia that it's a waste to try to pretend not to be twins at this point.
  • He's right.
  • Everyone knows.
  • Steve might just have found himself an alliance home -- working with Vanessa and Austin.
  • Vanessa told him that Audrey isn't the target, despite the rumors they're spreading through the house.
  • Jeff is the real target with James as the alternate Plan B.
  • I myself am a bit leery about Austin working with Steve. Prior to this, Steve was one of his pet peeves.
  • His new alliance is already lying to him about when both twins can enter the house.
  • And, after Steve left them along, Vanessa warned Austin to be careful what he says because Steve catches and remembers everything.
  • So, we have a shaky alliance. Maybe it will improve. At least Steve isn't the lone wolf cub anymore.
  • He doesn't seem old enough to be a lone wolf. He must be a cub.
  • Audrey told Jeff that she's a martyr, not a villain.
  • Oh, the drama of Audrey! The more I see of her, the less I see evil. I see drama. It's a good thing she works from home in real life.
  • Austin, the big mastermind of "conceal the twin twist," doesn't think Lizia is working hard enough at it.
  • Doesn't he realize EVERYBODY IN THE HOUSE KNOWS?!?!
  • Sheesh.
  • So, there ya go.
  • May Jeff nor Audrey win the Power of Veto ...!

Wanted a relaxation week

Big Brother 17: Live Feeds BoB Update - July 10

As planned, John threw it.

Austin was dethroned.

Vanessa remains HoH, John and James on the block.

As planned ...

Big Brother 17: Live Feeds Friday Daytime, Nominations - July 10

Putting up pawns isn't easy

I so wish they never thought of Battle of the Block. I can't believe Allison Grodner had the nerve to call it a "fan favorite twist." It makes the game predictable as each week, pawns go up, a pawn comes down, the sheeple vote for the same target now in place. Yawn. Here's what went down today in that Big Brother House of Predictable Pawning:
  • Jeff is this week's target.
  • Now, I have nothing against them targeting Jeff. He's getting on my nerves.
  • But, is he going on the block?
  • Nuh-uh.
  • They're putting up pawns.
  • Vanessa nominated John and James while Austin nominated Meg and Jason.
  • The plan is for Meg and Jason to win BotB, keep Vanessa as HoH and John/James on the block.
  • If veto and all fall through, James will go home.
  • He's only pawnish.
  • Vanessa and Austin are telling everyone that the plan is to backdoor Audrey.
  • They're telling Audrey that's not the plan, that's just what they're telling people.
  • Austin told his pawns that Steve was his target.
  • Vanessa told her pawns that Audrey was her target.
  • Both are really targeting Jeff.
  • Jason is not happy. He said the same people will end up going up week after week.
  • Yup.
  • Meanwhile, Jeff is prancing about acting like he hasn't a care in the world.
  • But, with the way these idiot hamsters talk, I'm sure word will get to him before it all comes down.
  • Austin told John he should throw the comp by faking an injury.
  • John once again said he didn't throw the last comp -- Da'Vonne's strategy was horrible and he just followed along.
  • As I get this posted, the BotB has had the live feeds blocked for going on three hours. When I find out, you'll find out.

Putting up pawns isn't easy

Meg, Pawn Girl

I'm a pawn AGAIN?

You say I'm a pawn?

Shower pawn

Big Brother 17: Live Feeds into Friday - July 10

At least she's not hanging all over a guy

At least this week should be better than watching Shelli and Clay in their layabout modes in the HoH room. Here's what's happened into the wee hours inside that Big Brother House of Who's Gonna Be on the Block:
  • I'm not the only person who has no clue who Gronk is -- most of the hamsters are clueless.
  • Clay certainly knows.
  • They know it was Audrey voting for Da'Vonne to stay. After all, she's burnt most her bridges.
  • Of course, they already knew before the vote that Jason would vote to keep her and all were okay with that.
  • Me? I'm sick of this voting with the house stuff. Stupid sheeple! The house votes make this boring!
  • Austin told Jeff that Audrey and Steve were the targets this week.
  • What happened to his James plan?
  • All the applause for Da'Vonne confused the hamsters.
  • Huh. Maybe we liked her. Maybe she was actually an interesting player.
  • Jason is sure he'll be on the block again while Meg says she would be willing to be a pawn again.
  • Maybe she will be ... and maybe she'll go home this time.
  • Who wants to see our HoH room?
  • Bah. Who really cares? It's still the same bed that Chelli was all over all last week even though they didn't do the deed.
  • Vanessa and Austin talked about splitting up the other alliance(s).
  • As possible nominees, Vanessa tossed out the J names -- James, Jason or Jeff with Jeff being the target out of those.
  • Hmm ... is it too good to be true? Is Steven really not a target this week? They kind of eliminate him as they talk.
  • Unfortunately (for my likes), they both want to work with Chelli.
  • They think it's better that Vanessa keeps the HoH this week so Austin can play next week.
  • Believe it or not, Audrey is NOT the target this week. Vanessa even told her she's safe this week.
  • They think by keeping her around, the target won't be on them.
  • That kind of thinking could keep her in the game until the end.
  • Silly hamsters.
  • Vanessa and Austin scheme to cover identifying marks which distinguish the twins apart.
  • @@
  • It's not like the whole house doesn't already know!
  • Liz told Austin and Vanessa that Julia (yes, they know them apart and talk now) hates Jeff.
  • Austin claims he'll be Jeff's best buddy, then stab him in the back.
  • Now, that wouldn't bother me.
  • Meanwhile, Jeff is so sure that Steve will get the boot this week.
  • Heh. Shelli had to change the dress she wore for the show last night because it was too low-cut.
  • Leave it to Johnny Mac to notice the difference in the twins' teeth. He can tell them apart in a single smile.
  • But he doesn't know Julia's name. He's not privy to the inside info from Austin/Vanessa.
  • Jeff pushed his Steve Must Go Agenda on Austin.
  • Little does he know, he's more likely to go than Steve is this week.
  • Well, at this early stage of the week, anyway.
  • Jason pronounces Audrey as Autry. Like Gene Autry. (Google that if you wish.)
  • James told Jeff he would never vote for him to go.
  • I hope he had his fingers crossed as he said it.
  • The latest plan is to backdoor Jeff with a James backdoor as Plan B.
  • Austin, Vanessa and Liz want to form a side alliance with Steve, naming it Freaks and Geeks.
  • Hopefully Steve is indeed safe this week.
  • I wouldn't shed any tears if Jeff goes.

Austin has vowed that James must go

The twin is in the in crowd

Learning to be better pawns?

Keep the shirt ON, please

Wants a relaxation week

Big Brother 17: Live Eviction, HoH Show Blog Party

Big Brother 11 Blog Logo photo BB-09-smJackieMA28497852-0002.gif

Good evening! Ready for a blog party? Will the winner of the Last Laugh be able to actually affect the vote tonight? (Shh ... we know who won it, but not everybody follows the live feeds.) Who will be the new HoH? (Anybody but Clay, please.)

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

But, first ... let's remind folks of the blog pool standings (thanks go to ORKMommy!):

Audrey - David, Chase, Orkmommy, Nicole K
Austin - Petals, Tammy, marthalight, Dr_Celine
Becky - Glenn, Jackie, Indiana Jane, Brian
Clay - FairieGoddess0714, QuixoticElf, DonnaNY, JonMD1267
Da'Vonne - jessica UNderwood, SueGee, Ed in Ohio, Nickelpeed
James - uncartie, Marlo, Jackie~juju, ML
Jason - Witt, Sharon, WolfpackRed
John - Sasha, lynn1, clover
Liz - Skyriverblue, jo Chapman, monty924
Meg - Sharon S, Merrilee, MikesGirl
Shelli - Delee, Sharon N, chrob
Steve - KelseyNY, Carrie, K
Vanessa - Chacha, Heather Reyes, T-Town Chick
EVICTED:
Jace - Becky in TX, CherylinNC, JOKATS, CaelaXO
Let's get this party started!

Recap first, of course. Now I'm hearing loud thunder here. If I vanish, it's power related. Aw, Shelli is crying because she's sending Da'Vonne home. Her choice all along, of course. Too bad, so sad for her.

BB Takeover time! A phone booth is set up in the house. Kathy will call with 15 tips, only one will prevent three people from casting a vote this week. Jason gets a tip to be less annoying. On and on. Lose weight, less sun. Da'Vonne gets the 7th call and wins the Last Laugh.

Day goes around campaigning for votes. Audrey even agreed to vote to keep her (for her own nefarious reasons).

New England Patriots "Rock" is throwing the next BB Takeover. I don't follow football so I have no clue how to spell his last name.

Onto Lizia segment. Da'Vonne has them figured out and tells Jason. Jason tells Jeff, James and a bunch of others. Now everybody knows. Da'Vonne tries to work it for a vote.

Da'Vonne decided earlier today who to block. Julie reveals the blocked voters -- Becky, Jeff and Jackie. They have to go to the dining room. It isn't revealed who won the power.

Final pleading time --
Da'Vonne - Strong people, pack of cowards in control of the house, loves Meg, Jason, I will protect you. Meg will be the beautiful pawn next to you next week if you keep her.
Meg - Loves you, please keep me in, all looking so hot tonight.

The votes to evict:
Jason -- Meg
Clay -- Da'Vonne
John -- Da'Vonne
Audrey -- Meg
Into commercial ...
Austin -- Da'Vonne
Liz -- Da'Vonne
Vanessa -- Da'Vonne
James -- Da'Vonne
Steve -- Da'Vonne

SHEEPLE! Da'Vonne is evicted. Sigh.

Rob Gronkowski (sp?) Gronk? Who the hell is this? I don't watch football. Takeover. No Have Nots. Likes winners, get to the backyard right now for the HoH comp.

Into commercial (while I Google the football dude) ... I spelled it right! I spelled it right! I still have no clue who he is. I know Tom Brady is cute. That's all I know of New England Patriots football players.

Looks like a giant beer pong game. They have to catapult balls into the cups, each cup has a value, blues are the highest point. Top two win.

Liz - 23
Jackie - 0 eliminated
John - 0 eliminated
James - 23
Audrey - 17
Clay - 6
Jeff - 14
Becky - 0 eliminated
Austin - 28
Jason - 0 eliminated
Meg - 1
Steve - 0 eliminated
Vanessa - 23

Three-way tie Vanessa, Liz and James.

Liz - 22
James - 35
Vanessa - 52

Vanessa and Austin are the new HoHs!

My next live feeds update won't be posted until early morning (East Coast time) as I'll need fodder for posting!

Bug Brother 17: Live Feeds Overnight into Thursday - July 9

Jason can finally eat!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Misfit Malcontents:
  • Jason gave twerking lessons to Meg and Steve in the bathroom.
  • I don't make these things up.
  • I'm glad no one decided to give Donny twerking lessons last season.
  • Shelli thinks Audrey keeps showing up when others are in the HoH to spy on them.
  • Audrey told Jeff that Steve said he won't sleep with her because she's a girl. She thinks he just doesn't like her. Jeff told her it's because of his (Steve's) concern for his image.
  • I think he's also leery of her.
  • Bur he isn't sleeping in the same bed as any girls so far.
  • Yet another podcast went down despite some not being too enthusiastic about it being a nightly event.
  • Remember, supposedly Audrey is going to save Da'Vonne and Day is willing to work with the devil to get the save.
  • We'll see what happens with that.
  • Audrey's not as influential on the others since her sneaky ways were exposed.
  • Da'Vonne told Audrey she had six votes to stay, but wouldn't name names. After all, they all want Audrey out next week.
  • The deal is that, if Da'Vonne stays and wins HoH next week, Audrey is safe.
  • It might be a real deal. Audrey knows that the entire house wants her out next week. Da'Vonne staying might be her only hope.
  • The twins are totally blown apart. Julia admitted to Vanessa that they exist and that Da'Vonne is the one who figured it out and spread the knowledge around.
  • She also gave her name.
  • They'll always be Lizia to me.
  • Vanessa told Chelli. Now they want to work with Lizia.
  • They think that if both twins enter the house, that's another number for their side.
  • They do have to last through the first five evictions, though.
  • It looks like Da'Vonne is still running short of votes to stay. She'll probably be evicted tonight.
  • Of course, they like to be sheeple. She may only have Jason's vote.
  • We'll see.

Audrey doing her Audrey thing

Tonight she'll either stay or go

Gotta love the sink cam

Big Brother 17: Live Feeds into Wednesday Evening - July 8

Reciting the days and strategizing

Yo, save your drama for your Mama! That, of course, would be Da'Vonne ... Mama Day. It seems like they are saving it for her. Here's the latest from today in that Big Brother House of Discomfort:
  • After I thought he had headed to bed, Steven returned to the backyard and talked to us about his strategy -- he wants to work his way into an alliance with Shelli, Clay, et al. Sigh. He also recited each day's action, comps, winners, etc.
  • I don't think he realizes that Austin wants him out.
  • I really think he'd be better off with Jason, John and Vanessa.
  • He seriously wants to win HoH tomorrow and get Audrey out to gain house favor.
  • Meg told Shelli and Clay that Audrey was trying to stir things up.
  • What else is new?
  • Vanessa said that Audrey told her Lizia would be voting for Da'Vonne to stay.
  • Oh, Audrey, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive ...
  • Da'Vonne confronted Audrey about telling everyone she (Day) was trying to flip the house.
  • It's all a spool of lies! (Kudos to anyone who can tell the originator of that expression.)
  • Audrey double-talked and circular-talked her way with Da'Vonne.
  • Da'Vonne later confirmed with Lizia that she (Liz) did say she owed Da'Vonne because of the save in the fast forward, but did NOT say 100% that she was voting to keep her.
  • Shelli thinks Jeff is a male Audrey.
  • Heh.
  • Austin continued his anti-Steve talk.
  • And yet Steve thinks he might want to get in an alliance with him? Oy!
  • Audrey fussed to Shelli that Da'Vonne "ripped her head off."
  • Nah, she didn't. She just didn't believe any of the lies Audrey told to cover the lies she told others.
  • The pressure is getting to Da'Vonne. She cried. Sigh.
  • They got a chance to practice for the HoH comp. It involved rolling a ball down a chute and catapulting it into a trash can.
  • Of course, the real comp should be a bit more elaborate.
  • Well, unless they're in a budget crisis, that is.
  • Lizia told Shelli that she's indeed voting for Da'Vonne to go.
  • Now, I refer to her as Lizia as I'm not sure which twin is which. While the hamsters have the twin twist figured out, they don't know the name of the twin.
  • They decided to have a womens night in the house tonight. Oh, yeah. What fun.
  • Jason said that he might have to self-evict if the podcast show goes on nightly all summer.
  • Heh.
  • Audrey continues to stir things up.
  • Shelli told Becky and Jackie that Audrey said they were voting to keep Da'Vonne.
  • And, get this ... Audrey told Da'Vonne she wants her to stay. She wants Da'Vonne to promise her safety next week if she wins HoH.
  • Da'Vonne obviously can't believe a word she's saying.
  • After all, it's AUDREY.
  • Da'Vonne tells the cameras that if working with Audrey is what it takes to stay in the game, that's it.
  • We'll see.
  • After all, it's AUDREY.

Things not quite as easy as planned

I don't find him attractive now

Losing these two wouldn't bother me

Da'Vonne calls out Audrey AGAIN

What a tangled web we weave ...

HoH comp practice

Good evening! Ready for a blog party? Tonight we get to watch those silly hamsters as they vie for the Power of Veto!

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there! I'll be posting another live feeds report late this evening (late East Coast, not necessarily late West Coast).

After the BotB, Becky still thinks that the plan is to get Audrey out. Da'Vonne, whose bad strategy helped her to lose the BotB, thinks that John threw the comp. She thinks the house is working to get her out.

Ew, a bit on the Clay/Shelli showmance. Like I needed to see that.

PoV player picks time -- Shelli picks Houseguest's Choice and goes for Clay (what a shock!), John gets Meg, Da'Vonne gets Steve.

Clay went and told Audrey that she's safe this week.

Veto Comp time! It's kind of hard to explain. They listen to a list of items and, when the elevator opens, they have to figure out what's missing. It's done in rounds. John against Da'Vonne first. John wins the round and Da'Vonne is out. John chooses Steve who goes against Clay. Clay wins. Meg goes against Shelli. She plans on throwing it. Heh. Shelli brings the wrong item and is eliminated. John goes against Meg. She finally could throw the comp. The last round is John and Clay. John wins the PoV!

Clay continues to dominate the Shelli HoH. Shelli tells Becky she wants Day out. And, if she puts Audrey against her, Audrey will go home. They have to convince Becky that Day out this week, she can have a shot at Audrey next week.

Chelli wants to have John not use the veto. If he does, they need to come up with a pawn who nobody would vote out over Da'Vonne. They talk to John about not using the veto. He may sound like a dumb guy, but John says NO.

Shelli tells Liz she plans on putting her up as a pawn. Liz is scared. Austin would like to get a movement going to get Meg up as the pawn, not Liz. Austin goes to Shelli and tells her that no one would vote Meg out, but Liz might be a different case.

Veto meeting time. John, of course, saves himself. Shelli puts Meg on the block.

Everyone loves Meg. Da'Vonne vows to stay. We'll see.
