Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Sunday Into the Evening - Aug. 5

His Spiritard zipper is still broken

Surprise, surprise ... all has been re-waffled since my last report. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Indecisiveness:
  • Ian loved sleeping in his doghouse ... probably his best night's sleep in a month.
  • Frank decided he can't work out in his Spiritard because he hasn't another one to change to if he gets sweaty and it "blasts his junk."
  • Ian got on the show the old-fashioned way. He went to a casting call.
  • As opposed to Jenn who somehow got picked by her Facebook page and didn't have a clue about the show.
  • No, BB ... don't even LOOK at my FB page. I'd rather mock hamsters than be one!
  • Danielle thinks that she and Shane are powerhouses like Brendon and Rachel.
  • @@
  • As Britney, Dan and Danielle sat in the HoH room, Britney once again said she thinks they ought to boot Frank this week.
  • As opposed to the late night boot Janelle plan that Danielle and Shane loved when Boogie proposed it.
  • Of course, we know that Dan wants to keep the coaches to help maintain his own safety.
  • Dan once again pointed out that if Frank goes, Boogie becomes virtually powerless. They have Ian, Boogie doesn't. Jenn, basically worthless anyway, also isn't a Boogie fan since he ignored all but his boy Frankie.
  • Boogie told Shane that there's no way he can work with Janelle if Frank leaves.
  • Oh, goody!
  • Ahem.
  • Boogie is still trying to work Shane for the Janelle backdoor plan.
  • Boogie also told Britney that he doesn't want to work with Ian or Jenn.
  • Well, they don't care all that much for him either.
  • Ian has a bit of a soft spot for the guy, but knows he hasn't been treated with any kind of respect from Boogie.
  • After talking with Boogie and deciding that he's just trying to protect his own game (and Frankie Boy), Britney and Dan once again bring up the issues with the Janelle boot vs. Frank boot to Shane and Danielle.
  • They do realize that Janelle wants Boogie out just about as much as Boogie wants Janelle out.
  • Danielle said she had enough. The nominations will remain the same (Wil and Frank) and Frank will go home.
  • Janelle is now working her way into the current HoH gang ... once again.
  • Both she and Boogie are playing smarmy this season. Either could go. Boogie isn't AS bad as he was in previous seasons -- he's not anything like they're showing on the show, Diary Room must be instigating that. But Janelle is SO much different than in previous seasons. :-(
  • Dan and Britney are pretty much the same as they ever were.
  • They've decided, because of the blindside move last week, they will hint to Frank that he's probably going.
  • They can't outright tell him as that's against the rules.
  • But, of course, nothing will be said or done until after the PoV meeting tomorrow.
  • Ian was released from his dog garb and ways.
  • Frank has to wear the Spiritard for a week ... or, up until his (probable) eviction on Thursday night.
  • In the latest talk, Britney is a bit ticked at her boy Shane as he told Frank that it was Britney pushing to put him up last week.
  • Well, it was.

Big Brother 14: HoH Results, Nominations Show Blog Party - Aug. 5

BB12 Blogo 3

Welcome aboard the Good Ship Blog Party! Now, if you've been following the live feeds and/or the reports I write up here, you already know who won the HoH Endurance Comp on Thursday night. If not, you're in for a surprise!

As the show airs here in the Northeast, I'll be updating this entry with the major happenings. However, as always, the real fun is in the comments area. Come join in with your comments!

After the inevitable recapping of previous events, it's to the HoH endurance. We all know that all but Boogie hit the button, but Britney and Janelle are denying it. Britney tells us she hit it because she had no chance to win as a coach with one player left. Janelle told us she just wants to win. Dan loves to play the game. Boogie just wanted to coach this year.

Boogie jumped out first. Then Jenn. Then Joe. Then Ashley at near two hours. Dan shortly after. Frank out. Boogie told him that Dan had told just before the comp that Frank had been the target.

Danielle promised to keep Wil safe. Wil and Shane jump at the same time. Janelle jumped figuring Britney looked solid and would have her back. Over three hours into it, Ian jumps after being guaranteed safety, then Britney the same. Danielle wins HoH!

She wants to put Boogie and Frank on the block so that one will go home. Dan, thinking of himself wanting all the coaches in still to make him a lesser target, is pushing for a Wil/Frank nom.

Nominations time! The key order: Britney, Ian, Dan, Janelle, Jenn, Shane, Ashley, Joe, Boogie. She went with Dan's nominations -- Wil and Frank.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Report into Sunday Morning - Aug. 5

Bubble bath time!

Are you ready for your Sunday morning waffles? What started out as a funny but rather boring costumed after PoV comp night took yet a new twist. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Changing Tides:
  • Ian is still taking to his costume well. He needs to be kept on the leash whenever outside of his little dog house enclosure in the yard.
  • Frank proved too busty for his Spiritard. The back zipper broke and no one is on staff to fix it until Monday morning.
  • Thus, Frank is in a half-Spiritard.
  • But that's not the big news.
  • The big news is that Boogie got out of his slump and into the game once again.
  • Y'see, both he and Janelle excel at mind tricks and deception.
  • Britney and Dan, on the other hand, are more into figuring out mind games and deception than they are at practicing it.
  • But, like the Godfather himself, Boogie offered up a scenario which is hard to refuse.
  • His idea? Join forces, Danielle use the veto to pull Frank off the block and ... wait for it ... wait for it ...
  • Put Janelle on the block and get her out this week.
  • Dan is skeptical of the plan as he knows how Boogie works.
  • Shane and Danielle have drank the Kool-Aid and feel that Janelle would definitely target them next week.
  • Britney doesn't really trust either Boogie or Janelle.
  • There do seem to be more good points to this plan than bad -- Boogie and Frank working with DSDB is safer than them working against them.
  • Danielle really dislikes Janelle.
  • Janelle is playing super shady with her lies and mind games this season and isn't loyal to anyone but herself.
  • Boogie is right when he said he's stuck to his alliances.
  • Janelle stands a better chance to win a comp than either Frank or Boogie, neither of which has performed all that well in comps.
  • Dan, although skeptical of Boogie, decided they need to add Ian in the mix. Ian was NOT brought up by Boogie in his HoH talk with them.
  • But Dan is really gung-ho on getting Ian aboard.
  • So they (DSDB) talked to Ian. His role is more of a double agent within a single alliance. DSDB will be more faithful to Ian than to either Boogie or Frank. Ian will be privy to the inner circle of the group and not share with Boogie or Frank.
  • They plan to talk to Boogie and Frank to tell them they want Ian aboard with them for more numbers, but nothing about how in he really is with the group.
  • Ian already has a name planned for the alliance, but we got fish.
  • Dan is still worried that Danielle is playing personal (due to her dislike of Janelle), but is slowly coming aboard.
  • If they do team up, they would control the vote to get Janelle out.
  • Also, if they do team up, the peripheral players -- Wil, Joe, Jenn, Ashley -- would be easily expendable in the coming weeks.
  • Will they waffle again before the PoV meeting?
  • It's really looking like Janelle may be out the door early.
  • Dan is worried.
  • However, I'm privy to stuff Dan isn't. I saw Boogie and Frank talking. Boogie is apparently on board with the alliance. It isn't just a mind game -- in the end he would be betray them, but not until then.
  • I just don't know.

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was - August 5, 2012

Happy Sunday morning, world! If you're looking for Big Brother live feeds content, those posts can be found at this link right here. I posted one late last night and another will be posted later this morning. This post is my weekly off television topic reflection on the week gone by in both words and photographs I've taken. If you're here for the show, you may feel free to stay and read this ... or not.

Once again we had an incredibly uncomfortable weather week here in Plainfield, NJ. Humid, hot, sticky, rainy, stormy and just bleh! I'm SO not a fan of hot and humid weather. I hate standing still in the shade yet sweating profusely. And, no. I don't glow. I sweat. Wah! Although, I'll admit, I do enjoy a cool thunderstorm as long as I'm not caught out in it and my power remains on.

On the home front, I mentioned a week or two ago that it probably wouldn't be long before someone stole the video cameras the new landlord put at the entrances. Welp, the one from the side entrance went missing Thursday sometime between the time I left for work and returned home. The front door one is still there and I didn't bother checking the back door. I hope the jerk who stole it didn't realize it's being filmed in a locked room in the basement. I blame the riff-raff from the front section of the building.

In between going a bit bonkers between work and the BB14 live feeds reports on the blog, I've been going over my photos to submit for the Plainfield Library Photo Contest. You can submit five and I have a pretty solid four chosen so far. It's not the easiest theme for me -- Plainfield, Dining In or Dining Out. I see so many cool restaurant shots I could take through windows. But I don't want people to think I'm a creeper.

I think this weather is putting a damper on my photo taking inspiration. I didn't get many shots that I really thought were good this week. Here's the best of the ones I took:

On a fallen limb
On a limb

Although many limbs are still down from a storm the previous week, I believe this one on the lawn of the Plainfield Quaker Meeting House was actually cut.

More flowers!

Yes, there was rain. Sigh.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Saturday Evening - Aug. 4

Got snacks?

Hey, what's new in the house?

So, what's the scoop from inside that Big Brother House of Characters in Costume? Read on ...
  • Boogie remains miserable and is basically alienating himself from everyone in the house except his bro-buddy Frank.
  • Too bad, so sad.
  • Wil, who has all but burned his bridges with Janelle, did turn to Boogie to squirm his way in there.
  • But no one really trusts Wil now.
  • When Boogie loses Frank at his side, he'll probably use Wil.
  • Boogie's a loser user!
  • Meanwhile, Janelle is trying to do her own damage control with Wil. She told him that if Frank doesn't go home this week, people aren't being truthful with her.
  • Janelle told Wil she was "shocked" that he went up on the block.
  • The coaches are aware (well, maybe not Boogie) that Joe is stirring up a revolution against them.
  • Boogie is in too much of a woe is me persona to care that others are playing the game.
  • Boogie did try to talk to Danielle. She told him the nominations were hers, not to blame Dan.
  • She led him on enough for him to run back to Frank all excited about the chance to work with her. @@
  • Danielle is really surprising me as of late.
  • Of course, Boogie's worried that he'll go on the block as a replacement if someone uses the PoV.
  • Boogie doesn't think Danielle is "tight" with Britney.
  • She is.
  • She's tighter with Dan, but we all know that.
  • Frank sucked up to Dan and Danielle.
  • Too little, too late.
  • Frank said he was only joking when he talked about going after Janelle.
  • Backpedaling a lot there, kid!
  • But that's one Danielle is NOT tight with -- Janelle.
  • Even Jenn is distancing herself some from Boogie and Frank. She says all they care about is each other.
  • Maybe it's true love since Dr. Will moved on with his life leaving Boogie on the wayside like roadkill.
  • Adding to his misery, Boogie didn't even get picked to play for PoV.
  • Doesn't it just tug at your heartstrings?
  • Heh.
  • The PoV was one in which they had the alternate prizes.
  • Danielle won the PoV itself.
  • Did I mention she's surprising me of late?
  • Shane got a PoV pass to play in the next PoV.
  • Frank got a Spiritard -- sort of a cheerleader unitard.
  • Remember, usually the person in the unitard tends to get voted out and faces Julie wearing it (or a banana suit, or ...)
  • Ian took on 24 hours as a dog so that Jenn got a trip to Hawaii.
  • Ian has to wear a dog suit, drink out of a bowl, use no utensils to eat, sleep in a doghouse in the yard, be led around on a leash, etc.
  • He's taking it all in fun.
  • Dan wants him to do tricks for treats.
  • And that's where we stand.
