BB21: Live Feeds into Monday - August 26

Nicole whispers to us.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Pied Pipers:
  • Nicole has been wondering if it's possible that the whole week is a prank and no one will be going home.
  • I've been wondering that myself. It's not like someone unexpectedly self-evicted, but the numbers do seem off. Especially off if they go for a ratings winner show like a double eviction.
  • The ZingBot's visit has them all questioning how they're being portrayed.
  • Christie has vowed to have better eating manners.
  • I'll believe that when I see it.
  • But I won't see it because usually when she's eating on the feeds, I go to another camera view.
  • Nick told Jackson (hoping for his vote to stay) that he's the Prankster and he deliberately didn't put him (Jackson) on the block because he wanted to show his loyalty.
  • Nick is acting like he's okay with being on the block with Christie and it might give him the best chance of staying.
  • That's because everyone likes him, y'know.
  • Because Nick gave up his secret to Jackson, Jackson told Holly and now everyone knows Nick got the Prankster vote.
  • Hmm. That could work against Nick staying if they all think America actually likes the sleazeball.
  • Nicole is really in a voting quandary. She promised Nick she'd vote to keep him. And, Christie is pressuring her to keep her. Nicole doesn't want to tell Christie she already promised Nick and she doesn't want to break her word to him.
  • Jess keeps trying to steer Nicole away from Nick. Good for her. Someone really needs to open her eyes about him!
  • Holly also told Nicole that they have no chance for a win if Nick stays in the house.
  • Since they are all such fools, they think that Nick is all that.
  • Well, they're all that wrong ... but they are the ones who vote at the end of it all.
  • Cliff is still working it week to week following the power and trying to keep Nicole with him.
  • Tommy doesn't want to tell Nick that he already promised Christie he'd vote for her to stay.
  • The veto meeting is today and it's kind of tough to call.
  • Jackson probably will not use the veto -- he and Holly agree that either Christie or Nick going is fine for their own games.
  • If the noms remain the same I think Christie might have a slight lead in eviction votes to stay over Nick. Many seem to either like both of them or don't like either of them in the house.
  • On a side note -- I plan to eventually try Jackson's way of "peeling" a watermelon. I actually prefer to eat small pieces of watermelon rather than dealing with a sticky rind. Thanks, Jackson!
  • The pie punishment went a bit crazy and now they're all a bit tired of it.
  • Both Jackson and Nick got into making pies to attack the pie punishment people and it then led into a massive pie fight through the house with Nick getting pie in the eye and Tommy was attacked with a mayonnaise one.
  • After that a house meeting was called to go over rules. It's just getting too messy. Cliff says that although they clean up afterwards, the smell of sour milk starts up quickly in anything that absorbs the topping used in the pies.
  • Jackson and Christie both volunteered to be pie targets -- Christie saying she has to be over a trash can. No pies in the bedrooms (unless BB directed) or on carpets.
  • When directed to a certain person in bed, the pies will be gently smashed with the least mess possible.
  • Cliff, Jess and Nicole all said that since they are the punished ones, they will take care of cleaning up all messes made.
  • At this time it does look like Holly and Jackson are serious about teaming up with Cliff and Nicole.
  • We'll see how long that lasts.
  • Holly got her HoH Snapchat glasses and yet another Tommy choreographed production was on.
  • Whatever.
  • Jess says she can't really identify with any of the others on a cultural level.
  • I can't identify with her either for the most part.
  • Even the couple I like -- Cliff and Nicole -- have issues to me. With Cliff, it dates back to his rather irrational fear of David and blowing his HoH "big move." With Nicole, probably the one I might closest identify, she needs to win something. It would help if they actually ever chose her to play for PoV over the season. She only played for it in the first week. However, her performances in HoH comps has been disappointing and she's NOT throwing them.
  • We'll see what happens after the PoV meeting but it's a long time until Thursday.

He's lost his boyish figure for sure.

Reminiscent of Raven's hair-do. Ew.

Cliff Notes goes on to this day.

I will someday try Snackson's method.

Tommy, do not buy into Nick's sleaze!

Massive pie fight starts!

BB21: Nominations Show Blog Party - August 25

Hmm … other than the Prankster, the nominations and some pranks, I'm not sure what they have to show in this episode. My guess is we'll get a lot of filler clips -- I probably won't report in full on those. They actually finished the HoH comp on the live show and the promised ZingBot won't be on until Wednesday. Any jury house or family segments are always on the live show. I guess it's a mystery.

I'll be live-blogging and updating this entry with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest update! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Reminder -- this show post and comments are SPOILER FREE. Please don't comment on spoilers or refer to them in comments.

Previously on and blah, blah, blah ...

Jackson tells us that Christie remaining will help him stay in the game.

The hamster are all wondering how Prank Week is going to work. Nick hopes it will work in his favor as Holly is HoH. Christie cries to us, of course. She ruined her best friend's game and cut some deals to keep herself safe.

Cliff, the expert at soul-selling deals, gives her advice and cuts his own deal with her. He tells her to go to Holly and Jackson. She wants them to trust her that they're not her targets -- she wants Nick out. She tells them she has no one, she's willing to be a pawn and she will keep them safe. Jackson seems to buy what she's selling.

Cliff goes to Christie, telling her he wants Nicole to remain safe. So, he goes to Jackson and Holly. Jackson tells him he would like to go to the end with Cliff, and Holly. They agree to take in Nicole. A lot of this seemed to be taking place before the eviction last week.

Now they're sitting around in fear of the unknown and pranks.

Holly tells us her target is Nick -- she wants him out. She's scared the Prankster will interfere with her HOH.

The campy BB voice tells Nicole, Cliff and Jess (lowest three in the HoH_ that their punishment will be making pies and smashing in faces. They're first directed to smash them in their own faces. Then each other's face. Then it's to be done in slow motion. It goes on into the overnight hours. They're directed to wake someone up and smash a pie in his/her faces. Of course, the voice should wake them up anyway.

Now Christie is back-pedaling to Holly and is all nervous about being a pawn. That, of course, is what she used to get them to keep her in the game.

They're all called to the living room where Holly reads a card that the Prankster will be making one nomination and she'll only nominate one. They're told it's voted by America and that if the Prankster's nominee comes down, the Prankster names the renom.

Holly isn't happy because it diminishes her HOH and ruins her plans. Christie's not happy because she thinks America hates her and she won't be voted to be the Prankster.

Holly is a bit relieved that she won't have to deal with Christie being upset if she goes up as a pawn. Christie is wondering if Nick might be the Prankster.

Nick tells us that Jackson might go up by the Prankster because he's a threat in the house. Nick goes to Holly, says Christie has made him a villain and tries to convince her not to nominate him. He tells her that Christie had been going for her and Jackson, but he wasn't.

Holly is indeed worried that the Prankster might put up Jackson if for no other reason than to mess with her HoH.

Ah, a segment on Christie's eating habits -- rude, talks while eating, chomping, mouth open. Nick is right. She's absolutely disgusting.

Nick goes to the DR, reads a card and dances. Then he reads the card to us. He knows he could go on the block. He's thankful. He promises us he won't let us down. (He thinks America wanted Christie out last week.)

Christie is called to the DR. Nick tells her to let them know about the power. He tells us his plan is to keep it a secret and divert. He tells us he needs Christie to go home and his own game will be much easier.

Nicole thinks Nick won it. Nick denies it.

Holly and Jackson both think the Prankster is Nick, so it would probably be best for her to put Nick on the block. They think both Nick and Christie need to go, but it's more likely that Nick has the power out of the two.

Time for the nominations ceremony. Holly nominates one, Prankster one. In the block is the key she chose -- Nick. She says it's because all she does is nominate him, powerful player. The Prankster nominee is done like a slot machine and lands on … Christie.

Holly is fine with that because if Nick gets himself off the block, it wouldn't bother her if Christie goes home. Jackson is worried about being a renom. Christie thinks America wants her to go home (most do!) and hopes she hasn't embarrassed her family. Too late for the last.

BB21: Live Feeds PoV Bulletin - August 24

Well, that didn't take so long considering other Power of Veto comps which block the feeds for hours on end.

JACKSON won the veto. When he talked to Nick he told him he would honor Holly's nomination and not use it. Nick then told him that he was the Prankster and he's oh-so-loyal to him (Jackson) because he could have put him on the block instead of Christie.

Heh, I don't think that will work.

At this time, I don't see Jackson using it to save either of them. He told Christie he loves her but won't be using it on her. But it's Big Brother. That could change. It was not the Hide and Go finding the veto comp but it was something physical.

BB21: Live Feeds into Saturday - August 24

Personally, I'd rather see volcanoes erupt.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Pimple Poppers:
  • Yes, you heard me right. A chunk of time last night was spent with pimple popping "surgery." I realize there's a show dedicated to the um ... art. But it's nothing which catches my interest. I guess I'm more the age where Tweezing Chin Hairs might be more apt.
  • As far as I've been able to watch, I don't believe Nick has told anyone but us that he won the Prankster.
  • Before nominations he pointedly had several talks with others in which he said if he won the power, he'd nominate Jess.
  • He also has a "deal" with Christie in which they each said they wouldn't nominate the other.
  • I'd actually guess that had she won the power she would have gone for a Nick nomination had Holly not beat her to it.
  • I'm still not sure how that was all coordinated so the HoH and Prankster didn't nominate the same person.
  • Jackson told Holly that he thinks Nicole has the power.
  • Nope ... Nicole has won pretty much nothing. Sigh.
  • However, she did have a great time when the campy BB voice directed her to smash a pie in Jackson's face!
  • He asked her why she was so happy to do it. "Rogue vote" was all she said.
  • The BB campy voice has directed them at all hours and to all others AND to themselves ... pie smashing.
  • The pies themselves are just ready-made crusts (graham cracker, it looks like) they fill with aerosol whipped topping. It's not like how Pauly had to prepare pies.
  • Christie was the only one I saw relishing eating the pie from her face. But I expected that.
  • The hamsters, with a bit more insight than I thought this group has, seem to think they're due the ZingBot and possibly the Hide the Veto comp.
  • We know the ZingBot is coming.
  • I know the ZingBot is a BB standard and a hit with many. But it's not really my favorite thing. I'm one that doesn't particularly like mean things and it is always mean. Plus, I think it gives them a hint about how the outside world perceives them.
  • Right now Nick thinks he's loved because he got the Prankster.
  • He's not loved.
  • I think he only won the vote because people figured he'd nominate Christie.
  • Which he did, of course.
  • If today's veto comp is indeed Hide the Veto, I recall Tommy and Nick going around the house (separately) looking for good hiding spots a few weeks back.
  • I also recall a conversation with most during which they talked about how none of them would make a mess with milk and such like Scottie did last season.
  • Once again, Nicole didn't get picked to play for veto.
  • The veto players in addition to Holly, Christie and Nick will be Jackson, Cliff and Jess.
  • Hmm.
  • If Jackson wins, he'd probably keep the noms the same.
  • If Cliff wins (which I don't think he wants to), he'd play safe and keep them the same.
  • If Jess wins, she'd probably take Christie down.
  • As the Prankster nominee, Nick would make the renom. The pickings are getting slim. I don't think he'd put Nicole up. He'd have to put up either Jackson or Cliff. Of course, he'd remain on the block. So, he'd probably have to make the choice of someone he has a chance to win against. I think he'd go for Jackson, saying he's more of a threat.
  • But maybe not.
  • If Nick wins and removes himself, Holly would have the choice. I think she just might go for Jess.
  • But I'm just guessing.
  • I expect the feeds to be down a lot today between ZingBot and the veto comp.
  • I'll report what I know once I know it.
  • Until then, I know nothing.
  • That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I don't think he expected to still be here.

Claims no shirt because he sweats too much. Ew.

Pies are just aerosol whipped topping.

Nicole loved nailing Jackson with a pie!

BB21: Live Feeds - Nominations Bulletin - August 23

The suspense is over. Of course, the live feeds were blocked for the nominations ceremony so we don't know exactly how what went down went down.

Holly nominated Nick.
Nick nominated Christie.

So, the universe is as it should be.

Well, until BB ruins our bliss again.
