BB21: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - July 31

Okay, tonight we'll have the PoV comp. Word on the street is that it might have farm animals. Perhaps we shouldn't let Jackson near it? Speaking of Jackson, Entertainment Weekly, which is usually pro-BB, had a rather revealing article on Jackson right at this link. Hopefully something will be said on the live show tomorrow. I don't think they can keep ignoring the bad publicity or think by giving them a bit worse edit that fans will be happy.

I'll be live-blogging the major events as they air here on the East Coast. Refresh this page to get the latest update! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Previously on … and on.

We pick up at the end of the nominations ceremony with Nick and Sam on the block. Nick knew he's being targeted. Sam thinks he's supposedly a pawn. Mick and Sam are talking about the PoV players -- Nick wants to pick Jess because he could beat her and thinks that she would go home before Sam. Sam is still worried. Nicole is worried that either she or another one of her allies would go up as a replacement.

Kat tells Holly that she's willing to go up as a pawn if either Nick or Sam come down. They think, not only would it not "get blood on Holly's hands" but it would also conceal that they're working together.

Time to pick veto players -- Holly randomly draws Tommy. Sam gets Houseguest's Choice and picks Cliff. Nick draws Jessica. Holly chooses Jack to host the comp.

Veto comp time! It's a farm setting. They're dressed in farmer gear. There are sheep for the sheeple! How fitting is that? They have to herd them head to head. Counting sheep is the name of the comp. The order is chosen for them.

Nick vs. Jess is the first pair facing off. Their target number is seven. They have to collect sheep with numbers adding up to the number seven. Nick wins and advances to the next round.

Holly and Sam next. Their target number is eight. Holly wins and advances.

Cliff and Tommy are next with a target number of nine. Tommy wins and advances.

Nick and Holly face off with a target number of 15. Nick wins the round and Holly is eliminated.

Nick and Tommy go for the final round. Their target number is 21.

NICK WINS THE POWER OF VETO! Sam is sad, but he says he's still going to try. Holly isn't pleased because Nick was her target.

Christie talks to Holly. Is this a sign from above? Is Sam the bigger threat? Holly says that if she puts up Kat, that's a pawn. If she puts up Nicole, that's a target.

Christie and Tommy are given a poison ivy treatment -- bright pink "calamine lotion."

Sam tried to talk to Holly -- he wants someone with baggage next to him on the block. He tells her he has no beef with her, would never go after her. She brings up Nicole to him. He says she tried to play both sides. She tells us there are big threats, but they're in her alliance. Maybe she could use Sam to take those shots.

Holly talks about Nicole with CHristie. Christie thinks that would be a waste because "she won't win anything." Sam could win an HoH. Christie tells us she thinks something fishy is going on because Holly is pushing the Nicole agenda. Tommy runs to Analyse with the intel. It's now a red flag to her. Cracks are cracking more in their alliance.

Analyse runs to Jackson and Holly with the information. Jackson is getting more ticked about it than Holly. They don't like to hear that they're considered a couple. Well, duh. Maybe they shouldn't be a couple. Jackson is very disturbed that people think he might have a deal with Nick.

Jackson goes to Christie about the rumor that he and Holly are working with Nick and Sam. Hw claims it's Holly's HOH and not anyone else's. She talks to Holly to smooth things over. She brings Tommy in to talk with Holly. Now Holly thinks Analyse is planting seeds. Holly talks to Jackson. He says she doesn't have to bark at him. She was talking calmly, mind you.

Time for the veto meeting. Nick, of course, saves himself. In his place, Holly puts (the pawn) Kat on the block. Someone she doesn't talk a  lot of game with and doesn't know where her head is at. Yeah, right.

So, tomorrow night it will be either Sam or Kat leaving.

BB21: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - July 30

I'm shocked she's kept the Tommy secret

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Frustrated Fans:
  • This is going to be a bit brief tonight. I'm one of those frustrated fans, y'see.
  • Sam, sure he's going home on Thursday, had been practicing a big throw Christie under the bus eviction speech. He wanted to blow up her game, tell how she conspired with others to go against members of her own alliance and all.
  • He told Nicole the speech. She didn't seem to have  much reaction. I think she just might be happy she didn't get put on the block this week.
  • However, Nick freaked at Sam's speech … mainly because some of the information to Sam came from him.
  • He asked Sam not to do it because he is trying to get back in with them.
  • What is wrong with Nick?
  • Why doesn't he see that ship has sailed? They don't want him for anything but OUT.
  • Sam seems to have backed down from his speech but told Nick he should know that he'll never really get back in with them.
  • Of course, both Sam and Cliff have been running to them with information.
  • Dang, all of this make Jess look better.
  • Last night Jackson was (supposedly) sick and had to be seen be a doctor. He claimed he had been vomiting.
  • Now, that couldn't be the week's worth of groceries he eats every singled day, could it?
  • It got them talking -- apparently both Tommy and Cliff had diarrhea. They talked about undercooked chicken and some other things.
  • I don't know. One day I saw them leave uncooked meat out on the table for hours and hours. Jackson drinks out of the communal drink jugs and eats out food storage containers with his bare hands.
  • Tommy and Christie no longer have poison ivy.
  • Holly and Jackson were talking. Jackson was going on about Kat, but Holly spoke up for her saying that she thinks some of the things he takes umbrage at (not how she termed it) were just Kat's way of deflecting things or stabs at humor.
  • They also talked about once the Six get down. Holly was saying that they're likely to be targeted because they're a real couple. According to her, Tommy and Christie aren't a real couple. She's right.
  • Then she said, "Sis and Jack aren't a couple. They're just two people who have sex together."
  • She seems to ignore that Jackson had Kat before he had her.
  • BB has put a "sex stool" in the non-camera HoH shower stall.
  • Christie has been giving them tips on how to use it.
  • @@
  • Hey, CBS … I'm an adult. If I want to watch/hear about porn, I could go elsewhere. I'm so sick of the casting on BB that gets people who just want to jump in bed with each other.
  • For the record -- No sex for Nicole, Jess, Cliff, Sam, Tommy, Christie, Kemi, Ovi, David (although he did have a flirtmance with Kat, but I'm okay with that). Of those, three are married, so it's a very good thing.

Listening to Christie talk and talk

Sick last night, eating again today

BB21: Live Feeds Monday, PoV Meeting - July 29

The one who gets him out deserves the win

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Pompous Pups:
  • Oh, the talk went back and forth.
  • There are strong rumblings about the Jacks -- Jackson in particular.
  • Like me, they sometimes call him Michie, sometimes call him Jackson.
  • It would be nice if one of those names was a decent personality.
  • But they both pretty much suck.
  • The girls were talking about teaming up with Sam to take him out.
  • What girls? Holly, Analyse and Christie.
  • However, in order to keep Sam to work with them, they'd need to keep Sam.
  • When Nick takes himself down with the veto, they'd have to put up someone who would go home instead of Sam.
  • Y'know … if they put up Jackson, I'd just bet he'd go home!
  • But … noooo.
  • They won't do that.
  • The talk was on and off about putting Nicole up.
  • Kat had volunteered to go up as a pawn. Of course, that would mean that Sam leaves this week.
  • Holly wanted the HoH, but she sure doesn't want to make the decision. Now, she does have Jackson to tell her what to do, but ...1
  • She took the easy way out.
  • When Nick took himself down, she put Kat on the block.
  • So, we have Sam and Kat on the block.
  • You do realize that, for me, Kat is my big hope of actually making a move against Jackson.
  • Sam could have been that hope. But he's blown it by repeatedly falling in as a sheep for the Six.
  • He knows that they have no loyalty to him. He could have played differently all along.
  • I do doubt they'll save him. They think of him as a strong person in comps. That he is. But aside from the comps and the one saving of Cliff, he's shown pretty bad strategy.
  • Plus, unlike most of them, he probably earns more weekly than the stipend. He doesn't want to just make it to jury.
  • In other news, Holly has her rash back now that she's sleeping in the HoH room with Jackson once again. She thinks they need an exterminator and the problem is in the HoH room.
  • Odd. Cliff didn't get a rash sleeping in there.
  • Nor did Nick or Bella.
  • I believe it's Jackson.

Not lookin' too good for Sam

What does she add to the house? Seriously ...

The wolves will get Nicole soon enough

And then there's Cliff

BB21: HoH Comp, Nominations Show Blog Party - July 28

Tonight we'll see the continuation of the endurance HoH comp from Thursday night and then the nominations. As those who follow the live feeds or my other posts, that's all old news now! But, some people come to the show posts as strictly show only folks. So, I do ask for no spoilers in the comments.

As the show airs here on the East Coast I'll be live-blogging the major events and updating this entry. Please refresh the page to get the latest happenings! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Remember -- Jess, then Nicole already fell in the comp before the live show ended~

Sitting through the "previously on."

We see Jess go down again in the HoH and we're getting desperate DR sessions form those who feel they must win. Cliff would SO not be good in this comp! Jess draws a chip from the box -- two will get a poison ivy punishment. The other chips seem to be just safety from that punishment. Nicole is down and she too is safe from the punishment.

In clips we see Christie trash-talking Jackson and Nick running to tell Jackson.

Oh noes! Sam is all over the place on his vines and … boom, he's down! He is safe from punishment.

Wet calamine lotion is being sprayed on them. Christie is out and … BOOM, she gets a punishment chip! Heh.

Nick is out. His "groins" were on fire. He doesn't get the punishment, at least it's not mentioned. Now ivy leaves are coming down on the participants.  In clips, Jackson is haranguing Kat. More glop is splashed on them.

Jack is down! Too bad, so sad! He's safe from the poison ivy punishment.

Analyse points out her athletic abilities in soccer, but says this is horrible. Tommy doesn't want to win the HoH. He feels safe. Whoops, he falls down! AND … he got the second poison ivy punishment chip!

Holly, Jackson, Analyse and Kat remain. Kat tells us she refuses to come down before Jackson does.

JACKSON IS DOWN! Kat gives it a minute, then drops after getting a promise of safety from the girls. It's down to Holly and Analyse. They try to talk deals while Jackson keeps telling Holly not to drop. Even Christie who thinks it's all about Christie thinks Jackson thinks all should be about him. He keeps dictating that Holly stay up. The two girls -- Analyse and Holly -- know that they're safe no matter who wins. Analysie is down.

HOLLY WINS HOH! Or, Jackson wins HoH, so to speak. Analyse is ticked off that Jackson kept barking for Holly to stay up when they're all in the same alliance. But we know a win for Holly is an HoH for Jackson, too!

Jackson tells us he wanted Holly to win so he can tell her what to do … er open her eyes and take a look at things.

Cliff, trying to keep up good will, is handing out beer from his HoH basket. He doesn't want to go on the block. Nick is sure he's going up. Sam is worried and feels he needs to talk game for the first time with Holly. Christie is also feeling Analyse's pain over how Jackson acted in the comp towards Holly.

Heehee. Cricket noises when Holly wants to know who wants to see her HoH room. The oohs and aahhhs and a letter from her mother. Obviously written before she jumped into the sack with Jackson … or she's not allowed to reprimand her. Nicole was touched.

Christie goes on an anti-Michie trip. She annoys me but her comments about him are spot on.

Jackson/Michie is advising Holly to put up Sam and Nick. She is worried about putting both of them up at the same time. Then he tells her to put up Nicole and Nick … because there would be less of a chance of them coming after him.

Whose HoH is this?

Kat pushes her moon landing conspiracy theories but Cliff is a firm believer. She also spouts off several other conspiracy theories. Y'know, I was just starting to like Kat. But this is a bit much.

Christie and Tommy get their poison ivy punishments. They have painted airbrushed red splotches all over them and leaf bathing suits. They're must stay inside for four days and cannot shower.

Sam talks to Holly/Jackson and points out that he could work with them. He's willing to be on the bottom even. He tells them that he wouldn't nominate them.

Holly tells us she doesn't know what she's going to do. (I guess she has to make sure what Jackson wants her to do.)

And, the moment of truth … time for nominations. Holly nominates Nick, then Sam. She thinks the key is trust and teamwork. Nick lost trust and Sam was caught in the crossfire.

BB21: Live Feeds into Sunday Afternoon - July 28

Making the parents so proud!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Ill Repute:

  • I've seen this season compared to last season with a big alliance oretty much ruling the house.
  • Yeah, that did happen.
  • However …
  • Last year the "sides" went back and forth with HoH reigns.
  • Last year one side just didn't act together and the other side did.
  • Last year the dominating side wasn't mean or sleazy.
  • This year, BOTH sides are screwing up and not on the same page. The majority side talks about taking out their own people almost as often as they talk about taking out the other targets.
  • This year, the minority side just keeps going with the flow of the majority side even though they know they'll be picked off one by one. No one really makes the REAL big move.
  • Yeah, Cliff made a big move when he put the Jacks up on the block. But, unless you follow through and make one of them go home, it's not big move completed at all.
  • I just don't understand why folks like Cliff, Nicole, Sam, Kat and even Jess (and now Nick) think that getting accepted "into" the group will save them. They need to start working together, stop voting as a house!
  • Of course, that's all a moot thing this week with Nick/Sam on the block and Nick winning the veto.
  • Kat has volunteered to be a pawn on the block next to Sam with the thinking she won't be voted out. She's nervous about it, though.
  • Christie seems to go back and forth between declaring Nicole shady and then saying they should have her work with them.
  • Holly wants to put Nicole up against Sam, but then they're not sure Sam with go home then and he's more of a threat in winning comps.
  • Christie wants to make it all about her and is panicking that she might be put up. @@
  • All that's really certain is that Nick will save himself.
  • Sam really does seem to have thrown in the towel. He's already packed his bags. He wants to deep clean the kitchen so that he doesn't have to talk game.
  • "I'm so over that," he said.
  • The house has just about gone through the whole new supply of groceries thanks mainly to Jackson.
  • I cannot believe the amount of food he eats. I guess it's good that he's so into fruit or he'd be 400 pounds. Even so and even with his cheating all week Have Not time last week, it looks to me like he's gained about 20 pounds since the season started.
  • Something's wrong with that boy!
  • Well, there are other things wrong with him, too.
  • Of course, he's back in bed with Holly. After all, he can't get at Analyse yet due to Jack and Holly is HoH.
  • It creeped me out yesterday to see him in a room with others, stand up, reach way down in his pants to mess with himself somehow, then sit and invite Holly to sit on his lap -- "Want some of this?"
  • Blech.
  • Oh … by the way, although Jack seems to have chastised just about every female in the house over food and refrigerator stuff, like penalties from production, Jackson is immune.
  • He drinks out of the communal milk jug. Jack doesn't say boo to him.
  • I don't like these people.
  • And, even the people I like are screwing up this season.
  • Woe is me.

Blowing a feather in the air game

Shoving hand down pants before Holly sits on him

Veto winner & Cliff in veto farmer gear

Who is this? Why is she there?

Always eating (or sexing), getting pudgy.

Is it THAT cold in the house?
