BB19: Live Feeds, Veto Meeting Monday - August 14

Kevin got his yard today

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Wayward Boys and Girls:
  • The big news, other than Kevin got his yard back, is that the veto meeting went down.
  • As expected, Matt saved Jason and Cody was put on the block in Jason's place.
  • So, the nominees this week are Elena, Cody and Matt as the third nominee from the Temptation Challenge.
  • Matt couldn't save himself. As the third nominee, he wouldn't be replaced. They needed Cody to go up for the backdoor.
  • Elena had been talking game a lot with Cody ... until now.
  • Now she's sucking up to the others.
  • They want to make her worry.
  • Heck, many show fans don't like how Paul is running the game this season. Yet, I believe all might say it's a good thing Elena's worried that she might go home.
  • The only thing better than that, in my opinion, is Elena actually going home!
  • When asked, Kevin told Jason that there is no way he would vote to keep Cody in the house this week.
  • Yet, they are still suspicious of Kevin's relationship with Cody.
  • Yet again, Jason had a long whispered game talk with Cody before the veto ceremony.
  • Then there's Christmas who seems to be getting increasingly grouchy day by day.
  • Christmas and Mark got into a huge war over pillows. Alex's pillows, Christmas's pillows ... I don't know, maybe even the sofa cushions!
  • And I'm not talking a pillow fight.
  • I'm talking actual anger.
  • Then Josh refuses to sleep in the same room as Elena because she invited Mark in there.
  • Yeah, now she's back with Mark.
  • He's in love.
  • She's not. She's just using him.
  • As the days go on, this is turning into a train wreck.
  • Small children wouldn't bicker as much!
  • Well, Thursday should see Cody out the door.
  • And, for the second eviction, if neither Mark nor Elena win HoH, it will be one of them.
  • Yawn.

Voicing suspicions

Fate is sealed, yet he persists

Cody talks game with Jason. Horrors.

Wanna buy a hot dog?

Christmas and Paul's tandem skydiver Punishment is over! Alex told Jason and Josh she wants those three plus Paul and Christmas as final five. Kevin now out of her five.

Now that Cody knows his fate, at least he seems to be taking it pretty well. He's actually been socializing and not giving anyone grief. Cody has been reminiscing about how he had visualized playing the game, w/o realizing it would (or could) end up in shambles.
Best laid plans and all that...

In the meantime, Paul's ego is having a hard time believing Cody wasn't up in the HOH (this evening) talking about him and planning his demise. Shocker... after all, this year IS "all about Paul." @@

I'm not surprised that Cody is beginning to look forward to getting out of "the middle of crazy" and starting to hope that being the 1st one in Jury, he will get the master bdrm/bath. LOL

I hope Cody fights til the end. I'd want out of this crazy house, too. There will always be someone to replace Cody. They'll find someone to scream at.

Then like good little sheeple, they'll take Paul to the end, so he can finally win. LOL

I forgot to say, Thank you, Jackie for blogging this. It is so greatly appreciated.

This season is really a disappointment. Paul's playing doesn't surprise me as it very similar to last year. But the total lack of independent thought by his followers is ruining the entertainment value. I wish Cody could stay just to have some game play drama. Alas another disappointment on the way.

Thank you Jackie for everything you do. I watched that "Pillowgate" happen live and it just pushed me over the edge. Alex SCREAMING at Mark for using HER pillows while she was sleeping in the HOA room. Then when Mark (who handled everyone ganging up on him very well) left the room her and all of Paul's minions would start laughing and patting themselves on the back was completely disgusting. I'm done with the live feeds for the rest of the season. So Jackie, I'm going to send you positive vibes for the rest of the season so you can continue to watch the feeds and not get sucked into the negative energy that cast is projecting. Good luck.

Narcotics do cause mood swings, which may be only one of XXXmas' many excuses for her behavior. She is a snarky, black-hearted slag, IMO. Aside from petting Josh on the head (like the good dog that he is), what nice thing has she done? She routinely picks a fight - over nothing - and has become Paul's "Grover Dill! [Pauls's] crummy little toady" {A Christmas Story reference, in case that was too arcane, LOL}

Pillowgate has nothing on Paisleygate, though. One funny moment was Kevin thinking Cody's daughters name is "Basil", BWHAHAHA. BASIL? But really - how sad is it that they are all hating him because he has a daughter? And he was correct - if he'd told them, they'd use it against him. And they are.

Thank you Jackie - I find the feeds more & more difficult to watch. The Friendsheep seem desperate to find things to be angry about and it's depressing. Has BB always been so mean?

IMO, BB has always had the capability of showing the more unsavory sides of the HG's.
However, it seems to me that we have gone from noticing 1-2 HG's with personalities or attitudes we didn't like each season... to a steady incline of actually mean-spitited people in each of the last few seasons. Along with that, consider the increase of those who appear to have non-existent initiative...in the house and in real life.

Unfortunately, I have to feel this is a sad commentary on the behavior of people (of all ages) and how they are increasingly treating each other in 'real' life.
