Big Brother 14: Live Double Eviction Show Blog Party - Aug. 23

BB12 Blogo 3

Are ya ready, hamster watchers? Tonight's whirlwind two weeks done up in an hour will probably be THE BEST episode this season! As it airs here in the NYC area, I'll post major updates in this entry. So, refresh the blog to see the latest.

However ... as always (and perhaps even more so this evening), the real fun is in the comments area. Bring beverages, snacks, male strippers, and we'll provide the company. Come watch with us and talk about the big happenings!

Julie announced the double eviction (although the hamsters already guessed it would be) -- the second evictee will go to jury. Boogie works on Joe's vote in his speech.

The live votes to evict:

Ashley - Jenn
Britney - Boogie
Joe - Boogie
Frank - Jenn
Dan - Boogie
Ian - Boogie
Danielle - Boogie

Da BOOGIE is OUT OF THE HOUSE! Woohoo!

He went out with class until he called Ian out to Frank. But the vote revealed that anyway.

The goodbye messages were great -- Britney put on a Chilltown phone act. But Ian's was the best ... he said he learned from the best and fessed up to all he did. Boogie laughed at both Britney's and Ian's messages, then said he loved Ian and gave him a tip of the hat.

More class than he's ever shown in his BB history.

HoH comp -- Before or After questions about events this summer. Ashley out. Joe, Jenn and Dan out. Frank out. Britney out. Tiebreaker -- Ian and Danielle.

IAN IS THE NEW HOH! (For a bit anyway.)

Ian nominates Frank and Ashley.

Shane, Danielle and Joe were picked to play veto with Frank, Ashley and Ian. "Somewhere Over the Veto" -- search for two clovers, then get veto, then buzz in. One clover at a time. Can you say CLOWN SHOE?

FRANK won power of veto!

He saved himself (duh!). Ian nominates Joe in his place.

Ashley thinks she was underestimated, says she is inarticulate (yes!) ... ramble, ramble. Joe does a golf swing and points to himself.

The vote to evict:

Jenn -- Ashley
Shane -- Ashley
Britney -- Ashley
Frank -- Joe
Danielle -- Ashley
Dan -- Ashley

Ashley is the first member of the jury.

They should have another HoH comp later tonight. It surely will be blocked to the feeds, but I will post when I know (if I'm not asleep). Worse case scenario, if the result is known by 6am ET, I'll have it posted here.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Wednesday Night into Thursday - Aug. 22-23

Studying

What's up in that Big Brother House of Mystery and Intrigue? Okay, not so much mystery and intrigue, I guess. More like tears, desperation and backstabbing. Read on ...
  • BB gave them a practice game for a comp.
  • Every hamster had to play and their turns will scheduled and timed.
  • Oh my.
  • Ian figured it out that the game will be the second HoH comp Thursday.
  • They're sure it's a Fast Forward or Double Eviction.
  • We know they're right.
  • Of course, it could be a PoV comp game.
  • Maybe.
  • Britney thinks Ian's telling the others way too much (regarding double eviction and perhaps second HoH game).
  • Ian thinks they all could guess anyway -- too many people, too little time, everyone (including Shane HoH) must practice.
  • Britney is also upset that Ian is reluctant to put Frank on the block if he wins HoH.
  • Ian wants Joe out.
  • His reasoning is that if he puts Frank up and Frank saves himself, he's (Ian) the new target because he's a sneak.
  • Er, he's a Secret Squirrel.
  • Britney cried some more. She's really stressed plus her husband's birthday was Wednesday, hers today (Thursday).
  • Boogie only wants Frank, Ian and Ashley to walk him to the door.
  • He's now changed his speech thoughts to pointing out that Shane is dumb.
  • Well, he actually may have a point there.
  • Ashley thinks Joe is delusional.
  • Um ... what about Danielle?
  • Speaking of Danielle, she really shouldn't wear polka dot pants.
  • Boogie said again he has a soft spot for Ian.
  • Wait until he sees the Secret Squirrel stuff. If Boogie is honest, he's have to give him a tip of the hat.
  • Ian admits that backdooring Frank would be best if they can do it.
  • The Quack Pack is really studying and discussing what choices they need to make if they have the double eviction.
  • That's all she wrote.

I'm surrounded by idiots who won't drink my Kool-Aid

Get the ball to a top hole

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Wednesday Evening - Aug. 22

They got a new game to practice for tomorrow
Divine child on a mission

Joe: "I'm getting really ticked at Ian."
Dan: "What's he doing now?"
Joe: "He's being nice."

"I got a story ain't got no moral, let the bad guy win every once in a while. Will it go 'round in circles?" - Billy Preston

Yep, the hamster wheel does go around in circles. And, yep. The bad guy does win every once in a while (or more). Nope, it's not going to be a Boogie win this time, though! Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hazy Hamsters:
  • After Frank told his bromance buddy Boogie what happened last night, Boogie was determined to call a house meeting to call them all out.
  • @@
  • Then his big talk with them all was that he didn't want to be the "epicenter of negativity."
  • Say what?
  • Things don't have to be uncomfortable.
  • Um. Okay, Boogie. To quote you: "Actions speak louder than words."
  • C'mon, be a rain of sunshine in the otherwise stormy lives of your fellow hamsters!
  • He said he was upset that Ian and Ashley cried.
  • If it had been someone else crying, he'd be pointing and laughing.
  • The HoH TV screen flashed on balls in the yard (they were on an indoor lockdown).
  • But the image was gone almost as quickly as it appeared.
  • Ashley spoke her piece to the crowd. Boogie's not a bad person.
  • She apparently doesn't know about Erika.
  • Frank told them it's not just a game to him. It's his dream.
  • I guess no one else in there has that dream.
  • Danielle and Shane think they should get rid of Frank, Ashley and then Ian after Boogie goes this week.
  • What? Keep Joe over Ian who has been faithfully serving up information to them?
  • Dan said he wouldn't feel safe if Ian won HoH.
  • I don't know. Ian might go for the big move, but it wouldn't be this early I don't think.
  • They all keep thinking Pandora's Box or a double eviction this week.
  • Dan got it in his head that the show tonight would be a live eviction show.
  • Wrong, Dan.
  • Although you were wearing the same clothes you wore today.
  • Ian told Britney and Dan that Frank wants to put Dan and Danielle on the block and try to work with Shane and Britney.
  • Frank also agreed to throw the HoH to Ian.
  • Hmm.
  • Ian is still on his hate fest about Joe. He told both sides he wants a time limit on how long Joe stays in the house. He's decided 7th place is far enough.
  • Dan once again told Britney that he can't protect Ian much longer -- he's already "fallen on the sword twice this week and that's not good gameplay."
  • Britney got all upset with Ian because he mentioned that Dan and Danielle would go up. Now it puts Dan and Danielle in the position where they might be willing to work with Frank!
  • Ian apologized.
  • Profusely.
  • Hey, Secret Squirrel ... you knew the job was dangerous when you took it.
  • "You just sent me home!" she shouted in a loud whisper.
  • Frank told Jenn that he had to vote for Boogie to stay even knowing he's leaving.
  • But he'd like to work with her again after it's over.
  • Frank also started working on Joe again. This time, not so much for the Boogie vote, but afterwards.
  • Ashley said "slutting it up" wasn't her strategy, but she was just so bored.
  • Britney cried to Danielle. She's missing her husband's birthday and really not having a good time in the house.
  • Oh well.
  • If I were in that house, I'd be hitting the panic button and escaping.
  • But I'd never be there in the first place.
  • How about you?

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Brainwashed ... if she had a brain to be washed!

Whoa! Bad hair day there, Britney!

Open sesame. Nope, that's not it.

Ohhh! Dollar store modeling clay!

Big Brother 14: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Aug. 22

BB12 Blogo 3

My gosh ... so much has happened in the house that I totally forgot that they haven't aired the PoV show yet! As it airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. But, as always, the real excitement is in the comments area! Pull up a comfy chair, grab a beverage to sip (or chug) and come join us!

This should be a good one!

Veto player pick time -- Shane - Jenn, Boogie - Houseguest's Choice (Ian), Frank - Houseguest's Choice (Ashley). Danielle is the host.

Big Brother Candy World is the PoV comp. It's a counting game. Ian needs to throw it so he won't have to take one of the nominees off the block. Heh. Boogie is eliminated first. Frank is in the lead, Jenn out second. Shane got his first point, Ian is out. Ashley got a point, Shane out. Frank wins!

America's vote for the Have Nots: mozzarella and matzo, cheddar and chipolte, feta and fennel.

Veto Meeting time. Frank saves himself. Shane puts Jenn up with Boogie.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Wednesday Morning - Aug. 22

He WILL win if not stopped soon

Well, I judged Joe wrong. He did tell Frank he was going to go with the HoH side, not the Boogiemobile. The Boogiemobile, of course, could be easily confused with the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. But I digress. Here's the latest scoop from inside that Big Brother House of Tears and Turmoil:
  • I was kind of looking forward to a complete blindside of Boogie. Thanks for blowing that, Joe!
  • In a way, Boogie and Dan are working very much to the same tune right now.
  • Boogie is avoiding others and letting Frank run around working his tail off to keep him in the house.
  • Dan is laying low letting all those around him fall apart.
  • Not so mortal enemies Danielle and Jenn kissed and made up. Well, not quite in a lesbian way, but ...!
  • Joe's big "confrontation" with Frank consisted of ... "I regret to inform you that my decision is a no."
  • Huh?
  • That's IT? From Mr. Big Boy Willie Fighter? Sheesh. What a letdown. It's bad enough he went to Frank sans Boogie.
  • Oh, sure. Ashley was there. But she doesn't count.
  • And she now realizes she won't count. After all, she's "voted out all of her friends in the house and has no one."
  • Her words, not mine.
  • Frank tried, but Joe ain't budging.
  • Hey, he even has a name for his alliance with Dan, Britney, Shane and Danielle -- the Headhunters.
  • Joe then went up to the HoH room with the four plus Jenn.
  • Laughter and boisterousness ensued.
  • Then it was time for Secret Squirrel Ian to go into overdrive.
  • He walked about (on toes, as squirrels often do) and worked himself up, taking gaspy breaths.
  • Then he cried.
  • The Emmy goes to IAN!
  • He sucked both Frank and Ashley right in!
  • Frank stormed up to the HoH room.
  • A shot rang out! The maid screamed!
  • He yelled about how they made Ian cry.
  • Britney sat there looking actually shellshocked.
  • They sat in amazement at his fury for a moment after he left.
  • Then they giggled.
  • But then Ashley went up wanting to talk to Jenn alone.
  • No way, Jose!
  • Jenn lighted right into her in front of the new HoH group (which includes Joe).
  • Secret Squirrel is still being secretive -- neither Jenn nor Joe know his role.
  • One thing good about Jenn is that she does say what she means and she doesn't pussyfoot about.
  • So the cryfrontation went down, not a confrontation so much.
  • "But, but ... I'm all alone in this game!"
  • "You made your bed, now lie in it."
  • Okay, I paraphrased Jenn's sentiment there. But since her make-out session with Frank, I've wanted to say that.
  • As I write this up, the HoH crew is STILL up (including Jenn and Joe) out in the yard.
  • Jenn and Ashley sort of made up.
  • Boogie Boy is going to be history come tomorrow night.
  • But who will be the second boot?
  • Hmm ...
No, I don't want to work with you

At least Jenn says what's on her mind

Just before the big crydown

The Emmy goes to  ... Ian Terry

OMG, Frank is berserk!

The big cryfrontation
