Sky divers land in back of Cody |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Whacked Wombats:
- Sunday was more boring than the usual Sunday.
- They were on indoor lockdown all day.
- Kevin fussed it was unfair. They only get the yard on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
- Paul told him it's Big Brother. It's not fair. That's the way it is.
- Mark, Kevin, Paul and Jason are the Have Nots this week. It's the first four out of the HoH comp.
- It's about time Paul was one! He isn't too thrilled.
- There is still animosity and criticism regarding Elena taking the veto money away from Alex and giving her the making hot dogs and setting up camp punishment.
- I don't think Elena could do it anyway. Alex is having trouble with the weight of all the backpacks. Elena would probably just crumple.
- They're also complaining about the hot dogs themselves. They're soy dogs and not very good. No one really wants to eat them.
- Jason's punishment is waking the others up. Between the BB announcements for him and his shouting that he's so EXTREME, it's not conducive to sleeping.
- Alex told Jason that, in the beginning, she and the rest of the house were all about getting Paul out. She trusts Paul now. At least, for now.
- Raven claims that she got food poisoning once at Outback from their chicken. She says she was in the hospital two days.
- Yeah, sure.
- Whatever, Raven.
- Kevin is still suffering the consequences of talking game with Cody.
- Now, all of them are indeed talking with Cody.
- But few are talking game with him.
- Mark and Elena have talked game with him.
- So, they're targets.
- Plus, they're a couple.
- So, they're targets.
- While Paul and Alex are pretty sure it's a double eviction week, Mark doesn't think so.
- Ahem.
- The plan is Cody out first, then either Mark or Elena in the second.
- Mark told Kevin that if he (Mark) wins HoH, neither Kevin nor Jason will be his targets.
- Well, duh. I could have figured that out!
- Paul thinks Cody is campaigning to get him out.
- Well, duh.
- And so it goes ...

There has been mentioned, rumor/speculation, that when Alex's punishment is over Paul is going to take her 'campers outfit' & wear it.
Funny thing is it will FIT!!
Thanks for the updates Jackie!
I noticed on last night's show, it looks as if Cody got a haircut, and it makes me wonder if BB has stylists that come in to the house for just that purpose. I can't go much longer than 4 weeks before a haircut, and it's been a couple months now.
I also think the plan for a double eviction makes it easier on the jury house. Imagine if Cody were there alone, at least if he's evicted he'll have company with whomever gets ousted in pt 2 Thursday.
They have trimmers in the house these days and give each other haircuts. I don't recall Cody getting one, but I might have missed it.
Certain irony that Cody is Public Enemy #1 because he dared to nominate Paul in Week 1 while Alex is claiming that Paul was Public Enemy #1 in Week 1...
I'm still not sure why breaking up a couple...er, Elena... isn't Priority 1. They were all squirrelly about Jody being 2 votes. Well, aren't the other couples also 2 votes...well, assuming they are really couples.
Anyone else notice?
For the first few weeks, Kevin was smiling, telling stories, and generally having fun.
People aren't for his story-time anymore, and they are treating him different.
Now he just looks fairly miserable... most of the time.
With his personality, I'm thinking AR might have been a better show for him.
Oops...'people aren't asking for his story-time....'
(got a little ahead of myself)
Cody definitely got himself a haircut. Perhaps Jessica gave it to him? His hair looked shorter last night which made me wonder about haircuts. I feel kinda bad for the fella who can only plan strategy with someone like Elena. That's gonna get him nowhere.
Alex started this game in a bad position as an outsider whose fate was basically sealed. She and Jason tried working with Cody to get out Christmas but unfortunately Kevin and Josh flipped and went w Paul's group to vote out Jillian. I think, at that point, Alex realized where she needed to position herself (and Jason) for survival. She had the opportunity to join the new majority (w Paul) and that was good for her game. Paul gave her a much better chance than she had with Cody because Jessica hated her so much there was no way she could have worked with Jody long term. I personally don't think Alex gets enough credit for her game. I think she would take out Paul if she had the votes.
It's been nice to see everyone get along better. I'm not a Cody fan, but he is not as unpleasant w Jessica not around.
LOL Alex sleeps exactly like I do.
~~~
Lest anyone forget,Cody blindsided his own alliance with his nominations. That,along with his isolating himself and making fun of the nominees ("victim noises"), was how he became public enemy #1.
Yeah, people always forget how terrible the hgs were in the beginning. I find myself having to remind myself how poorly Paul treated Dominique during her last days and hoping people won't forgive and forget when he leaves the house LOL.
~~~
Sharon,You're right about Kevin. He's depressed, misses his family, and he doesn't like being confined. The backyard being closed more and more is a significant contribution to that.
A lot has been forgotten from the beginning. People are too obsessed with hating Paul and/or fawning over Jody to remember how many things turned out the way they did.
Cody blindsiding his alliance was a major contributing factor to Paul's rise to power. The main alliance was left scrambling without a leader and Paul came in and picked up the pieces.
I wish someone would take Ravens hair piece and burn it. She looks awful. Has anyone noticed that there is black on Cody's name tags? If so why? I missed the night Raven told of her illnesses. What are they? I'm getting to be a Cody fan. He knows this game. Just saying.
uncartie,
Does it seem to you that the yard is closed off more this summer?
It does to me... maybe it's because they have additional comps this year.
I would be surprised if Kevin really does have a "thing" for Christmas. I think he's actually just looking for someone to spend time with that doesn't act like they are 5 yr olds, but it's unfortunate that he picked Christmas.
As the days/weeks have gone on, I doubt Kevin likes many (if any) of the childish and mean-spirited people in the house. He's constantly trying to break up mini-fights and the results of rough-housing, but it's not like he can put them on restriction (like at home). lol
Josh was the first one to act out. Remember, he took the Golden Apple so that the rest of his group could not play to win. Then, he started yelling at that one woman saying she was after him and she looked completely shocked because she wasn't. Then Cody as first HOH looked at her and said I nominated you because I hate you. No wonder the poor girl left. She had no chance. Cody and Jessica started talking trash about the rest of the house guests. Josh is immature and acts that way. Paul may have instigated Josh when Jodi started on them but I don't think he has instigated any other time. Right now, Cody is trying to spread rumors to Mark and Elaina since he knows he's going home and wants to affect the game. I hope the second evection is Elaina. She's to twitchy.
Jackie Hardin,
Raven's illnesses are too numerous to name. It's like she looked up every conceivable ailment on the internet and applied them all to herself... and her family. @@ If someone even slightly bumps into her, she agonizes for days... like she should be hospitalized. She's a total nut-job, and not a very nice one!
re Cody's tags: I'm sure BB covered up his identification number. That's not only military information, but could possibly be used to steal his identity and make claims on his military benefits (my guess).
Cody's name tag carries all his millitary info birth date and old tags SS # I think the new tags may have a special assigned military # instead of SS #
Anon 6:10
Thank you for clarification. I felt it had to be for security reasons.
If that info wasn't covered, Cody would be ripe for identification theft.
Hopefully you're right and the new military tags no longer use the SS#.
Identification theft is such a problem now. For years, it's been recommended that people NOT carry their SS cards (or the information) with them. We were victims of a home invasion, but I hadn't carried that information in my wallet/purse. That was a wise decision when our purses/wallets were taken. If that information had been in my wallet, my financial life would have gone right down the drain.
Interesting detail - back in about the first week, Paul was given "friendship bracelets" to distribute that kept recipients safe for the first week (or so, I forget). That struck me as very unfair, giving him an automatic alliance. He gave the bracelets to Jessica, Dominique, Raven, Elena, Kevin, Mark, Jason, and Ramses. Oddly enough, those are his hit list!
BarbaraF - Cody didn't say, "I hate you" to Megan, he said he didn't like her. Which was honest. Should he have lied, and been pegged a liar instead of a bully?
Megan later revealed that she has PTSD, and it was a different incident in the house that prompted her defaulting.
Frankly, she should never have been cleared by psych for the show in the first place, IMO. BB is a psychological game and sometimes gets dirty; it's not the place for someone with a delicate psyche.
I haven't forgotten why they turned on Cody; however, this was the first week. None of them were set in stone. And, none of them wanted Paul out at all. He moved too fast, too soon.
The reason why Cody's name tag is taped together is because they don't want it to jingle. If you are in a war zone, you do not want the enemy to hear you coming. It's out of habit. The dog tags are indented, so they really are hard to see. Unless a camera got up really, really close, you could not see what's on them.
Depending on the time he went in to the military, the older ones have name, social security number, blood type and religion (why I don't know). In 2015, they changed that. They took out the Social and replaced it with an Id # because of identity theft.
I am still a Cody fan. Yes, he came on really strong, but it's no different than how the others are sofaruppaulsbutt, it's ridiculous. I think he's done well at fending the group off.
I'm not for bullying at any level. It was wrong when Cody and Jessica did it; and it's wrong when it was 12 to 2. And, it's not good now.
Jessica is in our chatroom!!
Sweet info about the dogtags, Penny. Thank you!
Sharon,I think that as the season has progressed they've had less time in the BY due to the temptation comps.
I think the religion was intended for spiritual services in case of injury or death. After all, the primary purpose of dog tags was body identification.
My dog tags mine have my name, social security number, blood type and religion, The religion is on their so the chaplains know who should do services, I was in the Army National Guard from 1981 to 1987. My dog tags were in a cover to keep them from making noise. In basic training a chaplain visited us and someone asked why religion were on the tags. We were told that the dog tags were indented because they were to be placed between the solders teeth if they died. The reason their are 2 dog tags were that one was to be with the solider and one with the unit upon death.
gah... Hard to comprehend two grown boy/men fighting over who's sleeping with ELENA. @@
geez guys, she's gotta be reveling in being so "popular."
That's interesting, Glenn. Thank you. I never thought about them being put between the teeth. My husband never had a cover for his dog tags. One of my good friends is EOD in Afghanistan right now. He tapes his because he says they do not make the plastic strong enough for every job. However, he's in EOD, so I can understand that.
Petals, what chatroom?
it's the one of the CBS live feed chatrooms; it is a private one. Several of us sent her the link and she finally came. Her name is in blue, so we know it's really her. She doesn't contribute a lot. She did say Cody's dad is having surgery soon. Not sure on what. She still supports Elena, but can't believe they all still talk about Cody 24/7. LOL
YW Nicklepeed. Petals how do you get the chat rooms to wrk on the live feeds? Thanks!
Chat rooms are only available on CBS.Com and only certain devices.
I can access them on my desktop but not my tablet, phone, or Roku box
I have a lap top computer. I see where it says chatroom and it lists different rooms. Its by the live feeds screen, Are you able to go to the chatrooms while the feeds are on or do I have to use another link?
, Just choose a nickname and then choose a room. The fun is exchanging snarky remarks while watching
Petals, I think they'll be talking about him even after he leaves. LOL
Petals, how do you get from it on the chat page?
The fact that Paul had three weeks of safety also contributed to the events. Paul knew how to work it (them). I just wish he didn't yell in the DR. It grates on my nerves. Then again, so does "your boy" and many of his other antics, especially with Josh joining the "your boy" parade.
IMO, Cody and Jessica were toxic in the game together and more bearable when it's only one or the other. Personally, I still think that Jessica fit the profile of "mean girl" in the house. JMO
Do you have to pay all access?
I should elaborate on what I asked. Do you have to have a paid CBS all access plan to access the chat rooms?
Penny, if its the chatrooms for BB, they are on the feeds page. I don't believe they would show if you didn't have the feeds/all access. I've always had all access since the feeds moved from SuperPass to CBS so I don't know what the page looks like if you don't have the All Access login
Thank you, Monty. I appreciate it.
Sorry, I went to bed, Penny. I pay the $5.99 (I think), but you do have to have a CBS acct. I've chatted for years in there, on & off. This season was so polarizing, the normal safe rooms became very Jody v Paul, so the Jody fans made a private room.
Cody's dad is doing well after surgery (no, not sure what kind he has).
Jessica played our drinking game of taking a drink whenever Paul says "Cody". HILARIOUS
I don't know how exposing Kevin as the winner of the 25,000 helps when Paul has already stated that one of the primary reasons for getting rid of Ramses is that Ramses won it. Sets up a "Were you lying then or are you lying now"?
