Big Brother 12 - Live Feeds, POV, Saturday, July 17

Monet has more reason to worry this week -- Britney won Power of Veto. No, I'm not kidding. Mean Blonde Gal did it.

Here's how the day went down in the Wonderful World of Habitrail:
  • BB woke them up very early. I'm talking before 8 AM their time. Maybe they'll eventually learn to go to bed earlier.
  • Kathy thinks Monet is giving her the cold shoulder and might be upset that she (Kathy) isn't a Have Not while she is.
  • Gee, Kathy is talking more to Rachel this week. What a shock. I wanted so much for Kathy to be a good player. But she's horrible in comps and a true floater, following the power. She generally gets along with everyone. But instead of Olivia Benson we have Barney Fife.
  • Britney, playing cards of her own, cried to Kathy. She said someone (Monet) is throwing her under the bus.
  • After the pick for POV, Monet claimed she was going to go after Kathy.
  • Britney said she didn't want to campaign against Monet, but her back's up against the wall.
  • Matt and Kristen commented on how it's four days of nothing, then boom-boom with challenges.
  • Tell me about it.
  • The POV comp was blocked to the feeds (of course). Ragan was the host while Brendon, Enzo and Lane played.
  • Then Britney won it.
  • Argh.
  • Rachel actually tried to talk Britney into not using it.
  • Mind you, Britney is mean ... not stupid.
  • Rachel really doesn't want to nominate anyone else. She's a bimbo with an annoying laugh who latched onto a guy right away, but she seems to be sensitive.
  • Sensitive isn't a good quality for a BB hamster.
  • They want to put a pawn up, but not one that would vote to evict Monet as they don't want to lose a vote.
  • They're thinking of Lane as the pawn.
  • They want to get a deal with Matt not to put them up if they don't use him (Matt) as a pawn. They think he's sneaky.
  • They're right.
  • They, but of course, are Brendon and Rachel.
  • But you knew that.
  • When Rachel talked to Lane, she told him he was safe. He told her he planned to vote out Monet.
  • Britney went to Rachel to tell her Andrew should go up.
  • That would probably split the vote because Andrew isn't too good with his people skills.
  • Maybe that's why he's a foot doctor. He doesn't need to make a lot of eye contact or interact with as many situations which call for a good bedside manner.
  • Hayden of the quieter showmance with Kristen says that the Brendon/Rachel showmance is disgusting.
  • Monet is also pushing an Andrew nomination. She seems to realize that he might be the only one she might be able to beat.
  • Rachel is worried that the girls will be taking one after the other girl out.
  • Didn't I say that before?
  • Rachel and Brendon talked about a "big move" in the game, but I'm not certain what's going on.
  • Right now I'm not even sure who she'll put up. Maybe Lane as a pawn, then go for the backdoor? I don't know.

Still trying to figure out what the POV comp must have been!

Loved this, But instead of Olivia Benson we have Barney Fife.Britney, playing cards of her own, cried to Kathy. So glad you write this up for all of us. As we've said before, you make this show interesting for us. Thanks!

Ironic that the gal who put two other gals on the chopping block is worried they might get rid of the gals. Hmmmmmm... ya think?

When did Kristen and Rachel become such good buddies anyway? Kristen and Rachel are in HOH brainstorming every scenario.

Can anyone tell me whether Kristen and Hayden are playing R&B or if they truly are in a foursome?

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

I wish they would settle on someone and just stick with it! This waffling is driving me bonkers! Right now Kristen and Kathy are up in HOH with Rachel. They seem to know that Matt is the correct choice, but they keep veering dangerously off course and considering Andrew or someone else.

Ugh. Hamsters! Pick a lane and stay in it!

PS: I reaffirm my belief that K&H are twins.

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

The three wimmen in the HOH are now talking about how they believe that Britney and Monet are the life long friends.

I hope by now it's apparent that Kathy and Britney are NOT related in any way. The things Britney has said about Kathy, omg, no way they are relatives. But, I think BB purposely put two blondes from Arkansas so that when the Sab announced that the life-long friends were "so obvious" they would be the obvious suspects.

But in fact it's K&H, which to me is obvious.

I thought the lifelong friend thing was attached to the saboteur and apparently untrue. Did I misunderstand?

(Why does stoopid blogger MAKE you re-sign in anytime you leave?)

joyn said...

JimmyB, good question. Blogger's been doing it to me for over a week. I finally gave up and started using Name/URL. It's easier and less frustrating.

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

OMG, R&B are going to get Matt and Ragan up to the HOH to see if Matt is FOR SURE voting to evict Monet, because they want to use Andrew as a pawn.

If Matt convinces them it's game over for R&B.

Holy cow I hope they're not this stupid.

JimmyB said...

joyn--It's been a problem for some time for me. It used to leave you signed-in even from day to day without having to re-sign. :(

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

OMG, I can't believe what I'm seeing. Matt is telling R&B (and Ragan) that if they put Andrew up, there's a chance Andrew will go home! Matt is almost volunteering to go up as a pawn!!!

RBennie said...

Wow - Britney actually won POV. I guess I should be happy since she's my pool pick, but I can't seem to work up much enthusiasm. I'm with you Laurie, I can't wait to see what the comp was. I really want a boy to go home, don't much care which one.

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

O.M.G.

We're in topsy turvy world now. Rachel is campaigning against putting up Matt as a pawn. Matt is campaigning for putting up Matt as a pawn.

I think it will work out, but still.

joyn said...

JimmyB, it may have been longer than a week, but the same results. I've been commenting here for years and suddenly, they're (Google?) making it difficult. Drives me crazy.

Sounds like Matt, as a member of the brigade, is up to something. Brendon and Rachel don't seem to be thinking with their brains or they would have nom'd Hayden for putting THEM up.

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

LOL!

"That guy is an emotional clusterf*%&"

--Matt, speaking about Andrew

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

I just gained a bunch of respect for Matt. He literally talked his way onto the block.

Of course, it's only because he knows about The Brigade and that he can trust those guys' votes. But even so, it's clear Monet goes home.

Good move on Matt's part, imho. He has ingratiated himself to R&B with really no risk to himself.

Now Matt is telling it all to Lane.

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

Lane and Hayden were happy to hear what Matt told them; Enzo, not so much. It looks like Enzo is going to try to talk Matt out of going on the block. I think Enzo wants to keep Monet in the house.

Hopefully Andrew just convinced Rachel and Brendon that if he goes up, he goes home. Rachel is paranoid that Matt had ulterior motives for agreeing to go up, but she's wrong about what they are.

I'm with Laurie: the Olivia Benson/Barney Fife line made me chuckle aloud. It's a classic.

Too bad Britney won the POV, but that's the way it often goes in BB. At least it keeps the houseguests busy, revising plans and trying to work out various scenarios.

My wv is joyin. like they misspelled our joyn.

Poor Andrew. Rachel is determined to put him up and he's destined to go home if on the block. Stupidest HOH ever seeing as her original targets were Monet and Britney and she's going to take out Andrew, har targets' target.

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

Right now Matt is revealing his true motive to Ragan, and I can only hope that Ragan communicates this to R&B.

Matt does not want to pledge to vote Monet out over Andrew, so if he's on the block, he gets to abstain from voting.

If Ragan can only tell this to Rachel to stem her paranoia, then all will be well. But as it is, Rachel is working herself into a frenzy thinking Matt is setting her up somehow and she's about to sacrifice Andrew in the process.

meb said...

FA... I'm enjoying your play- by- play. Thanks.

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

Poor Brendon. He's weak and exhausted from being a have-not, and Rachel is wringing every last bit of energy from him with her incessant rethinking the strategy.

As of this moment (subject to change in the next few minutes) Rachel plans to thwart Matt's evil plan of putting himself on the block by instead putting Andrew up! That'll show 'em!

There's a slim chance that if she follows through and manages to surprise everybody with that move, that Matt will then have suspicion shone down upon him by those he had confided in that he was going on the block. Although in reality, the only ones he was telling (Hayden, Lane, Enzo) will just shrug it off and vote Andrew out.

Hopefully Ragan rides in to the rescue and explains Matt's ulterior motive to Rachel so she's not so paranoid.

If Andrew goes on the block, how would the votes go?

Brendon - Monet
Kathy - ?
Ragan - Monet
Matt - Andrew
Enzo - Andrew
Hayden - ? Monet
Kristen - Monet
Britney - ? Andrew? (lol, ok, yes)
Lane - Andrew

So Kathy is the swing vote and who knows if she'll be swayed back to Monet's side.

Andrew just showed up and agreed to be the sacrificial lamb, but he believes he'll be going home.

Wow, two volunteers for pawndom on the same day.

Um.. now Rachel tells Andrew she WON'T put him up! Why? Because he volunteered to be the pawn?

Now Rachel is PISSED at Brendon!! I missed something while typing. I think she didn't want Andrew to know what was going to happen, but Brendon told Andrew that he was going up. Then Rachel said NO! No, he's not.

I'm so confused.

I think Brendon is going downstairs.

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

Rachel is crying by herself in the HOH. Brendon walked out on her after she yelled at him for spilling the beans to Andrew.

All is not well in the BB house tonight.

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

Jeez, I swtiched feeds for five minutes to listen to Enzo and Matt, and now Brendon is back in the HOH in Rachel's arms!

So all IS well in the BB house tonight? (make up sex???)

Enzo is trying to convince Matt that Andrew should go on the block.

Laurie said...

FA, you must be exhausted from doing all this reporting. You're doing a great job!

By the way, who's on first?

FA (Formerly Anon) said...

Laurie, I know! It *is* exhausting! I get a reprieve at 9pm because I know it'll be on BBAD which I'd rather watch than the feeds because the feeds are just annoying.

I've been away from it for almost an hour, I bet the whole strategy has changed again in that time.

Nana from the NW said...

FA--I know what you mean about exhausting. I usually read Joker's Update several times a day. This year I vowed to just follow Jackie's and only go to that site if something exciting was going on. I found myself spending HOURS online and getting nothing done around the house! Besides hurting my eyes it hurt my brain! LOL

But I'm really glad you are giving up lots of updates.

I have a feeling before long R/B will burn out. She seems to needy and I don't think he likes being her "knight"

ML said...

O M G First time I ever tried Jokers site- unless Hayden and Kristin are willing to go the incest route to hide their relationship(not), they are definitely NOT RELATED! Jokers is reporting heavy petting between the two. Well I guess that settles that FA. I thought they might be related, too. Now it just appears they are both cheating on someone back home. Maybe Kristin wasn't really MIA earlier in the show-she was just under the covers with Hayden! So much for a gentler showmance. Does BB provide them with protection?
