BB19: Live Feeds - PoV Meeting, Renom Monday - July 10

Cool Cat

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Wackadoodle Wombats:
  • This is going to be rather short and quick due to my real life work schedule today. Apologies.
  • The Veto Meeting, blocked to the live feeds, went down early in the day.
  • Surprise, surprise! Cody is now on the block!
  • Paul saved Josh.
  • So, going into Thursday we have Cody, Alex and Ramses on the block.
  • Oh my. Who do you think will be voted out?
  • Heehee.
  • Paul told Kevin that he should vote for Ramses just to throw people off.
  • Some think that Kevin spends too much time with Ramses.
  • Kevin told them he feels sorry for the kid and doesn't talk game with him.
  • No, I haven't seen Kevin talking game with him.
  • Cody and Jessica sat eating slop in their stunning little toad (frog) costumes.
  • Here's one reason why Jessica is deemed a mean girl by many -- she suggested Cody go by Josh and asked if he changed his diaper today.
  • Both Cody and Jessica laughed a lot about how Josh has cried every day since Day 1, etc., etc.
  • At one point the conversation went from the cost of living in different places in California to medical and recreational marijuana.
  • Yep, Paul is in CA while Christmas is in CO.
  • No one's in Kansas anymore.
  • Laters!
Heh. Love me some bad screen caps.

Remains on the block

BB thinks frogs are toads

BB19: Live Feeds into Monday Morning - July 10

Talk, talk, talk

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Redundant Rodents:
  • Not a heck of a lot going on due to the inevitability of the Backdoor Cody Plan.
  • In a conversation with Elena, Mark said his normal breakfast is ten eggs, a bowl of oatmeal and more.
  • Oh my.
  • No wonder he's such a big guy!
  • Kevin is worried because Alex is telling Jason that Kevin was the flip vote.
  • Paul told him he'd straighten things out with Jason and reminded Kevin of their $25,000 secret.
  • Alex complained that Matt was drinking diet soda while he's a Have Not.  He didn't know (he says). Then he put salad dressing on his slop, also not allowed, I guess.
  • Apparently salad dressing might be allowed. They have a list of no-nos and it's not on the list.
  • I find Alex's bathing suit almost akin to practically naked. It's not just me -- BB told her she can't be in the Diary Room wearing it. Heh. She complained that the guys can go in there shirtless.
  • Ramses kind of admitted to Christmas that he didn't throw the Veto comp (as he agreed with Paul he would do). He told her that he made a promise to himself that he would never throw a comp and kept that promise.
  • Paul and company aren't the only ones mad at Ramses over not throwing the comp and almost winning.
  • Alex told Jason how mad she is about it. After all, had Ramses won, she might have been the one going home this week.
  • Christmas's foot surgery will be happening Wednesday.
  • That's a scary thought. I can only hope she remains in the game. But she certainly would have a valid reason to back out if she needs to do so.
  • Cody smiled.
  • I almost fainted.
  • They're all sleeping as I get this posted.

Too much whispering!

BB19: Live Feeds into Sunday Evening - July 9

He's surprised to still be in there

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Misfit Toys:
  • The big worry on Paul's side and hope for Cody/Jessica is that there is some sort of Battle Back.
  • I think it's a valid worry.
  • I haven't really seen any gone besides Megan and Cameron out on the post-show interview circuit. Perhaps I just haven't looked since Jillian went.
  • But if they're being sequestered, we should be able to pick up on that sooner than the house hamsters will.
  • While Josh thinks he's the most picked-on disliked one in the house (and makes all those "victim noises" according to Cody), Ramses seems to take the prize for that.
  • Since Kevin lied to Cody and Jessica about his vote, they're sure it was Ramses betraying them.
  • And, Paul is ticked at him for almost winning veto when the deal was to throw it.
  • Ramses isn't playing a great game. He's like a kid in a candy store -- great for him, but annoying to the adults around him.
  • Watching Kevin, I think he's a huge observer kind of guy. The hamsters love his stories and his sense of humor, but dismiss gameplay. I dunno. I think his wheels are turning.
  • Hmm? Did Cody quit his real life job for this? He made a comment to Jessica about needing to figure out what he's going to do for work (after he goes).
  • Dang, I would have just asked for a personal unpaid leave of absence. Mind you, I'd never go on the show in the first place.
  • Cody complained about all the men on the show intimidated by women.
  • I'm surprised he hasn't started grunting like "Tim the Tool Man."
  • The ants are back in the kitchen once again.
  • Josh had a big conversation with the camera. He claims that he's really on the side of Alex and Jason, but had to stay in favor of the seven with his vote.
  • Um, kiddo. That's called playing both sides of the house.
  • Not long after that, Christmas worked more at molding her Josh puppet.
  • I don't see any other outcome this week than Cody going home.
  • I will cry no tears. I don't want him to think I'm making victim noises or being just a weak woman.

Maybe the cat ears make her seem tall

Nope, not pin-up material

Tells stories, but listens intently, too.

BB19: HoH Comp Results, Nominations Show Blog Party - July 9

It seems like so long ago! After all, the live feeds already have Power of Veto done and over with. As tonight's show airs, I'll be live-blogging and updating this entry -- refresh the page to get the latest. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

BTW - I won't be blogging the new Candy Crush game after the show. Game shows other than Jeopardy just aren't my thing at all.

Surprise, surprise! We're starting off with a recap! Oops ... forgot to mention and no room in my title -- the latest Den of Temptation will be shown tonight, too.

It's to the comp. Cody is upset that his people turned on him and kept Christmas. Paul is loving the chaos. Mark told Cody he voted to keep Christmas. He's the only one. We saw the Jessica/Christmas confrontation after eviction. Cody accuses Josh of lying to him. No hell hath a scorned Cody.

Cody looks very sullen in his role as ticket man. Elena tells us they can stockpile tickets. They're all doing that and handing them to Paul so that he can perfect a shot (and win). PAUL wins HoH!

Jessica can't imagine things getting any worse. Cody is sure that, unless he wins PoV, he will be going home. (Well, perhaps had he not done Custer's Last Stand during his HoH run, the first of the season, things would be very different.)

Kevin lies to Cody, telling him he voted to keep Jillian. A DR clip of Kevin telling us otherwise is good for a giggle. Cody is sure that Ramses and Josh flipped.

On a side note -- Cody's neck grinding or whatever is annoying.

Josh tries to make amends with Cody and Jessica. Cody is nasty to him. He tells us that Josh makes "victim noises." Jessica tells Josh he's like a little girl.

So, Josh goes off to cry. Raven, Mark. Dominque and Elena comfort him.

HoH room reveal. Jessica is in the Diary Room and doesn't want to go. The sound effect for Cody entering is a deflating balloon. Much editing of Cody glowering while the others clap.

Paul tells us he's going to do the opposite of Cody and let all know what he's doing. He proposes Matt and Raven, then backdoor Cody. Matt isn't thrilled. Dominque  suggests pawns from the other side.

Den of Temptation time -- along with a consequence. Since Paul has already been tempted, he won't be invited in.

The Den has voodoo dolls of all the hamsters. Christmas ends up being the one to be offered the Ring of Replacement. She can play in any one veto comp sometime this summer, replacing a player. She accepts. Must curse three houseguests via their voodoo dolls turning them into VToads. She selects Jason, Cody and Jessica.

Paul makes a deal with Alex, telling her he wants to backdoor Cody. She thinks it best for her own game to cooperate. He then goes after Josh with the plan. Josh also thinks it best for his own game. Paul tells the DR that he knows everyone wants Cody to go is the reason they're all "trusting" him.

Voting for DoT - The Halting Hex. Um. Okay.

Ramses thinks this might be a good week for him to use his third nom curse because he knows that Cody is the target.

Time for nominations.
Ramses puts himself in the mix as the third nominee. If he wins PoV, he can take himself down with no replacement.

Paul nominates Josh and Al

Tex. Josh called him a meatball. Alex, no connection made with him.

They show Paul worried that Ramses will win PoV and the noms will remain the same.

Oh, the suspense ...

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was - July 9, 2017

Good afternoon! Since it's a SUNDAY, this is my weekly off television topic post taking a look at the week gone by in both words and photographs I've taken along the way. This weekly post is done year in, year out -- usually in the morning hours. But I was lackadaisical this morning. Big Brother, the main draw for so many of you, only lasts about three months -- although sometimes it seems to be a lifetime. If you're here solely for the BB posts, please feel free to skip this post. You can find my latest BB19 posts by using this link.

I've been on a staycation this past week -- a much needed one. Of course, I wouldn't mind being on a permanent staycation called retirement. I'm still trying to figure out angles for achieving that. If nothing else, in two months I'll be able to take NJ Transit trains and buses for half-fare or less.

The big happening this week here was the annual Plainfield 4th of July Parade which goes right by my apartment building. Watching the parade reminded me how much Plainfield really does have to offer. There were many youth sports groups, the high school marching band, the robot from the robotics club, steppers, churches and various cultural organizations. It was a sea of diversity! Plainfield has indeed become a melting pot. Having so many folks so different from myself around me reminds me how much people are actually alike.

Speaking of which, I met a man in my apartment building elevator this morning. He told me he was visiting from Trinidad. No, not visiting the elevator ... visiting family in the building. Heck, my building itself probably has people for a dozen or more countries living here.

I really don't have a heck of a lot to say this week. Yes, I'm rested. But I could rest more! I'm including the photos I took of the parade this week in a Photobucket link. There are a ton of them -- the parade was almost four hours long! They may take a while to load if you have a slow connection.

The lilies are still in bloom

Finally ...

I've had my office chair for nearly 25 years and it's been in sad shape for about the last ten of those years. I ordered a new one from Amazon this week and put it together rather easily. It's not an expensive chair. It's not a fancy chair. But it does have good back support and arms that don't fall off.  Ignore the catnip mouse on the floor, as well as the catnip. Vincent is a kitty slob!

Day lilies came to life this week

Vincent and his new favorite chair

Yes, Vincent has claimed my new office chair as his own! I ended up putting a towel over it to fend off cat fur! When I'm not in it, he usually is. No, I'm not going to buy one for him.

BB19: Live Feeds into Sunday Morning - July 9

The man with the bling ... this week

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hopping Hamsters:
  • If you missed my brief update yesterday -- Paul won PoV.
  • Mark and Elena were picked to play in the random pick.
  • Jason hosted.
  • Paul had told Ramses to throw the comp, not to worry because there was a backdoor plan for Cody and he (Ramses) would be safe.
  • Of course, the comp was blocked to the live feeds for hours and hours.
  • And hours.
  • Apparently Ramses either almost won or definitely did not throw the comp as there was a kerfuffle after the feeds return.
  • The Paul group already didn't trust Ramses.
  • Now, even more so.
  • As the Paul group gathered talking about Ramses in the comp, who knocks and comes in?
  • Ramses. He was there to tell them it looked sketchy, but he really wasn't trying to win.
  • Nope, they were nice enough to him, but they're not buying it.
  • Cody knows he's a dead frog hopping.
  • So, Jessica can sink or swim. She's trying to swim, having a long talk with Paul.
  • Paul, no matter what folks may think of him, can be very concerned and caring (seemingly) in a talk like that.
  • The comp had them going through airport security, five terminals, answer question, get delayed or right, red door or green pathway for answers, the delays were puzzle math things, punch and kick through, etc. Another delay was eating nasty stuff like liver pate and escargot while a fat sweaty man sat almost on top of you, and an icy dive.
  • Thank you, Paul, for explaining the comp to Jessica as the other talks about the comp were all bits of excited bits and pieces!
  • See, sometimes Paul's loquaciousness comes in handy!
  • Kevin and Alex want to work together -- let the power players pick each other off.
  • Alex is now trusted by the Elena, Paul and Mark crowd.
  • For now, anyway.
  • Alex is willing to remain on the block against Cody.
  • Kevin remains the house entertainment.
  • I personally doubt he'll win it all, but the dude should get a special monetary award for being the feeds entertainment hit of the season.

Oh, go get a room!

Talks to Paul

Kevin, casting brilliance in motion

BB19: Finally, the PoV is Over - July 8

Gah! The live feeds have been blocked for the majority of time the hamsters have been awake today.

It sounds like quite the Power of Veto Comp went down.

Neither Cody nor Jessica were picked to play this morning. And, Jason hosted.

Paul won.

BB19: Live Feeds into Friday Evening, Nominations - UPDATED - July 7

Sure to be a laugh riot at parties!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of a Kitty Kam Kinda Day:
  • Yes, there was more Kitty Cam than hamster action shown in the house today.
  • The first really really long blockage was the Den of Temptation.
  • It had to do with voodoo dolls.
  • Apparently three people will be affected by the curse consequence.
  • The hamsters talked about that being the three wouldn't be allowed to vote.
  • But it seems that that idea was just something they thought could happen.
  • They don't really know.
  • And, of course, they are not allowed to talk about production.
  • In between the DoT feeds blockage and the nominations feeds blockage, Paul continued to work his plan.
  • What plan is that?
  • Why, he wants Cody out.
  • What to do? What to do?
  • Well, put TWO pawns up there. If Cody happens to get picked to play PoV and wins, then Jessica could go up.
  • But, then again, if he puts the right pawns up and Cody doesn't play, someone like Alex could win PoV and Cody goes up.
  • No one really wants to be put up as a pawn.
  • But Alex is seemingly more on board with Paul than with Cody even though she's definitely playing her own game.
  • Paul told Ramses this might be the best time for him to use his curse -- up on the block as a third nominee -- as the plan is to backdoor Cody.
  • Christmas told Jason that she thinks Ramses is a "superfan."
  • Well, yeah. He thinks he is. But some of us have followed the show and the live feeds since BB1. These kids don't KNOW superfan.
  • Alex told Cody that people helped Paul win HoH because no one else wanted to look him in the eye and take him out.
  • So, in effect, she told him everyone wants him out. Heh.
  • Ohh ... Christmas got the Temptation. She can switch out with another hamster -- Cody, Jessica or Ramses -- in a PoV comp.
  • Actually, that falls right into Paul's scheme.
  • The nominations went down ... Alex and Josh.
  • Paul told Ramses to put himself in as the third, throw the veto comp and he'll be safe.
  • And the beat goes on ...

Must be bright in the house

Checkmate?

UPDATE: THE CURSES FOR THE THREE ARE IN!

Jason, Cody and Jessica are FROGS. They must hop around and have lily pad safety spots and all. Heh. Jason is loving it. Jessican, not as much. Cody is complying. But that's about it.

BB19: Live Feeds Overnight into Friday - July 7

The Happy Couple

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of No Nose-to-Nose:
  • I would guess it was due to Cody's body language -- glowering, arms crossed, looking like he wanted to kill -- throughout the HoH comp last night, we heard the first warning ever (that I've seen) not to get into each other's faces or fight from BB.
  • The edit and/or music they do for his expressions should be interesting Sunday night. If you ever want an image of hate, he was it.
  • As you know if you read my HoH comp update post, Paul is the new HoH.
  • Now, I'm not a big Paul fan -- I find him annoying, overbearing and extremely self-important on the live feeds. But, to give him credit, he's not a mean guy and if the current hamsters are falling for his shtick, all the more power to him.
  • He's also in a good spot, winning HoH, he will be protected next week when he can't play HoH (due to his last week of the Pendant of Protection).
  • Cody, on the other hand, I find rather scary. He told Jessica he's not like this outside the house, but I would still steer clear of the dude. He's a sore loser. He seems full of hate. He tries to stare through people. He definitely jumped into the game full-force much too quickly. That I could forgive him for, but the glowering, posturing and such really turn me off. Plus, his Ferguson comments (going there during the riots to see if he'd live) and another comment about trans-folks are disturbing.
  • So, if I had the druthers between the two, I'd rather Paul than Cody.
  • Not that I want Paul to win, mind you. (Even though I have him in the blog pool now.) I honestly believe that the current hamsters won't let the "friendship" go that far.
  • Oh ... Jessica? Yeah, she's pretty. And, pretty mean, too. I do feel sorry for her a bit in that I know Cody never told her what he would do with noms. But, then again, she chose him and she has chosen to stick with him. Whose fault is that?
  • After the comp last night, Jessica and Cody pretty much exiled themselves from the rest of the house, sulking, hating and feeling so sorry for themselves.
  • At one point, Mark and Elena were concerned that Jessica would self-evict.
  • Cody is sure he's going home.
  • There is a big kerfuffle over who flipped.
  • Kevin says he voted for Jillian to stay. That's his story and he's sticking to it.
  • Thus, the suspicion goes to Josh or Ramses.
  • Ramses called Kevin out as the flip and found out that the others believe Kevin over him.
  • Kerfuffle ensued and now Ramses himself has a bigger target on his back.
  • Paul knows Kevin flipped and advised him, since he has already denied it, stick with the story and he (Paul) won't tell anyone.
  • Lots of discussion about who will be put on the block -- by both Cody/Jessica and Paul's group.
  • Everyone on Paul's side want Cody out.
  • But the consensus seems to be that Cody cannot have the opportunity to play PoV and save himself.
  • Put two of "theirs" up? Josh, Jessica, Jason?
  • Put up a pawn from Paul's side?
  • Mark made it clear that he NEVER wants to go up as a pawn.
  • Jessica thinks the others will want her to stay in the game without Cody just to make her miserable.
  • Lots of Jessica tears.
  • Lots of Cody stares into nowhere.
  • Alex told the cameras that Josh is a disgrace to his family and a crybaby.
  • Oh my.
  • The doctor told Christmas it will take a good six months for her foot to totally heal. I personally say a lifetime. I broke my foot when I was 19 and some days it still hurts now decades later. She'll probably get a decent paycheck from CBS no matter how long she stays in the house even though it was due to tomfoolery.
  • I've always said tomfoolery could poke someone's eye out. It can also break a foot.
  • Alex told others about the curse Ramses has -- so they know he has to put himself up on the block before long.
  • Jessica yelled at Josh, throwing him into another crying jag.
  • Kevin told Josh not to fight anyone since that would get him kicked out.
  • Kevin also told him that he will be loyal to Josh and Jason from now on.
  • Hmm.
  • Jessica didn't show up for the beginning of Paul's HoH reveal. Cody was there, throwing daggers with his eyes. Once Jessica showed up, they both re-exiled themselves from the rest of the house.
  • Paul says that his end goal (after veto) is to have Cody and Raven on the block. He thinks Raven would be totally safe and Cody would go home.
  • Of course, getting there is the problem.
  • Mark thinks he should put up Jason and Alex.
  • Hmm.
  • We won't know until later tonight.
  • And, then we won't know until after the veto.
  • In the meantime, hamsters, don't save your drama for yo' mama -- let it all out. It makes for more interesting live feeds!

"I voted to keep Jillian" - HA!

Whistle-Nut

I don't want to be a pawn ... ever

Definitely here to play the game

BB19: HoH Comp Updates --July 6

Once the live feeds return, this post will be updated with screen shots and comments!

10:07pm ET - Feeds still on Kitty Kam (blocked)
10:12pm ET - Still blocked.
10:17pm ET - Still blocked.

10:22pm ET - Feeds return briefly, then go all kitty on us again. The hamsters are still scrambling for candy/tickets.

10:22pm ET

Heh. Cody looks miserable. He told Jessica to go for the top chute.

Christmas is dragging herself through this! She and some of the others are giving Paul their tickets, apparently thinking he has a better chance at the comp. Cody's body language says it all -- he's only unfolding his arms long enough to take tickets.

PAUL wins HOH! -- 10:39pm ET

Hmm, it's into a live Jeff interview with Jillian. "No way would Kevin betray me." Bwahahaha!

BB19: Live Eviction and (start of) HoH Comp Blog Party - July 6

We've already lost two hamsters yet tonight is the first live eviction show. It seems like it's been more than a week for us already! There's been a lot of waffling with the votes and tonight's vote is only predictable in that it won't be unanimous.

As the show airs here, I'll be live-blogging and constantly updating this entry -- refresh the page to get the latest! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Come join in on the fun!

Judging by the scrolling banner on the live feeds page, tonight's HoH comp should be some sort of endurance comp running on after the live show ends. If that is indeed the case, I'll set up a separate post and keep updates on the comp going there.

Here are the blog pool match-ups for easy reference tonight -- Those who had Cameron have swapped and now have Paul. I think, since Megan was not evicted and it's so early in the season, it was best to reassign her people to new hamsters ... so, here ya go --

Alex Ow - jujufruit423, caela, Donna in FL, Nickelpeed
Christmas Abbott - Willie J, Rich from Buffalo, Glenn, QuixoticElf
Cody Nickson - MikesGirl, Chacha, Donna in NY, Delee
Dominique Cooper - Ed in Ohio, Monty924, Delores in Hollywood (FL), Jenn G
Elena Davies - Uncartie, Fred aka TwoBlackAces. Sharon N, chrob61
Jason Dent - Donna in Alabama, Cheryl in NC, jo Chapman, Marthalight
Jessica Graf - zombiehospice, Jean in Tampa Bay, Merilee
Jillian Parker - Sasha, Janice from GA/FL, DFT, jessica UNderwoodjul
Josh Martinez - Petals, Stormy, Kelsey in NY, Dr_Celine
Kevin Schlehuber - elee86, aya, SueGee on the Left Coast
Mark Jansen - Buzzmaam, Judi Sweeney, Cheryl C, Sharon S
Matthew Clines - JonMD1267, T-Town Chick, Sharon C

Paul Abrahamian - Indiana Jane, Jackie, Brian, Marlo L
Ramses Soto - tbc, Pupis, Babs, Tammy
Raven Walton - Kristen from Ohio, David, Nora

Tonight's evictee will be the first out of the pool.

Hamster watchers ready?

Julie also says the vote is unpredictable. Now we're recapping and talking showmances. Then into Megan leaving, renoms, etc.

Veto meeting fallout. No one knew Cody's plan and no one is happy with it. Now he's blown the trust. Lines are being drawn. All kinds of kerfuffles going on about trust and loyalty. Even Jessica didn't know what Cody was going to do -- and that is true as per the live feeds.

Cody is steaming. Mark says he will remain loyal to him and it looks like Jason will in gratitude for Cody not putting him on the block. Matt, Raven and Elena try to convince Mark and Jessica that they need to not trust Cody -- he's a rogue as Matt says. The three say they will not vote out Christmas.

Uh-oh -- Christmas went riding on Jason's back, they fell and she thinks she broke her foot. Paul runs around campaigning for Christmas while she's at the hospital.

She returns on crutches. Jessica, Mark and Cody are not happy campers. Cody and Jessica know, as does Paul, that Christmas will target them. That is, if she can target anyone with a broken foot. She told them torn ligaments, but a later MRI showed two breaks in the foot. Ouch.

Lots of friction and waffles. Now Mark is feeling bad and befriends Christmas. He feels horrible about how he treated her (or didn't) when she returned to the house. They cry together.

To the living room live -
Christmas -- Thanks for keeping her the first time, even with the broken foot, here to play. Cody and Jessica are playing everyone. I will be loyal.
Jillian -- Love being here, gave it all, hard to know everyone, opened up and want to continue to grow and compete.

The live votes to evict:
Jessica - Christmas
Jason - Christmas
Kevin - Jillian
Matt - Jillian
Raven - Jillian
Paul - Jillian
To commercial ...
Ramses - Christmas
Dominque - Jillian
Alex - Christmas
Elena - Jillian
Mark - Jillian
Josh - Jillian

By a vote of 8 to 4, Jillian is evicted.

Cody looks at "his people" in disbelief and tries to confront Mark. Christmas and Jessica yell at each other. In her talk to Julie, Jillian is in shock -- she expected a tie with Cody voting to keep her.

Time to start the HoH comp. Grr, it's Candy Crush based. BB's Sugar Shot. Roll a ball to a heart on the Candy Crush game. Candies will contain tickets get a ball, can only get three shots at a time. It's like the one they did on BBOTT.

My coverage of the comp will be in a new post set to come up at 10pm ET. Be there or be square.

BB19: Live Feeds into Wednesday Evening - July 5

We're a weird cast

My apologies for not posting this morning. Between the blocked feeds for their holiday party and things being in limbo over Christmas, everything seemed to be rather circular conversation when the feeds were on. But I'm back with them today and here's what's been happening in that Big Brother House of Waiting for Christmas:
  • They had alcohol at the party last night. That's something that seems to be missing so far this season.
  • Last night, before it was certain about the fate of Christmas, Paul kept working the vote. Josh is aboard with keeping her.
  • Cody and Jessica had been working on Josh to vote her out.
  • Hmm.
  • And on that kind of thing went ...
  • Like last year, BB spent a lot of money buying fish and it went bad. You think they'd learn their lesson -- hamsters don't seem to be fish lovers.
  • Kevin told Cody he'll be voting to keep Jilliam. He was on the fence before. He might end up on that fence again.
  • Jason told Kevin that if they vote out Christmas, that will put Cody on their side and he's a good competitor.
  • (But I say he's a creepy dude.)
  • Christmas went off to the doctors and came back hours later.
  • The verdict? Two broken bones in her foot. She was told no competitions will be changed and the doctor will tell her if she can or cannot participate per comp.
  • Everybody rushed to greet her -- except Cody and Jessica.
  • Cody and Jessica remained up in the HoH room.
  • That didn't go unnoticed by the rest of the house.
  • Now Kevin isn't so sure about the vote. I think he's on the fence once again.
  • Right now the vote seems more up in the air.
  • I guess we'll see.

More mean more often

Gangsta? No way!

The Odd Couple

She's baaaaack!

BB19: PoV Show Blog Party - July 5

As tonight's show airs, I'll be live-blogging and updating this entry on a regular basis. Please refresh the page to get the latest news! The real blog party is in the comments section -- please drop in and share your thoughts!

I realize that I didn't post a live feeds update this morning. But there were so many "what ifs" that it was like a circular discussion. For those who follow the feeds report, Christmas is back unless she goes tomorrow night. I'll post a report later tonight.

A new thing as of late --NO PERSONAL INFORMATION SUCH AS FULL NAMES/ADDRESSES ARE TO BE POSTED IN COMMENTS. This blog has thousands of readers and putting that information out there could be dangerous. All such comments have been removed and I'm not too happy that I said not to do it before it was done.

On with the show ...

Recap, recap. Megan just left the house. It seems so long ago.

Okay, now Alex is on the block. Cody likes her, but says he made the decision because his team wanted it.

Jessica tells Cody that he was emotional when he nominated Alex. She thinks it's a cute side of him. But she's jealous of what Cody might think of Alex. Oh, give me a break.

Alex wants to go after the showmances. Jason agrees with her as he's a married guy -- he will not be in a showmance this season!

Alex talks to Cody. She wont give it up. Cody likes her even more. He tells us he has to make it right.

The Den of Tempation wants them to enter one by one. They have to put their hand in the serpent's mouth. If it bites, it's the cursed one. They enter by bottle number order. Only Paul knows he won the Pendant of Protection and probably remembers the number of the random bottle pick.

Ramses's curse is that he has to place himself on the block as the third nominee sometime in the next three weeks.

Players get picked for the Veto Comp. Cody picks Matt. Alex picks Raven. Jillian gets Jason -- all random picks. The host is Kevin.

Heh, Kevin is a mermaid. The backyard is done in a beach theme. They have to gather starfish one at a time. First to find a large golden starfish gets off Have Not, but can no longer play for veto. Fin to Win.

Raven goes for the Temptation Starfish and is out of the comp.

Alex is taking some starfish from Matt's pile.

Cody obviously throws the comp. ALEX wins the Power of Veto!

Alex wanted to win it by herself. She didn't want Cody's help. Jessica is ticked.  Jason is worried he might go on the block. Even Matt is a bit upset that Alex has the veto. He brings up Jason as someone close to Alex. Paul throws in Ramses name. Cody thinks Paul is trying to puppetmaster and he (Paul) needs to go.

Paul goes to talk to Cody -- he doesn't want to even hint that he has protection. But he would like to know what Cody is thinking. Cody doesn't talk -- he says his actions will speak louder than his words. He tells us he plans on putting Paul on the block.

Jason goes to Cody, worried that he will go on the block and go home. Cody tells him he could be safe if he (Jason) gets HoH, doesn't put up Dominque or the couples. Um. Jason knows that if he goes on the block, he'll go home. Cody tells Jason nothing about who he'll put up. He tells us that both Paul and Christmas are dangerous.

Time for the Veto Meeting! This should be good. No one knows what Cody will do, not even Jessica. Alex saves herself. Cody says one common thread, someone trying to spoil the game, replacement nominee is Paul. The video screen comes to life for Paul to take out the Temptation. He tells them the Pendant of Protection keeps him safe for three weeks and he cannot be nominated. Cody nominates Christmas instead.
