I am soooooo disappointed. Dick lost me when he didn't pay his debt by keeping Eric. (I guess that I see where Danielle learned about not paying what's owed) ...A whole summer wasted for me.
I posted this on the last topic, but nobody responded, so I'm trying again over here, because I'm really curious if anyone agrees:
Dani asked Dick, if he wins the first part of the next comp, will he let her win the second part so she can be HOH. Do you think she would ever consider taking Zach instead of Dick to final 2 if she wins the last HOH? She would beat Zach with no problem because of her record of competition wins (IMO).
I was almost afraid to read this, I was even dreaming that Dick won it. I'll settle for Dani winning it! Go Dick and Dani... goodbye Jameka, you didn't do much except for praying anyway!!! D & D all the way to the end!!!
Guess Zach isn't so smart after all! Finally, goodbye to Jameka. So long overdue. She must not have done enough chanting. This next HOH should be very interesting. They all want it so bad! As always, rooting for D&D!
I really don't think that Dani would take Zach over Dick to the finale because she has so many more enemies in the jury house. Zach doesn't have many enemies, just people that would say "Zach who?" Dani would have a better shot over Dick but personally I don't think she's going to win over either of them so she may as well stick with dear old dad and hopes he'll give her some money at the end!
Dick the new dr. will....he has played everyone in the game and should win the money. I am afraid that Dani will use him to win, hopefully the jury will see through her backstabbing and lying ways. She does not deserve the money she got by by winning comps. and having ED around...she is a semi-floater.

I only say that Dick should have at least honored his agreement w/Eric because he would have been GONE were it not for Eric. As to his plans...who knows? The poor guy had to do everything America told him. He had the most difficult game to play BY FAR.
Who cares who wins now, Dad or daughter. The money will be all gone on fast cars and junk before the year is out and they will be looking around for some other gig to get some more cash . This is a show, entertainment. They did the job and got paid . Do we want them as friends? Not me.
Congrats Dick and Dani, u two just won the game! Jameka will be evicted this week and then Dick and Dani are the only two eligible to play for HoH bc Zack as outgoing Hoh can't compete. So Zack will be the next evictee. I'm astounded I can't believe they pulled it off, making final two together! I'm shocked and amazed.

Yeah I think Dani would sell her Dad down the river to win. She actually talked about it with Zach a week or 10 days ago. Plus she could probably convince her Dad that he needs to be on the Jury to campaign for votes for her to win it all. If she does win it all I hope Dick is not expecting her to buy him a beer and order of wings at Hooter's much less drop any serious cash or gifts on him. I don't think she would be very generous with the winnings. Her actions and words make it real plain that it is all about her.

And if she took Zack instead of Dick to the Final 2, it might also be the worst strategic move ever. It's her Dad, he'll share. What the heck would Zack do? Part of $500,000 + $50,000 of your own money is much better than $50,000 of your own. She may be cocky, but she can't know for sure that the jury would vote for her.
Daniele will not take Zach to the final two if she wins HOH. She'll take her father. Obviously they have an extremely strong bond, regardless of their issues.
They usually have a 3 part competition. The first person that wins is guaranteed a spot in the F2. Then the 2 others compete for the next spot. I can't remember if the first winner has a chance to choose between them (I keep remembering Maggie and Ivette in Season 6). I think Ivette chose Maggie over Janelle. Were they tied?
Kat and Anon 9:12 - you're right about everyone (including Zach) getting a shot at winning the final HOH. But Dick and Dani are convinced that even if Zach made it to Final 2, he would never win the $500,000 against either of them. Because of the general dislike of Zach amongst the jury members, and because D/D think they can out-talk Zach in the jury Q/A and make a better case for themselves (which, unfortunately, I agree with).
Dick's made comments about he and Dani splitting the winnings, but I don't see Dani following through on that, if she is the $500,000 winner. Which is why I'll be curious to see if she wins the last HOH, if she doesn't take Zach to Final 2. I do think she would win against him, but maybe not against her father.

Sun taped show - Zach winning HOH and nominations
Tues live show - taped POV comp, live POV ceremony and Jameka's eviction, begin Part 1 of last HOH comp (usually endurance)
Weds - Winner of Part 1 sits out, remaining two HGs compete in Part 2.
Thurs live show - Winners of Part 1&2 compete in Part 3 (while other person sits out.) Final winner is HOH and decides who to take with them to Final 2. Other person evicted.
Jury has Q/A of Final 2 (taped over the weekend).
Tues (9/18) live finale - HGs select winner by placing keys in box, Julie pulls out keys one by one and reveals each jury vote
Thanks for your detailed explanation. I couldn't remember! I kept getting it confused thinking that the first winner was the guaranteed F2 instead of the final winner.
clementine... At the end of the last thread we were talking about what if Daniele votes Dick off instead of Jameka? I don't know if she'd actually do it or not, but she has said that to him since POV, in a kidding around way. Maybe she asked Dick if he'd let her win to gauge what she is going to do with veto. YIKES...what a thought...

I definitely agree it would a wild and wooly finale.

I also think it would be a bad strategic move on Dani's part to backdoor her Dad this week and I don't think she will do that. I still stand by my earlier statements that I believe Dani would not hesitate to evict her Dad and take Zach to the final 2 if she thought it would better her chances at winning it all. I do think this is faulty logic since if Dick and Dani were the final 2 they both would get the money. Dani is good at comps but she is selfish and immature so I am not sure that she wouldn't do it to get in a dig at her Dad, especially if she is convinced that she would win the $500,000 regardless of who is next to her.
thanks kat... I wasn't sure of the last. I remember now that Mike Boogie (I can't remember his real last name) and Erica sat beside each other in Comp #3 and answered quesstions. She threw the comp to Boogie if I remember correctly because he promised to take her to the final 2.
We hoped he would "throw her under the bus" and take Janelle instead, but knew he wouldn't really be that stupid because Janelle would have taken first.
Hope these three comps are just as good as last years.

I think it is so great given how they started out! It seems as if Dick would have be kicked out immediately.
They are a great team; he the master manipulator/intimidator and she the compeditor. He spits and curses and she whines and they will do so all the way to the bank! You go Donato's!

I'm not sure I know either, after reading the comments here at Jackie's this evening. Remember all the goodbye messages from Daniele to Jury members? --Smile, I really like you, it was just stategy. You are so good, you scare me.-- I have actually seen jury members nod their head at those messages.
The jury will proably vote for best game playing over emotion...at least in the past they have. Getting out either D will sway some votes to Zach, because it is the audacious move. If Zach is evicted first, then I don't know which D the jury will prefer. Dick just told his daughter that she is America's Sweetheart, she probably believes it. Maybe she is to some. Janelle told her she liked her. I think Daniele believes the jury will vote for her over her dad. I would like the Zach and either D ending to hear the questions, but if it is the double Ds at the end, then I will want to hear Daniele's speech to the jury to convince them to vote for her over her dad. "I am sweet and pretty and he is full of spit'. Or something like that. Sue
I think it would have been a lot more exciting if Jameka or Zach would have won. Nothing is better than seeing Daniele sulking and sputtering when she does not get her way! It's hard for me to see Dick or Daniele win, especially after the crude physical and verbal attacks on Jen. He said and did some awful things. Hard to forget that.

As of Thursday's show I was intensely against Daniele winning the game. I was hoping and hoping that she would be the next to go. However her prowess in the veto comps is redeeming and I wouldn't be too disappointed now if she did indeed win. Same with Zach now for other reasons...
anyway, funny how things shift so extremely. strategy, opinions (for myself and the HGs) etc.

I just remember, Erica won Comp #1. She didn't play in Comp #2.
Comp #2 Boogie and Janelle were attached to a rope and had to "fly" around lineing up lazers to mirrors. Boogie Won.
Comp #3 - Boogie and Erica played. Don't remember what it was. Boogie won... He chose to take Erica to Final 2

I'm canceling my live feeds. I can't stand to watch another minute of Dick's vulgarities and his and listen to his daughter's whining.
