BB19: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - July 19
As tonight's show airs, I'll be live-blogging and updating this entry -- refresh the page to get the latest. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
Recap ends with the promise of showing the Dominique/Paul verbal smackdown from the other day. Woot.
Paul wants Dominique out. She won't talk to him. But she talks to Mark -- telling him Paul is involved, and Elena is, too. Tears time. She cries while she talks to him. He cries as he talks to us in the Diary Room. He assures her she won't go home.
She goes to the bathroom to talk to God. She hears Paul's name three times (in her mind). Paul is there when she comes out. She tells him one person really wants her out. He tells her that he hopes she would come to him and ask if she has an issue with him. He told her she can trust him.
Time for the veto players pick! Alex randomly picks Kevin. Dominique picks Christmas. Jessica get's Houseguest's Choice and selects Jason.
Jason wants to take Jessica down if he wins veto. He thinks it's too risky to leave her on the block. Dominique is his target. She is actually THE target for all but Mark.
Veto Comp is on! Squirrels and balance beam things. The Temple of Temptation. Christmas's doctor forbids her from playing. She must sit out and isn't replaced. They go back and forth on a beam 50 times over "lava" -- score resets if they fall. A cash prize can be had, but would eliminate the person from competing. Kevin is doing horribly! He ends up taking the temptation. He wins a whole $27.
Heh.
Jason is leading. Dom falls on the beam itself, but recovers before hitting the lava. Jessica doesn't fare as well with her fall and resets. Whoops, Dominique hits the lava! She resets. Alex and Jason were tied at 49 each when Jason beats her on the last ding. Jason wins the Power of Veto!
Paul wants Mark up in Jessica's place via Jason's PoV. He suggests to Alex to put Mark up as a pawn -- that way he can't campaign to oust Jessica and a vote to keep Dom would be gone. Paul goes around campaigning to Jason with the idea. Paul acts like it's Alex and Jason's plan and agrees with it.
Alex tells Mark she wants to put him up as a pawn. She tells him others are worried about his vote. He doesn't like the idea. He tells us his "best friend" (Dom) is on the block and now they want him to go on the block with her. They tell him Dominique is the target.
Dominique thinks that if she tells Jason there's a snake in the house, he'll save her with the veto. So, she talks to him, telling him she's been betrayed. She won't name the name of the snake. He tells Mark, Elena, Paul and Alex.
Then Dominique talks in riddles about snakes to Alex. She calims there is a snake and tempter. It's all a bit bizarre. She tells Alex she wants to tell everybody about it.
Alex tells Paul that she was talking about him. Meeting time! Paul slithers downstairs to get her. She tells him he does have snake tendencies. The kerfuffle is afoot!
Mark, after the Dom/Paul verbal kerfuffle, tells Alex and Jason that he will not support Dominique and, if they need to put a pawn up, please put up Raven.
Veto meeting. Paul dresses up like a snake.
Jessica - Picked you to play, still wants to be in house.
Dominique - Framed by my own team, snake in house dressed appropriately, minions will reap what they sow. Won't work with my team because they stabbed me in my back.
Jason does NOT use the Power of Veto.

BB19: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - July 18
![]() | |
Compact, but mighty. |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Nuthin' Goin' On:
- No brouhahas, no kerfuffles, no nuthin' going on today.
- The most interesting news is the scrolling banner on top of the feeds window which says the feeds will be down "longer than usual" at the end of this week and touting the televised Battle Back on Friday.
- Mark still thinks throwing the pickle juice and hot sauce in Josh's face (and eyes) is just a harmless prank.
- Jason would like to win HoH and oust Christmas. He thinks she makes him feel guilty about her accident.
- I really haven't seen that.
- I think it might be his own conscience that's making him feel guilty.
- Christmas went to the Diary Room and came out with a new black cast and optimistic news from the doctor, saying she's recovering extremely well.
- It's more of a walking cast and she's getting around much better with it.
- Ramses and Paul tried to befriend and catch a large moth in the yard.
- It's like Dominique doesn't live there anymore already. I'll admit I didn't watch every moment of the live feeds -- I have to work for a living and this blog certainly doesn't pay my bills. But I always scout all over the feeds through flashback to get these reports posted and the screencaps up. I didn't see her but once on the feeds. I think she stayed sleeping/exiled herself all day.
- Eek! Christmas's crutch slipped on something on the kitchen floor and she fell. She's fine, though. They don't really need any more injuries in the house.
- I really don't have much more for you.
- Hmm.
- I've got something! At one point Kevin called Jason "Josh." Jason told him that he can remember every little thing but his name.
- Now, that's exciting, right?
- No?
- Okay ... maybe tomorrow will bring a new kerfuffle ...

BB19: Live Feeds into Tuesday, Food Fight Kerfuffle - July 18
![]() |
Smiles |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Food Fights:
- I got my feeds running late last night and immediately checked out the heated food kerfuffle that happened in the afternoon.
- It all started over a disagreement on double-hitting a ball on the pool table.
- Josh claimed he won the game despite double-hitting the ball because Mark always double hits the ball. The bet they had made was: if Mark lost, he'd drink a glass of hot sauce and pickle juice.
- After much back and forth, Elena told Mark he should throw it on Josh. She immediately said she was joking and it was a bad idea.
- Instead, Mark only listened to the suggestion -- he tossed the hot sauce and pickle juice combination right in Josh's face.
- Ow! Rightfully, Josh was very upset. He ran to flush his burning eyes and they looked very inflamed on the feeds. He wasn't making up the pain.
- How stupid is Mark to do this? It was a silly thing to do had he just thrown it on Josh's chest or something ... but in his face?
- Josh ended up squirting salad dressing and ketchup all over Mark ... but not aimed at his face.
- Mark was chided by the others for the initial attack and agreed he would apologize. But he was a bit like a petulant child pouting about it.
- Then Josh didn't want to accept his apology.
- Thankfully, Josh's eyes seem okay.
- But now we have two huge little boys at war in the house.
- Paul told Alex that Josh is such a loose cannon in these types of scenarios that they need to keep him in there a long time to do their dirty work.
- Mark thinks that Josh over-reacted to the hot sauce and pickle juice. But I bet it really did burn in his eyes. I won't be experimenting to see how much it would burn!
- Mark likens it to fooling around with friends and a baby powder fight they had a few days before.
- But, before he did it, Mark steamed and steamed. I guess it was lucky he didn't do something more violent.
- His own friends tried to tell him that he had gone too far. But he wasn't hearing them. After all, it was all in fun. Right? No! And, he just doesn't get it.
- Now he wants Josh out next week.
- But, as I mentioned before -- Paul thinks they need to keep Josh in for a while.
- In actual tomfoolery, Matt accidentally poked Raven in the eye.
- "They're never going to give us alcohol," claimed Alex.
- Remember, it was tomfoolery which caused Christmas's injury! Tomfoolery can be dangerous!
- Josh thinks Raven is always bad-talking him -- Dominique told him the shower peeping claims .
- He had a long teary talk with Dominique ... who smiled all the way through his tears.
- No, she wasn't being cruel. She just always has that condescending smile when dealing with small children. She was actually sympathetic.
- Alex and Jason know it was Kevin with the hinky vote. They are not happy.
- But it still will be Dominique paying the price.
- Dominique also reached out to Mark, offering to be a shoulder to lean on after the rough day.
- He turned her down, but was irked when Elena questioned him about why Dominique talked to him.
- Oh, geez ...

BB19: Live Feeds Brief, PoV Meeting - July 17
I seem to be having some issues with accessing my live feeds tonight. But I wanted to let you know that Jason did NOT use the veto.
Dominique and Jessica remain on the block.
It's still Dominique who should be going home Thursday.

In with the In Crowd? Not really, but ... |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Eventual Evictions:
- Similar to the daytime, not all that much went on during the overnight hours.
- Dominique almost might as well be gone.
- She was apparently in bed early and I didn't see her hanging out with anyone.
- She sure was (trash) talked about enough to be present in thoughts!
- Alex told Josh that he wasn't the target in the beginning. It wasn't until he took the Golden Apple in the comp and yelled at a girl that he became one.
- She said he isn't a target now.
- And, he isn't.
- But that doesn't mean he's really in with the In Crowd.
- They plan to use him.
- Josh and Ramses told Alex they trust Paul.
- Silly boys. Oh, not for saying it. That's probably smart right now. But hopefully they don't really trust Paul any further than Ramses can throw Paul.
- Ramses told Alex that Dominique's been acting sketchy towards him all week and he's pretty sure she was the other vote to keep him.
- Alex said that she doesn't think the vote was Dominique's and she put her up because of other things.
- They agreed that Dominique has been sketchy and is a smart player.
- I say, she's obviously not as smart a player as Paul!
- If this continues, Paul will be taking candy from babies and the babies will ask their mothers to get them more candy for him to take.
- Elena and Jason are pretty sure Kevin was the hinky vote.
- But will any repercussions occur? I don't think so. At least, not right now.
- Mark and Elena tried to talk Jason into not using the veto as they know Mark will go on the block (as a pawn).
- But we all know Jason will do whatever Alex wants him to do with the veto.
- She hasn't told Jason who will go up, but she has told him to save Jessica.
- Whether he uses it or not, it will be Dominique going home this week.
