Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Friday Morning - Aug. 10

Joe isn't mixing and mingling

I know a lot of folks were disappointed with the outcome of last night's eviction. However, with the meddling by production yesterday, I would have been more disappointed had the producers "saved" Janelle and didn't let the game run its course as by the hamsters themselves. Each season the producers seem more and more involved in directing what they want to happen. It should be up to the hamsters themselves, no matter the outcome, no matter if a fan favorite gets the boot.

Here's what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Hamster Harmony (or not):
  • When the live feeds returned post-show, all were gathered in the kitchen munching pizza and other stuff.
  • That is, except Joe.
  • He was alone in one of the bedrooms, probably figuring he's doomed this week.
  • The cheese does indeed stand alone.
  • Dan told the others about how he calls Julie Chen "Mrs. Chen" and how she admonishes him.
  • Britney seemed deflated by all of the action. She said she didn't hear the last song well. She really wanted that HoH.
  • The hamsters wondered what BB's edit on Janelle was, whether it showed her lying and personal attacks.
  • No, it did not.
  • Danielle thinks America hates her.
  • Well, perhaps not America on the whole (mainly because only a small percentage of America watches the show). But Janelle fans for sure.
  • Britney thinks it's her fault that Frank won -- she shouldn't have put Boogie and Frank together in the comp.
  • Frank and Boogie talked about who he (they) should nominate.
  • Frank kind of likes the idea of Dan up just to see him sweat like Frank has had to do almost every week.
  • Boogie isn't too keen on Danielle/Dan going up as they might need their votes.
  • Frank will talk to the Six and see if there's a volunteer ... maybe Shane.
  • Of course, without saying (although I'm sayin'), Joe would be on the block with whomever.
  • Jenn actually cooked instead of Joe.
  • Ashley is worried that after Joe goes they're going to "pick us off one by one."
  • Well, duh.
  • Britney said Janelle seemed to know she was leaving -- she (Janelle) said goodbye to her and wished her luck before the show.
  • Janelle apparently got more money than Britney to be in the show this summer.
  • Danielle (numerous times) fussed about whether people think she's a bad person.
  • I don't think she's a bad person, per se. An extremely annoying person, yes. An extremely needy person, yes. Bad? Probably not.
  • Frank and Big Ted (the bear) got the key for the new HoH room.
  • Fun was had by all.
  • Except maybe Joe.
  • BB gave them booze -- 8 cans of beer and a bottle of wine.
  • Joe tried to tell Wil, Ian and Jenn that Janelle told lies about them to get him (Joe) not to trust them.
  • He's backpedaling now.
  • I think it's going to be way too late.
  • Right now, all are asleep.
  • It sounds like, listening to Frank and Boogie, that no matter who is with him, it will be Joe out the door this week.
  • Huh.
  • Maybe he can win the PoV comp to save himself.
  • Yeah ... like THAT is gonna happen!

Big Brother 14: Live Eviction and HoH Comp Show Blog Party - Aug. 9

BB12 Blogo 3

Well, tonight's the big night. It appears that BB might have tried to mess with the decisions made by the hamsters on the live feeds. I guess we'll see. Now, you need to remember this is just a show. I know it's easy to get really hooked on a player, but (thankfully) it's not OUR lives going on here! ;-)

As the show airs, I'll update this post with major happenings. But the real fun, as always, is in the comments area. Come join us1!

Janelle is going around polling for votes. Everyone is lying to her, saying they'll vote for her to stay.

Ashley and Ian's mothers are in a segment about their "showmance."

The nominees get to plea their case. Frank -- keep it classy. Janelle -- Amazing summer, love all of you ... no hard feelings if you can't.

The live vote to evict --
Boogie -- Janelle
Jenn -- Janelle
Joe -- Frank
Wil -- Janelle
Commercial time.
Ashley -- Janelle
Britney -- Janelle
Shane -- Janelle
Dan -- Janelle
Ian -- Janelle

Eight to one, Janelle is evicted from BB14.

HoH comp at hand. Big Brother Battle of the Bands. Hear short song referring to a comp, must identify the kind of comp.

Jenn out. Joe out. Wil out. Shane out. Ashley out. Dan out. Boogie out. Ian out. Britney out.

Frank is the new HoH.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Overnight Wednesday into Thursday - Aug. 8-9

Catty

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Loony Losers:
  • Now, in addition to Frank and Boogie thinking Thursday might be a double eviction, Ian is thinking along the same lines.
  • There are too many people and too few weeks ahead to empty the house at one a week for the halfway party.
  • Frank was allowed out of the Spiritard for the party.
  • Wil, Frank and Jenn joked about how nasty their goodbye messages are to Janelle.
  • Is that really necessary?
  • Frank said that Janelle only apologized (for saying she hates him) because she wants to be fan favorite.
  • @@
  • I personally kind of hope Ian has that honor in the bag.
  • Janelle, while pressuring Dan for votes, said she thinks it would be illogical to evict her. She could work against Frank and Boogie.
  • Alas, I don't think that's what THEY are thinking, Janey.
  • Frank told Dan that he thinks that Wil, Jenn and Ashley are in an alliance.
  • No #&$#, Sherlock! At least, unlike Joe coming up with that alliance, Frank left Ian out of it.
  • Frank also mentioned putting up Dan or Shane if he or Boogie won HoH.
  • Pawn, of course.
  • Dan wasn't keen on that idea at all.
  • Britney still feels bad about the whole Janelle thing.
  • Wil said that Joe is "redneck trash." Not to his face, of course!
  • Danielle told stories ... forever ... again and again.
  • Woe is me. I had to keep switching cameras.
  • I don't really care for Danielle's perceived view on things.
  • Everyone is being evasive or outright lying to Janelle about the planned vote.
  • Diary Room told Britney she/they cannot tell Janelle about the real votes planned.
  • Thus, Janelle thinks she has hope.
  • But I think she might deep down inside know a blindside is coming.
  • Amongst her many stories, Danielle told Dan that she had struggled with anorexia.
  • @@ If she did, she shows absolutely no signs of it now. She's always munching on some snack or another.
  • Perhaps out of boredom, Wil painted cat faces.
  • So, that's it heading into the big eviction day.
  • It looks like Janelle is indeed going out either 8-1 or 9-0.

Yes, Jenn is still there

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Monday Evening - Aug. 8

The Odd Couple

After two hours or so of inexplicable trivia running on the feeds, I've had it. No, they are not playing a game. They're on an indoor lockdown, not unusual for the day before the HoH comp. In one brief return from the feeds showed them sitting in the same places discussing trivial (not trivia) things. For some reason, BB is blocking huge blocks of time from us tonight. Grr. Here's what's happened in that Big Brother House of Mysterious Feed Blocking:
  • Boogie told Britney he thinks that two people will go home next week.
  • Dan and Ian both think nothing like that will happen this week due to all of the excitement with the coaches coming in last week.
  • All three are probably right.
  • Boogie still thinks Danielle's lying about being a kindergarten teacher. He feels she's trying to sell it too hard.
  • Boogie and Britney thought perhaps a medical student, but Boogie doesn't think she's smart enough for that.
  • Heh.
  • Boogie guess nurse.
  • Ding, ding! Give that man a prize!
  • I personally don't get all the lying in the first place.
  • Britney tried to warn Danielle that Shane isn't all that into her, a showmance rarely works out and she'll probably never see him once their BB lives calm down.
  • Danielle all of a sudden worried about her love interest at home, Trey.
  • It seems like he's not as interested in her as she is in him, too.
  • She doesn't know where their relationship stood when she left for the show.
  • I sense a pattern here.
  • Dan wants to warn Janelle she's going home.
  • Boogie doesn't want him to and mentions that the rules prohibit it, too.
  • Joe told Shane he's solid with him, Danielle, Britney and Dan.
  • As if!
  • Joe also told Shane that Ian, Jenn, Wil and Ashley have a strong alliance.
  • Oh. Really?
  • Too bad Ian is in with Danielle, Shane, Britney and Dan.
  • Joe thinks he will eventually win a few HoH comps.
  • When? After the season ends?
  • Janelle apologized to Frank for saying she hated him. She said that if she goes home tomorrow, she wanted him to know she didn't mean it.
  • He accepted the apology.
  • Britney's conscience is getting to her. She's tired of lying to Janelle and having second thoughts about the whole thing.
  • Okay, the feeds came back. They had their halfway party with pizza and booze.
  • Boogie thinks that means that two people will be going home this week, if not tomorrow night, then Sunday.
  • I do realize that numbers-wise, they are not at the halfway point.
  • But timewise, they are a few weeks off, too.
  • Hmm.
  • Apparently Janelle started a food fight and the party got cut short.
  • Life goes on.

Big Brother 14: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Aug. 8

BB12 Blogo 3

Tonight, tonight ... for those who don't follow the live feeds, there will be surprises tonight. As the show airs here, I'll update this entry with any major news. However, as always, the real fun is in the comments. I hope to see you there!

Ian tries to find a new alliance with Dan, Britney, Shane and Danielle.

PoV Players picks: Danielle -- Shane, Frank -- Jenn, Wil -- Ian. She chose Dan to host the comp.

The PoV comp has them throwing balls up a ramp at a numbered target field. As eliminated, they get to pick a prize, can exchange and take the prizes of others, etc. We know how this works.

Shane out first -- got the veto. That won't last! Wil second out, won a veto ticket to play in next week's comp. He traded and took Shane's veto. Jenn out -- got a Maui vacation. Ian out -- he gets to live a dog's life for 24 hours, living outside in a pen, walked on a leash, etc. He kept it so Jenn could keep her vacation. Frank out, $5,000. He took the PoV from Wil. Danielle won a Spiritard, took the PoV from Frank.

Danielle now has all the power.

America's Vote for the Have Nots: rice cakes and rutabagas, candy canes and cod, onions and oat bran.

Ian solidifies a final five deal with Dan, Shane, Britney and Danielle -- the Quack Pack.

Boogie brings up the idea of backdooring Janelle to Danielle.

As Boogie is trying to talk Dan into the Janelle plan, Britney and Janelle arrive to talk about the coaches alliances. Boogie refuses to work with Janelle and lose Frank this week. Since they believe Janelle lied, Dan agreed to work with Boogie.

They had an HoH Crew meeting -- Ian, Dan and Danielle were for getting Janelle out, Shane and Britney were neutral. Majority wins. They call in Boogie -- new alliance with Frank added, Ian not -- Silent Six. (Boogie doesn't know Ian is in.)

Danielle saves Wil at the PoV meeting, puts Janelle on the block. Britney put a shocked look on for Janelle.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Wednesday Morning - Aug. 8

More like a fool patch than a soul patch

My apologies for being gone for about 24 hours. Some real life stuff came up, so I've had to flashback and catch up here! Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Whacked Out Willies. Okay, Willie ain't there. But, still ...!
  • Britney and Boogie discussed the Joe issues.
  • Did you know that Joe asked Janelle how long it would be until her husband fooled around with the nanny?
  • How dare he!
  • And, of course, Joe is her closest ally right now. With friends like that ...
  • Britney and Boogie also complained about Joe never cleaning up his own dishes.
  • Boogie has railed on Britney before for never washing any dishes at all.
  • Janelle thinks Danielle indicated that she will be staying this week.
  • Um, no.
  • I realize many blog readers are adamant Janelle fans. But she has been playing differently this season. She's flipping around alliances, betraying friends and generally being a "mean girl." It doesn't really matter that others are mean girls/boys. The point is that Janelle has built a reputation for not playing like that and now she is. Chances are had she played like she played before, she wouldn't be in the predicament she's in right now.
  • Ashley is off the Janelle ship (again or still). She keeps catching Janelle in lies she knows are lies.
  • OMG ... if stoned gal Ashley is catching the lies, they're bad lies!
  • Joe promised his alliance to Danielle in a long talk where he fussed mostly about Wil.
  • Wait. Wasn't Joe Janelle's biggest cheerleader?
  • No one, even Dense-lle (er, Danielle), believe anything said by Joe.
  • Perhaps his fool patch is guiding his destiny.
  • Joe told Danielle that Wil was talking about getting rid of her and Dan after she nominated him.
  • Well, duh. Not to defend Wil as he's a definite loose goose, if I were nominated, I'd talk about taking down those who nominated me!
  • All think that Joe will be the lone vote to keep Janelle. However, Joe is stating he will vote with the house.
  • Yeah, like that's gonna save him next week! @@
  • Meanwhile, Janelle seriously thinks she has votes to stay. I bet deep down inside she knows it's not going to happen.
  • How dumb is Danielle? (Say after me: "I don't know. How dumb is Danielle?")
  • She thinks the "L" is pronounced in "salmon" yet doesn't pronounce the "i" in "halibut."
  • Janelle told Shane she didn't want to be blindsided. Shane did NOT say he would vote for her to stay, but instead said he'd like Frank gone.
  • It's not the same.
  • If she honestly believes she has votes to stay, Janelle will be blindsided tomorrow night.
  • :-(
  • Danielle got the HoH camera, skipping over taking any Janelle pics until Britney got in with her on a few shots.
  • Now, that is mean. But Danielle's kind of off to begin with and Britney had the reputation of being a mean girl the last time around.
  • That said, I don't think Britney is actually mean. To be truly a mean girl, you have no conscience. Britney lets herself get bothered, saddened and upset by things going on.
  • Of course, that doesn't stop the trashtalking of other.
  • But, then again, half of the live feeds each season consists of trashtalking other hamsters for whatever.
  • Wil pointed out that Joe was the first one to talk of getting rid of the coaches and now Joe is blaming that on him.
  • Danielle is worried about what people outside of the house will think of her for putting Janelle up.
  • Actually, that move might be the least of her worries. Danielle should worry about throwing herself all over a protesting Shane and just being clueless.
  • Janelle now thinks Wil is responsible for her getting nominated.
  • Nope. Wil had absolutely nothing to do with it. It was Boogie and Danielle. Not even Dan and Britney who would have preferred to keep Janelle in the house for now. Danielle and Boogie bear the blame. Entirely.
  • Danielle's voice is really getting annoying to me on the feeds. It's not AS bad as was Allison's a few years back, but ...
  • Janelle thinks Danielle is easily swayed by men.
  • Y'think?
  • The latest to get upset with Joe for using up too much food is Jenn.
  • Remember Jenn? There is a Jenn in the house.
  • Joe, in his efforts to snag his own cooking show, tends to use up mass quantities of meat and fish which should last longer in the house.
  • Britney apologized to Ian for letting Boogie know that Joe propositioned him to join the Loser's Alliance with himself, Ashley and Jenn.
  • Er, I meant the OUTSIDER'S Alliance.
  • How dumb is Danielle? (Say after me: "I don't know. How dumb IS Danielle?")
  • Danielle is SO dumb that she doesn't get Britney's point that if she (Danielle) has a blatant showmance with Shane, they'll likely be put on the block together to split them up.
  • Shane is still downplaying an actual showmance albeit spending more attention to her mainly because she's HoH.
  • He be a user, for sure.
  • Joe told Janelle that everybody in the house is sketchy.
  • Well, yeah.
  • That's where we stand going into the day before eviction.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Tuesday Morning - Aug. 7

Reflective Janelle ... or her shoulder itched

What's been happening in that Big Brother House of It's All a Spool of Lies? Read on ...
  • Well, they got a badminton set to take their minds off their troubles.
  • After reading her pink bible in her pink shirt, Janelle went to work.
  • I don't think it's doing any good.
  • Sure, it's a game of lies and deceit, but she's telling stupid lies which have four witnesses saying otherwise.
  • She thinks she has Dan and Britney's vote, maybe Shane's.
  • She's dreaming.
  • It's sad to see her in this position.
  • But, even the other coaches said it -- had she played like she did in previous seasons, she wouldn't be in this position.
  • Instead, she became a mean girl with foolish lies, jumping atop of whomever had power in the house.
  • Although Wil is so happy to be off the block, he and Jenn are getting worried about their place in the game.
  • They think they should join forces with Joe and Ian to make an outsiders alliance.
  • Little do they know that Ian is NOT an outsider anymore.
  • He's trusted by Dan, Britney, Danielle and Shane.
  • It's not that Boogie and Frank don't trust him, per se. It's more like they don't trust his judgment and feel superior to him.
  • And Ian knows that.
  • He's so happy he's fallen into a group who treat him nice and actually enjoy his company, opinions and more.
  • Right now it looks like there's no chance of Janelle surviving this week.
  • A shame, a real shame.
  • I wish she was like she used to be.
  • Me? I'd still love to see Ian take it all! :-)
  • How about you?

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Monday Afternoon - Aug. 6

On the block

Well, she done did it. The last waffling took hold and now Janelle is on the block. Yipes! Here's what happened so far today in that Big Brother House of Shock and Awe:
  • Early in the morning, both Boogie and Frank were uncertain if Danielle would actually go through with the backdoor Janelle plan.
  • Frank said he really can't take Danielle, but Boogie claimed she'd be very "gutsy" if she actually uses the veto and puts Janelle on the block.
  • Boogie is almost gleeful thinking of the plan working.
  • Ugh.
  • Danielle actually did a no-no -- she told Wil she was going to take him off the block.
  • He, of course, is thrilled.
  • He forgives her for putting him up there though promised safety.
  • She also told him it was Janelle going up in his place.
  • She acted like it was always the plan.
  • @@
  • Shh ... it's a secret.
  • She didn't tell him that anybody else was involved in her plan.
  • Then Wil went and told Frank that if he (Wil) was taken off the block, he wouldn't vote to evict him (Frank).
  • @@
  • The live feeds were blocked for the PoV meeting. When they came back on, Janelle was indeed on the block and Wil was off.
  • Danielle told Janelle that she heard she (Janelle) was going to be coming after her.
  • Janelle denied all.
  • Janelle was shocked.
  • Wil was in awe that Danielle actually saved him.
  • There's your "Shock and Awe."
  • Dan told Danielle he thinks she made the move a bit too soon.
  • Danielle told Dan that she told Janelle he had nothing to do with the decision.
  • Britney is just playing dumb like she didn't know it was happening.
  • She was never really on board with it, but was privy to all of the discussions.
  • Boogie has a new found respect for Danielle.
  • I wonder why.
  • Janelle is upset that she didn't have make-up on for the meeting as she didn't think she'd be going on the block.
  • Dan told Janelle that he thought he had talked Danielle out of putting her on the block, but then fell asleep.
  • Danielle, to her credit, is taking all of the heat and telling Janelle it was all her doing -- not Dan's.
  • Janelle talked to Joe and Wil looking for votes. Both told her they'd vote for her to stay.
  • When Wil left, she told Joe he (Wil) was lying.
  • Joe said he'd find out and report back.
  • Wil and Ashley think that Joe is the only one on Janelle's side.
  • What? Ashley has been her BFF ... at times!
  • Joe is getting a bit Willie-ish (read: bully) in his behavior again.
  • You'd think HE was the one going home!
  • Both Britney and Danielle are waiting for Janelle to explode ... or maybe Joe to explode for her.
  • Wil told Frank and Jenn that Janelle was worse than ever and he knows where his vote is going.
  • Janelle read a pink bible in bed while wearing a pink shirt.
  • She did have her make-up on for that.
  •

Pretty in pink

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Bulletin - PoV Meeting - Aug. 6

Oh my.

She really did it.

Danielle used the veto to save Wil. She replaced him with Janelle.

So, it's Janelle and Frank on the block.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Sunday Night Into Monday - Aug. 5-6

Safe this week?

Guess what? Now they're changing their minds once again! Sheesh. What's wrong with having a plan and actually sticking to it? Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of You're Making Me Dizzy:
  • Boogie and Frank talked about being in the house with a bunch of dumb people.
  • Frank can't wait to make his goodbye tape to Janelle.
  • They think the boot Janelle plan is still on.
  • Danielle and Britney tormented Fran by messing with Big Ted, the big Teddy Bear.
  • Dan talked with Frank.
  • Boogie told Dan that Janelle would go after him if she doesn't go this week.
  • Janelle, lying, told Boogie she wants to work with him (after Frank goes).
  • Boogie, not lying, told Janelle he doesn't want to work with her.
  • They had a coaches meeting.
  • They're not a cohesive bunch.
  • Janelle said they could get together after Frank leaves.
  • Boogie doesn't want to lose his Frankie Boy.
  • Boogie told Dan he wants to sit next to him (Dan) in the end.
  • @@ Sure, Boogie.
  • Now, Dan has drunk the Kool-Aid.
  • He's on board with the backdoor Janelle plan.
  • He told Boogie he'd "try to sell the plan to Danielle."
  • Heck, it's what Danielle WANTS!
  • Britney feels like a bad person because she's lying to Janelle and she's not mean like that ... or she used to be.
  • Britney is crying, tired of lying to Janelle.
  • In a group vote, they decided to go with the backdoor Janelle plan.
  • Dan told Ian he's part of the core group, but Boogie and Frank are part of a secondary group that he (Ian) isn't a part of.
  • Okay. As long as Ian's name isn't up there for eviction!
  • Danielle discussed with Dan her speech bits for the veto meeting during which she plans to remove Wil from the block and put Janelle in his place.
  • As the hamster house turns ...

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Sunday Into the Evening - Aug. 5

His Spiritard zipper is still broken

Surprise, surprise ... all has been re-waffled since my last report. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Indecisiveness:
  • Ian loved sleeping in his doghouse ... probably his best night's sleep in a month.
  • Frank decided he can't work out in his Spiritard because he hasn't another one to change to if he gets sweaty and it "blasts his junk."
  • Ian got on the show the old-fashioned way. He went to a casting call.
  • As opposed to Jenn who somehow got picked by her Facebook page and didn't have a clue about the show.
  • No, BB ... don't even LOOK at my FB page. I'd rather mock hamsters than be one!
  • Danielle thinks that she and Shane are powerhouses like Brendon and Rachel.
  • @@
  • As Britney, Dan and Danielle sat in the HoH room, Britney once again said she thinks they ought to boot Frank this week.
  • As opposed to the late night boot Janelle plan that Danielle and Shane loved when Boogie proposed it.
  • Of course, we know that Dan wants to keep the coaches to help maintain his own safety.
  • Dan once again pointed out that if Frank goes, Boogie becomes virtually powerless. They have Ian, Boogie doesn't. Jenn, basically worthless anyway, also isn't a Boogie fan since he ignored all but his boy Frankie.
  • Boogie told Shane that there's no way he can work with Janelle if Frank leaves.
  • Oh, goody!
  • Ahem.
  • Boogie is still trying to work Shane for the Janelle backdoor plan.
  • Boogie also told Britney that he doesn't want to work with Ian or Jenn.
  • Well, they don't care all that much for him either.
  • Ian has a bit of a soft spot for the guy, but knows he hasn't been treated with any kind of respect from Boogie.
  • After talking with Boogie and deciding that he's just trying to protect his own game (and Frankie Boy), Britney and Dan once again bring up the issues with the Janelle boot vs. Frank boot to Shane and Danielle.
  • They do realize that Janelle wants Boogie out just about as much as Boogie wants Janelle out.
  • Danielle said she had enough. The nominations will remain the same (Wil and Frank) and Frank will go home.
  • Janelle is now working her way into the current HoH gang ... once again.
  • Both she and Boogie are playing smarmy this season. Either could go. Boogie isn't AS bad as he was in previous seasons -- he's not anything like they're showing on the show, Diary Room must be instigating that. But Janelle is SO much different than in previous seasons. :-(
  • Dan and Britney are pretty much the same as they ever were.
  • They've decided, because of the blindside move last week, they will hint to Frank that he's probably going.
  • They can't outright tell him as that's against the rules.
  • But, of course, nothing will be said or done until after the PoV meeting tomorrow.
  • Ian was released from his dog garb and ways.
  • Frank has to wear the Spiritard for a week ... or, up until his (probable) eviction on Thursday night.
  • In the latest talk, Britney is a bit ticked at her boy Shane as he told Frank that it was Britney pushing to put him up last week.
  • Well, it was.

Ian's costume is HOT, not HOTT

Who's the HoH this week? Dan

Big Brother 14: HoH Results, Nominations Show Blog Party - Aug. 5

BB12 Blogo 3

Welcome aboard the Good Ship Blog Party! Now, if you've been following the live feeds and/or the reports I write up here, you already know who won the HoH Endurance Comp on Thursday night. If not, you're in for a surprise!

As the show airs here in the Northeast, I'll be updating this entry with the major happenings. However, as always, the real fun is in the comments area. Come join in with your comments!

After the inevitable recapping of previous events, it's to the HoH endurance. We all know that all but Boogie hit the button, but Britney and Janelle are denying it. Britney tells us she hit it because she had no chance to win as a coach with one player left. Janelle told us she just wants to win. Dan loves to play the game. Boogie just wanted to coach this year.

Boogie jumped out first. Then Jenn. Then Joe. Then Ashley at near two hours. Dan shortly after. Frank out. Boogie told him that Dan had told just before the comp that Frank had been the target.

Danielle promised to keep Wil safe. Wil and Shane jump at the same time. Janelle jumped figuring Britney looked solid and would have her back. Over three hours into it, Ian jumps after being guaranteed safety, then Britney the same. Danielle wins HoH!

She wants to put Boogie and Frank on the block so that one will go home. Dan, thinking of himself wanting all the coaches in still to make him a lesser target, is pushing for a Wil/Frank nom.

Nominations time! The key order: Britney, Ian, Dan, Janelle, Jenn, Shane, Ashley, Joe, Boogie. She went with Dan's nominations -- Wil and Frank.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Report into Sunday Morning - Aug. 5

Bubble bath time!

Are you ready for your Sunday morning waffles? What started out as a funny but rather boring costumed after PoV comp night took yet a new twist. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Changing Tides:
  • Ian is still taking to his costume well. He needs to be kept on the leash whenever outside of his little dog house enclosure in the yard.
  • Frank proved too busty for his Spiritard. The back zipper broke and no one is on staff to fix it until Monday morning.
  • Thus, Frank is in a half-Spiritard.
  • But that's not the big news.
  • The big news is that Boogie got out of his slump and into the game once again.
  • Y'see, both he and Janelle excel at mind tricks and deception.
  • Britney and Dan, on the other hand, are more into figuring out mind games and deception than they are at practicing it.
  • But, like the Godfather himself, Boogie offered up a scenario which is hard to refuse.
  • His idea? Join forces, Danielle use the veto to pull Frank off the block and ... wait for it ... wait for it ...
  • Put Janelle on the block and get her out this week.
  • Dan is skeptical of the plan as he knows how Boogie works.
  • Shane and Danielle have drank the Kool-Aid and feel that Janelle would definitely target them next week.
  • Britney doesn't really trust either Boogie or Janelle.
  • There do seem to be more good points to this plan than bad -- Boogie and Frank working with DSDB is safer than them working against them.
  • Danielle really dislikes Janelle.
  • Janelle is playing super shady with her lies and mind games this season and isn't loyal to anyone but herself.
  • Boogie is right when he said he's stuck to his alliances.
  • Janelle stands a better chance to win a comp than either Frank or Boogie, neither of which has performed all that well in comps.
  • Dan, although skeptical of Boogie, decided they need to add Ian in the mix. Ian was NOT brought up by Boogie in his HoH talk with them.
  • But Dan is really gung-ho on getting Ian aboard.
  • So they (DSDB) talked to Ian. His role is more of a double agent within a single alliance. DSDB will be more faithful to Ian than to either Boogie or Frank. Ian will be privy to the inner circle of the group and not share with Boogie or Frank.
  • They plan to talk to Boogie and Frank to tell them they want Ian aboard with them for more numbers, but nothing about how in he really is with the group.
  • Ian already has a name planned for the alliance, but we got fish.
  • Dan is still worried that Danielle is playing personal (due to her dislike of Janelle), but is slowly coming aboard.
  • If they do team up, they would control the vote to get Janelle out.
  • Also, if they do team up, the peripheral players -- Wil, Joe, Jenn, Ashley -- would be easily expendable in the coming weeks.
  • Will they waffle again before the PoV meeting?
  • It's really looking like Janelle may be out the door early.
  • Dan is worried.
  • However, I'm privy to stuff Dan isn't. I saw Boogie and Frank talking. Boogie is apparently on board with the alliance. It isn't just a mind game -- in the end he would be betray them, but not until then.
  • I just don't know.

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was - August 5, 2012

Happy Sunday morning, world! If you're looking for Big Brother live feeds content, those posts can be found at this link right here. I posted one late last night and another will be posted later this morning. This post is my weekly off television topic reflection on the week gone by in both words and photographs I've taken. If you're here for the show, you may feel free to stay and read this ... or not.

Once again we had an incredibly uncomfortable weather week here in Plainfield, NJ. Humid, hot, sticky, rainy, stormy and just bleh! I'm SO not a fan of hot and humid weather. I hate standing still in the shade yet sweating profusely. And, no. I don't glow. I sweat. Wah! Although, I'll admit, I do enjoy a cool thunderstorm as long as I'm not caught out in it and my power remains on.

On the home front, I mentioned a week or two ago that it probably wouldn't be long before someone stole the video cameras the new landlord put at the entrances. Welp, the one from the side entrance went missing Thursday sometime between the time I left for work and returned home. The front door one is still there and I didn't bother checking the back door. I hope the jerk who stole it didn't realize it's being filmed in a locked room in the basement. I blame the riff-raff from the front section of the building.

In between going a bit bonkers between work and the BB14 live feeds reports on the blog, I've been going over my photos to submit for the Plainfield Library Photo Contest. You can submit five and I have a pretty solid four chosen so far. It's not the easiest theme for me -- Plainfield, Dining In or Dining Out. I see so many cool restaurant shots I could take through windows. But I don't want people to think I'm a creeper.

I think this weather is putting a damper on my photo taking inspiration. I didn't get many shots that I really thought were good this week. Here's the best of the ones I took:

On a fallen limb
On a limb

Although many limbs are still down from a storm the previous week, I believe this one on the lawn of the Plainfield Quaker Meeting House was actually cut.

More flowers!

Yes, there was rain. Sigh.
