BB19: Live Feeds into Wednesday Morning - August 2

Raven's too touchy-feely for my liking

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Egos in Exile:
  • In reference to the above screen cap -- Raven is always touching and caressing people. I'm sure it's some sort of psychological quirk in me, but I would shy away. Unless it's some kind of romance going on, I don't like random people touching and caressing me.
  • No new circuses going on.
  • Mark, who's really not the brightest bulb in the BB pack, is actually trying to play both sides of the house.
  • He tells Paul he's loyal to them.
  • When asked by Cody if he was distancing himself from them (Jessica and Cody) due to Elena or what, Mark told him it was the house.
  • But he also told Cody he's loyal to them and wants to work with them.
  • I don't think Mark is savvy enough to work the double agent bit.
  • It's probably going to end up with neither side using him for anything other than a vote. Then they'll throw him to the wayside when they don't need him anymore.
  • You know, kind of like what Elena is doing with him.
  • Now she's irked because he has backed down from their relationship (at her bidding!).
  • I'm not a Mark fan, but feel kind of sorry for him. He seems to have the mindset of an adolescent when it comes to adult situations.
  • And, it seems like everybody in the house is using him for something or another.
  • Well, except for Josh.
  • When not throwing condiments on each other, they play fairly well together.
  • In three weeks, Christmas will graduate from a cast to a boot. If she's still in the house, she will still be limited as to which comps she can compete.
  • Paul wants the others to throw the next HoH comp to Josh.
  • That would most likely be the only way Josh could win one!
  • But a few of them -- Mark and Elena -- aren't too keen on that move.
  • None of Paul's crew want Mark to win HoH. They don't trust him, nor Elena's influence on him.
  • Hmm ... another bit of insight into Cody's psyche -- he told Jessica he barely talks to his mother even though she tries and tries to contact him. Once again, I think the dude is probably a good case for therapy. He might not have drug or alcohol issues, but these unsatisfied with life, jobs, people, etc. stuff are definitely affecting his whole personality.
  • Jessica fantasized about killing Alex by drowning so they could live happily ever after.
  • My gosh, they're ALL whacked!
  • Alex is Jessica's nemesis more than Paul is Cody's nemesis.
  • Well, maybe not Kevin and Jason. The "old" stay at home dude with a rather dubious background and the rodeo clown are the most normal people in the house!
  • All is rather calm in the house. Perhaps the calm before the storm? They (and we) expect Jessica to invoke the Halting Hex tomorrow night.
  • But who knows what will happen after that? Will there be a show tonight for the benefit of Mr. Kite? I just don't know.
Due to some of the comments being made on my posts, I'd like to remind people that the opinions, no matter how prevalent on the part of some people, do not reflect my own. Although I've been involved in monitoring AOL message boards and chats, freelance recapping and/or blogging since BB1, I'm just here for the entertainment (and, of course, any donations folks might like to make!) -- I don't get personally involved in outcries of injustice, "loving" or "hating" any of the cast, etc. It's a show. Just entertain me and I'll be happy. Although I often like some hamsters more than others, I have no personal stake in how the show goes down. It ain't no skin off my nose!

I just don't know about Josh

His cowboy hat got demoted?

Apparently Kevin is a pirate

Jessica wants to pose like a Hymen Trophy

I guess I should explain the above screen cap -- Jessica told Cody that she will post like the Hymen Trophy with Julie tomorrow night. Cody laughed and sent her to Christmas and Paul to ask them what a hymen is. Heh. She meant Heisman, of course.

BB19: Live Feeds into Monday Night - August 1

Oh my, a good screen cap of Elena

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Insolent Children:
  • Thankfully, all calmed down some today. My real life job has been a bear and I don't think I'd be able to go to the circus again.
  • Jason is again suspicious about Cody's military history. Now, I do think Cody has been in the service. But I also think he embellishes it and wasn't happy there either. I know from his Jeff interview that he hates the job he left to come on the show. I personally think he should take Jessica's advice and "lighten up." I'm talking about life and things in general.
  • Christmas has yet another new cast.
  • I think they're going for the world record of cast changes within two months.
  • There was actually a light-hearted moment between Paul and Cody. Paul asked who put the empty egg shells back in the carton. Cody said he did it. When Paul asked why, Cody just told him to hold that thought and left the kitchen. So now Paul went and filled a dozen egg carton with empty shells and hid the real eggs.
  • Gee, little pranks like that are almost bliss compared to yesterday.
  • Alex thinks that Mark and Elena lied to her about not knowing the original Jessica deal with "get rid of Alex."
  • Paul had told her of that deal, but promised she wouldn't be voted out.
  • Elena is still loyal to Jessica (not necessarily to Cody).
  • Loyal to Mark? Not so much.
  • Paul and Company considered letting Cody and Jessica be the only ones playing the Temptation Challenge this week.
  • Cody and Jessica argued about Global Warming. Cody thinks it's a hoax.
  • A whole lot of nothing going on gamewise -- just the usual suspicions. No brouhahas, no circus.

He should pay for the broken pot, methinks

Still in love?

BB19: Live Feeds Monday into Tuesday, Brouhahas! - July 31/August 1

Josh tells Mark his woes with Cody

Oh my gosh. I worked late, came home exhausted and missed a huge brouhaha in the house! I've now caught up thanks to the Flashback feature and will give you the skinny. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Looney Toons:
  • Yes, Paul did some instigating.
  • But people are responsible for their own behavior in the house.
  • Sure, riling up Josh is like playing with dynamite.
  • But who thought Raven would turn into a raven' lunatic?
  • It all started with the Hex use possibility and with Paul saying that it's time for Cody to show his "real colors."
  • While I do enjoy a good brouhaha, this ended up not being quite that at all.
  • It ended up with Josh, Raven, Alex and Paul leading the charge against Jessica and Cody.
  • While it was aimed more at Cody, Jessica was targeted by Raven as much as Josh targeted Cody.
  • Paul instigated things with Josh, telling him what to say to Cody to "set him off."
  • But Raven was instigated by Christmas who told her that Jessica said horrible things at her.
  • Instead of making them both want to leave, it seems she's more likely to use the hex.
  • Instead of getting Cody riled up enough to get the boot from production, they might have lengthened his stay.
  • There ended up being arguments between Jessica and Cody, Christmas and Matt and more.
  • This isn't good, not really.
  • Yet Mark and Josh are getting along okay. Mark told Josh he's glad he's not the target of this mess.
  • Hmm.
  • Some are questioning if Cody ever was a Marine.
  • I think he probably was one. But it is odd that he has to think of his last rank. "Um. I think I was a ... corporal."
  • Josh told us that he's not a bully.
  • I don't know. He seems to be doing a lot of bullying.
  • It's all a huge mess in the house right now.
  • While I think Cody has no social game and isn't a good candidate for the show, this is all a bit too much.
  • Yes, Paul instigated Josh and the idea. But some people were just kind of "there" -- Kevin, Jason come to mind.
  • Alex, Christmas, Raven, Josh ... they didn't have to do this or go this far.
  • Paul claims to react to bullying by being the bigger bully. Hmm. Cody's bullying is more of a physical threat fistfight kind of thing. Paul's is an outright war.
  • Even with the war as it was, Cody didn't get physical.
  • Mark thinks that they should stop and think how it all looks to others.
  • Words of wisdom from someone who's shown little emotional growth, but he's right.
  • But, like I said, it will probably all backfire. They all just bought more time with Jessica and Cody.

A Raven lunatic?

If not for Cody, Jessica would go far.

Will this all backfire on him?

New duo? Nah.

In circus theme mode again

Meeting of the minds and mindless.

Will he stay or go?

BB19: Live Feeds into Monday Dawn - July 31

Is it that cold in there?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Paul Plans:
  • Okay ... so Jessica's demands have been met.
  • For the moment, at least.
  • She will not use the hex and will sacrifice Cody this week.
  • Paul will take Jason off the block during the veto meeting.
  • In return, they (Paul and company) will keep Jessica safe the next two weeks and Alex will be voted out next.
  • I mean ... what could go wrong here?
  • Well, Paul doesn't want Alex out.
  • But he doesn't tell Jessica that.
  • Elena thinks she needs to separate herself from Mark for her own game.
  • Honestly, I don't think that will help her much.
  • She obviously was never that into Mark in the first place. I think any convenient man would have sufficed her needs.
  • Mark, on the other hand, was smitten. He's often more of a teenager than a man and that includes how he is with women.
  • He's hurt.
  • Maybe he and Josh can work on a true bromance instead.
  • Paul, when not around certain hamsters, is beside himself with glee thinking this new plan might actually work.
  • He amazes himself.
  • Heh.
  • In between smooching sessions, Jessica and Cody had their relationship ups and downs talks.
  • I think Jessica's eyes are opening in regard to how Cody is and might also be on the outside.
  • "Maybe I'm supposed to be alone," says Cody.
  • Hey, there's nothing wrong with that! Well, unless you're miserable alone, that is.
  • There are other rifts going on in the house -- Josh is being a pain, Mark is irked that Josh gets away with it, etc.
  • Kevin told Jason that Cody told him he'd be willing to bow out of the game to give Jessica a chance in it.
  • Paul is being cautious. He doesn't want Jessica to feel threatened. After all, until the hex is not used on Thursday, there is room for changed minds.
  • Paul thinks he might pull Jessica off with the veto, put Alex up and let Jessica think Alex will be voted out.
  • Jessica herself is of two minds about the hex -- America gave it to her, so she should use it and Cody keeps changing his mind whether he should stay or go.
  • Mark is now forlorn and lovesick. Poor baby. Elena certainly isn't the woman for him anyway. He just doesn't see it that way.
  • Later!

Not really a worldly dude

A man with a plan. And a Plan B.

No, I haven't won a comp yet!

Breaking up is hard to do

BB19: Live Feeds into Sunday Evening - July 30

Mark's one shoulder dwarfs both of them

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Dealing Dilemmas:
  • Paul is thinking the temptation Jessica has might just save one person. He's considering pulling Jessica off the block.
  • His plan would be to put Elena up in her place, Cody would go home.
  • Kevin believes that if any girl is on the block, Christmas will vote that girl out. Hmm.
  • Paul talked to Jessica, once again reiterating that everyone likes her. It's just that, with Cody (Public Enemy #1) at her side, she will always remain on the outside, a target.
  • She ended up telling him that, using her hex, she can pull everyone off the block.
  • She tells him there would be no eviction at all.
  • In other words, his latest HoH reign would be all for nothing.
  • Jessica tells him she refuses to take part in any plan that will send Cody home.
  • Sigh. That would be a game-changing move for her. In my opinion, she has a decent sense of the game, better than most playing this season. If not for Cody, she'd be a contender for the win.
  • Paul pointed out that she'd definitely make jury if she doesn't use it and Cody goes home.
  • The person going home this week should be the last pre-jury.
  • She says she wants to be in jury with Cody if neither of them make it further down the line.
  • Paul kept trying to convince her that Cody is ruining her game and she has a chance without him in the picture.
  • Alas, to no avail.
  • Well ... maybe ...
  • Jessica laid down the rules if she doesn't use the hex to save herself and lets Cody go -- she wants safety for two weeks and Alex to be voted out the next HoH.
  • Um. Gee, isn't Paul in a secret alliance with Alex?
  • Shh. It's a secret.
  • Paul assured her he could fulfill her first demand. He's not as sure on the getting Alex out.
  • Jessica is adamant about the Alex bit. She says she feels like she's being bullied in the game and those are her demands. She would like them met.
  • Well, that sends Paul into a tailspin! He has to run around to all of his peeps, adjusting things a bit for each of them.
  • Cody and Jessica ended up in a kerfuffle without anyone mentioning she might be ready to throw him to the wolves!
  • Paul told Alex of the plan, telling her that they'll be faking the target on her and there will be another blindside.
  • Heh. Paul said that Cody has a "small man complex."
  • Takes one to know one!
  • Paul is the smallest guy in the house while Cody is shorter than most of the women.
  • Paul and his peeps decide to go with a Make Cody Miserable Plan.
  • Um. I think he's there already and has been for weeks with the exception of the Jessica benefits.
  • A meeting was held with Jessica (sans Cody) and a group. She agreed not to use the hex (and thus sacrifice Cody) if Alex goes out next.
  • Agreed.
  • Um, well, it is BB. I wouldn't trust any of them!
  • Jessica asked they be nice to Cody. After all, he has post-war stuff going on in his head.
  • I don't know. I watched as Jessica asked him the ranks he attained in both the Air Force and Marines.
  • Uh.
  • "Uh is not an answer," I say in my best Judge Judy voice.
  • Now, you KNOW the rank you attained on the military as well as you KNOW whether you graduated school or not. Why did he hesitate on both answers? Thinking up a lie?
  • Hmm.
  • Things are all convoluted in the house.
  • And, so is my mind.
  • Until tomorrow ...
