Hamster watchers ready?

Oooh ... Julie Chen is showing shoulders! Let's sit through the recap of previous episodes. Julie tells us that Sam wins the chance to come back if she wins a live challenge (if she's the one voted out).

We're into a house divided segment, along with a scramble for votes. Steve thinks his group is solid. Seven votes are needed. Of course, Tyler can't vote unless it's a tie.

Aw, Kaitlyn and Fessy have so much in common! (Weirdness?)

Poor SamBot is still clambering about. Thankfully, if she remains tonight, that will be all over. Poor JC will be bereft without SamBot. Meanwhile, Haleigh and Fessy are falling for each other, but each is scared to act on it. For now, anyway. Kaitlyn is a bit disturbed by their "friendship."

Rachel and Kaycee are wondering why Steve hasn't even talked to them about the vote -- it bothers them that he feels so secure.

Level 6 needs one more vote to get to the magic number of seven. They want to work on Kaitlyn.

Fessy is in infatuation while Haleigh balks. But, from what she told us, she just might go with the feeling. Sure enough, canoodling starts. Kaitlyn is not a happy hamster about the situation. She cries to Tyler about it.

Hmm ... lost the audio when Julie teased about the HoH comp. It better be back after the commercials!

Time for the live vote (with audio even!)
Steve -- Love to family, says nice things about Sam and all, would love to stay, no ill will if doesn't stay
Sam -- Love to family, loves all and robot, too. Each touched my heart. Doesn't want it to end.

The votes to evict:
Scottie -- Sam
JC -- Steve
Swaggy -- Sam
Bayleigh -- Sam
Rachel -- Steve
Kaycee -- Steve
And we have a commercial break.
Fessy -- Sam
Haleigh -- Sam
Angela -- Steve
Brett -- Steve
Winston -- Steve
Kaitlyn -- STEVE
Rockstar -- Sam

Steve has seven votes and he's evicted! Fessy, Swags and Bayleigh are in shock.

In his talk with Julie he kept going on about how he loves them all.
Gag.

Finally ... the HoH comp is starting. "Land a Job" -- Several sought after jobs, catapult a ball, hits building with the highest value wins.

Scottie 40K
JC Missed buildings OUT
Brett OUT
Winston 12K OUT
Sam 50K -- Scott's out now
Kaycee 1K - OUT
Fessy OUT
Kaitlyn 80K - Sam is OUT
Angela OUT
Bayleigh OUT
Swaggy OUT
Rockstar OUT
Haleigh OUT
Rachel OUT

KAITLYN is the new HoH.
Amazing.
She'll probably have a nervous breakdown as HOH and will need a life coach to guide her.

My apologies to Ginnyjulie, Sally, uncartie, Karen in California -- you have been evicted from the pool. (But you can still hang out!)

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Thursday - July 5

You don't often see shirts like that.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of a Hamster's Hamazon:
  • We're still in the doldrums -- that long stretch of down time in the house.
  • Yawn.
  • Steve, with his inner Eastern time zone inner clock, got up early and sat alone. He mouthed some words for a while and I thought my sound was off. Then he coughed. I heard that loud and clear.
  • The least he could do is talk to us!
  • BB's rule for this season is that the hamsters must be awake 10am to 10pm (their time, not mine).
  • The BB voice gets quite demanding when they don't follow its rules.
  • But no one is banging pots and pans.
  • Tyler still wants Kaitlyn to their side to keep Sam in the house (so she can hang onto her power).
  • Sam and Tyler mull telling Kaitlyn that Sam has the power.
  • Gah! Kaitlyn's so haphazardly needy that I can see her blabbing to Fessy!
  • Sam worked on the rather elusive (on the feeds) Scottie and even pinky-sweared to work with him if she stays.
  • He remained noncommittal as far as voting goes, though.
  • Despite all their worries about being in a showmance bringing their individual games down, Bayleigh and Swags continue to canoodle.
  • Not surprisingly, because you can tell he honestly seems to like her, JC committed to voting to keep Sam.
  • They feel they just need to get Kaitlyn now.
  • Hmm.
  • Meanwhile, Scottie ran to Steve and reminded him that he's his "ride or die" and told him Sam approached him.
  • And Steve talked to Kaitlyn and Kaitlyn told him that Sam doesn't realize how close she is with him (Steve).
  • Fessy and Haleigh continue to canoodle a bit even though Fessy thinks she spends too much time with Tyler ... who's also sweet on her.
  • Oh my.
  • Tyler told Sam she needs to give up trying to get Scottie to keep her. He thinks it looks like she's going to have to use her power.
  • He will act shocked when it's revealed so the others don't know he knows about it.
  • And then Winston thinks it might be smart for them to split the votes.
  • Froot Loop doofus!
  • Angela and Winston are thinking it's best to keep Steve and swing him over to their side.
  • JC told them that he can't understand why they're considering keeping a strong player like Steve in when they have the chance to get him out.
  • Steve is a strong player?
  • I don't know about that.
  • Swaggy continues to blab all his business to Tyler.
  • Tyler continues to remember all.
  • Kaitlyn is still believing they will have a battle back.
  • I don't know if she knows that they only did that one season. It's not like OTEV that's done every season.
  • Tyler came up with a signal for the live vote -- if his hair is down, evict Steve. Up, evict Sam.
  • We'll have to watch his hair!
  • The votes seem very iffy right now.
  • I think Sam is going to be forced to use her power.
  • OH GEEZ! Tyler told Level 6 hamsters about the power!
  • He told them that it would be best if she could get by without using it so early in the game.
  • GAH!
  • TYLER!
  • WHY!?!?!
  • They promised they wouldn't tell, but ...!
  • Sam does not know he told, nor did she want him to tell.
  • Tyler worked more on Kaitlyn to get her to keep Sam.
  • While the didn't come out and say Sam has the power, he told Kaitlyn that no one on "that" side trusts her, if Sam is voted out the power will be used and she (Kaitlyn) will end up being a target.
  • Kaitlyn is thinking Brett has the power.
  • It appears that she has been swayed by Tyler.
  • But, who knows?
  • Put that in your aura and smoke it.
  • Tonight should be interesting even though it appears the comp itself is a crapshoot luck with a little bit of skill one.

It's Scottie! Remember Scottie?

I have more swag than Swaggy!

Chug that on down.

My punishment is SO horrible!

At least she doesn't make Spock eyebrows

Big Brother 20: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - July 4

I'll be live-blogging it as it airs. Refresh the blog to get the latest! And, of course, the real party is in the comments -- I hope to see you there! I doubt we'll have a big turn-out tonight here on the blog. Most of the other stations have firework displays for the holiday.

Expect the "previously on" to start it out.
Finally, that's over and we can actually begin the show!

Sam tells us she will keep the power app close and will use it best to her advantage. Fessy told them he got the crap app -- it will soon be obvious anyway. Tyler tells Sam he needs her to stay there. She likes him. She tells him she has a "thing." She will stay even if evicted, no guarantee. She was very vague. Tyler thinks it's the power app but he's confused. She won't give him details.

Swaggy says he likes Tyler and thinks he can work with him. So, he takes it upon himself to tell Tyler that, if the veto is used, Angela needs to go. Heh. Angela is an ally of Tyler. Tyler tells Swags that Bayleigh would need to go up. Now, she's Swaggy's cuddle buddy even if he is getting scared of a showmance.

Hamazon delivery at the front door! Hamazon Swine for Fessy! It's actually vegetarian ham as Fessy can't eat ham due to his religion. He can't even go to bed until he finishes the huge delivery. And ... then ... more ham!

Swaggy tells Bayleigh that Tyler wants to put her on the block if he needs a replacement nominee. She feels betrayed. She also feels Swaggy will drop her at any time to save his own game. (Well, as he should. He's there to win not to find love in all the wrong places.)

Poor Bayleigh is in tears. Swags is trying to console her. She thinks they need to distance themselves from each other and she may be a target because of him. So, she goes to talk to Tyler. He tells her if she goes up, she's a pawn. He tells her that she's the safest bet. She thinks he's throwing her under the bus. "What about Angela?" Tyler hints to Bayleigh that Angela just might have the power and she needs to trust him. "Pawns go home," she tells him.

Time to pick veto players! Tyler randomly picks HG Choice and chooses Swaggy, telling us he would keep the noms the same and Steve will go. Sam gets Scottie. Steve gets HG Choice and goes for Fessy.

Tyler tells the dudes that Steve will stay ... even though we know he wants Sam to stay. Tyler tells us he loves it that Swaggy's side tells him everything that's going on with them. Heh.

PoV Comp has them participating in viral videos. The first one has snakes. Real ones. They must retrieve three light icons from under the snakes, one at a time. The least amount of light icons done is out when time is up. Steve is done first! Sam second. Scottie is out.

Stage 2 is in the Arctic. They have to go into ice water to retrieve the light icons. Swags is out.

Stage 3 is to become a human paintball target holding positions on little teensy ramps while being shot at. Steve fell and is out.

Stage 4 has them bring back ten balls, one at a time, with "lightning bolts" coming at them. Sam is having real problems with the shocks. Fessy is done first. Sam is out.

Tyler makes a deal with Fessy to keep the noms the same if he wins. Tyler has to throw it.

Stage 5 has them drinking bad stuff. Fessy wins the Power of Veto!

Steve thinks Fessy will take him off the block and he's in a good position. Tyler thinks Fessy will keep his word and he won't have to change nominations, so he's in a good position.

Veto meeting time ... interrupted by a Hamazon delivery for Fessy! No speeches ... Fessy does NOT use the Power of Veto.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Wednesday - July 4

We're running this show!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hamazon Hamsters:
  • One thing I am liking about this season so far -- something new and different for BB -- the hamsters tend to keep their clothes on (for the most part). Now, I grew up with brothers. They rarely ran around the house shirtless. And I almost never walked around in a bathing suit unless I was going to go swimming.
  • Yeah, I'm a voyeur watching these hamsters. But not for the sex appeal, I'm not a voyeur!
  • The rock wall got some use yesterday.
  • I prefer to watch that rather than chess but all I can think of is foolishness and falls.
  • The long feeds cut yesterday was apparently practice for the HoH comp.
  • I guess the practice was yesterday not today because they didn't want to pay more for a full staff on the holiday.
  • Yes, this is the show that ends up buying dollar store toys.
  • They think will be able to practice more today. But, I guess the initial practice had lots of instruction. They'll have ten balls each, so it has to be one of the crapshoot comps coming.
  • Tyler tried to work on bringing Kaitlyn over to his side, even to the point of hinting that Sam might have a power.
  • But he didn't come out and say it.
  • Kaitlyn once again cried to Fessy because ... well, she's not his only interest in the house.
  • Mind you, she speaks of a boyfriend at home. Often.
  • Kaitlyn is as dippy as I thought she would be from reading her bio and not seeing her in action.
  • Brett and Haleigh hung out together, flirting a bit but amounting to little.
  • Fessy is not happy that she's hanging around Brett.
  • Poor Fessy. He knows Kaitlyn's been hanging around Tyler, even Rockstar hanging with Tyler to a lesser extent -- his harem is slinking away?
  • Scottie and Sam talked. He told her that she can't play the game right when she's a robot.
  • Y'think?
  • SamBot, knowing that Scottie is Steve's ride or die, lied to him and told him she didn't get the power.
  • Swags doesn't think Fessy's Hamazon punishment for lowest trending was all that bad. Thus, he thinks, the reward for best trending probably isn't all that.
  • Heh.
  • Then again, Swags thinks if they gave the girls lap dances, it would make great TV. @@
  • He also thinks he's running the house. @@
  • Kaitlyn continued to bond with Tyler. I don't think she's adept enough to even think of playing both sides of the house.
  • We'll see how that goes.
  • They never did get more practice time last night.
  • Maybe today ...

A clean window is a happy window.

Femme fatale?

Domo arigato, Mrs. Roboto, domo!

Not a manscaper, obviously.

Miss Manners did not school JC.

Fessy without his hair slicked back.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Tuesday - July 3

I don't predict marriage

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Wanton Wusses:
  • With the normal schedule loused up, the down time for these hamsters is even longer than usual.
  • Lots and lots of talk about the next HoH and nominations when they're still a couple of days away from the first eviction.
  • Steve is sure he has a solid seven votes.
  • I don't think his votes are all that solid.
  • But it won't really matter for Sam if he wins the vote anyway.
  • Meanwhile, Rachel and Angela are scrambling for seven votes to keep Sam.
  • Tyler is indeed the only one knowing Sam has a power. He doesn't know the details but knows Sam would rather save it if she can.
  • Well, the votes are to be evicted, not to stay. But you know what I mean.
  • They got a SnapChat event, glasses and all in the house.
  • I never really wanted to know what I'd look like with a puppy face.
  • If you can't tell, I'm not a big SnapChat fan. Not at all.
  • Winston is already worried about a double eviction. @@
  • JC and SamBot married with Rockstar officiating.
  • I don't think that's going to be a legal wedding!
  • Fessy swore to Allah to Kaitlyn that she's his Number One in the game.
  • Oh, geez. He himself should be his Number One. Oh, wait. He'd be happy to make it to jury. I forgot that.
  • Kaitlyn has worries that Fessy is also telling Haleigh the same thing.
  • For a "Life Coach" she has many insecurities and comes across to me as rather needy.
  • Oh ... and, after that, Kaitlyn runs to Tyler telling him he's the only one she feels safe with.
  • @@
  • Plenty of cracks developing in the Swags/Fessy camp. Haleigh and Kaitlyn on the outs. Kaitlyn and Swaggy on the outs.
  • Wait ... I see a common denominator there!
  • Fessy and Bayleigh aren't going to be BFFs either.
  • Heck, even Fessy and Swags had a kerfuffle because Swags wouldn't help with the last Hamazon delivery. (It all has to be eaten.)
  • Not surprisingly, JC was a Mark fan (BB19). I think he too feels he's there for vacation and partying.
  • While JC really does nothing for his own game, he has been trying to swing Rockstar into voting to keep Sam.
  • Tyler is working on Kaitlyn for the Keep Sam Movement. He tried to point out to her that (with all the drama) she picked the wrong side. And, as she's used to studying people, she should know that.
  • But I think her unrequited love of Fessy may hinder that.
  • Drama, drama, drama. I think I just might rather be a Robot Online in this house!
  • We had a long feeds block which just ended a bit ago.
  • I don't know what happened.
  • But Kaitlyn's crying again.
  • Oh, well.

Haleigh is feeling better

Has to be bad on the back

Spinning wheel gotta go 'round

SamBot blinded him with science

I've got seven solid votes
