BB18: Live Feeds into Friday - July 15

But she has James!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Pain:
  • Frank is all in a tizzy?
  • Who flipped on him? (They all deny it.)
  • "What? Dictator? I never acted like a dictator!"
  • He told Da'Vonne the only reason he was ever after her was because Nicole said she was after him.
  • Da'Vonne told Frank that Nicole was too scared to flip.
  • And on.
  • And on.
  • Meanwhile, Paulie has found out that Tiffany did try to get an all girls alliance going.
  • Of course, he can't nominate any one from his own team (Category 4).
  • So, that means that Frank, Bridgette and Michelle are safe.
  • Everyone else is fair game.
  • Frank did his finger-pointing well into the night.
  • Paulie told James that he isn't all that tight with either Frank or Bridgette.
  • If not for the teams twist (which needs to go away!), I think that Paulie might strike out in that direction.
  • Alas.
  • Paul is sure he'll be on the block again. He said, if he isn't and he wins Road Kill, he'll put himself on the block.
  • Heehee.
  • Frank told Da'Vonne the only one he really trusts is Bridgette.
  • Frank and Da'Vonne surface make up and hug.
  • But that's not real.
  • She's still after him and he knows she was lying to his face.
  • Paulie was one originally after Tiffany to go. He voted for Tiffany to go.
  • So, will he put Tiffany on the block?
  • Hell, yeah!
  • Plus, using her as a target doesn't put him in the position where he gets major blood on his hands ... or something that goes awry like the Frank/Tiffany thing last night.
  • He told Tiffany he doesn't want her coming in his HoH room. He's sure she'll be butting into every conversation.
  • Then again, she just might sleep a lot!
  • Among the doubts cast, James and Natalie's names came up.
  • Now Paulie is leaning towards getting Natalie out.
  • Corey tried to convince Frank it was all Bronte's fault she got voted out -- she caused her own demise in the house.
  • Yeah, you had nothing to do with it, Frank. :::cough:::
  • Paul again pushes an anti-Tiffany agenda.
  • After all, he wants someone to have a much larger target on them than he does. Even though he's made a point of mingling, he's still a remainder (and reminder) of the Jozea/Victor fiasco.
  • Nicole is once again running scared. She's in the middle of the Frank/Da'Vonne rift. She doesn't handle the stress well and she's such a sucky liar!
  • Corey is really trying to rationalize the anti-Frank movement to Frank and why people turned on him.
  • He's doing it in an effort to fix things.
  • I didn't really expect that from Corey. Huh. A bridge over troubled waters. Who woulda thunk it?
  • Meanwhile, back in the HoH room, Paulie and Nicole talked. He still wants Frank out, but cannot do it.
  • He doesn't know that Nicole agreed to a Corey/Frank/Bridgette final four alliance.
  • It appears that Nicole is safe from Paulie's noms.
  • Tiffany cried.
  • She told Nicole she feels everybody is talking about her.
  • Well, YEAH. They are. That speech was a bit much too much and now you're staying in the house and you're stuck with it, Tiff.
  • Of course, Frank himself has himself believing that that speech swayed a few people Tiffany's way.
  • He's wrong on that. They already were swayed.
  • Tiffany is now getting on everybody's nerves with her crying, odd behavior and accusations.
  • She's guaranteeing that she will be the target this week and her people who had been behind her are now wishing they'd voted her out.
  • So, I'd say one of Paulie's nominations will definitely be Tiffany. The second is still up in the air -- Natalie's name came up a lot -- but that would be the pawn.

Their fate is in his hands

Maybe safe? Maybe not.

Will the tables turn on her this week?

Safe through circumstance

Victor Arroyo - Helenann2K, RBennie, Janice, Monty924

Let's get this show AWN!

Before going into recap, Julie told us Frank and Da'Vonne were two "powerful players, each with their own agenda."

The action resumes after the PoV meeting and Frank gloating about it. Paul feels secure. Bronte thinks that Tiffany is the target because the "whole house" wants to vote her out. Da'Vonne thinks Tiffany staying might be the best option. She tells James. He thinks, if they had enough votes, it might work. He's not happy with Frank's behavior. They need five votes. Michelle thinks it would be better send Bronte packing. Nicole is agreeable to it. Zakiyah says okay.

Uh-oh. Zakiyah suggests Bronte out to Paulie. He thinks it's not a good idea. He thinks Tiffany can win things. (What has she won so far?) Corey feels along the same lines as Paulie.

Going into commercial, Julie tells us the returners have started to turn on each other. Well, duh.

Frank tries to drag Nicole in to say who she wants targeted. She thinks he wants Da'Vonne out. Frank tells Nicole he has her back.

Frank tells Bridgette they'll go after Nicole and Corey down the road, but maybe an alliance with them ...? Frank tries to get Michelle on the anti-Da'Vonne Train.  He tells Michelle that Nicole is also in on getting Da'Vone out. Michelle tells Da'Vonne and Nicole denies it. Da'Vonne sees through Nicole.

Back in the Bronte Out Plan, they look like they're getting Corey and Paulie.

Time to vote! The nominees speak ...
Paul - Have not, block three weeks, time of my life, want to stay.
Tiffany - Dictatorships rarely work out, talks about dictator (Frank), cow manure, gas ... would target dictator and Cabbage Patch Kid
Bronte - Not in the habit of being mean, thank you all.

Votes to Evict:
Frank - Tiffany
Natalie - Tiffany
James - Tiffany
Into commercial ...
Michelle - Bronte
Nicole - Bronte
Zakiyah - Bronte
Corey - Bronte
Paulie - Tiffany
Da'Vonne - Bronte

Five to four, Bronte is evicted. Frank and Bridgette both visibly cringe when Julie announces it.

I think Bronte got the first laugh out of me from her all season. When Julie told her about the Battle Back, Bronte said, "I'm glad I wasn't snooty on the way out!"

HoH Comp time. Yesterday they saw, sixteen photos of the evicted hamsters in "Europe." They had to study them.

Euro Tripping is the name of the comp. True or False questions. Last HG standing, new HoH with team safe.

Corey, James, Natalie, Zakiyah, Paul out on first question.
All right on second.
Tiffany, Michelle, Da'Vonne out.
Paulie wins HOH!

So much for getting Frank out. Frank, Paulie, Bridgette and Michelle are all safe.

BB18: Live Feeds into Thursday Morning - July 14

Corey cannot do those bumper cars!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Waffles:
  • Oh my. Call in the crowd ... it looks like the waffle might be done!
  • And ... it's ... now ...
  • ... looking like a BRONTE eviction!
  • Y'see, the main herd of hamsters realized that, while they can't get Frank this week, they can cause him issues.
  • Tiffany might be a bit annoying at times, but she's no mastermind, nor much of a threat in any way.
  • But, Bronte, on the other hand, is someone Frank nominated, thinking she wouldn't go home. His Bed Buddy Bridgette is besties with her and knows he's the one who nominated her.
  • Bronte is also annoying.
  • Bronte thinks she's a competition beast and they all think she's more of a threat than is Tiffany (I'm not really seeing all of that).
  • By ousting her, they get rid of Bronte and hurt the Frank/Bridget duo.
  • The others we're talking about include Paulie, Corey, Nicole, Michelle, Zakiyah, Da'Vonne ... certainly enough to rock the vote.
  • Or, as they say, flip the script.
  • Oh, Tiffany is still on their radar. They've just put her on a back burner for the time being.
  • I think they all expect her to suddenly become Vanessa. From watching her, she has some of Vanessa's worst traits such as emotionally playing, but she doesn't possess the talking in circles and making people do opposite what they planned while making it look like it was their own decision stuff. THAT was what made Vanessa such a dangerous player.
  • Meanwhile, they all kept quizzing each other on the videos they saw for HoH prep.
  • At least, they think that's what it's for. I'm hoping it is, because I don't feel like staying up for an endurance comp tonight!
  • They went and told Tiffany she'd be safe.
  • I'm not sure that's a great idea. They had been humoring her all along. I personally would have kept it that way and not let her in on any grand plan. It's bad enough more than half the house knows.
  • Heck, why don't they go and tell Bronte she's going and blow the plan all to bits?
  • James is left out of the loop with the main group. They must think he's too close with Natalie, would say something and it would get back to Bronte.
  • James is actually aboard the Get Rid of Frank Train.
  • Everybody but Bridgette is on that ride.
  • Not that there aren't rifts in the main group, mind you.
  • They're all fairly suspicious of each other.
  • Ah, if this latest waffle stays and Bronte goes tonight, this should be a very interesting week ahead.
  • Yes! As hamster-watchers, we need interesting!

Has his built-in crumbcatcher

Will she stay or will she go?

Sometimes you have to scratch the itch

If she were dangerous, she would be.

BB18: Live Feeds into Wednesday Evening - July 13

Corey on alert

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Phonetic Phonies:
  • Those race cars in the Have Not Room didn't take a person Corey's size into consideration. It's painful to watch him sleep in one.
  • Bridgette thinks Frank is safe because "everybody needs him"
  • @@
  • Natalie cleaned the kitchen floor. Wow.
  • I could barely contain my excitement!
  • Nicole thinks Frank trusts Bridgette more than the 8-Pack.
  • Well, he's in control of her. Of course he trusts her. She would be like Trashy was to Randall Flagg in The Stand. "My life for you!"
  • Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit.
  • But maybe not!
  • It still should be Tiffany going out this week.
  • But it's putting a strain on her buddies as no one wants to tell her.
  • She still thinks she has a chance.
  • James thinks that Paul is playing the entire house.
  • I think Paul isn't the only one doing so.
  • Frank told Da'Vonne that Bridgette is a soldier for them.
  • Gag me now.
  • Frank and James talked about how they wouldn't have to even backdoor Da'Vonne -- they could just put her straight on the block and be sure she wouldn't win PoV.
  • The only bad thing would be that she would act out all week leading up to eviction.
  • The biggest news of the day came with a feeds block. The hamsters were shown video clips of Jozea, Glenn and Victor. They were trying to memorize them, thinking it would have something to do with the HoH comp.
  • The Spy Girls seem to be the only ones really loyal to each other. However, with Bridgette's Frank infatuation, she could betray them and not even realize she did it until the deed got done.
  • Tomorrow's another day ...

Always so mellow, so laid-back. Not.

The bunny hat reappeared

She has wings!

His mandana fell down

BB18: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - July 13

Hamster watchers ready? Let's get this show going!

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll be constantly updating this entry. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area!

Gee, let's start off with "Previously on ..." for a change!

Okay, the show picks up at the end of the Road Kill reveal. Bronte thinks it's Paulie who did it. We know it's Frank, as does all of Frank's 8-Pack.  Bridgette doesn't know it's Frank and is angry. Frank tells Paul he's safe. Paul doesn't trust him.

Bronte cries. We needed to see that. She wants to tell her Spy Girls a HUGE secret. She tells them that she's an aspiring mathematician. Oh boy, what a shocker!

Frank tells Bronte that he thinks people want Tiffany gone. He doesn't let on that he's Road Kill. He also asks for her to choose him for PoV player if she can.

James wants to warn Natalie that Frank's the Road Kill and, if Bronte comes down, it's likely the renom will be her (Natalie). He tells her without coming out and telling her. He tells her the target is Tiffany. She promises not to tell the Spy Girls.

Natalie tries to hint at the fact that Frank can't be trusted, but Bridgette is blinded by the blight.

PoV Players pick: Bronte gets to choose Natalie. Paulie is the second one to play (in addition to the nominees and HoH).

The Fatal Five are willing to sacrifice Corey if one of the 8-Pack has to go on the block. That's thoughtful of them, right?

Veto comp -- Chef in Training in the BB Test Kitchen. Pour ingredients as tested into measuring cups, wrong will go very bad. Winners get an Outback meal. Bronte and Natalie get the goop exploded on them in the first round. Paulie is out on the second round. Tiffany out in the third. Paul out in the next and Bridgette wins the Power of Veto!

Frank tries to do a back-to-back congratulations jump with Bridgette. She falls and hurts her ankle, thus taking attention away from the colorfully doused PoV comp participants.

Bridgette isn't crying about her ankle.

Tiffany is crying about losing the comp.

Because Bronte wants to come down, Natalie said she knows she'll go up. The Spy Girls know that Natalie must know who won Road Kill. Bronte runs to James. He does not tell her.

Time for the Outback Steakhouse private dinner in the backyard. Category 4 gets to go, Bridgette also picks Big Sister to join with them.

Natalie wants Bridgette to open her eyes and see Frank for what he is. Good luck with that!

Drunk, Frank tells Bridgette he won Road Kill and nominated Bronte because he knew she would be safe. He tells us that he wants Bridgette in his pocket. He also tells her he put her up the first week.

Time for the PoV Meeting. Bridgette lets them each speak, but has no intentions of using it. Paul talks about friendship. Tiff is extremely brief as is (thankfully) Bronte. Bridgette keeps the nominations as they are.

Da'Vonne talks about flipping the script and keeping Tiffany, partially to spite Frank. We'll see about that.

BB18: Live Feeds into Wednesday Morning - July 13

Workin' it

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Myopic Maniacs:
  • Y'know ... these doldrums periods get really trying when you're attempting to make this stuff entertaining on a blog!
  • At least, when they're doing "secret" comps, I can try to give you some breaking informational news.
  • But, when we're in times like this, it all tends to be a lot of "what ifs." What if so-and-so wins HoH? Who will I target? It all goes by the wayside because the scenarios rarely go down in actuality.
  • I always label these posts as spoilers.
  • It's just a habit.
  • Forgive me, America.
  • Okay ... let's just see what I've got for you ...
  • Paulie is getting almost Frank-ish on getting Tiffany out this week.
  • I guess there's no solidarity between the We Have BB Siblings Duo.
  • Nicole is irked at Michelle because she thinks Michelle put a target on her back.
  • I'd personally like to see these hamsters walking around with literal targets on their backs when they think they have one. They could all then turn and target the few without the physical targets on their backs.
  • That makes sense. Right?
  • More than a few people are telling Paul he's safe this week.
  • Well, duh. I'll be surprised if anyone votes to evict Paul. He's the survivor of the Three Stooges and seems to have overcome his early bad decision to jump in the Jozea Boat.
  • Corey wants a boy to win HoH this week. Hmm. I guess there are no real men in the house, huh?
  • Michelle claims that Tiffany's latest tactic of wearing sunglasses all the time is a Vanessa tactic.
  • I recall, sometime last week, Bridgette asked Paul to take his sunglasses off as they talked.
  • Judge Judy never allows sunglasses unless they're prescription ones. People do hide a lot behind them.
  • Nicole thinks that Da'Vonne has just been trying to make Frank mad. She doesn't want Frank to be mad ... even if she and many others want him out.
  • Corey is getting leery of Da'Vonne. She wants everyone to throw HoH to her. But she rarely talks to him, spends a lot of time sleeping ... how does he know what she'd do with it?
  • Frank and Nicole talked about sending Da'Vonne out.
  • Hmm.
  • It seems the less targeted of the returnees would be Nicole and James.
  • Their solidarity has definitely fallen apart on short order!
  • Paul is workin' it. He thinks he needs to get closer to Bronte and Natalie (for the good of his game). He's adapting much better than I thought he ever would.
  • Zakiyah is getting a bit hung up on Paulie, but wonders if it's mutual or not.
  • James thinks that Paulie is getting a bit Frank-like and, as I would say, too big for his britches.
  • Da'Vonne is also leery of Paulie as well.
  • Paul told Nicole that he thinks Natalie is taking advantage of James and is using him. Paul thinks James is a nice guy and feels sorry for him.
  • Michelle told Nicole that Frank and Bridgette want her (Nicole) and Paulie out.
  • Oh, yeah ... let's just fuel the fire.
  • I want a brouhaha!
  • I don't get one.
  • Wah.
  • Michelle also said that Frank wants to backdoor Da'Vonne and that Corey and Nicole were in on it.
  • Oh my, Michelle.
  • Keep all of this up and it's YOU who will get the boot.
  • They all talk together, y'know.
  • Michelle also said that Paulie referred to himself, Paul and Frank as kind of like the Hitmen -- Cody and Derrick.
  • Keep it up, Michelle.
  • Paul solidified his alliance more with Da'Vonne and Nicole. He said he survived the "Messiah" bit and needs to support more level-headed because he's not an idiot.
  • Heh. He was in the beginning of the season!
  • I expect we'll just see more talk go 'round and 'round until we find out tomorrow night who will be the Head Hamster for the week.
  • Tiffany is still the likely one out this week.

Can't wash that BB off of you, Z!

Pillow support

As if she posed just for us!

Sweet baby James? Nah.

Late night pancakes look good!

BB18: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - July 12

Oh Mylanta, looks like Frank has gas!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of the Fickle Finger of Fate:
  • While they didn't have waffles for breakfast, there sure was some waffling going on in the house.
  • Oh, let's keep Tiffany, get rid of Bronte.
  • Oh, let's keep Tiffany, get rid of Paul.
  • Oh, let's keep Tiffany; she'll target Frank for us.
  • But, in the long run, the more things change the more they remain the same -- Tiffany should be the one going out the door this week.
  • I think she made some major mistakes which have done her in. First, like Paulie did about Cody, she should have told people about Vanessa -- the family resemblance is very strong and, if you close your eyes, she even SOUNDS like Vanessa. Most of the recruits saw that season only. Her second major mistake was emotions and sleeping/not mingling in the start of the game.
  • James warned Da'Vonne that keeping Paul around as the weekly pawn just might pawn his way into the finals.
  • But Da'Vonne still has Frank in the crosshairs, as does much of the rest of the house.
  • One mark against Michelle in Frank's book is that she idolizes Ian Terry.
  • Ian Terry was the one who got Frank out in his season.
  • Frank also seems to have disdain regarding Dan Gheesling's BB abilities.
  • He claims that he tried to get them to target Dan, but Boogie talked him out of it.
  • @@
  • I don't know. To me, the more he talks about those two (Dan and Ian), the more it seems that he's upset that they were hailed as great at the game and he was more known as a constant pawn and competition beast. (AKA -- non-thinking.)
  • Paulie gave Corey some incentive to win HoH. Corey's a Have Not and, if he won HoH, they let the winning HoH break Have Not.
  • Tiffany still thinks she's staying. No one really wants to tell her otherwise.
  • She thinks they'll vote Bronte out.
  • To be honest, I personally don't care whichever one goes between Bronte and Tiffany. I guess Bronte annoys me more. But I feel let down by Tiffany. I never expected much of Bronte. I did of Tiffany.
  • The talk kept going back and forth to keep Tiffany or not.
  • Talk about a vicious circle!
  • They enjoyed the yard while they had it because inside lockdown lasts for more than a couple of days for their comp stretch.
  • Oh geez ... as I get this finished up for you, they're now talking keeping Tiffany again.
  • And on and on it goes.

Those Califiore boys are nicely put together

Telepathically sending out vibes to oust Frank

Like we really needed outdoor chess, too.

BB18: Live Feeds Overnight into Tuesday - July 12

Discussing Frank's ongoing demeaning ways

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of A Misogynistic Male:
  • Frank and his marionette Bridgette sat around discussing how Paul only wears one tank top and Paulie rarely wears a shirt at all.
  • Meanwhile ... Paulie, Paul and Zakiyah sat around listing the many ways that Frank has treated others inappropriately, both the men and the women.
  • But, especially the women.
  • Bronte says she would never date Paul because she doesn't like his "image."
  • Paul probably wouldn't date a woman who wears little girl hair bows and usually speaks in a fake voice reminiscent of Minnie Mouse on helium.
  • Or, maybe it's a chipmunk. I just can't think of a female chipmunk.
  • Although they celebrated the night of the Outback dinner, Zakiyah's actual birthday is today.
  • She would like them all to wear pink.
  • Oh my. And here I thought I liked Zakiyah. I might have to rethink things a bit. I don't own any pink.
  • Frank doesn't want Michelle to win HoH because she's too "emotional."
  • He probably thinks she would put him on the block!
  • But ... Michelle also can't stand Bronte and wants her gone.
  • Can't blame her there. That woman has to be incredibly annoying to be stranded with all summer.
  • Tiffany tried to scare James the same way he leaps out of places to scare others. It didn't phase him at all.
  • Frank thinks he might come across as "bossy" sometimes. Bridgette says it's more like abrasive. I say it's more like: GO HOME SON, YOU'RE STARTING TO REALLY IRK ME.
  • Bridgette, for a nurse, isn't taking good care of her sprained (?) ankle. Instead of using the crutches, she's hopping and hobbling around. If she had to participate in HoH this week, her chances of a win in anything physical would be nil.
  • Aw, Paulie and Zakiyah think each other is cute. Why, it's like we're back in grade school!
  • Bridgette thinks that Paul and Corey (both recruits) are only there to promote their own businesses/causes -- walking advertisements.
  • I don't know. The more I see Paul, the more I see a rather intelligent and well-rounded kind of guy who's hiding behind a bearded "tough" persona. He doesn't bother me. And, for the most part, with the exception of a few things, Corey no longer irks me. He's trying his best. At least both treat the other house hamsters decently without constantly offending them.
  • Da'Vonne would like to save Tiffany this week but doesn't think she'll be able to get the votes.
  • Who would she rather go?
  • Frank!
  • But, since Frank isn't on the block, she prefers Bronte go.
  • Paulie thinks it's a good time to move on the Oust Frank because Frank is so sure he has everybody in his pocket.
  • But it would have to be a true backdoor. If Frank can save himself, he will. That's just about a given.
  • Paul told Paulie and Zakiyah that, just because he hangs out with Bronte and Natalie, doesn't mean he wants to be grouped with them.
  • Paul seems to make his rounds, hanging out with practically everybody.
  • James is willing to throw a comp to get Frank out.
  • Paul said that if he slapped a woman's butt in the house, he would expect a punch in the face.
  • Good. Men should think like that!
  • Paulie thinks that James would never betray Natalie, but Natalie would throw James under the bus without caring.
  • He's probably right.
  • With all the talk and scenarios of what might be down the line, it's still looking like it's Tiffany out this week.

Not playing like I thought she would

BB18: Live Feeds into Monday Evening - July 11

Snugglebunnies

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Boring Buffoons:
  • The big news of the day is that they finally had the PoV Meeting.
  • Surprise, surprise ... Bridgette did not use the veto.
  • So, her noms -- Paul and Tiffany -- and Road Kill (Frank) nom -- Bronte -- remain on the block.
  • Frank went and told Bridgette that he did the Road Kill noms twice, including this week's Bronte nom.
  • Since Ms. I Have a Relationship at Home is suddenly smitten with Mr. Frank Flirtsalot, it's all good with her.
  • @@
  • Michelle badmouthed Natalie to James.
  • Say what?
  • Can't she see they have a thang goin' on?!?!
  • Frank continues his inappropriate ways, this time commenting on Natalie's nipples.
  • What is wrong with that guy?!?
  • Bronte and Bridgette are sure that Natalie will be loyal to them.
  • Tiffany still thinks there's a chance she might stay.
  • Poor deluded gal.
  • Paulie told Tiffany that just about everybody's plan for next week is to backdoor Frank.
  • I'd say that's probably not Frank's plan!
  • Da'Vonne is getting to like Paul ... not that that would stop her from sending him home.
  • He is just better to deal with for the women than Frank!
  • Frank continued making inappropriate comments to the women.
  • Zakiyah doesn't believe that Bridgette is a traveling ER nurse.
  • Lots and lots of small talk and "If I get HoH" stuff.
  • Yawn.
  • Move along.
  • Nothing to see here.

Danger, Will Robinson

Corey looking real Corey-ish

BB18: Live Feeds into Monday Morning - July 11

Staying up late

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Bodacious Busybodies:
  • They still haven't had the PoV meeting! Remember, Bridgette holds the PoV. She doesn't know it's Frank who put her Spy Girl buddy Bronte up. If she takes her down, it's very likely Frank will put Natalie up there.
  • They haven't had it because (A) a group had a blocked to live feeds Outback feast and (B) it's Zakiyah's birthday.
  • Oh, they danced.
  • They celebrated.
  • They partied.
  • They had a lot of fun.
  • But, to me ... that's not what BB is all about!
  • May I have a kerfuffle, please? A brouhaha would be very entertaining, too.
  • Sigh.
  • There was some scheming going on.
  • Frank has turned his Tiffany focus (since he assumes she's an automatic out on Thursday) to Da'Vonne.
  • But, the main problem with that is that even the guys see that Frank himself needs to be gone and he's going to have to go out via a true backdoor. He can't be able to compete in a PoV.
  • Frank doesn't think James would ever put him up.
  • I beg to differ. I bet James would put him up in a second as a renom. James likes big moves and that would be epic!
  • Of course, James would have to have the power to do so.
  • Everything is speculation.
  • Frank thinks Da'Vonne is playing a "floater" game.
  • Little does he know!
  • Michelle apparently imbibed quite a bit during their Outback dinner.
  • She was the drunkest dancer of the night.
  • They think she should get drunk more often because she's a funny drunk.
  • I'm surprised they don't get more alcohol sponsors for the show.
  • I'm also glad I'm not there. I would be known as the sick, grouchy drunk because I don't like getting drunk.
  • Bridgette and Frank are getting awfully close despite both having significant others outside of the house.
  • Their fellow hamsters can't help but notice that, too.
  • Besides Tiffany and Da'Vonne, Frank also wants Paulie out as soon as possible.
  • Not if someone gets you out first, SON!
  • One person Frank does feel he can trust (other than using Bridgette for his own means) is Nicole.
  • Heh.
  • Meanwhile, Nicole totally sees through him.
  • Paulie and Zakiyah still have their friendship/flirtmance going on. They talked about Tiffany going home this week, then (hopefully, if it can get done) Frank out the door.
  • Aw, poor Corey's tummy is hurting. It's probably not as serious as Paul's nose ring infection.
  • Then Michelle got sick to her stomach ... but her illness is alcohol-related. Hopefully she'll learn these lessons while she's young.
  • Corey and Nicole stayed outside talking general stuff until BB called for an indoor lockdown.
  • And, that's where we are right now.

BB18: Live Feeds into Sunday Evening - July 10

Lovin' his muffins

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Rowdy Ruffians:
  • James and Corey talked. James said that both Natalie and Bronte wanted to make it to jury. Corey told James that Tiffany going was a go this week.
  • Michelle and Da'Vonne talked about Tiffany going. Michelle is worried she might say something that could damage their games. Da'Vonne doesn't think so. Michelle thinks that Tiffany thinks she's staying.
  • I don't think she does. I think Tiffany HOPES she's staying but knows that Frank is manipulative and wants her out.
  • Interesting ... in a talk about dreams, Frank mentioned he had to quit his job to come on the show.
  • I guess he needs the stipend as much as any of them ... maybe more!
  • They only had the yard for a short time as BB wanted to set up the Outback dinner won during the PoV.
  • Natalie found out that some were calling the Spy Girls, the Powderpuff Girls. She doesn't like that.
  • Frank doesn't think Da'Vonne will target him. Paulie or Corey, but not him.
  • Ha.
  • Frank kept trying to get Corey to think that Da'Vonne needs to go before long.
  • Corey says he understands the Tiffany target, but doesn't agree with going after those in the alliance.
  • Then Paulie, James and Paul got together ... James thinks they should wait until the time is right, then tell Bridgette that Frank is the Road Kill winner who nominated her buddy, Bronte.
  • They think the Powderpuff Girls are basically clueless.
  • Paul has overcome his Victor/Jozea ties and is getting in with Paulie and others. He's in-ish with Frank, but knows that Frank is only doing whatever advances his own game.
  • Michelle and Frank had a kerfuffle over Dan Gheesling. Michelle likes his and thinks he's fantastic at BB. Frank disagrees.
  • Frank's probably jealous, methinks.
  • Zakiyah, Da'Vonne, Paul, Paulie, Michelle, Bridgette and Frank are the ones attending the Outback dinner in the yard.
  • Natalie, James, Corey, Tiffany, Bronte and Nicole are left inside.
  • Again, a lot of "if I win HoH" talks, Frank is still falling out of favor with all and Tiffany is most likely going to get evicted this week.
  • The PoV meeting didn't go down.
  • But I don't think it will change much. IF Bridgette takes down Bronte, the one Frank puts up would likely be the third Powderpuff Girl, Bridgette's other friend, Natalie.

BB18: Nominations, Road Kill Show Blog Party - July 10

Hamster watchers ready? Let's get this show going!

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll be constantly updating this entry. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area!

Recap, recap. Tiffany is trying to work on the girls. She knows Frank wants her out. Hey, the announcer used MY "Evictored" bit! I want royalties.

Okay, cut to just after Bridgette wins HoH. Her gameplay is "friendship," don'tcha know? Frank reminds us that Tiffany is his biggest target. Da'Vonne says that Bridgette's HoH might as well be Frank's. Zakiyah is worried because she's never had much to do with Bridgette.

The "Spy Girls" seem to think they're safe ... at least, Natalie feels that way. Frank tells Da'Vonne he's going to try to get Bridgette to put up Tiffany and Bronte. If she doesn't go for Bronte, Paul. Bridgette herself is leaning towards Corey and Nicole. Frank pooh-poohed that.

Ah, a Frank being inappropriate segment. About time!

Who wants to see my HoH room? Gah.

Frank being more inappropriate to Da'Vonne, he apologizes but she's not happy.

Nominations time -- Paul and Tiffany (Frank's noms!) "Just a game move. We can talk about it over hot Cheetos."

Road Kill has them matching eight horn sounds in the proper sequence -- Horn Star. And ... the winner is ... Frank!

Frank tells Nicole and Corey he won it. Then he tells James, Zakiyah, Da'Vonne  and Michelle. He wants to put up Bronte. He knows Bridgette won't like it. But he thinks if Bronte comes down, Natalie can go up.

Bronte is revealed as the Road Kill nominee.

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was - July 10, 2016

I have very little for you this week in my weekly off television topic reflection of the week gone by in both words and photos I've taken along the way.

There wasn't much "along the way" to my week. I was on a staycation from work and it turned out to literally be a STAYcation. Since Tuesday we've had heat wave type temperatures and humidity. The older I get, the less I do well in that kind of weather. I honestly haven't gone anywhere except for a quick run into neighboring Scotch Plains on Tuesday and around the corner to the local bodega one day. I've stayed inside in air conditioning.

  • I found the news this past week extremely depressing and horrifying.
  • I read a lot.
  • I napped a lot.
  • I cooked decent meals.
  • I paid attention to a certain cat.
  • I napped some more.
  • I did some housekeeping.
  • I did not take hardly any photographs.
  • I didn't get done much of what I wanted to get done.
  • Tomorrow I return to work.
  • Sigh.

Growing by my apartment fence

Most of the day lilies have already passed. But the ones along my apartment building fence were late-bloomers.

In blossom now, around the corner

How I've felt all staycation

Vincent is caught in a yawn. Every time I look at this photo, I yawn. Maybe I need a cat nap.
