Well, well, well ... it's been quite the night in the Hamster House. By targeting Janelle's team in his (Shane's) nominations, the lines have been redrawn once again. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of As the Hamster Turns -- like sand through the hourglass, these are the days of their lives:

• With the coaches comp on Fridays and the HoH awaiting the results from that, it doesn't seem like they have time to really prepare for nominations as much as in previous seasons.
• Shane pretty much made the HoH a revolving door quickly talking to each hamster before he was called to make the nominations.
• I swear some got about two minutes tops. 
• He was telling them to state their cases in 30 seconds!
• Not in a mean way, mind you. More in a hurried way.
• Janelle and her BFF Wil really, really want Frank out.
• Shane not so much ... he has his deal with Frank even though last week, had he not won the veto, he (Shane) would have gone home.
• Joe is more antsy than usual as he's not only nominated (and knows he's the likely target), but he's also a Have Not.
• Too bad, so sad, Joe.
• Maybe if he shaved that stupid thing growing on his face, I'd have more sympathy.
• Hmm ... probably not. He's a bit like a Willie Hantz with slightly more education and cooking skills.
• Wil thinks Shane and Frank are working together.
• Y'think?
• Danielle is upset about the nominations. She was expecting to hold power as the swing vote this week as she thought Shane would nominate one each from Boogie's and Janelle's teams.
• Britney and Dan now trust Boogie more than Janelle. They think he's a lot less sneaky than Janelle is.
• They're probably right. I hate to admit it, but I actually like Boogie on the feeds more than Janelle this season.
• Boogie on the live feeds is a lot less egotistical than he is on the actual show.
• The Have Nots have cereal and salmon this week. That's probably the most filling/healthy of the choices that could have been.
• Janelle tried to talk Shane into going against Boogie's team.
• Alas, Boogie's team has been more honest with Britney's team (Shane) than has Janelle's.
• Janelle should have thought of that prior to aligning with Britney in the beginning, then jumping ship, now trying to jump back aboard.
• Danielle was worried that she might be backdoored, but Shane and Britney insist that she's safe. They also told her that Boogie's team will keep her safe next week if they get the power.
• Joe is claiming his anger level and heart rate both went up when he was nominated.
• Good. We need a new decent brouhaha!
• Janelle has huge bruises on the outsides of her thighs from the coaches comp.
• Joe told Shane that he wants Frank gone this week and he won't come after Shane.
• How does it feel to want, Joe?
• Somehow, in the coaches comp, Ian won $3000. I might be getting this wrong, but it sounds like Boogie won money and split it with Ian.
• Good, the college kid probably has bills to pay.
• Ian said his mother told him (when she found out he was going into the house) that she hopes he's the first one out. She probably said that because Ian is so far from worldly and she's worried about him.
• It's like throwing a lamb into slaughter.
• But he's holding his own and I'm cheering him on from here.
• Janelle and Wil think that if Janelle hadn't saved him (Wil), he'd be going home this week.
• They're absolutely right.
• Wil has done little other than clinging to Janelle like some sort of shadow.
• Is the Diary Room telling Janelle stuff?
• Janelle told Wil that there will be a twist with the coaches coming into the game this week as per America's Choice. She also said she and Boogie are fan favorites.
• Hmm.
• Most of the people I've seen who follow the live feeds (including myself) DO NOT WANT THE COACHES IN THE GAME.
• And, many Janelle fans (such as myself) aren't liking her gameplay so much this season.
• I'm on the Britney Train for now ... although that's subject to change.
• Janelle thinks Boogie wants his boy Frank to win.
• I think Boogie is probably leaning more towards his boy Ian -- it's Ian he kept safe, it's Ian he gave the money to. I'm just sayin' ...
• It's Wil's birthday today. Ho-hum.
• The PoV comp will be later today, too.

Shane's nominations are in. He drank the Boogie/Frank Kool-Aid. He nominated two from Janelle's team -- Joe and Ashley.

Although the nominations are not in yet, they're obviously leaning towards Joe and Frank. Joe is the target.

How are the hamsters doing with a new sheriff in the town? Oh, wait. It's just Shane. He's obviously good at winning comps, but he's no PuppetMaster! Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Quivering Quahogs:

• The early risers of the day, Boogie and Joe, complained about how messy the house is getting.
• Like that's anything new!
• Joe made his fancy bribe breakfast for Shane.
• At least he admitted to Shane that it was is apologize and "kiss ass" time.
• But, still. I call sleaze!
• Joe thinks Ian wants to make a record for the longest on slop.
• Chicken George holds that record at 35 days.
• Boogie is ticked that Britney never washes dishes.
• Well, he rarely washes his hands after using the bathroom!
• So there.
• They speculated on what the coaches comp might be.
• Shane told Frank that Joe told him he should put him (Frank) up.
• Shane also told Frank that his main target is Wil.
• But he won't be making any decisions until after the coaches comp.
• Britney warned Shane to keep tight-lipped about things.
• When Boogie asked Frank how he would feel if he used the save on Ian. (Assuming he wins the coaches comp.)
• Frank doesn't like the idea.
• Not at all.
• Janelle started looking all around the arcade room, unzipping the pillows, etc. She seems to want to get into the ball machine in there.
• The ball machine reminds me of the previous fortune teller.
• But it isn't as ugly.
• Trivia came on, so I'm guessing the coaches comp is underway.

So, the power has changed hands once again. Now Shane is Da Man and Britney can breathe easier for a week. What's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Men With Bad Hairdos? Read on ...

• A tip of the hat (or, more likely a jeer) to Willie Hantz as Shane chowed down Froot Loops shortly after his big win.
• Dan advised Danielle that she should team up with Shane -- he'll always be a bigger target than her.
• Ian is the sole Have Not ... for now.
• Danielle told Dan that Shane told her that she had nothing to worry about this week. He had voted to keep JoJo out of loyalty to his team.
• Of course, he's a team of one now -- just like Danielle.
• Jenn feels bad about her performance in the HoH comp.
• She should.
• But Mr. Posturing Joe should feel worse.
• Joe thinks that Shane will nominate himself and Wil.
• Boogie thinks, if all goes right, the nominees will be from Janelle's team.
• Just don't touch my little Ian! (That's what Jackie says.)
• Joe told Jenn that JoJo gave him the cigarettes anyway even though he told her it wasn't worth it to go against the house and vote to keep her.
• But she took the lighters! Bwahahaha!
• Joe ended up rigging the toaster oven outside to light cigarettes.
• Wil and Joe are worried. They think Shane might have a deal with Frank.
• Y'think?
• Joe wants to make a "royal breakfast" for Shane.
• Can you say "suck up"? I thought you could!
• Shane got his HoH room ... complete with Dunkin Donuts!
• Britney, Dan, Danielle and Shane plan to work together.
• But, then again ... they don't know Shane has a side deal with Frank.
• Joe tried to convince Shane he should get rid of Danielle.
• Heehee ... Dan overheard Joe telling Shane that.
• Shane seems to be leaning towards putting one up each from Boogie and Janelle's peeps -- probably Frank and Wil.
• That is subject to change, mind you.
• Plus, he could just be saying that. He might keep loyal to his deal with Frank.
• Then again, he may not.
• Confused yet?
• Britney told Shane that they should work a wedge between Janelle and Boogie this week, pitting them against each other.

Big Brother 14: Live Eviction Show Blog Party - July 26

Come one, come all! It's the live eviction show! If I seem strangely silent, it's because I've lost power. I setting this to automatically post, but my power has gone out twice already with severe storms passing through.

If I keep power, I'll update this entry with major news. The real fun is in the comments, though. Come join the fun!

Dr. Will on the coaches! Thinks Boogie is doing well, worries about Boogie's ego. He thinks the other coaches are lackluster. Kermit the Frog and Ryan Seacrest had a baby, it would be Dan. Britney -- put your coach hat on, players evicted for violence. Is Janelle good at strategy? If she loses, three time loser. He thinks Ian will win the game.

America's Vote will be a chance for us to change the game. I predict voting either Kara or JoJo (expected to go go tonight) back in the game.

The nominees speak, then it's time for the live vote. JoJo up first, came planning to lie but that's not who she is, really loyal, making a mistake because they won't make a big move. Danielle loves all y'all, I'd be a great assett, etc.

A peek at the HoH comp reveals a winter backyard with the hockey set-up we saw them practicing on in the feeds. "On Thin Ice" has them hitting a hockey ball into numbered slots. Highest number wins.

I hope you're sitting down. The shock might be too much for y'all. Are you ready? Willie Hantz has been arrested. Yep, TMZ has the scoop and the mug shot. Who woulda thunk it?

There's been more action outside the house than inside. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Reality Rejects:

• JoJo is trying defend her actions sticking by Willie last week by saying he's a sociopath and he brainwashed her.
• Of course, the point is moot. She would have to have a brain.
• I know. I know. I'm being mean. I'll stop it.
• Everybody seems to be telling Danielle she's safe.
• Nobody is telling JoJo she's safe.
• They're just kind of nodding their heads and being non-committal with her.
• They piped the BB theme music with suffer with during the feed cuts throughout the house.
• The hamsters had to suffer with it, too.
• Good. It builds character.
• And, we need some kind of characters on the show this season, for sure!
• Dan told Frank he holds Britney responsible as Willie's coach for not putting a muzzle on him.
• I don't think any of them could. She really tried her hardest. Willie should never have been allowed in the house in the first place.
• They cleaned.
• The feeds kept going to trivia and the control room on and off all day, as well as the theme music drowning out some of the conversations.

Well, well ... another hamster goes home tonight. Or, more likely, goes into sequester. Here's what happened into the wee hours of the morning in that Big Brother House of Smokes for Safety:

• Janelle wanted to start drama by telling Danielle that JoJo was talking about her.
• Danielle didn't want to confront JoJo because she (Danielle) would cry. She's not good at confrontation.
• As JoJo had earlier said nasty things about Janelle, Janelle trashtalked her.
• Janelle thinks JoJo is a lot like Willie.
• Different accent, though.
• Danielle started to get upset and just shy of crying.
• Frank told her not to worry about JoJo as she'd (JoJo) would be gone in 24 hours.
• As Janelle is talking about JoJo, JoJo is talking about Janelle.
• Meow.
• The indoor lockdown ended and the hamsters found a huge hockey-type platform in the yard.
• They have oversize hockey sticks and balls to try to put in three pockets.
• JoJo had taken her cigarette vote barter back from Joe saying that she wanted to make sure she's here and Janelle doesn't smoke the cigarettes.
• But then she gave them back to him.
• Frank told Joe it will ruffle feathers if Joe sells his vote for cigarettes.
• Joe said he'll give them back, but maybe JoJo will accept some memorabilia instead of a vote for them.
• Janelle thinks Ian might throw this HoH comp so he can win the next one, likely an endurance comp.
• JoJo and Janelle had a "talk." Janelle denied telling everyone she wanted JoJo out of the house. JoJo told her why she should stay in the house.
• Rats. No fur flying.
• Laters!

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Wednesday Evening - July 25

Oh my

Oh my gosh. I almost wish Willie was back. I need some sort of excitement! Here's what's been happening (or not) in that Big Brother House of Keep This Up and Ratings Will Plummet:

• Joe and Shane have decided they trust each other more than they trust Frank.
• I wouldn't trust Joe. But, hey Shane ... go for loose cannon paranoid dude. Ain't no skin off my nose!
• Shortly after that conversation, Joe agreed with Wil that Shane or Ian have to be out next.
• Wil will be 25 years old this Saturday. I forget how young these hamsters really are.
• Except for Ian. You can't look at Ian without thinking "child."
• JoJo is getting quite evil in her trashtalking Janelle's looks and surgeries.
• Now, I could do that because I'm not in the house with them.
• But, even though I'm not liking Janelle so much this time around, it's mean.
• Plus, Janelle has power in the game, something JoJo is seriously lacking at this point.
• JoJo once again tried to convince Frank she's good to keep this week over Danielle.
• Britney warned JoJo that she's seen Danielle and Janelle hanging out together a lot this week. She thinks the plan is to get her (Britney) and Dan down to one player each.
• Maybe they're hanging out because Danielle and Janelle rhyme. Did anyone ever stop a moment to consider that?
• Oh? No?
• Danielle asked Jenn what lesbians do during sex.
• Really.
• JoJo worked on Ian. While he said he doesn't know how keeping Danielle could benefit him, he didn't promise anything.
• Frank told Boogie he thinks Dan is throwing all of the coaches comps.
• He is.
• Janelle is ticked because she found out Joe sold out to JoJo for two packs of cigarettes and swore on his kids to her.
• Frank found out that someone indeed go through his bag way back when because they wanted to find proof he was not unemployed.
• I know it was Joe.

Now, tonight's show should be good! I'll update this entry with major events as they air here. However, as always ... the real fun is in the comments area. Come join us!

Nominations key order -- Jenn, Ian, Joe, Wil, Danielle. Shane and JoJo were nominated because they "aligned with Willie."

PoV Player Picks - Frank -- Ian, Shane -- Ashley, JoJo -- Wil. Frank chose Joe as the host.

The PoV was like a fiesta. The competitors were dressed like tortilla chips. They had to go through salsa and dip finding menu items to match a BB menu. Observers had margaritas. Shane wins the Power of Veto!

America's choice for the Have Nots: cereal and salmon, garbanzo beans and giblets, lima beans and lemons.

Veto meeting time -- Shane saves himself (duh). Frank nominates Danielle in his place.  

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Report into Wednesday Morning - July 25

Another fun-filled night in the hamster house! Ohhh ... alcohol, chess and hot tub parties. I don't know if I can stand the excitement! Here's what happened last night in that Big Brother House of Social Rejects:

• Danielle is definitely following her coach Dan's advice to get out there and mingle with others.
• When the alcohol arrived last night, it was decided that Boogie, Danielle, Joe, Britney and Jenn would partake.
• BB doesn't really give them enough for the whole house to really bother drinking, plus those who are Have Nots, Can Not.
• It seems Joe drank the most -- he had a whole bottle of wine to himself.
• He said he likes drama (and I say he likes to cause it) and getting drunk was his drama for the night.
• Britney and Danielle took a bubble bath together in the HoH bathroom.
• Of course, bathing suits were worn. I don't know about Danielle yet, but Britney is not an exhibitionist!
• (It would be interesting if Shane was an exhibitionist.)
• Ahem.
• JoJo wants to use her cigarettes to buy safety with Janelle (her influence, not her vote as she has none).
• @@
• She gave Joe two packs for his vote.
• @@
• She got Shane to promise he has her back.
• That was easy as he already talked to Frank and Boogie and they know he'll be voting to keep her due to team loyalty.
• They're okay with it as the other votes will surely oust her.
• Ian has figured out they earn $107 a day with their stipend monies.
• Multiply that by ten and I may consider applying.
• Janelle's starting to waffle a bit on voting out JoJo. She thinks that it might be a good thing to get Dan out of the house.
• Wil told her if Danielle won HoH, she wouldn't nominate him.
• Yeah, like Danielle could win HoH! Janelle thinks like I do -- Danielle is rather unlikely to win any comps.
• Joe thinks Shane should be targeted next week.
• I'd like to see Joe targeted. He's a loose cannon and I want some drama in the house!
• Janelle thinks Ian is a huge threat.
• HEY! Leave my favorite little hamster alone!
• Joe thinks Ian is hiding things.
• (Says Joe who hid the nicotine patches ...)
• As I get this posted, the hamsters are all still asleep.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Tuesday Evening - July 24

It's still two days away from the live eviction show. What's a hamster to do? Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Repetitive Rodents:

• They awoke to being on an indoor lockdown. Caged hamsters!
• Joe would like a cooking show on TV. Hopefully he'll learn not to lick his fingers and stick them in the food.
• Not much game talk going on at all during the lockdown -- movies talk, murder trials talk, etc.
• They are unaware of the killings in Aurora, CO.
• JoJo made up Shane's eyes and curled his hair.
• He fussed and said it made his eyes look even deeper into his head.
• I don't think Shane will continue the practice of make-up.
• It still seems like JoJo is still targeted to exit this week.
• She doesn't know that, though.
• Once they were let into the backyard, they found no luxury comp.
• It was one of those unknown kind of lockdowns.
• They all ate dinner.
• BB gave them two bottles of wine and some beer.
• Woohoo.

Hey, hamsters! Shake things up a bit, please! Once again the between-comps doldrums have hit the house. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of People You Wouldn't Ask Over For Dinner:

• Apparently JoJo's outfit for the PoV Meeting was a silk robe and heels.
• That doesn't surprise me. She has the "all that and a bag a chips" persona.
• Janelle told Dan that Boogie wanted him out before, but now they think it's best the coaches band together ... thus JoJo will GoGo, not Danielle.
• Ashley cried. She's having second thoughts about evicting Kara.
• Well, it's a bit late for that, girl!
• She also thinks that Frank and Ian have a final two deal.
• Ohh ... BB gave them BEER. Now, that's different!
• Not.
• Jenn asked Ian about the final two deal with Frank. He denied it and claimed that Kara started that rumor on Day 4.
• Jenn let on that it was Ashley saying it now.
• Oh my.
• Ashley is talking up the Oust Ian bit with Shane and others.
• She thinks Ian is sneaky.
• Ashley doesn't trust Joe at all.
• Well, she's right about that one. One out of two isn't bad.
• Ashley thinks that Janelle only cares about Wil.
• Okay ... two out of three.
• Britney is another who knows that Joe keeps lying and instigating.
• Shane thinks they should tell Frank they saw Joe going through his bag just to create a brouhaha. Joe did go through the bag hoping to find evidence that Frank has a job.
• Shane didn't say brouhaha. I did. I like the word.
• Ian wishes they had a fellow hamster in his/her 50s who could tell tales about the olden days.
• Yikes! I feel SO OLD.
• Ashley thinks Janelle is obnoxious, plays dirty and is mean.
• Jackie ain't too thrilled with Janelle so far this season, either. I'm liking Britney much better.
• C'mon, hamsters! Do we need to bring Willie back?
• Oh ... they also spent time trashing Willie. Not unexpected, but the feeds kept cutting out when they talked about things which already obviously happened. @@

Just another day in the Habitrail. We really need to teach these hamsters new tricks to amuse us! Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Falling Cards:

• Unlike his usual practice, Boogie was only up first briefly. He didn't go outside, just to the bathroom.
• Like his usual practice, he didn't wash his hands.
• Ew.
• JoJo was the first actually up this morning, taking in some early morning smokes. I'd imagine she's tense due to the upcoming eviction ... even if she thinks she might be safe.
• Shane and Frank have a safety deal going on for next week if Shane wins HoH.
• Shane's worried about being backdoored next week if he doesn't win HoH.
• He probably should worry no matter what Frank and Boogie tell him.
• As I announced earlier, Shane saved his own butt with the Veto. He might not know the game well, but he's not foolish!
• As expected, Frank nominated Danielle in his place to be on the block with JoJo.
• JoJo thinks America loves her and Shane because they're "so real."
• Cough.
• I like to ogle Shane. I don't love HoJo JoJo.
• Janelle thinks "Shane sucks and is bland."
• Jackie thinks "Shane is fine eye candy."
• Janelle and Ashley want to distance themselves (on the surface) from Danielle and suggested she (Danielle) try to work herself in with Ian.
• Oh great. Another inorganic chemistry discussion!
• Heck, it's still better than the previous season hamsters always talking movies and movie stars!
• Ian told Danielle that he thinks she will be safe.
• Shhh, Ian! Loose lips and all, y'know!
• Dan wore a hat Memphis gave him.
• JoJo (a recruit who never watched the show until she was in sequester) has no clue who Memphis is.

Just a quick note -- as expected, Shane took himself off the block. Danielle is up in his place. But we knew that would happen. A full report will be up here in a while.

GAH! They have Ian smoking!

Ian promised his mother he wouldn't smoke in the house. Ian doesn't smoke. He said he'd partake in some of the alcohol because, after all, he is 21 years old. "But, no, Mom. I won't smoke." GAH! I blame JoJo.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Bad Influences:

• They're trying to figure out what the next twist will be --- a team reshuffle? Someone coming back?
• We know as much as they know about that ... nothing.
• Boogie would like Jenn and Ian to step up and win some comps.
• I can see Ian winning a mental one. But Jenn? Hmmm ...
• Boogie told Ian not to talk strategy with Joe because Joe's way too paranoid.
• I personally think that Joe is just a teensy bit more stable than Willie Hantz.
• He's not only paranoid and puts his fingers in food, he also runs around instigating problems.
• After an extended indoor lockdown due to some concert in the area, the hamsters found a new bocce ball set in the yard.
• Janelle made apple crisp and then regretted it. She said she should have put herself on slop this week because she's eating too much.
• Wil told Joe that they should get rid of Frank or Ian next week and team up with Shane.
• Silly Wil. Why tell Joe anything?
• Why team up with Joe?
• JoJo is continuing to quietly offend people with her crassness.
• Hey, she's Staten Island. That can be abrasive without even trying!
• 'Nuff said.
• They had dancing lessons amongst themselves. For what it was worth ...
• Ashley braided Danielle's hair.
• It still looks like JoJo will be going home this week.
• The PoV meeting hasn't been held yet, but Shane is going to save himself. (Duh.)
• Danielle will probably go on the block.
• But no one really wants to send her home and boot Dan from the game so early.
• Plus, JoJo is more abrasive than Danielle.
• After JoJo gave Ian a cigarette, he claims he smokes one a day.
• He doesn't look comfortable smoking cigarettes.
• JoJo told Ian she's bisexual.
• Hopefully Jenn will run the other way!

Big Brother 14: Nominations & WILLIE Episode Blog Party - July 22

Now, tonight's show should be good! It's even starting on time here on the East Coast! WOOHOO! I'll update this entry with major events as they air here. However, as always ... the real fun is in the comments area. Come join us!

Coaches comp time -- 90s urban scene wearing MC Hammer harem pants. Transfer cash along balance beam. Dan will throw it to keep his weak team persona. Brit was doing the best, then dropped cash and got the boot. Boogie screwed up and stepped off before hitting the button, Janelle wins!

Janelle chooses to save Ashley. The Have Nots are: Willie, JoJo, Shane and Ian.

Pork rinds and pudding are the Have Not treats.

Finally, the Willie drama. He tells the crew in HoH he's going to get evicted before he gets evicted. He claims he doesn't want his team to suffer for his actions. Ohhh! Joe said something, Willie chased him to the bathroom. So far all we saw is Willie looking threatening and Joe in some odd boxer protective stance while Ian started to head into the fray, then decided not to.

Allison Grodner announced to the HG that Willie is gone.

Due to the drama, they're going to have both nominations and PoV on the Wednesday show.
