Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Thursday - Sept. 13

His scheming may backfire

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Double Dilemmas:
  • In conversations, Tyler and Kaycee have noticed that Brett isn't being totally honest with them.
  • Sure, some of it is JC-tainted storytelling.
  • But some stuff Brett is leaving out.
  • His double agent days which he did so well for so long may be coming to an end.
  • With the double eviction ahead, he just might get the boot.
  • If Sam makes it through tonight, she might have a rude awakening -- I would bet BB will close down the Have Not room. They always do and never before have had someone want to stay alone in there.
  • Kaycee and JC had a long talk.
  • Kaycee told JC that Haleigh told her that JC said it will be a house vote to keep her.
  • Um, no. He did tell her not to worry. But they're all telling her not to worry.
  • JC also bad-mouthed Brett to her in his talk, saying he just keeps clowning around.
  • Actually, he's sort of right. As time has gone on, Brett has become as annoying at times as JC -- loud and full of himself.
  • But, JC is just trying to shift targets off of himself.
  • When he's with Brett, he shifts to Sam and Angela ... sometimes Kaycee.
  • Heck, he's even talked Tyler.
  • His game may end sooner rather than than later.
  • Or, Brett's game might end.
  • It looks like Sam might not be the next target although they've all discussed how well she gets along with the jury.
  • Sam told Brett that she was surprised that the BB psych tests pre-season showed she's not affectionate. She thinks she is. However, she decided they mean touchy-feely kind of affectionate, that she's not.
  • A new thing I saw yesterday is that the whole couch system is apparently on a track and can turn around.
  • JC was pushing it in circles with Tyler, in a new form of couch surfing, rode it.
  • Then JC and Tyler rode while Brett spun it in circles.
  • "Shut it DOWN."
  • Sam is being very nice to Haleigh.
  • Haleigh is being very nice to Sam.
  • We know what will happen in the first eviction tonight.
  • The second one should be very interesting no matter who wins HoH.
  • Will Level 6/4 become Level 6/3?
  • Will JC get the boot before Sam?
  • Hmm ...

What to do? What to do?

Kaycee who? Not anymore!

I will not miss this ... or the weird hair ears

Couch surfing

Trying on the dress for tonight

Sam: Their tests said I'm not affectionate

Big Brother 20: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Sept. 12

As the show airs here, I'll be live-blogging it -- refresh the page to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the discussion!

Previously on and on ...

BB Comics is back and a special surprise will leave the house in tears. (No, it's not the return of Swaggy C.)

We pick up after nominations. Kaycee tells us she's being loyal to Level 6 and Haleigh is the target. Sam is worried about her own status.

Tyler is trying to console Sam. He doesn't want her to go into Freak Out Mode. He wants her to stay in the game. Even Haleigh is consoling her although she tells us she wants Sam to lose her cool and move the target to her.

JC and Brett talk. JC think Sam might lose it. He mentions that if Haleigh or Sam get saved with the veto, it will be one of them -- Brett or JC -- on the block. Brett isn't worried because of Level 6, but he can't tell JC that.

Kaycee affirms it with Tyler that JC will go on the block if either Sam or Haleigh are saved.

Kaycee calls them all to the living room. Videos from home! Poor JC ... everyone had family in their videos except him. He had a dear friend. He feels his family doesn't accept him.

A Brett/JC segment. JC is calling it a bromance. Both are having fun and, as Brett says, if JC goes it's only Brett annoying people.

Veto players pick time! Kaycee draws Tyler. Haleigh draws Angela. Sam draws Houseguest's Choice and chooses Brett. She tells us she knows he'll have her back if he wins. JC is the only one not playing.

JC goes about trying to make Tyler suspicious of Brett ... because he (JC) doesn't want to go up as a replacement nominee. Then he tries to get Tyler against both Kaycee and Angela, too. Tyler sees right through it, but doesn't call him out.

Time for the veto comp! It is indeed BB Comics. A bit different this year. They see the comics for a few seconds each and then have to go into the "city" where they meet up with true comics character and an imposter. Punch out the imposter then a helicopter returns them to check the comics again. There's also a spinning balance beam log involved. The hamsters all have capes.

Kaycee wasn't shown getting any wrong except the Winston one (last) wasn't shown. Brett broke Winston.

How did they do?
Tyler - 6.35
Brett - 7.30
Kaycee - 2.17
Sam - 15.40
Angela - 9.53
Haleigh - Um ... it was double digit, 18 something maybe? I was ready to type it and JC didn't announce it.

KAYCEE wins the PoV!

Haleigh cries to us.

Tyler tells Kaycee that JC wants him to go after Angela and her. Now they're questioning Brett's loyalty.

Veto meeting time. Kaycee does not use the veto. After all, they were her nominations in the first place!

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - Sept. 11

JC made a 9/11 BB20 memorial

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Sunbathing Slumpsters:
  • Again, no huge news for you today.
  • I don't think you expected any anyway.
  • In the middle of the night, JC made a memorial for 9/11 in their peg wall.
  • He didn't tell anyone, so it was a surprise for them all.
  • Sam spent a lot of time with her little baggie of bits and pieces looking for something to fix the bracket for the cornhole game.
  • They expect the yard to close tomorrow.
  • So, much time was spent sunbathing and exercising.
  • Oh ... and just laying about.
  • Sam did sleep in the otherwise empty Have Not Room last night and napped in there today.
  • But I think BB will probably shut it off after Thursday.
  • Late last night Haleigh told Brett that she saw him celebrating with Kaycee, Angela and Tyler and believes they're all working together.
  • Brett denied it, saying he celebrates everyone's wins.
  • Haleigh told him she won't be campaigning because she won't be able to get three votes to stay. She also said she wasn't told this week that she's the pawn.
  • Well, she isn't the pawn.
  • Brett did his Brett thing, telling her to talk to Kaycee about the Angela/Tyler thing that she was speculating about.
  • Like that would do any good for her.
  • She doesn't want to create waves just in case she isn't the target.
  • @@
  • They both wondered if Angela is just using Tyler.
  • Haleigh told Brett that if she leaves this week, he needs to work with Tyler. After all, Tyler told her that he (Tyler) was low man on the totem pole.
  • Brett kept a straight face throughout.
  • Angela told Sam not to worry about Haleigh spending time with them, she (Sam) is fine.
  • Brett told JC that Sam has the jury in her pocket because everyone thinks the one odd vote to keep them came from her.
  • Yes, Sam, whether consciously or not, has been playing up to the jurors, often voting for them against the others, being their best buddy in their final hours in the house.
  • But I don't think Brett telling JC that has anything to do with this week. I think he's planning ahead so Sam will be targeted by JC if he wins HoH.
  • JC told Tyler that Brett's asking why Tyler isn't going to make a move to evict Angela in a double eviction.
  • Ha.
  • And on it goes ...
Sam went all curly girly today

I will not miss this at all

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds Monday, PoV Meeting - Sept. 10

After veto meeting hugs

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Biding Their Time:
  • Well, this day was just about totally uneventful.
  • They had the veto meeting in the morning.
  • As we all expected, Kaycee did not use the veto to change her own nominations.
  • Now, she could have caused chaos by backdooring Tyler!
  • But we knew that wasn't going to happen.
  • This group gets all huggy after veto and nominations meetings.
  • So, everyone went around hugging each other.
  • That and the fact that a moth was on a camera window in the backyard while Sam was in the hammock were my big excitement on the feeds today.
  • I caught the moth flying away in a screen capture below.
  • And, Sam didn't even notice!
  • Very little game talk today.
  • Very little showmance today, either.
  • They took advantage of the backyard.
  • JC isn't feeling that great.
  • He's off of slop, so maybe it's dawning on him that if he doesn't win HoH, he's likely to have his first time on the block.
  • Haleigh is still working hard at being buddies.
  • But it won't help her.
  • They all kept mentioning 17 more days.
  • The hamsters always get antsy this time of the season.
  • Speaking of ants, they seem to have no ant problems in a while. JC said it hasn't been a problem since Rachel left -- she used to leave food out.
  • That's about all I gots for ya ...

Peanut butter straight from the jar

Wants to move to CA with Tyler

Goes outside, does not sunbathe

Counting the days

Moth on the window

And there it flies away!

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds Sunday into Monday - Sept. 9-10

Don't sneak up on me!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Homesick Hamsters:
  • Usually Sundays are rather uneventful in the house -- no comps, the backyard opens, veto meeting not until Monday and they're in the doldrums.
  • For the most part, yesterday stayed true.
  • There wasn't even drama over the upcoming veto meeting.
  • Although Haleigh is still hanging out with her best buddies from the past couple of weeks, she knows she'll be voted out on Thursday.
  • The big event of Sunday was that they all got to see videos from their families.
  • You'd think they were away from them for twenty years!
  • Maybe I'm just jaded. Maybe it's because I lost my parents young and my siblings spread across the country. But these family/loved ones things on both BB and Survivor make it seem like they've been sentenced to 100 years in a Turkish prison or something! They've been gone for two months.
  • @@
  • Sam was relieved her family was still alive. Of all the hamsters, she's the only one who exiled herself, shed tears and murmured strange things to herself for an extended period.
  • Haleigh said her mother is letting her cat get fat.
  • In other news, Have Nots is over.
  • Sam wants to keep sleeping in the Have Not room -- she has the bed-making down to a science, it's the darkest in there at night and I think she values private space.
  • Usually BB shuts down and locks the Have Not room.
  • We'll have to see how that goes.
  • The backyard opened, so we got a whole lotta exercising and lazing about.
  • Haleigh told JC she's sad. He tried to pep-talk her a bit. No one has come out and told her she's going home this week.
  • But she knows it.

Big Brother 20: Nominations Show Blog Party - Sept. 9

As the show airs here, I'll be live-blogging it -- refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the discussion!

Please remember the show posts, like this one, are spoiler-free zones. While many already know the PoV winner and more, it has not played out on the show. Feel free to post spoiler comments on any of the live feeds posts, but not here ... also please don't ask for spoilers information in this post. Thank you!

Tonight's show is delayed here. While I'm setting this post to post for around 8pm ET, the show should be starting at about 8:18pm ET. I'll start updating the post once it starts.

Previously on is focusing on the Tyler/Angela showmance, then into Scottie's eviction. We also have a hint of the Victor and Nicole visit.

After Kaycee wins the HoH, Haleigh tells us she knows she will be on the block this week. Sam, although upset, tells us she must be doing something right because she's still there ... but she feels alone and it's really hard.

Angela and Kaycee talk. Kaycee thinks she needs to put Haleigh on the block ... with Sam.

HoH Room reveal time. She tears up as she reads the letter from her brother. He asks her to stand next to him when he gets married to the woman he loves. Tyler tells us that Kaycee is actually a kind, sweet Teddy bear. (She actually seems to be very nice on the live feeds.)

A segment on Angela's sense of smell. She thinks food smells off and so many things in the house smell. Heh. Sam smells like her grandmother and JC smells like sweat. Tyler, on the other hand, smells amazing.

Kaycee tells Brett that she has to figure a nice way to tell Sam she's the pawn this week. Brett goes and tells Sam that the whole house wants Haleigh out and, no matter what happens, she is good. She must remain calm. He tells us he's basically covering his butt. Sam tells us that she trusts Brett.

Sam talks to Kaycee, congratulating her on her HoH. She tells her that Haleigh is the main target. Sam tells Kaycee that Haleigh tries to make her snap. Kaycee tells her to stay calm and she's safe.

Then Haleigh talks to Kaycee. She kept telling Kaycee she has her and doesn't want Kaycee to think she's just saying that. So she says it a half-dozen times.

Nicole from BB18 shows up, then Victor is on the screen. The hamsters are watching from the HoH room. He goes on about how special she is and his next chapter will be with her. He shows up live in the house with a haircut and no beard. He proposes marriage. She says yet.

The doorbell rings. Josh, Paul, Derrick, Britney and Dani show up. They finally let this season's group out of the HoH room to mix and mingle. Champagne, cake and fun all around.

After a brief JC hula hoop segment, we're into Tyler asking Angela about her life. She started with the gymnastics at five, no childhood, no life. Her mother seems to be like a show business mother, focusing on Angela's "talent." It ruined the family in many ways. She quit it at seventeen. She decided to go for pole vaulting and broke records. Tyler thinks she's pretty amazing.

Haleigh goes to Kaycee once again. Kaycee says she wants the least amount of blood on her hands. She tells Haleigh she doesn't have any real targets in the house. Haleigh cries to Kaycee. Haleigh cries to us. Kaycee tells us she loves Haleigh but is always loyal to her alliance.

Time for the Nominations Ceremony --
She nominates Haleigh, then Sam.
Haleigh put her on the block twice, Sam voted against the house twice. Love you both.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Sunday, Power of Veto - Sept. 9

Look! Up in the air! It's SUPER SAM!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hamster Superheroes:
  • The comp didn't finish/feeds return until past 3am here.
  • I did not stay up.
  • Once again, BBAD aired JC waiting out the comp in the HoH room while the people who pay for the live feeds via CBS All Access got reruns.
  • That needs to stop ... even though JC couldn't see the comp and was a grump (apparently) throughout.
  • This update will be rather short and to the point as I had rather upsetting news regarding a death in my family. Not my immediate family (which is only two brothers at this point), but a young cousin I cared about who just couldn't fight the demons.
  • The comp was the comics one, albeit a bit different -- something about being lowered by a helicopter and a balance beam. I think, from what they said, the balance beam might have been in place of the zip line.
  • Kaycee won the veto -- doing incredibly well and, from what I gathered, went through only once.
  • Her time was 2.17.
  • Brett thinks Sam threw the comp.
  • The comics with those who won the Crap Apps featured said crap apps.
  • They said that Rockstar's either was or should have been RockSTARE as she always stared.
  • I'm glad they noticed that and it wasn't just me!
  • So, things are in motion for the Haleigh eviction this week.
  • They already think it will be a Double Eviction and are trying to plan.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Saturday Evening - Sept. 8

So proud of Level 6

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Not So Patient Polecats:
  • I really have so little for you.
  • It's going for 11pm here on the East Coast and they haven't even started the veto comp.
  • The only one not playing for veto will be JC.
  • It seems that JC will be the host, yet they've been expecting someone to ring the doorbell.
  • Although Brett seems to be in with JC on eliminating Kaycee and Angela, he only wants to do so after JC is gone.
  • He's true to his alliance as per a long talk with Kaycee.
  • He thinks it will be great to have just them in the house for a while and be able to talk without censoring themselves.
  • He and Kaycee think FOUTTE went wrong because they talked and weren't loyal to each other.
  • On the other hand, Level 6/4 is very loyal and very secretive.
  • While Haleigh's figured out that the four are working together, she has no clue it all started on Day Two.
  • Haleigh's still trying to mix and mingle.
  • But she seems to know she's gone unless she wins the veto.
  • Most of them napped the day away.
  • Or small-talked.
  • Or sang/hummed/quoted movie dialog and got the wrath of the BB Voice.
  • Sam spent an inordinate amount of time in different resting positions on the skywalk floor.
  • Then she napped in her satellite dish bed.
  • The showmance goes on with Tyler and Angela albeit it strained because they're in one of the open bedrooms.
  • They were all eating a snack mix -- I think it may have been Sam's Puppy Chow -- from an open container. Haleigh would chew on her nails, then stick her fingers in to get some.
  • EW.
  • Like I said, I don't have much for you.
  • We should have a veto winner by morning.
  • Whoops, the feeds just went to reruns.

When is this veto ever going to start?

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds Friday, Nominations - Sept. 7

Dressed for the nominations ceremony

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Returning Rodents:
  • The feeds have been blocked for a good part of the day.
  • From morning into afternoon they were blocked because the hamsters had visiting BB veterans.
  • The veterans were limited in what they could say, so more of the talk was about the house changes, their past seasons and such.
  • From the talks afterward, I gathered this to be the list of visitors: Derrick, Paul, Josh, Dani Donato (yeah, I know she's married now, but I can spell Donato), Victor, Nicole and Britney.
  • They had champagne and cake. I'm assuming the Have Nots were allowed.
  • Sam felt complimented when there were so many comments about how clean the house is compared to past seasons. This is even though she didn't deep clean yesterday.
  • Kaycee's favorite, as was Tyler's -- Derrick.
  • Victor proposed to Nicole and I'm sure we'll see that on the show!
  • He even shaved and had a haircut to do the deed.
  • JC liked being able to talk in Spanish with Victor.
  • Victor, however, didn't have the language barriers that JC has faced this season. JC is still learning English.
  • The hamsters were surprised what good friends the whole group seemed to be despite problems during their own seasons and coming from different seasons.
  • In other news, Haleigh started questioning Kaycee about what she's going to do for the nominations.
  • Kaycee told her she wants the least amount of blood on her hands.
  • Whoops! Haleigh ... you're going on the block!
  • Instant tears but she says she understands.
  • She really doesn't want to do more Diary Room bits about how bad she needs to win the veto.
  • Haleigh talked about how close they've grown the past few weeks.
  • Sorry, Haleigh. Kaycee has had a pretty tight group of friends since the start.
  • Oh ... and she also wants Kaycee to sleep with her. A sleepover! Kaycee didn't really take to the idea.
  • I don't know if Kaycee warned Sam -- if she did, I missed it.
  • What little feeds we had today had no JC, or little JC. He's in his Have Not Grump and napping the time away.
  • Brett and Tyler both talked with Sam about how not smooth they are with girls.
  • At one point when Sam was alone in the Have Not room making beds again, she started talking about whether losing $500,000 to your true love is worth it. Huh? Then she said she was crazy. Okaaaay.
  • Now I'm just waiting for the feeds block to end -- nominations ceremony.
  • I'm just about sure Kaycee will follow through with what I heard last night -- Sam and Haleigh.
  • But I want to be sure before I post.
  • Yes, the feeds are back.
  • Haleigh and Sam are nominated for eviction.
  • Sam is smiling and taking it well.
  • That is possibly only due to the lack of curbs in the house.

I was never smooth with girls

Kaycee broke the news to Haleigh early

Congratulations, Victor and Nicole!

Didn't know who Dani is, but liked her

I couldn't resist this screen cap

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Friday Morning - Sept. 7

Not a surfer, but riding the wave

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Bewildered Beasts:
  • Oh my. Scottie's exit really shocked them, Angela in particular.
  • We heard the choppy censored version. Like any live show on television, there is actually a several seconds delay.
  • What Scottie said in the speech was they were all dicking around and can suck it ... except for Tyler who gets Hilton Head. Then he flipped them all off, said a bunch of vulgarities as he bolted to the door. He also tried to close the door so they couldn't see the crowd (a big thing for them).
  • Angela didn't get it right away and said it dawned on her as she was reading the HoH comp paper.
  • JC didn't get it until they were discussing it after the live show.
  • Angela, rightfully so, feels that she's been personally attacked and slandered two weeks in a row.
  • She's very upset even though everyone tried to console her.
  • And, I watch these live feeds -- despite the showmance with Tyler, it's all been rather innocent. They have not had sex in the house -- like so many have -- and have done little other than talk, cuddle and barely kiss.
  • Of course, Scottie's exit makes Haleigh feel vindicated in staying this week. She was thinking it was going to be herself evicted.
  • She also thinks she has some kind of weird bond with Julie Chen.
  • Um, no, girl. You don't. The compliments come off as totally fake.
  • In other news, Sam went into her Weirdness After Eviction mode.
  • She laid around, sometimes talking to herself.
  • She cleaned and organized almost every room in the house.
  • She made all the beds.
  • She reorganized the storage room and kitchen.
  • For someone who gets so upset about any wasted food, she uses way too many paper towels! Trees, Sam, trees.
  • While she attended the HoH room reveal, she was the first to leave after Kaycee read her letter.
  • Kaycee's letter was from her younger brother and she choked up.
  • Now comes the dilemma -- who to put on the block.
  • Tyler and Kaycee had a long talk.
  • Of course, Haleigh will be the target.
  • I think Haleigh even knows that.
  • They think that a Sam/Haleigh nomination with a JC back-up would be best.
  • They think it's going to be easy to tell Haleigh.
  • But what will Kaycee say to Sam, her little buddy?
  • They will tell her that she's just a pawn and won't go home.
  • But they feel that they must say some reason for not putting Brett, Tyler or Angela up there.
  • Dilemmas, dilemmas.

Smiling ... for now
