As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Let's get this party started!

Julie wonders if Jeff can talk himself to safety. Heh. Jeff says he won't go down without a fight and commences his battle to stay in. Jason is ticked that Audrey isn't on the block. James thinks Jeff is the target, not him. (He doesn't tell Jeff that.) Clay and Jason think James is more trustworthy; Meg is in a quandary. Jeff cries to Shelli. Onto Jackie now. He's talking to one after another (in editing).

Uh-oh. An "emerging love triangle." The twins are trying to match. Liz tells Julie that Jeff must go home. Austin thinks he has a great relationship with both twins, but is especially close with Liz. (Yes, the twins are common knowledge with the hamsters, but both can't actually play in the house until after the fifth eviction.) Meanwhile, Jeff tries to campaign and flirt with Liz. Austin catches them under covers and gets all testosterone-y. The editing of the show so far is leaning towards Jeff staying. I personally think he will go. The vote should be after the commercial break.

The pleas to stay:
James -- Sorry me and you, Jeff. Love all of you, smile. Please vote to keep me.
Jeff -- Did not see it coming, love you all. Vote for you only. At the end of the day.
GAH. ATEOTD!

The votes to evict:
Jackie - James
Austin - Jeff
John - James
Meg - Jeff
Onto commercial ...
Clay - Jeff
Shelli - Jeff
Steve - James
Liz - James
Jason - Jeff
Becky - Jeff
Audrey - Jeff

By a vote of 7 to 4, Jeff is evicted.

Whoa, Julie says Jackie is a floater! Heh.

HoH Comp time. Going back in time -- 90s week, set of 1994 music video 'Bustin' Moves.' They'll watch dance "videos" -- the videos are live dancers -- and be asked true or false questions.

James, Jason, Clay and Steve out.
Meg and Austin out.

Liz and Shelli are the only ones to get the third question right. They're the new HoH duo.

Julie fills time asking questions.

She tells us the 90s will continue all week, but no BB Takeover in so many words. It seems they misjudged the timing on the live show tonight. The dancers came out twice and the hamsters answered the questions from Julie.

Big Brother 17: Live Feeds Overnight into Thursday - July 16

I liked him better before I knew him

Ah, it's the dawn of eviction day in the hamster house today. That always brings new life to the live feeds! Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Not So Jazzy Jeff:
  • Austin told James he should campaign more as Jeff is definitely campaigning.
  • James claims he doesn't want to throw Jeff under the bus, but he's heard Jeff has been doing that to him.
  • Initially, James and Jeff were close buddies.
  • But it's hard to stay friends when you're both nominated for eviction.
  • BB gave them more alcohol.
  • It always gets me that the amount of alcohol given is so little compared to the number of people in the house. I can't see why they get so excited.
  • Meg, Jason, Audrey and Shelli decided to put on a musical sketch.
  • Ack. Now I'll have nightmares about Frankie!
  • Jeff told Jackie that if he stays, he'll go after Vanessa.
  • Well, duh. That should go without saying. And, that's also Vanessa's fear and why she so wants him to go at this point.
  • Steve made a two week safety deal with James in exchange for his vote to save him.
  • Rumors about Audrey being America's Player continue to run rampant through the house.
  • Why do they think someone MUST be America's Player every darn season? More often than not, no one is America's Player.
  • And, certainly not a group of America's Players ... that's been going around the house, too.
  • Silly paranoid hamsters.
  • Jeff apparently is in no fear that Jackie will run back to Austin and Vanessa to tell them all the trashtalking he's doing about them.
  • Perhaps he should worry.
  • Jackie isn't in his corner.
  • But he thinks she is.
  • She was at one time. But she needs to look out for her own game.
  • And, he's not in her plans if he's out with the in crowd.
  • Meg told Chelli that she actually trusts Jeff more on a personal level than she does James, but knows he's going to go.
  • In other words, she'll probably do a sheeple vote even though she personally would keep Jeff.
  • Austin is worrying that Clay might have switched and may be on Jeff's side now. Before, Clay was reporting every wrong move Jeff made to him. Now, not so much.
  • Hmm.
  • Oh noes ... say it ain't so. Jeff outright CRIED to Shelli. Like tears and all.
  • @@
  • Now, that's pulling out all the cards.
  • I doubt it will save his butt, though.
  • We'll see tonight!

At least he can't pick shoulder pimples

It makes him taller!

Jeff/Jackie talk time

Shades of Frankie. Ew.

Big Brother 17: Live Feeds into Wednesday Evening - July 15

Jeff's no bro of mine!

Jeff's been telling a spool of lies and getting caught up in each and every one of them. Jeff is the new Audrey. (Although Audrey is back to her instigating bit by bit herself.) Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of The Loquacious HOH Lassie:
  • Vanessa clued Austin in on a tale Audrey told that she (Audrey) is in an alliance with Chelli.
  • Truth or fiction?
  • After all, Audrey has started planting those seeds once again.
  • Austin went into a long talk about his Masters degree and claimed he's never been able to get close to anyone (such as a woman in a relationship).
  • Now, the Masters bit might be real. But didn't he say he had the love of his life at home waiting?
  • He wasn't wearing his Judas hat.
  • Austin told her that his strategy was to eliminate all the guys.
  • Huh. I thought it was Jason who wanted to work with the girls!
  • Shelli thinks her name is being thrown around.
  • Well, yeah. It is. It should be!
  • More than one person is leery of the Chelli duo remaining intact.
  • Plus, you've got Audrey claiming an alliance with Chelli.
  • The Boy Toy just might be Shelli's death knell in the house.
  • Eventually.
  • It has now dawned on Austin and Vanessa that they probably can't rely on or trust Audrey.
  • D'oh!
  • Once again, they're thinking Audrey is America's Player.
  • We ain't got no steenkin' player in this Habitrail! Sheesh.
  • Now they have doubts about Chelli, too.
  • They know that John will be voting to keep Jeff. They thought Becky would.
  • But, Becky talked with Vanessa about all the lies Jeff has told and said she'd be voting for him to go.
  • Shelli told Vanessa and Clay that the Diary Room was giving her subtle hints to keep Jeff.
  • Hmm.
  • Despite Jeff's campaigning and (perhaps) Diary Room hinting, it looks like Jeff will be out tomorrow.
  • He's burnt too many bridges.
Home alone? Nope.

Pooped out party animals

Look! Her mouth is closed!

Is Steve working a strategy?

Jeff lies and I know it

What? Is the thrill gone?

Is he Judas now?

Big Brother 17: PoV Episode Blog Party - July 15

Big Brother 11 Blog Logo photo BB-09-smJackieMA28497852-0002.gif

Good evening! Ready for a blog party? Although the live feed observers already know, tonight's show will focus on the Power of Veto comp and renom (if any). Will John and James remain on the block? I guess we'll see! (Even though many of us know, but that's beside the point.)

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Gee, the show is starting off with a recap. That's new and different.

Or not. The only new bit is a note read that says every time Gronk calls them to a party, they must go.

Vanessa wants Jeff or James gone even though it's John and James on the block. James thinks Audrey is the backdoor target. Vanessa is leaning towards James going home (at least that's the editing).

Liz advises Julia to cover her tooth. She has a crown that has already been noticed by Johnny Mac, the dentist.

Austin leads Jeff into thinking that Audrey is the target.

Time to pick players for the Veto comp! Vanessa gets Shelli, John gets Houseguest's Choice and goes with Austin. James gets Audrey. The show is being edited to make viewers believe Vanessa's target is James and she doesn't want the noms changed. That is so not the case. She's been after Jeff from the get-go as an alternate.

The Veto Comp is a Vegas Party set up. They have head-to-head Gronk and Roll Party inside giant dice and have to have the correct number showing on top. It's similar to a past comp, but can't remember it it was just last season or the season before.

Vanessa goes against Audrey. Vanessa throws the first round to Audrey.

John goes against Audrey. John wins the round.

James against Austin. Austin wins.

Shelli versus Austin. Austin wins.

The final match-up is Austin against Johnny Mac. WOOT! Johnny Mac wins the Power of Veto!

Vanessa fusses at Austin for losing, saying he threw the comp and just wants to get Jeff out while she wanted the least amount of blood on her hands by ousting James.

If they don't show up for a Gronk Party they will be a Have Not next. The Gronk Parties start with a toga party. Pool party, shower party, and so on. They tire of partying.

Jeff goes to talk to Vanessa and pushes the Audrey card to her. She mentions she has the opportunity to take out his buddy James. Jeff gets James, Jason and Clay and tells them the plan is to get out James and not backdoor Audrey. Jason sees right through Austin's denial that he knows about it. Jeff trash talks Austin to Clay who runs to Austin to tell.

Austin runs and tells Vanessa and Audrey that Jeff is throwing him under the bus.

Vanessa confronts Jeff. He lies to her. She goes off on him and says she'll put his butt on the block.

Gronk gives them the chance to win a cruise with him. The winners of comps from the week get to participate in a luxury comp. They have to drink a drink. Meg wins!

Veto meeting time. John, of course, saves himself. Whoops, Gronk party time! Jeff goes on the block.

Big Brother 17: Live Feeds Overnight into Wednesday - July 15

Pretty, I'm so pretty

Yeah, yeah. I know this live feeds update is very late. Dock my check if need be. Oh, wait. What check? (Of course, if you feel compelled, I do have a Paypal Donate link in the sidebar!) Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of At The End Of The Day:
  • Audrey tried to convince Shelli that James is better in the game than is Clay. To Clay, "Calling you stupid would be doing you a favor."
  • Heh.
  • Jeff fussed about his lack of Diary Room time.
  • That's because we just don't want to see him pick his shoulder pimples.
  • Audrey wants everyone to act like they're in a Disney musical.
  • Um. Wait. If it becomes Big Brother the Musical, our feeds will be forever blocked.
  • "Stop that, Audrey."
  • Steve's awkward act (if it is indeed an act, which I think a lot of it is) is catching on and people are thinking of ways to "use" him for their benefit.
  • Hopefully, it's to HIS benefit.
  • It's already shown that he's gone from target to somebody that will probably be in the house safe for some time to come.
  • Jason says that part of the reason he felt he had to come on the show was because he hated Frankie Grande so much.
  • What happened to his childhood dream of being in the house that he mentioned before?
  • But, it's okay to hate Frankie. I don't hate him, but I certainly was very annoyed at him all last summer.
  • James is starting to crush a bit on Audrey. He thinks she's the prettiest girl in the house.
  • I think she might be, as well.
  • It has suddenly dawned on Jeff that he can't trust those whom he thought he were friends.
  • Well, duh.
  • Steve thinks they (Vanessa included) should somehow stop the Austin/Liz showmance.
  • Steve has previously voiced thoughts of breaking up Chelli. He knows that the couples bond can be deadly for others in the house. He's seen it time and time again.
  • I was surprised that I actually had interest in a very long discussion with Jackie, Jeff and Steve in the backyard.
  • Now, had Jeff been that mellow, honest and quasi-intelligent all along, he wouldn't be going home this week.
  • I think Steve soaked in all the insight and, hopefully, it might give him more game in the game.
  • Jackie and Jeff talked about a lot of the behind the scenes stuff from TAR (apparently they're allowed to talk about production in TAR, just not BB). As a show fan and blogger, I found it quite interesting.
  • Jason rejoined the talk and they kept it up until dawn there.
  • They all eventually went to bed.
  • As did I.
  • Jeff has resigned that he'll most likely be going home tomorrow.

I've made mistakes

Time to himself

Cozying up?
