Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Monday Evening - Aug. 21

Frank channels Richard Simmons at times

I'm not sure I can endure two more days of this until the (double) eviction. It could be worse. I could be Joe. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Whirling Dervishamsters:
  • Oh my gosh, what a mess.
  • Frank and Boogie have been after Joe all day and even part of last night.
  • Ashley's at him.
  • The HoH crew is after him.
  • He seems to be with the HoH crew.
  • He has a talk with Ashley, she runs to Boogie and Frank and repeats it verbatim.
  • Well, that is until Joe plops down in a chair with them.
  • Heh.
  • Then Joe tells Britney all of what Ashley said.
  • She's definitely voting for Boogie. So, it should be her and Frank, possibly Ian as a cover.
  • Dan, Danielle, Britney and Joe should vote to rid the house of Boogie.
  • Joe's been saying all evening he's going to tell Frank that he's decided to go with the others.
  • He did tell Jenn that Ashley said she'd be voting to keep Boogie.
  • Of course, Ashley told Jenn she was voting to keep her.
  • Secret Squirrel Ian has become almost a smooth liar in a matter of a few weeks.
  • Dan seems to be laying low, mainly in the HoH room, occasionally appearing in the yard to play pool.
  • For all of his talk and posturing, Joe ain't no tough guy.
  • I don't think he's going to have his big confrontation with Frank and/or Boogie.
  • At least not tonight.
  • I notice BB hasn't given them any alcohol tonight.

All hail Ian ... oh, they will. They will.

Professional camera work, minimum wage!

Mr. Spock called. He wants his eyebrows back.

I admit to taking a few editing liberties to her ear, but swear I didn't mess with her eyebrows!

Ohhhmmm

I should elbow that floater in the ribs

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Monday Afternoon - Aug. 21

The PuppetMaster has arrived

Yep, just after I finished posting this morning's report (I'm East Coast), a huge flying American cockroach divebombed Boogie and Frank in the backyard. I'm talking HUGE. I think Boogie might have recruited it for his alliance.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves:
  • While it was still night there (morning here!), Danielle climbed atop of Shane in bed and molested him.
  • Ew.
  • He did NOT encourage her.
  • Ew.
  • Shane told Danielle she had no self control.
  • Apparently no dignity, either.
  • Bitter Boogie Boy told Frank that if he goes out Thursday, he's going to go have sex with Dan's wife.
  • He didn't put it quite so nicely, but I try to keep a PG-rated blog going here.
  • He also said that he'd tell Joe he couldn't cook and that he blew his chance at a show because he (Boogie) owned 17 restaurants in the past 11 years.
  • Um. How many of them does he currently own? How many went out of business? Inquiring minds want to know!
  • Frank and Boogie think they have the votes for Boogie to stay: Frank, Ian, Ashley, and ... and ... oh noes, they need one more!
  • Joe! They need Joe's vote!
  • So they worked on him on and off and many times today.
  • It's kind of like a Vulcan Mind Meld, but they didn't touch him.
  • "Here, drink this Kool-Aid, Joe. All of your problems will be solved. You wouldn't be the low man on the totem pole with OUR Kool-Aid alliance!"
  • Oh. They don't know they don't have Ian's vote either.
  • Oh. And probably not Ashley's. That one is a bit hazy. She's promised both Boogie and Jenn votes and it's hard to tell what her muddled mind will do. She might vote to evict Benji for all I know.
  • But he will have his bromance boy Frank voting for him to stay! You can take that to the bank, Boogie!
  • Oh. And he doesn't have Joe's vote, either.
  • Oops. Too bad, so sad!
  • Joe, of course, ran right to Dan and Shane with Boogie's tales.
  • Boogie keeps talking about wanting to punch Dan. He blames all of this on Dan.
  • Wait until he sees the tapes and his boy Ian.
  • I think even the Boogie will have to say, "Well done."
  • Boogie also keeps saying how much he hates all the people, the losers in the house.
  • When Boogie told Joe they for sure had Ian's vote, Joe went to Ian.
  • Ian is still playing Secret Squirrel and told Joe of course he's voting for Boogie to stay. Boogie all the way!
  • Joe is freaking within. He's popping Advil like crazy. I don't think he deals with the stress well. He had a panic attack and claims his blood pressure is acting up.
  • Dan is more like Cool Hand Luke. I forgot how good he actually is.
  • Boogie told Frank it would be the ultimate betrayal if Ian went to the other side.
  • Heehee.
  • Joe promised Jenn he will not vote her out. So did Dan.
  • Well, duh on the Dan vote. Did she actually think he'd want Boogie to stay?
  • Britney is upset that Boogie is so angry at everyone and the world in general.
  • Well, he's a poor sport. He's the Boogie. He should be King of his Hamsters.
  • Joe doesn't think he'll last the night without telling Boogie where his vote really is (Boogie out).
  • Uh-oh.
  • As a personal bit, I want to thank those who have given a donation this year. It's very appreciated and even makes the lack of sleep a bit easier to handle. Thank you!

Ew! Ew! Danielle molesting Shane! Ew!

Desperation in digital

Why is she even worried that he'd vote for Boogie to stay?

What a tangled web we weave ...

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Monday Night Into Tuesday - Aug. 20-21

Duh. I don't know how to play the game.

Another night of tension in the house. But, hey ... they knew the job was dangerous when they took it, Fred. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Allies and Enemies:
  • The HoH crew talked about how Jenn has done absolutely nothing in the game so far.
  • Meanwhile, Jenn kept fussing about the huge target on her back.
  • Wait ... it suddenly dawned on her that she was the PAWN up with Boogie.
  • Why didn't anyone tell her?
  • Sheesh. She hasn't won anything, has basically been invisible, is put up on the block with the Boogie Boy with the bad reputation and previous winner (thanks to Dr. Will). Did they HAVE to tell her that she's not the target?
  • Jenn still believes that Britney knew nothing of the renom beforehand.
  • Okay, she's as gullible at Shane and Danielle.
  • Jenn also complained that the HoH crew was celebrating with their new ally Joe because Joe was making cookies.
  • @@
  • I think Joe often bakes and cooks rather than get involved with the interpersonal stuff. He may realize that his interactions with others aren't as winning as cookies.
  • Huh. I forgot that Jenn is one of the "older" hamsters this year. She's 37.
  • In contrast, Britney will be 25 on Thursday.
  • Joe is still running to the HoH crew reporting on everything he sees.
  • That's a bit different than how Ian is doing it. Ian reports when asked or for important game matters.
  • Joe runs to them about Frank and Ashley being close.
  • Boogie and Frank think they only need Joe's vote to turn it around to a Boogie stay situation.
  • They're wrong.
  • They don't have Ian.
  • They think they do even though they're fussing about Ian being so friendly with Dan.
  • Jenn is still all bent out of shape about being put on the block.
  • I guess she thought invisible stays until the end. Perhaps she thought Adam Poch was the ultimate BB hamster. @@
  • Frank keeps trying to pep talk Boogie.
  • Boogie knows that there's probably no chance in heck he's going to stay.
  • Frank thinks that if Boogie just lightens himself and becomes the "fun Boogie" again, it will help.
  • No, it won't.
  • Ashley told Frank that Boogie has given up and Joe went to the other side.
  • Well, duh.
  • Ian told Ashley that he would vote for Boogie to stay no matter what.
  • I think he's just telling her what she wants to hear.
  • He's still playing the double agent boy.
  • Ian reported his talk with Ashley to Britney.
  • Ian thinks Ashley is sticking like glue to him so he won't be able to talk to the others.
  • Meanwhile, Frank and Boogie are impressed that Ashley has come over to the Dark Side.
  • Maybe the thought of the kiss ...
  • Boogie keeps hatin' on Dan and Danielle even, Shane not as much.
  • Go figure.
  • He wants to expose Danielle as a nurse.
  • That was a stupid lie and most already realize she's not a kindergarten teacher anyway.
  • Boogie and Frank still think they have a chance with Joe even though he called them out as bullies.
  • Now, I think they'd have a chance with Joe if they were HoH crew.
  • That's the way Joe rolls.
  • We have another two days of this, folks!

I do know how to play the game.

I know how to play the game even better.

I know how to cook for y'all

But .. but ... I'm BOOGIE!

Big Brother 24: Live Feeds Monday Daytime - Aug. 20

Seeking the bully within

At least they had the Power of Veto meeting early so that the hamsters can react even longer! Here's the day's events from inside that Big Brother House of Bitter Bully Boogies:
  • Boogie started off first thing in the morning telling Joe what a smooth operator Dan is and how Shane needs to put him on the block.
  • Joe told Boogie that Shane wouldn't tell him who's going up in place of Frank.
  • Boogie went to the HoH room and told Shane that Dan is a coward and playing them all.
  • (Well, yeah. He's playing them all. That's actually a wise way to play the game and Dan knows it. But, coward? Nah.)
  • Boogie is actually indeed right about Dan's approach to the game -- friend to all, let others do the dirty work, etc.
  • But he's already told Shane all of this ... no need to bat him over the head with it again and again.
  • Frank tried again at Shane just before the PoV ceremony.
  • The ceremony (blocked to the feeds) went down.
  • Frank took himself off the block (duh!) and Shane put Jenn in his place.
  • So it's Jenn and Boogie on the block.
  • Oh my gosh, you'd think that Jenn is too self-important to not realize Boogie is ALWAYS the target.
  • She's invisible.
  • Why doesn't she know that?
  • Yeah, Jenn is still in the house.
  • She's all upset about being put on the block knowing that if she's there with Boogie, he'll go home!
  • Britney, covering her bases, told Jenn she had no idea who Shane was going to put up.
  • Jenn believes her.
  • Jenn is blaming her nomination on Dan.
  • Um. Okay. Boogie has got himself a full Dan Haters Not So Anonymous Movement going.
  • She started shooting Dan evil looks with an evil eye and singing "you look so pretty digging your grave" to him.
  • Oh my.
  • One would think that the Invisible Girl is a target, eh?
  • Ashley told Britney she wouldn't vote Jenn out.
  • Remember, they have that girl thing going on.
  • When Jenn confronted Shane, he said that she was telling information to Boogie and was the closest (other than bromance boy Frank) to him.
  • So they're on indoor lockdown.
  • Dan is on a couch reading the bible.
  • Frank, Boogie and Jenn are talking about him as if he wasn't there.
  • Tag-teaming.
  • Dan kept his cool, not even looking up from the bible.
  • Finally Joe called them out as bullies.
  • No, they weren't beating Dan up physically, but they were doing their best to get him mentally.
  • "Just chatting," Boogie said.
  • Yeah, right.
  • Later Dan encouraged Joe to go after them and challenge them like that again if needed.
  • Jenn said that Danielle should have warned her.
  • Danielle cried.
  • Joe still has no clue about Ian's role or the Quack Pack.
  • So he trashtalked Ian about trashtalking Shane to Boogie.
  • Joe told Shane that they need to get rid of the floaters after this.
  • Um ... goodbye, Joe?
  • They are pretty sure it will be a double eviction week although they weren't thinking that way yesterday.
  • Frank told Britney that he'd like to work with her after Thursday.
  • Well, he'd probably like to work with anybody, I'm sure!
  • Joe seriously thinks he's in an alliance with Dan, Britney, Shane and Danielle.
  • He's a vote. Yep. In? Nah, not really.
  • Frank is really pulling Ashley's ear. It's hard to tell if she believes him or not. She should notice that all of his scenarios about the end of the game don't include her.
  • Meanwhile, Dan is getting folks to decide who to vote for in a second eviction if one should happen on Thursday.
  • Oh my. What a stressful house. I'm glad I don't live there!

And Danielle cried

Dan ignores the tag-team bully approach

Jenn claims she'll go "kamikaze"

Ian in the Memphis hat

Big Brother 14: PoV Meeting Bulletin - Aug.20

As expected, Frank saved himself and Shane put Jenn on the block with Boogie.

Target Boogie.

A full report on the day will be posted later tonight.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Monday Wee Hours - Aug. 18-20

Gals in a hammock

At least this season, I don't have to watch Adam standing around all the time. True, I have to listen to Danielle and Joe (both of whom are annoying), but enduring Adam was worse last year. So ... what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of As the Hamster Turns? Read on ...
  • Ashley and Frank really think that Dan needs to go next.
  • After she talked to Shane, Ashley is confident that the replacement nominee will be Joe, Ian or Dan.
  • Buzzzz ... wrong!
  • Joe thinks he has it wrapped up with his latest "news" he's heard within the house -- Ian betrayed his own team!
  • Yep, it was IAN who mentioned cheating immediately after veto to Dan, etc. thus throwing Boogie and Frank under the bus.
  • Well, that's quite the revelation, eh?
  • Of course, it doesn't really matter now so much that Ian isn't "with" Boogie and Frank.
  • And, if Joe wants to use it as Ian can't be trusted, telling the Quack Pack isn't going to mean anything.
  • The Quack Pack minus double agent Ian, think that Ashley has a thing for Frank and can't be trusted.
  • They think Jenn is more honest, but they still think that she would be the better one to put on the block with Boogie.
  • Jenn is more honest because she "said mean things about Dan."
  • The Quack Pack is trying to decide what Shane should say when he nominates her in Frank's place.
  • Ian earlier pointed out that all of that team is in color on the Memory Wall.
  • Ian hurt his ankle playing badminton.
  • Poor kid.
  • Boogie is more resigned to the fact he'll be going home.
  • Poor Boogie.
  • Not.
  • Ian thinks they'll wait until next week for the double eviction so that one person isn't sent to the jury alone.
  • We know he's wrong.
  • With the numbers this week, Boogie should go home. Whoever is the second boot on Thursday should be the first member of the jury.
  • If I were in that house, I'd relish a week alone.
  • Wouldn't you?
  • Sheesh, they just mention "Dairy Queen" and we get fishes.
  • That's one of the code words for Diary Room.
  • Well, as I close ... although they definitely think Ashley is more sketchy and shady, Jenn should be the replacement nominee.

Being Frank to all

Hang down your head, Boogie Malin, hang down your head and cry

Britney is safe, but what about the second boot?

Dan is steady at his game

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Sunday Evening - Aug. 19

Joe pontificating with Britney

"Actions speak louder than words." - Mike "Boogie" Malin

Of course, all there have been all day are words, words and more words. In the end, all that will matter is the decision Shane makes when he replaces Frank tomorrow in the PoV meeting. Actually, that probably won't even matter. I can't see Boogie NOT going home this week. How about you? Think he has any chance to stay?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hectic Hamsters:
  • Joe is saying that Boogie and Frank cheated in the PoV comp.
  • Boogie and Frank now hate Joe.
  • Supposedly, even if they were cheating, the result would have been the same -- a Frank win.
  • We don't know as they blocked the feeds for almost seven hours for the PoV comp and its aftermath.
  • Frank and Boogie know that Ian thinks a lot of Dan.
  • Frank thinks Dan will use Ian and then dump him.
  • As if he and Boogie would never do that!
  • Apparently Joe also somehow almost got Ian disqualified in the PoV.
  • I just don't know.
  • Too much trivia and fishes.
  • Boogie is tired of everyone in the house.
  • I'm tired of him.
  • We'll probably both be granted our wishes this week.
  • Boogie is promising people he'll have their backs if they keep him in the house.
  • Here's a novel idea, Boogie. Their backs won't need that much cover if you're gone!
  • Britney and Shane think that Danielle is overly emotional.
  • Y'think? Really?
  • Britney thinks it's going to be very hard to get Frank out of the house.
  • Y'think? I mean, he's only survived how many times so far? The guy hasn't even cast a vote yet as he goes from nominated to HoH in a cycle.
  • Ian got all excited because Frank and Boogie were going to "go off" on Joe in the backyard.
  • He even made popcorn.
  • Sigh. It was a bust.
  • Of course, Joe (who I feel has a bit of Willie Hantz in him) is unpredictable.
  • I think 90% of that is just flustering foolishness, though.
  • Joe thinks he's in with the HoH crew.
  • Others think Joe butters up whoever is in power and they will cast him aside.
  • Well, yeah. Who seriously wants Joe for more than a vote?
  • The guy's nutty!
  • The Quack Pack figured out it had to be Ashley telling Boogie and Frank that Joe went to the Diary Room to complain about the alleged PoV cheating.
  • Joe told Frank he hasn't been talking about him or saying anything bad for at least two days.
  • BWAHAHAHAHA!
  • Darn, if you're going to lie, at least make it believable.
  • The Quack Pack plus Frank are now more sure than ever that Ashley is "working with" Frank and Boogie.
  • Frank and Boogie are still trying in vain (most likely) to have Shane put up Dan as the replacement nominee.
  • I don't think that's gonna happen.
  • Boogie had a poor pitiful me talk with Britney.
  • Britney later talked about poor pitiful Boogie recently selling his Bentley.
  • Poor Boogie.
  • Boogie is upset that Joe has gone to Dan when he (Boogie) is the one with restaurant and TV connections who could get him a chef show.
  • Yeah, like he would do that.
  • There are moments that it seems like it's really sinking in to Boogie that he will be leaving this week and it saddens him.
  • Aw, poor Boogie.
  • Could those have been real tears he shed while talking with Britney?
  • He told Frank they were.
  • Ian confirmed with Dan that he'll be voting Boogie out this week.
  • Dan reminded Ian that he took all the Frank/Boogie heat when he could have just told them about him (Ian) and his role.
  • Ian is grateful.
  • Me? I'd remind Dan that HE is one of the crew who recruited ME to spy for them and put the blame right back on them!
  • But Ian is more gentle than am I.
  • Frank and Boogie think Ian might be wishy-washy.
  • Heh.
  • Jenn tried to talk the get Dan out bit to Shane, saying he was a slick player and throwing comps.
  • I'd say he already knows, but Shane isn't the brightest bulb in the pack.
  • But I also doubt he'll cross the line and put Dan up.
  • He's already in a bunch of hurt for his initial power move at the request of others.
  • Ashley and Jenn have been drinking the Boogie Kool-Aid.
  • They're expendable, so it doesn't really matter.
  • It's up in the air who Shane will put up, but it's likely to be either Ashley or Jenn.
  • The PoV meeting isn't until tomorrow.
  • The tension goes on ...

Danielle talks with her mouth full

Excitable boy

Shane's really styling, right?

Boogie's in overdrive

Big Brother 14: HoH Results and Nominations Show Blog Party - Aug. 19

BB12 Blogo 3

It seems like so long ago, but the TV viewing audience will get treated to the endurance comp result, HoH winner and nominations tonight. Well, at least those items should be on the agenda!

The show will be starting on time tonight here in the NYC viewing area. Yay! I say that because the season finale of Falling Skies is on at 9pm. I don't want to delay that.

As the show airs here, I'll be updating this entry with major happenings, so please refresh to see the latest news. However, the real fun is in the comments area. Come join us! We don't bite ... hard (as Dr. Will would say).

In the HoH comp, lots of falls. Ouch. Britney won Safety. Boogie got the ten grand. Shane wins HoH.
Ohhh ... the big HoH room reveal. As Boogie says, lots of pictures of his dog, none of his father. His letter was from his sister.

Now we see Ian telling Britney that Boogie was pressuring him to put up Britney and/or Shane if he had won HoH. Britney lets Shane, etc. know. The Quack Pack decides that Frank and Boogie should go on the block together.

Uh-oh, Britney is going to Nair Ian's armpits! The agony! His date with Ashley was a bomb, not the bomb.

They found balls leading to the arcade room where there is now a question mark on a cube in with the balls in the machine.

Nominations today.

Key order: Britney can't be nominated. Danielle, Dan, Jenn, Ashley, Joe, Ian. Boogie and Frank are on the block. Let the fireworks begin!

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Sunday - Aug. 19

Ian yawns, Jackie yawns

I've been a bit on the sidelines with a sprained finger. Ouch, that makes typing more of a task! With the huge feeds blackout yesterday, it wasn't so bad. But I waited so long for the feeds to come back that I didn't cover the fiasco over the drawing for PoV.

It was actually much ado about nothing, built up on the various sites. Boogie apparently got HG Choice, chose Ian. Then, when Frank drew his chip, it was Ian's named as such chip. He had to redraw. He got Ashley. Production didn't like the camera angle they had for the redraw, asked him to do it again. He palmed the Ashley chip and redrew it for the camera. That's all. Not everything is sneaky, Pete!

What has happened since PoV/? Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Guys and Grills:
  • Yes, they got the grill. Joe practically had an orgasm over it.
  • As Joe did Tim Tyler Tooltime grunting, Britney classically rolled her eyes.
  • So did I.
  • But she does it so much better.
  • Earlier, others had made plans for cooking because Joe "didn't feel like it."
  • But the grill changed all that!
  • Ashley is upset with Ian because he apparently said she threw the PoV comp.
  • He apologized. She said she wanted to win.
  • But, seriously folks ... can Ashley win anything? Well, perhaps more than Joe, but ...!
  • BB gave them booze.
  • Frank and Boogie are still on their "get Dan out" agenda.
  • Although I prefer Dan to Boogie, technically they're right. Dan is doing the same thing he did in his season -- laying low playing a good social game and throwing comps. The wins should be right around the corner.
  • Ashley and Britney talked. They'll have to see if Shane wants to go with the original plan -- put up a pawn (like Ashley or Jenn) with Boogie and Boogie goes home or backdoor Dan.
  • Frank told Boogie that if he goes home, he (Frank) will have no one to work with.
  • Really? I guess that's the fee you pay to try to be the new Chilltown.
  • Britney told Ashley the girls need to stick together and let the guys take each other out.
  • Meanwhile, this morning Boogie was trying to rally his original team for his cause -- Frank, Jenn and Ian.
  • Jenn and Ian nodded their heads a lot.
  • Boogie thinks the only people he can work with in the house are idiots and fools. @@
  • Frank's goal this week is to make Dan cry.
  • I don't think that will happen.
  • Frank thinks Joe is a lying so-and-so.
  • He's right.
  • Ian thinks that Joe is putting his name into Shane's head for the "pawn."
  • Joe did tell the HoH crew the truth when he told them that Frank and Boogie have made it a priority to get Dan out of the house.
  • Joe grilled pork chops at 3AM, their time.
  • Britney told Frank she has no idea what Shane will do -- she's been betrayed by all sides.
  • While it's good to tell Frank that, it's not necessarily so. She's privy to "inside info" in HoH, but I noticed that since Shane threw her under the bus, she is a bit more guarded with what she says to him.
  • Boogie said that if they can't get Shane to put Dan on the block, it should be Joe. He thinks he'd have the chance to stay against Joe.
  • I don't think so. I'm not a Joe fan, but more of a "if they have the chance to get Boogie out, do it" fan.
  • Boogie thinks Ian is "tight" with Dan. He still doesn't know that Ian was the leak and he's acting as a double agent. But he sees the friendship and how Ian looks up to Dan.
  • When confronted, Ian said that he would have no problem voting Dan out and that if Dan made it to the final two, he'd win.
  • Ashley said Dan has brainwashed half the house.
  • And so on and so forth.
  • The veto meeting won't happen until tomorrow.
  • So we have more scheming ahead of us.

Joe checks out the new grill

Boogie is starting the scheming game

Britney looks to fish for peace

Jenn is still in the house

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was - August 19, 2012

Good Sunday morning to you! It's time for my weekly off television topic reflection on the week gone by in both words and photographs I've taken along the way. If you're looking for Big Brother content, you can pull up all of those posts with this label link and might want to skip over this particular post. Don't worry, my feelings won't be hurt. But, for those who remain ...

This coming week will break the pattern of hot, humid and stormy. It will keep the stormy part now and again, but the temperatures will be slightly below normal. I'm more than ready for the temperatures to ease. I was probably ready before it ever got hot!

Vincent has fared fine through the hot weather as, in the worst of it, I've left the air conditioner on low for him. However, I'd rather just have the windows open with a gentle breeze wafting in and a lower electric bill. Unfortunately, I have to go out back and forth to work as I am not a spoiled cat.

Let's see ... I seem a bit discombobulated this morning. So, maybe I should just send out random thoughts on the week in my BB live feeds reporting style. Yeah, that's easier than paragraphs! Here we go!
  • I hurt a finger at my workplace. It's making typing a bit hard. I think it might be sprained.
  • I saw a whole bunch of bats in the skies downtown last night as I returned home from work. Cool.
  • The days are getting shorter. Last week it was too rainy, but would have been too light for the bats on my Saturday later return home.
  • I did not win the big Powerball lottery drawing. I bought one ticket. Never gamble more than you wish to throw away.
  • I have been contacted with an intriguing offer to work for a start-up on the Internet which (hopefully) might become another social networking way of life. I'll know more next week after I talk to them on the phone.
  • But, of course, I'll keep my day job. Internet income is so up and down.
  • Right now it's way down.
  • No one stole the cameras at my apartment building. For some reason, the landlord took them down, every one but the front door.
  • I don't use the front door.
  • Even the one in the laundry room is gone.
  • I don't know what's up with that.
  • And now, the front door which had been red, has been painted black.
  • Enough of this, onto the photos!
Clicking on an image will open it in a new window. Clicking again will make it larger. Closing the window will bring you right back here.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Power of Veto Comp Bulletin - Aug. 18

Boogie has a new do

Finally, after a six hour plus feeds block, they came back. Then after a good twenty minutes of no mention, Ian spoke to Danielle and Dan.

"So, Ashley will go up and Boogie will go home?"

Aha! Frank must have won the power of veto!

They said they didn't want to talk out there (Boogie and Frank weren't far away). Danielle did tell Ian he's not on the short list.

Big Brother: Live Feeds Into the Dawn, Saturday - Aug. 18

Playing dumb ... or just plain dumb?

Now, this is classic Big Brother game play -- hurt feelings, throwing friends under the proverbial reality show bus, getting defensive, a few tears ... that's what we're talking about! If you haven't read my previous post, go read it now. Then get back here.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hamster Havoc:
  • Just to recap a bit: As per the decision of the entire Quack Pack (not just one or two, mind you), Shane put Frank and Boogie on the block.
  • Boogie already had it in his mind that if they went up, it would be due to Britney in Shane's ear.
  • Frank already had it in his mind that if they went up, it would be due to Dan in Shane's ear.
  • Nobody is even thinking of Ian in all these tales going about in dizzying circles.
  • Good.
  • So far, in every confrontation, Ian has been protected.
  • First, Boogie and Frank confronted Shane. Newbie that he is, Frank is already good at the BB mind games.
  • Boogie is proving to be a pro at the game.
  • I hate to admit that.
  • But he's no one without a bro at his side, methinks.
  • In that first confrontation, Shane threw Britney under the bus.
  • Mainly because the fish have stronger spines than Mr. Comp Winning Hunk Dude.
  • Shane then told Britney he threw her under the bus. Oh, not in so many words. But she indeed knows he did.
  • So she went to confront Boogie and Frank.
  • While not throwing anyone (other than Shane and how he made the choice) by name, she said she indeed heard they were going to target her and Shane. She admitted to telling Shane that.
  • When she wouldn't give any names, Boogie and Frank turned to blaming Dan.
  • She didn't say no. She didn't say yes.
  • Of course, we know that our boy Ian had a hand in this.
  • His name never came up.
  • So many fake hugs in this game ... Frank and Boogie hugged Britney and said there are options.
  • "This can be fixed." -- Boogie's line of the night.
  • Then Britney confronted Shane and rehashed how he threw her under the bus and how badly he hurt her feelings.
  • Shane is, um ... I want to say a platypus. He's certainly not the sharpest tool in the shed.
  • But he is indeed a tool. That's for sure.
  • That's what we get for BB recruiting folks who've never seen the show.
  • Then Boogie, Frank, Shane, Britney and Dan had a big pow-wow in the HoH room.
  • I'd call that the light into Teflon Dan to see if he will crack meeting.
  • Dan doesn't crack.
  • He doesn't name names. He actually doesn't even sweat or get excited.
  • Later, Boogie and Frank went to Danielle. Oh my. They told her all about Dan and his Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (at the hands of others). Boogie even told Dan's final two deal with him.
  • Boogie and Frank tag teamed Danielle with accusations that her alliance is dissing her, leaving her out to dry.
  • Danielle and Britney bonded more over bubbles. They planned a name for their two girl alliance.
  • Where were Joe, Jenn and Ashley during all of this?
  • Who cares!
  • Dan told Britney he doesn't know how much longer he can protect Ian.
  • Oh noes!
  • In watching Boogie and Dan, their game play, I have to give them both credit. As a watcher, I can see what they're doing in their games and they're so much better even than Britney or Janelle have been in the season.
  • In the end, despite all hurt feelings, the Quack Pack wants the noms to remain the same.
  • Either Frank or Boogie can go.
  • And Danielle is back in Shane's bed tonight.
  • While Frank and Dan share a bed.
  • What a wonderful world it is.
  • Heh. Not in the Hamster House!
  • The Power of Veto will be a big telling factor in all of this. It will be played out later today.
  • And yet another fish is dying. They're probably just dying to get out of there!
