BB10 - Latest Live Feeds

My latest live feeds post is up over on TV Squad. It's a few hours behind, but it's not missing much. The only other thing of interest is that Michelle told Dan about how nice the jury house is -- pool, tennis court. And she also told him that they got gift baskets. At least this is what Dan is telling Memphis.

Have a great trip Nana! From the sounds of it, you'll need the vacation just to rest up from getting ready!

Why do little boys seem to always feel the need to break things? If I was BB I would let them die of boredom rather than give them anything else to destroy

lars eller,

Jackie - the myspace person is at it again! They used your TV Squad you posted last night in a blog they posted this morning.

Jackie S. said...

Is the site crediting my work at all with a link or acting like they wrote it?

Laurie said...

Jackie and Zoetawny, I join those who are outraged on your behalf for having your talents brazenly stolen by pond scum.

Nana, have a great time. I hear Montana is gorgeous!

Judi, we enjoyed your posts and hope you stay with us.

Lars, you are never really alone.

Everyone, have a good Sunday and be thankful for life!

Is anyone else disappointed with the finale show. Meaning how it ends with a rush to the winner and not enough real chat and after chat with the winner? It just abruptly comes to an end and real quick ...... O V E R. There is so much time wasted it seems on the last week of nothing with very few people in the house, that they could do something to make the end roudn up more with the sequester house and build up to the finale? Sort of a more of a wrap up??? Have a show that shows that wrap party why not????

Anon 11:26 - She posted it - the plagiarist

Since I wrote to the person, Zoetawny's art is off the front page and my words stolen from TV Squad have been replaced in the box on the front page with a mention of Ike. But it looks like I'll have to notify MySpace and let TV Squad know. They have lawyers.

For want of nothing else to write about as to BB, thought I'd drop these in for a laugh.

TOP MORONS OF 2008 so far

1. WILL THE REAL DUMMY PLEASE STAND UP?
AT&T fired President John Walter after nine months, saying he lacked intellectual leadership. He received a $26 million severance package.
Who's lacking intelligence?

2. WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FRIENDS:
Police in Oakland, California, spent two hours attempting to subdue a gunman who had barricaded himself inside his home. After firing ten tear gas canisters, officers discovered that the man was standing beside them in the police line, shouting, 'Please come out and give your self up.'

3. WHAT WAS PLAN B?
An Illinois man, pretending to have a gun, kidnapped a motorist and forced him to drive to two different automated teller machines, wherein the kidnapper proceeded to withdraw money from his own bank accounts

4. THE GETAWAY!
A man walked into a Topeka , Kansas, Kwik Stop and asked for all the money in the cash drawer. Apparently, the take was too small, so he tied up the store clerk and worked the counter himself for three hours until police showed up and grabbed him.

5. DID I SAY THAT?
Police in Los Angeles had good luck with a robbery suspect who just couldn't control himself during a lineup. When detectives asked each man in the lineup to repeat the words: 'Give me all your money or I'll shoot,' The man shouted, 'That's not what I said!'

6. ARE WE COMMUNICATING?
A man spoke frantically into the phone, 'My wife is pregnant and her contractions are only two minutes apart.'

'Is this her first child?' the doctor asked.

'No,' the man shouted, 'this is her husband!'

7. NOT THE SHARPEST TOOL IN THE SHED!
In Modesto, California, Steven Richard King was arrested for trying to hold up a Bank of America branch without a weapon. King used a thumb and a finger to simulate a gun Unfortunately, he failed tokeep his hand in his pocket.

8. THE GRAND FINALE!!!
Last summer, down on Lake Isabella, located in the high desert an hour east of Bakersfield, CA, somefolks, new to boating, were having a problem. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't get their brand new 22 foot boat going. It was very sluggish in almost every maneuver, no matter how much power they applied. After about an hour of trying to make it go, they putted into a nearby marina, thinking someone there may be able to tell them what was wrong. A thorough topside check revealed everything in perfect working condition. The engine ran fine, the out-drive went up and down, and the propeller was the correct size and pitch. So, one of the marina guys jumped in the water to check underneath. He came up choking on water, he was laughing so hard.

NOWREMEMBER...THIS IS TRUE

Under the boat, still strapped securely in place, was the trailer!

Wow! Can people really be that dum..but then I think of Natalie!!!

I hope this is okay to post. I think it's funny and non-partisan ...
Last night's SNL opening was Palin and Clinton. I apologize in advance if anyone is offended but I think we all have our sense of humor well intact.

Thank you Laurie, I am glad you liked it, because I did, too! I still miss That Was the Week That Was...where they made fun of both sides and we could all enjoy the laugh.

I am watching my home team (Chiefs) lose...again. I should be used to it, but I'm not.
Lars - I don't get why you're down?
GO DAN!

Laurie, I saw the SNL skit and thought it was hysterical. I've said "uncle" to political shows (which happens when a campaign seems to have been going on since the LAST election) but I laughed at this skit.

MEB -- thank you for the morons list...I feel like Einstein after reading it! I liked the boating story the best. :)
LOL

Laurie said...

Oh Sue, TWTWTW was so funny. I loved that show and it's good to know someone else remembers it. David Frost and his gang were hilarious!

Petals, I'm sorry the Chiefs are losing. My Chargers play this afternoon and I'm hoping they remember the game is a full 60 minutes of playing and paying attention. Last week they lost in the final 2 seconds.

meb, so glad I'm not a moron. Too bad those people reproduce!

jackie, still enraged at someone ripping off your talents like that.

Meb...thank you so much for the Oh I Am Stupid bits. I love reading those when I find them.

Laurie...I am a Bronco fan, we will see the outcome. Lived in CO a total of 12 years between ex's 2military tours. Hence the Bronco fan.

Meb, most likely, I will be back for the finale.

SNL's political skits have always been my favorites. All the presidents over the years starting with Chevy Chase's Gerald Ford and all the falls and goofy spills. I can still see him trying to put the star on top of the Christmas tree. :-) Dana Carvey as Ross Perot and Bush also. lol

Tina Fey was spooky as Palin. Dead ringer looks wise and sooooo funny. I loved it Laurie. Thanks for the link.

I went to the copycat's site last night and was shocked to see Zoetawny's Renny there. I couldn't read the blog because I'm not a myspace user. Its changed today. I hope the person feels ashamed of themselves. Imitation is flattery, but plagairism is theft.

I still love people who are fans of other teams, although Raider fans are a challenge. *smile*

My other team is the Packers. I grew up as a Rams fan since I lived in LA. Not so much since the moved, though.

So glad the link to the SNL clip was well received. Tina Fey was spot on, wasn't she? She was born to play that part and I'm glad she returned to SNL to entertain us.

We got wind and rain, much less than what was predicted for D/FW because the storm took a turn for to the east.

I was floored how badly downtown Houston looked. It makes sense with horrible winds blowing and then winds are like a vaccum between skyscrapers.

I saw Geraldo from FOX desperately wanting that "unbelievable shot" during the first part of the storm, and was awake when the winds calmed down, but fell asleep when the second part came through. Can I just say I can't believe he was right there on the sea wall, and what an idiot?

Back to BB

Like the rest of you, I don't know why they're dragging this out, and I still vote for a "reunion" hour with Chen-bot moderating where no questions are off limits. The jury has made up their mind. Ollie and April will totally vote as a block, and I'll be shocked if Dan doesn't win it. The only way I see Dan losing is if they revealed he was AP for a week before the vote.

Good- Afternoon,

Boy the last 2 weeks have been a wild ride..

I haven't kept up with BB, I'll watch a bit later.. I overslept this afternoon but I'm glad I woke up with 73 laps to go in Nascar..I'm headed out the door hopefully for a early celebration. I pray all is well in Texas as I pray all goes well in N. H.

Jackie & Syd- Thanks

Plus Thanks to all you guys

Happy B-day Jackie for a special date tomorrow..

I was thinking the same thing. The last few days in the BB house are such a waste. It seems like cbs is dragging out the finale date but that could be due to a need to fill the time slots.

Jackie...

Sorry you have to deal with unscrupulous people stealing your work. I'm not going to get too upset about my graphics since it's just a fun thing for me. But, stealing your words is almost like identity theft and very personal. I'm sure TV Squad will address the issue with MySpace. I hope this person is just a kid and may not know the "rules" on the Internet. I'm a little puzzled as to the person who alerted you. I don't recall seeing her posting on this blog but then I miss a lot since I don't have much online time. Apparently she must be a "friend" of the MySpace person in order to have read your words. Were you able to read it to verify if she did plagiarize your work? I suppose this type of thing happens on the net more than we realize. Thanks for taking your precious time to address the issue.

Later~

Hey plaidchick, good to hear from you. Geraldo is an idiot as is anyone who goes out like that. We don't need humans out there to see how the wind is blowing! Geesh!

Anonymous said...

I called out to my husband to hurry and come watch a comedy team playing on the beach during Ike. Idiots...that was exactly the word we used, too. It was hard to take them seriously (in a very serious event) when they were trying to hold that wind gauge up. Hey guys, they have fence posts that can do that. Then the camera man missed the money shot when G fell. Really, it looked like two clowns playing around instead of journalists covering a life threatening storm.

Jackie,
I was upset to hear that someone stole zoetwany's and your creativity.

Would it be feasible/cost effective for you to copyright your written words?

I can't speak for anyone other than myself but if you changed your blog to a webpage for paying members only I would gladly pay to be a part of your community.

I have wondered in the past how people get by with showing somethings including scenes from BB10 on Youtube. Certainly some of the things that I have personally enjoyed from Youtube must have been copywrited ( Copywritten?)

I hope MySpace will inform the person who used things from this blog and tvsquad that they can't continue to do that. I hope that they used your words and Zoetwany's graphics out of admiration and ignorance not for personal gain.

Laurie's Chargers are still on the field, so BB will definitely be late. Are you watching, Laurie? This is quite a game!

Laurie said...

Clementine, I'm watching and I'm hoarse from screaming. Bad, bad calls in today's game. I need another virtual margarita. Nah, make it a shooter!

Petals said...

Laurie - your Chargers are giving a great show! Awesome game - I envy you having a team you can enjoy watching. hehe

To nana in the nw...so good that the very first comment is about the safety of syd and Jennasmom. Hope everyone else is OK too and ready for the show tonight. Go Dan!

Laurie said...

delee, it was an exciting finish. We did get the short end of some calls, but that's football. I'm sad right now but I'll recover. The good news is my fantasy team is winning by a lot!

Unknown said...

Oh, no, not again ladies! I'm still recovering from last Thursday's "refreshments." I awoke with the imprint of a cow-hide bean bag chair on my cheek and an empty banana peel clutched in my hand. I didn't embarrass myself, did I?

I thought the daquiris were "virgin", I swear! lol

Zoetawny - After the MySpace person read my email to her, she removed the image of yours and my own words from the initial page I could see. You don't necessarily have to be a friend to be a friend on MySpace and, most likely, it wasn't always friends only. But I surely saw enough to verify that YOUR image of Renny (the hippie one) and MY words were on the initial page. As for the person reporting it, this blog has many lurkers -- she just might have thought it was time someone let me know and I appreciate it.

Lynn1 -- My posts on this blog ARE copyrighted. I wouldn't want to charge anything for this blog. This community on the whole is too special to make those sort of changes.

lynn1 said...

Jackie,
I am glad you aren't interested in making this a paid membership blog. I agree with you that your blog is very special. I feel I have made friends here.
I guess I was just so upset that someone stole your work that I was in my righteous indignation mode when I posted.
I get very protective in an impetous way when someone I care about is wronged.
My hubby tells me I become a protective Momma Bear when anyone tries to mess with my people!
Whether you want to be or not I claim you and all the your bloggers as my people.

Laurie said...

Lynn, we are your people and we are a bunch of mama bears!
