Big Brother 10: Live feeds into Friday Dawn

Yes, Dan won the HOH comp late last night, but has he sold his soul? My special report on the comp is up over on TV Squad. However, let me catch you up with more here.

  • Not really a recent development, but since I've seen grumbling about Dan wearing his hooded jacket. I think Ollie's gloves even that advantage out. Both had an idea from the wake-up song that they'd be in an endurance comp. Rain is a standard BB ploy in those and gloves often are a great help, too. It seems both Ollie and Dan tried to think ahead.
  • From the talk after the comp (BB had the feeds blocked for the real deal while they were still dangling), it seems that Dan did indeed tell Ollie that he wouldn't nominate him and one other person. That person, of course, will be Michelle.
  • Ollie thinks the deal covers naming the nominees, but Dan said he could name the replacement nominee if the veto is used.
  • Dan already seemed to be regretting his deal when he talked to Memphis. He seemed to hint that Memphis might be in danger and that he had to work with "her." Hmm ... Michelle? Renny? I just don't know.
  • Keesha told Renny that she heard Dan tell Ollie he could pick the second person to keep safe.
  • Memphis thinks Dan should just give Ollie the HOH.
  • Michelle played dumb with Memphis. Deal? What deal?
  • They're all a bit worried about someone coming back because Julie asked Memphis about it on the show.
  • Dan told Keesha he wouldn't put her on the block.
  • HOH room, blah-blah, pictures, letter from home. His girlfriend Monica sent him a shirt with "Taken" on it. (He's been very well-behaved in that aspect of house doings, but look at his choices.)
  • There were audio problems galore as the night wore on.
  • Ollie told Michelle he gets to pick one of the nominees, neither he or Michelle get nominated, and he gets to pick the replacement if the veto is used.
  • Ollie also told Michelle that he thinks Dan is a plant -- he's sure he saw him in the hall with Monica at CBS.
  • He's also suspicious that Dan had a raincoat type jacket in California.
  • Ollie thinks that Monica might be the one coming into the house. @@
  • Ollie and Michelle are thinking it might be a double eviction week coming.
  • Michelle fussed that Dan got more goodies for the HOH refrigerator than she did.
  • Michelle and Ollie are all into conspiracy theories. Now they think the show planned for April to go and that's the reasoning she won the five designer outfits in that comp. @@
  • Finally all fell asleep.
  • Jerry is up looking like the Undead as I post this.

Wow I am first...That is a first...
I think Dan will back out of his deal with Ollie....

That is crazy that Dan made such a deal with Ollie. Stupid is all I can say

Anonymous said...

Judas will come out this week..I really haven't liked Dan but think that he knows this is a game and he wants the money....
I do think its wierd that the only one told wasn't going up was Keesha

Anonymous said...

cha cha--I was surprised Dan saved Keesha, too. I thought he was tighter with Memphis.

Dan knows this game and I don't think he was that stupid in his deal-making without ulterior motives.

Even though everyone is saying Dan should have just given Ollie the HOH it is Dan who got the letter from home and goodies.

Dan knows that Renny is safe from Ollie(he seems to really like her) and it still isn't clear who gets to pick the noms. Dan is saying one thing and Ollie is saying another. If Ollie picked Memphis and Dan picked Jerry--Jerry is gone. Memphis has enough votes to stay. Maybe Dan played all the scenarios out in his mind before making the deal?

We'll see what happens later today.......

Laurie said...

Michele played dumb? Gosh, that must have been a stretch for her!

I wonder if Ollie has stretched the truth of the deal a bit?

If Ollie and Michele think Monica is coming into the house, it will be gospel truth by the end of the day.

Terry in CA called at 6:45 the morning to find out who HOH was. I was just booting up the computer to find out for myself. She was glad to hear it was Dan and we both thought Ollie and Jerry would go up. I still hope we are right.

Still thinking about scenarios for Dan (like Michelle and Ollie?). If his Judas comment means he's going back on his deal with Ollie, he could get almost any promise from Jerry and then put up Ollie and Michelle. He wins loyalty from Memphis, Reny, Jerry, and Keesha and looses Ollie, April and Michelle's jury votes if he goes to the final 2 (he probably wouldn't get them regardless).

I hope Nana is right and Dan really did think it through when he made the deal.

If Dan is giving Ollie the right to nominate, etc... why did't he just drop and give him HOH...was he just wanting to get the goodies?

Hopefully, he didn't make all the deals that have been said that he made.

We can only hope that he will wise up and be the HOH...and do what he wants, rather than what Ollie wants. Why have an HOH if they are going to let all the others tell them what to do.

IMHO,Renny is the only one that has been HOH and truly acted as HOH.

After all this is a game of lies, deceptions, and betrayals.

Anonymous said...

I think it might work out well for Dan if Ollie is safe. Because if Dan turns on Ollie, he could lose 3-4 votes in Jury House: Ollie, April, probably Libra, and Michelle is Michelle is evicted before Final 2.

Keesha has the best position in the house right now as she has Dan, Memphis, Renny believing she is their closest ally.

I am betting Dan puts up Jerry and Memphis or Jerry and Renny knowing the votes are there for Jerry to go and the other to stay.

In this case, the pawn could be truly safe.

why would dan protect keesha over memphis??..I think thats very odd because I think Dan could win over memphis in the end..I dont think dan could win over keesha.
Another thing, Keesha is VERY protected in this game..Dan, Renny, Jerry(maybe depends on what day it is) and Memphis have all tried at one time or the other to keep keesha safe.
If she plays her cards right, she will be in the final two.
And I do believe Keesha was jelouse of April, and Angie and thats why she wanted them gone. She wants to be the girl the guys want around..watch out Michelle!

Dan swore a pact with Memphis and I think he'll stay true to that. He's much more aligned with him than with Ollie. I can't see him doing anything to jeopardize Memphis in the game. It would also be very smart to keep Memphis to the final 2 because I think he'd get the votes over Memphis.

Anonymous said...

Dan's a pretty clever guy and I suspect he has a plan--wish he'd tell us what it is! I wonder if he'll nominate Jerry (target) and Renny (pawn). He could explain nominating Renny: she toyed with putting him up as a pawn last week, said she'd consider him a traitor if he used POV, wouldn't tell him which replacement nominee she'd put up, and she wouldn't let him use the HOH bathroom. But then, there's the POV to consider....

They are killing me with all this talk about jackets and gloves... Does everyone remember back in the "good old days" when Janelle and crew were ready for anything in their comps with sweatshirts, gloves in their pockets, and anything else that may make them more comfortable? It is not a conspiracy. I call it being prepared and playing smart. :)

Anonymous said...

I guess these HG's were never in the Boy Scouts!

RBennie said...

I'm wondering, was there any reciprocity in this deal between Dan and Ollie. Did Ollie maybe promise not to put Dan up next week if he got HOH or something like that. I would like to think Dan at least got something out of the deal - other than HOH of course.

RBennie said...

I'm glad at least one person agrees with me about Keesha's jealousy issues. I thought it was really obvious last night.

Anonymous said...

I didn't take Keesha's comments as jealousy, it's more of a complete and total loathing for April. Because of how she feels about April, EVERYTHING April does is a negative.

I say this because I have someone in my life that I absolutely CANNOT stand and no matter what he does, I find fault with it. Even when he tries to do something nice, I'm looking for ulterior motives.

In my eyes, that's how I saw Keesha's comments.

Anonymous said...

hey!!!..I was right everybody..in my last post I said "watch out Michelle"..well right now Keesha is talking to Dan about back dooring Michelle and Dan is going along with it..wow!!..Im not usually right about things so this is wierd!
-Jamie Mae-

RBennie said...

Yeah, it looks like Dan is leaning towards putting up Memphis/Michelle but he's having a hard time getting Renny to agree not to vote out Memphis. Good for you Renny. If Memphis winds up on the block, then this is the time to take him out. IMO he really has not played much of a game and has just kind of coasted behind other people. He would be no big loss.

Anonymous said...

I believe it will be Memphis and Jerry on the block with Michelle as the back door. I really think he needs to be "J*das" and just nominate Ollie and Michelle...Dan and two other people play POV so if anyone wins besides O/Mi they wouldn't use it...
PUT UP O/MI!!!!!

RBennie said...

I really wouldn't like to see Dan renege on his deal like that Cha Cha. IMO that would make him no better than the rest of them, and then who could I root for. If one of the people we don't like made that deal and then went back on it, we would be crying foul, so same standards should apply to Dan. He was foolish enough to make the deal, now deal with it.

Hi Everyone! I'm back! Had a great visit with family.

I don't think most of these people have ever watched BB. Dan was just smart to bring items he may need in the competitions such as the rain coat. That's simply good game play to plan ahead... be prepared! He did look like he had socks on his hands, and not gloves, but that was a smart move on his part as well.

I have never seen so many clueless players in a BB game. Even those who say they've watched BB previously aren't prepared for some of these competitions.

Dumb!

Can't wait to see what Dan does with the nominations. He can appease Ollie and still put up who he wants. Jerry and Renny would be a good combination as Jerry would go home. And if they could win the POV and take Renny off, Dan never said he wouldn't back door Michelle, he just said he wouldn't nominate her. As much as I don't like Jerry, I can stand him around much more than Michelle. She's bugs me.

Later!

BACK DOOR MICHELLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rbennie - If Dan goes back on his deal with Ollie how is that any different from him going back on his F2 promise with Memphis. If he puts Memphis up, he's being a Judas to him. They swore in the backyard to go to the F2. Remember their lame name, the "Renegades"?

RBennie said...

Good point Orkmommy, but he doesn't have to put Memphis up. He has other people to choose from. I think he wants to put him up and is just trying to figure out how not to take the heat for it.

Welcome back MEB, missed ya!

Anonymous said...

So, if Keesha made her goodbye comments to April out of jealousy, does this mean Renny is jealous of her too?

April, I was so tired of you prancing around this house like a drama queen, you won the cash, the clothes, suck it up chick your good at closing deals. However this is one gamer you could not close RENNY, Good for one this game is closed for you!

This is straight from her HOH blog.

Anonymous said...

1) I think Dan really does have a crush on Keesha, and genuinely likes her. I hope they are the F2.

2) I watched the BBAD part just before Ollie dropped, but I couldn't hear what they were saying. I just heard Dan say "Done" and yes, I believe his legs were crossed at the ankles for most of that time (but I don't think he'll use that). It did not appear that there was any talk about what Ollie would offer Dan if Dan dropped. I think Dan ultimately would have had the stamina even if no deal were cut. So to Dan, the deal had to be icing for him, like getting Ollie to take heat for something, such as putting Memphis up. Dan was in no trouble hanging up there, but Ollie was.

3) I was actually touched when Jerry attended to Memphis when he dropped.

4) Michelle cannot be backdoored because the deal seems to be (at least) that Ollie gets to pick the replacement nom if the POV is used

5) I do believe Dan will not put up Keesha -- but what if Ollie wants to? What then?

6) I'm thinking the Judas comment had to do with Memphis. I think Dan is hoping that Ollie will take Memphis out for him.

But then, I haven't watched any feeds since late last night when Ollie and Michelle were embroiled in their bizarre conspiracy theories about Monica and raincoats.

RBennie said...

I don't know, Renny's comment re April does not seem to have the same whiney, petty tone that Keesha's comments did. Renny's just sounds like she means "you played hard, but I played harder and got you out".

Formerly Anon - that's what I think too, Dan wants Memphis gone. If he really wants F2 with him then why would he even be considering putting him up?

Anonymous said...

From Keesha's HOH blog...

April is by far the most similar to myself and at first it was hard to deal with that but as time goes by we have become very close and I have learned a lot about myself by having this friendship with her.

My, how things can change in a matter of weeks!

Susan in MA said...

Wow, it seems Dan may be a Judas. It looks like he's totally flipped on Memphis & Keesha.

RBennie said...

LOL, she must have written that on one of their rare good days.

Anonymous said...

I think if we had heard Renny verbalize what she said in her HOH blog, we would have heard the same whiny tone we heard from Keesha.

Dan promised F2 to Memphis. If he breaks that this week, then he's no better than the rest of them!

Anonymous said...

What's wrong with this sentence?

While April has the name of the month I was born, her and Ollie have seem to become a pair.

If you guessed that came from Jessie's HOH blog, you would be right. The whole thing is full of him saying things the wrong way and looking like the idiot he really is!

PlaidChick said...

I can't believe none of these peopole have watched BB before... case and point final 3 last summer, with the rain pouring, and Dick had a hoodie on right? Dan applied for the show before.

-----
I still can't figure out what the deal is, but you know it sounds like a dual HOH which is silly. And thinking back, Dan could of gone much longer than Ollie, he recovered faster than any of them when he came off. Sure fine, he saved Ollie for an extra 20 minutes on Thursday, because the next HOH will be question related and the POV will be fast paced and something that someone will win out of dumb luck.

I don't recall anyone saying, you CANNOT backdoor so and so, but I guess that's the same as you can't use the veto and replace so and so.

What a mess.

Well folks, just watched April on Housecalls and it must be nice to live in her nice little world where everything she did and does is "good" and everyone else can't be trusted and turns on her. One word: Delusional!

RBennie said...

Did you expect anything else Sasha?

Sasha said...

LOL, RBennie, I didn't and still it amazes me. I must be jealous. ;)

Sorry for stating the all too obvious.

At least it gave me a break from the stress of trying to understand the deal that was made and what it really means. Apparently I'm not the only one because Ollie keeps talking to Dan about what was really said...just to "be on the same page" of course. And now Ollie and Michelle were conspiring to get Dan to agree to more if they promise not to put him up. I can't wait for nominations to see what's real and what's not.

dla said...

Sacha, I watched Housecalls, as well, and I was literally laughing out loud by the end of it!! :)

I found it especially amusing that April thinks that "America" is so intrigued with her "RO"mance with Ollie that we would want to "follow them" after the show...

WTF? Are you kidding me?

I was so hoping that Gretchen was going to nail her at the end during the numbers game with something like "Do you know exactly how many times you and Ollie had sex on the live feeds??" lol

Laurie said...

Sasha, what's real and what's not depends on who is saying it, don't you think? Ollie and Michele need to go and they need to go on Thursday. I wonder if they will hook up this week. That would be so funny. You know the cameras don't show it if you don't talk about it. Seriously. That's real. Just ask Ollie, or, as he will be called this week, Ali. Ay-yi-yi!!

formerly anom..I agree with you about Dan having his eye on Keesha!!..last night I saw him wink at her as if to say.."Your safe dont worry about it"..and just little things he does around her almost flirty like! ..wouldnt that be a weird couple..Dan and Keesha..LOL
-Jamie Mae-

Anonymous said...

My understanding from Dan was that the deal was this:
*Ollie could pick 1 nom.
*Michelle was safe
*If POV is used Ollie chooses the replacement
*Keesha would not be put up

Ollie thought he was picking both noms. and seemed surprise when Dan told him different.

I know it's a game of lie, cheat and deceive but in my "Pollyanna" world I hope Dan doesn't go back on his word to Ollie.

If Dan can't get Renny to agree to not vote for Memphis then put her up and use that as the reason!
I think it's a given Jerry will be up and everyone in the house play for POV except 1 person. If Jerry/Renny won POV then put up Memphis and try to convince Ollie/Michelle to keep him(I think Mich. would because she really doesn't like Jerry).

Anonymous said...

I knew I forgot something....the Monica conspiracy.....I bet she was at the auditions in LA(which is where Ollie said he saw her) as an alternate. Dan has commented about him being flown to LA in the past(as an alternate) and then not getting on the show. The interview with a producer said Dan has tried out for the last 4 seasons. Could you imagine him in the house this past season or the one with ED...;o
He would have been eaten alive!!!!

Dan didn't bring gloves with him; he was just smart enough to make a pair out of socks when he saw the vines! And Ollie's gloves were the ones April had brought and gave him before she left.

Noms. should be happening in the next few hours.

Anonymous said...

Uh...Dan told me he wouldn't put me up either. @@

Gretchen didn't nail her for anything? I can't believe that! Who was the guest host?

I've only watched House Calls a few times but each time it was with a not so favorite HG and Gretchen always nailed them. Is she getting soft on us?

Gretchen ... nice use of the word NAILED ... bwahahahahahahaha!

Ok--so I was reading Joker's trying to figure this all out.......Miss Scarlett killed him in the library with the candlestick!!! LOL

I'm confused, have a headache and need a nap :(

Wake me when it's over....

Sasha said...

OMG, Laurie, dla, you're cracking me up here. Yes, April truly thinks that it will be "hilarious" to watch the progress of the April/Ollie relationship out of the house. Ugh.

I was talking to Gretchen (my computer screen has two way communication in my world) and telling her to call April the liar that she is!! So sad that once sequester starts, G is very restricted in what she can say to the HG's.

There is no longer a guest host on post eviction Fridays. Used to be ED but he can't be trusted with HG's who are heading to sequester. It's just Gretchen and they screen all the questions ahead of time and G reads them to the HG. It was SO hard to watch April all fakeness and "clarifying" her lies.

dla said...

orkmommy, I was shocked. Gretchen did not go after her for anything. She let April go on and on in her own little perfect-April world, and did not once call her out.

I have never watched it "live" before today, but I have watched the episodes on cbs.com, and it appears that Gretchen is doing the Friday shows on her own now that the evicted HG's are going to sequester. She was by herself with Libra last Friday.

If you have not yet seen it, I would highly recommend watching Gretchen, Evel, and Jessie... That was classic. :)

Anonymous said...

O.K. I have to admit I was not on the Dan bandwagon, but now I am. He is smart. No, I do not think he wants Memphis out he just wants to see if he can trust him. Same goes for all of them. Actions speak louder than words and Dan has made them all uncomfortable. to see how they act and to see if they turn.

Remmy better watch out or she will be up.

Susan in MA said...

So Dan IS putting Memphis up, WITH Memphis' knowledge; he's trying to keep the F2 alliance a secret. I wonder if it will backfire.

PlaidChick said...

It's making sense to me. Dan *did* get Renny to say in an HOH meeting that she would NOT VTE Memphis. Now who's sitting there next to him would be Jerry. It was a very clever conversation between Dan, Keesha and Renny. He's told them, he wants them as F3, but needs to hold onto Memphis until final 5 or 4 because they need the numbers.

Now if the POV is used, I have no idea what they're going to do.

Read what happens on www.bbdish.blogspot.com and scroll down to: Friday Morning in the BB10House

***Ollie is telling Jerry the details of the deal*** major no-no and if I were Dan, and I knew what he just did, I would call him up to HOH and say you just blew it, all deals are OFF, and would call him out on it at the nomination ceremony... Dan get out of the HOH room!!

PlaidChick said...

I didn't read far enough-- Dan knows.. Ollie is busted, let's see what he does with the info...

Anonymous said...

Oh my god. Dan should just put up Ollie and Jerry and then deal from there. What the hell is wrong with these houseguest. They are retarded. Is Ollie insane? I find it hard to believe Dan would allow Ollie to make either of the nominations and Ollie is certainly not go to decide on a replacement nominee either.

Dan, please just get rid of Ollie. That is his best chance of surviving this week's double eviction imo.
Nina

Anonymous said...

Okay, I just scrolled through all of the comments.

I certainly cannot respect an HOH who allows another player to choose the nominees or replacement nominee. What kind of insanity is that. I mean who's the HOH?

If Dan does not get rid of that total HOH hog Ollie, Dan is out of his mind. It's not going back on your deal if the loser in the comp gets all power hungry. Dan also can't put Memphis up outright b/c that's disloyal; the best way to get rid of Memphis is to backdoor him. If Memphis and Rennie go up together or Memphis and Jerry, I think I might just lose all respect for Dan and root for Keesha.

Like Jamie Mae said, at least Keesha manipulates others when she wants to get rid of someone for personal reasons (jealousy); she does what she needs to do to get what she wants which is Michelle right now.

I have been thinking for a days now that Mr.Dan has a bit of a cruch on Keesha.

Also, I agree with whoever said that Dan should call the deal off because Ollie has opened his mouth.
I would nail him on that so fast.

Just have to share it!

I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'computering',
And I had to answer 'yes.'

He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.

I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my work..
I didn't mean to 'click.'

But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site.
That I got SO way into.
I was into it all night.(sigh)

Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's so very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess...
While I sit here on my hiney.

what if he puts up Jerry and Renny -- Jerry would go. He still preserves his deal with Memphis, does not put up Keesha, honors Ollie and Michelle's deal. The only one he would piss off would be Renny, and maybe her wrath is worse than all of them. But that is assuming no POV would change things.

I can't figure out if Dan is really in trouble or if he's feigning it. He's clever and sneaky.

He says that Ollie has been "sandbagging" the comps up til now -- and he'd know, because he's been doing the same thing.

Memphis and Jerry are on the block. Memphis is pissed, of course.

Dan's (apparent) plan is to get Michelle to let her guard down so that if she's playing in the POV (and especially if there are luxury items) that she'll take those and not worry about POV. Seems that Dan is planning to betray Ollie at the POV level, by putting Michelle up. He had to get Renny to agree that if it were Memphis vs. Michelle that Renny would vote Michelle out. No wonder Memphis is concerned!! That's a HUGE HUGE risk -- Dan should realize that Renny might say whatever, but her actions will ultimately be based on her own interest -- and she desperately wants to vote Memphis out! But... Dan is using his coaching skills and *seems* to have convinced Renny that it's in her best interest to keep Memphis in -- she either really agrees with it, or is stringing Dan along and pretending that she sees it.

I hope Ollie gets a big blindside soon, I cannot stand his arrogance, completely unwarranted.

Anonymous said...

Trying to get inside Dan's head. If his plan works, then Michelle goes home this week. Although, if his plan works, and if he's going to reneg on his deal with Ollie, then I don't see why he wouldn't just put Ollie up and vote him up this week? Maybe that is his secret plan that he dare not breathe to anyone? That way, if Ollie manages to win POV, he still has the Michelle option.

I'm tending to believe that Dan is most loyal to Keesha. He's aware that Monica is watching, and perhaps he believes (rightly) that his woman would rather see him as a "hos before bros" (even if it's not his ho, she's a surrogate ho) or am I giving him too much credit?

Anonymous said...

Yeah, I think Dan is playing Ollie and Michelle. They're easy pickens for the likes of Dan.

So what about the POV:

Ollie = takes Jerry down (thinking he gets to pick the replacement nom), Dan puts up Michelle

Michelle - doesn't use it, or uses it to take Memphis down, and Dan puts up Ollie

Jerry - takes himself down, Dan puts up M/O

Keesha - doesn't use it, or takes Memphis down, Dan puts up M/O

Memphis - takes himself down, Dan puts up M/O

Renny - doesn't use it
Dan - doesn't use it

So can Dan get away with it?

So let's say Michelle/Ollie goes home this week. Immediate HOH comp, who would nom who:

(M/O = either Michelle or Ollie, whichever is left)

Memphis - M/O + Jerry
M/O - Dan + ?
Renny = M/O + Memphis?
Keesha = M/O + Jerry
Jerry = Dan + Memphis

Looks to me like, if I'm thinking the same way as Dan, he has thought this out pretty well, and it is the best risk:reward scenario for him and his bunch

Anonymous said...

Ollie thinks he's so smart. He's telling Michelle that their plan is to win POV and take Jerry down (I wonder if Michelle would do that? didn't she promise her precious Jessie that she'd stand by Memphis?) and put up Renny.

Ollie just said words that he'll regret: "I'm glad I didn't win HOH" (HAHAHAH)

Ollie is gunning for Memphis. I wonder if he knows about Michells alliance with Memphis?
