That was the person I depended on for credible news. Sigh. Remember, although it's airing tonight, this was taped yesterday.

Acting like the show is live, Julie blindsides them with the news that there's an eviction tonight. Wah, wah. Vanessa doesn't mind targeting Johnny Mac, but cries all over Steve.
Johnny Mac tries to make a whacko deal with Austin/Liz that he'll throw the veto to them for safety. They're confused. They tell Vanessa.
PoV comp time. They all get to watch Life in Pieces. The comp is related to the show ... playground in the backyard, chances of winning in pieces, have to put together Life in Pieces puzzle. The board demagnetizes when they fall off the balance beam or take too long between hitting the buzzer.
Vanessa eliminated first. Johnny Mac wins veto!
Vanessa cries to us. Steve thinks he can talk Vanessa into keeping him and getting rid of either Austin or Liz.
PoV meeting -- Johnny Mac saves himself. Vanessa puts Austin on the block because "Liz was just on the block last week." Austin thinks he's safe, but has some worry about Vanessa. Johnny Mac leads Austin to believe he would vote out Steve.

Joe, I don't believe Steve is on the spectrum at all. I think he's just played an amazing game and is playing all of them. Seriously!

Joe, the word retarded is very derogatory. Aspberger is named after the man who documented the behavior. I do not like it on the Autism scale, but if you look at the spectrum, you have a low level where a child cannot learn. In this spectrum, you have children and adults who can learn and usually learn on a very high level, they just cannot interact socially, without difficulty. I do not call it retarded. I think it's a mean label. The word retarded has a very negative connotation because of how people have used it throughout the years.
I'd rather people use the work stupid because stupid is not always permanent. If you do not like Steve (he's not my favorite person), I don't care, but he's not retarded.
BTW, my daughter has been diagnosed with Aspbergers. She graduated Cum Laude from college. She is extremely smart, but her process of interacting with people stinks.
I understand everyone who wants to label players like Ian and Steve in those terms, but I never believed that Ian was on the spectrum and he isn't... I also don't believe that Steve is. Steve was awkward socially, but he didn't show me anything during the season to say that he is. I think everyone leaps to these conclusions without knowing much about that person at all. It's really sort of sad that anyone would label someone with any kind of diagnosis/term without knowing them, their life, their situation at all. Just my two cents.

Vanessa will do what she wants to do and I have a feeling that she will evict Liz. She should.
Well that's it I guess, Vanessa will vote out JM and the F3 will be V, S, and L. Sooo disappointed. I really wanted JM to win the game.
I think Vanessa will vote out JM for two reasons...she will think the easiest person to win against in F2 is Liz, and the easiest two people for her to win against in the final HOH is Steve and Liz. JM has won a lot of comps and Vanessa will not want to go against him in the final HOH.
I hope JM wins Fan Favorite.
Really no telling what Vanessa will do. I think she believes Johnny Mac is a bigger threat to her winning and she will probably vote to evict him. However, Liz already has 2 jury votes to win guaranteed and she has won a few HOH's and Johnny Mac hasn't and Vanessa seems to think that matters to the jury.
In regard to Steve - I think he's been a mama's boy his whole life (he sobbed live on air when he saw his mother's message) and he is from a very small town. I think he just hasn't developed any social skills. If anyone has .. issues, I think it might be Johnny M.
I agree with you Susan, I think Steve was just coddled way too much and not allowed to grow socially.
It is hard to tell for sure who Vanessa will vote out, JMac or Liz. She is doing her normal circular thought processes, bouncing back and forth about who she wants out and the reasons. You know she HAS to have a reason. I can't tell if she is lying to Steve about taking him to final 2 or not. I think she might be hedging her bets in case he wins final HoH.
Agree David. She's been loading all kinds of flattery on Steve... making him feel smart and important, all while they "both" weigh facts re: JMac and Liz. Although she's getting his rationale for who to vote out, she'll do her circles until she makes a final decision.
It's a slam dunk she votes out Jmac. Jmac is a bigger threat both physically and mentally than Liz. Liz won comps when a lot of people were throwing them. Jmac won them when everyone was trying.
If Vanessa keeps Liz I think it will be a mistake. Not only do I want her out but she has proven to be a little more competent in the mental challenges than JMac. 2 of the upcoming HoH challenges will be mental and one physical. Vanessa and Steve seem to be focusing on the physical thinking they will kill her in the mental. They have been really inconsistent this year about the challenges so they may change it up a little.
I think Liz could beat both Vanessa and Steve in a physical comp if she tried and she may be better at the guess what the other house guests think in the last one if that is what it is. They just had a previous HG comp with what the bleep did they say, they could change it up with a different type question and answer comp.
Austin sure did leave "classless" He thinks it is his "right" to stay in the game an the others should know this. One big BULLY he is.
