Big Brother 16: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 27

Big Brother summer on Make A Gif

Are you ready to party? As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest news!

But, as you all know by now ... the real parTAY is in the comments section. Come watch the show with us and join in on the fun!

Cody is pondering putting Frankie up. Derrick is a naysayer.

Donny gets the Team America mission which is to create their own mission. He'd like the mission to keep all the members in the house. America will vote on whether what they do is worthy. It has to be done by veto meeting time.

Victoria's wisdom teeth are coming in and she's not only in pain, but has chipmunk cheeks. She passes out in the bathroom and Nicole calls Derrick to help. Derrick yells for a medic and tries to help her the best he can. The medic treats her and she's feeling a bit better. Now she feels loved.

Frankie and Derrick don't think America wants the mission to be to save Donny. Little do they know ...!

Veto players pick time -- Cody draws Christine who makes a horse noise, Nicole gets Derrick, Donny draws Frankie. He didn't want Frankie.

Frankie wants to put a play on. Derrick agrees that the play isn't a great idea and Donny hates it. He thinks Frankie is always "up there" and never on a "Donny level." Derrick tells him that it's too risky for their own games to try to flip the house.

The veto comp is as they thought, counting fold or stay. The others come up with a plan to rig the comp so Donny doesn't win. They have a Scorpion show tie-in. The winner not only wins veto, but gets a special showing of the new Scorpion TV show.

First round, the perfect numbers guy Frankie is out. Donny wins the round.
Second round, Cody wins.
Third round, Cody wins as all fold. He only needs one more win.
SHEESH! They all folded and Cody wins veto!

They deserve to lose for that! They obviously don't know when to hold or when to fold! By folding, it was an automatic win for Cody. Cody invites Donny and Nicole to attend the show with him.

Frankie has this brilliant idea to put on a play. @@

They play the evicted hamsters. @@

Donny's Devin is spot on.

I say no.

Cody would like to take someone down and put up Frankie. They'd have the votes. Derrick is reluctant.

Time for the veto meeting. Donny congratulates him, would love to stay, will respect if he doesn't use it on him. Nicole doesn't expect it. Cody chickens out and leaves both of them on the block instead of going for a Frankie ouster. I would have respected him so much if he had made the big move.

Survivor: San Juan Del Sur Cast Video Released

There's good news; there's bad news. The good news is there are no returning players this season. The bad news is that we do know a few of them. The "twinnies" from The Amazing Race can't, won't last too long, will they?

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Tuesday into Wednesday - August 27

Caleb and Nicole take a tumble

Yep, yep. I'm still here watching the grass grow. Too bad it's artificial turf!  Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Boredom:
  • The screen cap above is the most entertaining thing that happened all day yesterday. Caleb and Nicole were sitting next to each other. He was leaning back on his chair and leaned back too far. He grabbed Nicole's chair as he went, thus dragging her over, too. He claims it was an accident. But, since he had grabbed on and rocked her chair before, it was probably on purpose -- he might have just thought he wouldn't be really able to pull her over.
  • After she got up, she threw the water from her glass at him and he managed to perfectly escape getting hit by any.
  • How boring was it for them? It was so boring that all were in bed before 2am their time -- a first for this season.
  • Let's see ... what happened ... what happened.
  • Um. Cody got his HoH camera.
  • Nicole told Christine that she'd like to meet Ian and Dan at their after party. I can totally see that.
  • Victoria and Nicole bonded more. Victoria is still on her jealousy kick about Christine while we all know Christine betrayed Nicole. So, they have some common ground going there.
  • The BB voice yelled at Cody for jumping into the pool.
  • I've decided I'd personally like to have that backyard for myself. Get rid of the cameras and mirrors, though. Oh. I'd like the kitchen and storage room, too. I'd have to redecorate the whole place, but I could live there. Without hamsters and cameras, of course.
  • The live feeds were blocked as the hamsters did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
  • Victoria told Nicole that her whole view of Christine changed when she saw what Christine did to her (Nicole). She vowed to never put Nicole on the block if she wins HoH.
  • That's a big IF, but the sentiment is good.
  • Derrick and Nicole have bonded a bit due to Victoria and Nicole bonding. He told Nicole that he's said all along that Victoria was a good person.
  • Nicole is really struggling as a Have Not.
  • Donny seems to be taking it in stride. He's taken a lot in stride this summer.
  • Derrick and Cody compared notes on Christine, deciding she's a pathological liar.
  • Too bad they didn't think of that before Cody didn't use the veto!
  • Cody said he'd rather Frankie and Christine go away before Nicole.
  • I say, "Yay, Cody! You da man!"
  • Unfortunately, Derrick inputted with what a huge competition threat Nicole is. Grr, Derrick.
  • Caleb is disgusted with the Cody/Christine physical petting and cuddling.
  • So am I.
  • Of course, she also pets Derrick.
  • She pets the girls, too.
  • If she touched me, I'd give her a look that would KILL.
  • Nicole has bought Derrick's tale hook, line and sinker. She told Victoria she'd trust him with her life.
  • While I bet Derrick could be trusted with her life outside the house, inside not so much. (As we all know.)
  • Christine told Cody that Frankie and Nicole offered her final two deals.
  • Oh, well. Hamsters spinning their wheels in a hold position for now.
  • And, they're all still asleep.

You two can leave anytime. Please.

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Monday night into Tuesday - August 26

Walking the yard

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Misery:
  • Frankie thinks that Nicole and Victoria are "dangerous" together. He would prefer Nicole leave this week rather than Donny because Nicole put him on the block.
  • Frankie doesn't think Donny would put him on the block.
  • All Frankie has to do is convince Derrick that Donny staying is best for their games and the Team America deal. Frankie doesn't think America would have picked Donny for the team if he were a bad person. They (we) must like him.
  • Derrick, on the other hand, knows that Donny is the only one who realizes that Derrick's been calling the shots all summer long. Donny is the biggest threat in the house to Derrick's game.
  • OMG - These hamsters need to stop randomly yelling and screaming. I have to keep jockeying my volume up and down. They're going to scare my neighbors.
  • Donny said he likes it when "normal" people are on shows like Survivor so that fans can relate to them.
  • I agree. I wish more "normal" people were on Big Brother, too. Instead, we get over the top "characters" like Frankie.
  • Meanwhile, Nicole and Victoria grow closer.
  • Heh.
  • Lots of playing pool. I guess I'd rather watch them play pool than chess. But, geez. They should all be experts time the summer is over.
  • Christine, the staunch (and raunchy!) Get Donny Out Person, told Derrick she thinks Donny would win it all if he made the final two.
  • Derrick seems like he might be wavering a bit.
  • Only Frankie, Derrick, Christine, Caleb and Victoria can vote this week. Caleb will do whatever Frankie wants. Victoria will do anything Derrick wants. Hmm ... maybe the vote could flip.
  • They wouldn't need Christine.
  • But then Donny would be stuck there lonely and sad for yet another week.
  • I honestly don't think he can make it to the end. I personally wonder if prolonging his misery isn't the right thing to do. It's a wonder he hasn't gone bonkers.
  • Frankie told Derrick that he thinks the Diary Room hinted at him that saving Donny might be best.
  • They can't tell them to do things -- the hamsters will do whatever they want. But they can, through their questions, hint and plant seeds. Many of the previous hamsters said that they could tell be the questions asked how some of the things are going on the show. That's the extent of production meddling despite what you might read elsewhere.
  • We'll see. I just don't know what good it will do. Donny has too much opposition to get to the end. An endurance comp would probably knock him out second at this point (Victoria first).
  • Caleb (remember Caleb, the cowboy Eminem stalker dude?), said that if he wins HoH, he wants to put Nicole and Christine on the block.
  • So, Caleb thinks it will be Donny out this week.
  • Cody told Derrick that Frankie is trying to get him to save Donny.
  • Um. Cody can't save anyone at this point. He has no vote and there won't even be a tie-breaker vote as it's an uneven number of hamsters voting.
  • He has no real power at this point.
  • Victoria is getting jealous about Christine spending time with Derrick.
  • @@
  • She has a real crush going on there while Christine is a bit of a sleaze who probably will caress anything in pants. (Especially named Cody.)
  • As I get this posted it doesn't seem as 100% positive that Donny will go home this week.
  • However, I still think it's a very very strong possibility.
  • It would probably be a good thing for his psyche to get out of there. I can't imagine what he's going through being constantly targeted and being so different from the others.

Is she staying or going?

She has a serious crush, he doesn't

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Monday daytime/PoV ceremony - August 25

He's got the power ... until he doesn't

Well, yeah. The Power of Veto Ceremony was today. Like much else as of late, it was predictable -- the nominations remain the same. Here's what other stuff happened today inside that Big Brother House of Watching the Grass Grow:
  • Derrick hopes his wife doesn't watch the live feeds because he curses too much.
  • He does. Mr. Potty Mouth needs to lose the F word from his vocabulary. That's a habit and he needs to break it!
  • Derrick is also thinking of shaving his little beard-thingee he has growing on his face. He likes the look of it, but it itches.
  • I can't imagine how Donny's beard must feel!
  • Donny did his morning routine.
  • Victoria says she's feeling somewhat better.
  • Cody is kicking himself for going over memory questions with Frankie.
  • After the veto ceremony, Donny pointed out that he's been on the block for most of the season.
  • Alas, I think this is the time that will do him in.
  • BB did him wrong from the get go by casting him as the sole older person, plus the country simple life background. He's had to fight to stay in the house from the start. If I were him, I'd be just about at rage stage right about now. He has nothing to do, nothing to read or watch, doesn't have a great social game although he's certainly a likable guy. He'll probably be personally much better off with Jocasta, Zach and Hayden.
  • Derrick told Christine he sleeps because he's bored.
  • She told him that she hardly ever sleeps and the house has made her realize she has a very active imagination.
  • @@
  • Christine being in the house make me realize that some married women can't keep their hands off men who aren't their husbands!
  • I guess I already knew that.
  • She just reinforces it.
  • Victoria told Nicole that she's heard talk that Donny will be the target.
  • Sigh. Yes.
  • Derrick told Frankie he thinks their skit was good enough for the Team America mission.
  • While I'd like Donny (and even Derrick) to grab another 5k, I don't think so.
  • Of course, I don't want Frankie to get another 5k. I'd rather he just vanish from my monitor and my TV screen. Y'know, get abducted by aliens or something. Poof! Where'd he go?
  • I'd like that.
  • Christine also confirmed to Nicole that she's voting to keep her -- she's wanted Donny out since the first week.
  • Victoria really worked to make a tofu dish for Donny and Nicole (Have Nots) to eat. They liked the flavor, but she couldn't do anything about the texture.
  • Donny likened tofu to the suet you hang on trees for the birds.
  • Lots of napping going on.
  • Well, except Christine. She's always awake, always thinking, always creeping me out.
  • Nicole hates being on slop and tofu. She doesn't want to eat. Donny told her she must force herself because the next comp could very well be "the wall." (Endurance.)
  • YAWN.

Jury house would be better, really.

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds into Monday - August 25

Exciting

During the daytime hours yesterday, nothing really worth reporting happened. Since it was Sunday, no comps, nothing really to do except nap, outright sleep, lounge about, sunbathe and use the photo booth. As evening approached and these nocturnal hamsters came more to life, there was a bit of talk. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hamster Stew:
  • As the norm for the season, Donny was up first and followed his usual morning routine of eating, exercise, cleaning and lounging.
  • A few days back Derrick and someone else (either Cody or Frankie) talked about how OCD Donny's entire life is. They're right. Donny starts out each day with the same routine except if a lockdown prohibits it. And, in the past, he's described having a routine daily in his "real life."
  • Of course, Caleb thinks it's because of Donny's past in special services.
  • @@
  • Others are noticing that Caleb never does anything for himself -- doesn't do his own laundry, doesn't cook his own food.
  • Team America worked more on their silly skit with each of the hamsters playing other hamsters doing diary room sessions. (Which is more bearable than Frankie's Broadway show idea.)
  • Derrick and Frankie talked about how production doesn't seem too happy with their play idea.
  • Nicole thanked Cody for the Scorpion showing he invited her and Donny to on Saturday night. They seemed to all like the show.
  • But, since it's a new CBS show, they're not about to say they don't like it!
  • There was more outsider yelling over the fence -- this one said Frankie was the Saboteur. They got sent inside.
  • Donny's pretty sure that he'll get the boot this week.
  • He told Nicole he'd like to go to college and be someone.
  • Huh. He's someone already!
  • Victoria is worried about how she's being portrayed on the show.
  • Sentiment is finally turning against Christine -- both Cody and Caleb talked about how she needs to go even before Victoria. She floats from one side of the alliance to the other and could be more of a detriment to their individual games. Victoria is more of just there without a sneaky component to her actions.
  • Of course, that could be remedied, I say! Cody! You could take someone down from the block and backdoor Christine! I'd love that! Many show fans would love it, too!
  • Sigh.
  • He can't hear us.

Big Brother 16: HoH and Nominations Show Blog Party - August 24

Big Brother summer on Make A Gif

Good evening! The show will be starting on time here on the East Coast. A miracle, I say! As it airs, I'll update this post with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest.

But you know where the party is, right? Let's head to the comments area!

Nicole is back. Donny is happy. He fills her in on some of the happenings.

A segment on Donny flashbacks talking to others trying to get them to flip, done in odd low saturation. Looks weird. Make them stop that.

HoH comp time, lace up your gloves. They're all in boxing gear. Boxing event over six rounds, figure out day event happened on. They punch buttons to come up with the correct day of the events. Punching for Days!

Nicole eliminated in the first round. Victoria out next. Christine out. Interesting, all three girls out in a row! Caleb out next. Derrick out. It's between Cody and Donny. Sigh. As we live feeders know, Cody wins.

Derrick is happy as Cody won't nominate his best bud, plus no blood on his hands. Nicole is devastated.

Who wants to see my HoH room? And blah-blah-blah ...

Nicole tries to talk to Cody. He wants Donny out. But he's not really taking the bait entirely. He files it away for future reference. In talking with Derrick, Cody tells him he'd honestly rather Nicole stay in the game than Christine. They both get off on an anti-Christine tangent. But neither suggest anything other than a Donny/Nicole nomination for this week.

Donny, in a bad move, wakes Cody up to plea his case. Donny warns Cody the others will keep Victoria over him (Cody) as everyone could win against her. He offers to work with Cody. Derrick tried to feel Donny out to no avail.

That's not to be confused with Christine trying to feel Cody up, of course.

Nominations time -- Cody nominates Nicole and Donny. Nicole, loves her, be amazing. Donny, lot of chatter, immediate threat.

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was - August 24, 2014

Good morning! Welcome to my weekly off television topic post which reflects on the week gone by in both words and photographs I've taken along the way. There is no television content in this post and it's something I do weekly year 'round. If you're looking for Big Brother content, my latest can be found right here at this link.

Another week down. Another week with nothing really exciting going on -- just working, blogging and giving a certain cat his required devotion. Here's some quickie random thoughts on the week:
  • I really really need a vacation. I have two four-day work weeks ahead of me. But that's not good enough. I want vacation.
  • Without endurance comps and a predictable season at hand, BB isn't as financially good for me this season as in the past. Few people are motivated to donate via Paypal although the ad income is just about the same as other years. Yet I'm still working as much at it. Sigh. If I didn't enjoy the community I built, I'd be tempted to give it up. It's almost like having a full-time job atop a full-time "real" job. I'm so tired!
  • It seemed to rain a lot this week. We had another one of those bizarre three-hour long thunderstorms on Thursday night. I don't recall having that long of a thunderstorm ever, yet we've had more than a few of them this year.
  • I, for one, am enjoying a rather mild temperature summer. Alas, they're predicting a bad winter for around here. I can take the cold -- I know how to dress properly. I just can't deal with ice and snow on the sidewalks and streets!
  • I still have no clue who the new upstairs neighbor is. Nor do I have any idea male or female. It seems to be one person -- always a plus in my mind! No kids (which I don't know why they let people with children in one bedroom apartments when their own rules say no more than two people in a one bedroom). I hear footsteps and occasional music. I don't recognize the music. It's not Mexican Polka, nor classic rock or classical. It has a beat. I'm thinking either pop or rap played rather low. He/she hasn't flooded my bathroom. All is good.
Onto this week's photos -- clicking on an image will lead you to my photobucket page of the image. From there, you can make the image larger twice by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom right of the screen.

The I See Dead People saga continues

People really shouldn't sleep near me on the train! This guy is so cool that his bike has blue tires. I noticed his legs are shaved. I would guess for aerodynamics. Of course. I'm sitting in the vestibule level handicapped/bike/etc. section as I had a bunch of stuff I bought at Target with me and I didn't want to lug it up and down the train stairs. Although the seats are padded there, the seats in the main section of the cars are more comfortable. Raritan Valley Line, NJ Transit.

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds into Sunday - August 24

Gotta know when to hold

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Card Sharks:
  • Victoria is seriously having issues with her wisdom teeth. At one point, BB took her out and gave her an IV. She's on antibiotics and they've apparently notified her mother. Not only does she feel terrible, she feels terrible about being shown sick on the show.
  • Victoria had passed out on the bathroom floor and was found by Nicole. Nicole immediately called Derrick to help her. Nope, not Caleb, Cody, Frankie or even Donny. She called Derrick to help without skipping a beat. That in itself kind of shows the reputation that Derrick has built in the house.
  • Derrick later tried to make Victoria feel better by calling her his favorite chipmunk.
  • It didn't work.
  • No way does she want to leave. But she really wants to feel better!
  • However, for a while there it looked like she might get pulled from the house.
  • Even when (possibly IF) the PoV comp would be held got put on hold while Victoria's future in the game was uncertain.
  • Donny didn't want the comp to go on without her.
  • In other news, Team America was apparently given the next mission and we had nothing to do with it. They have to come up with their own (worthy) mission, complete it and then America will decide if it was worthy of a mission accomplished money win.
  • Donny asked Derrick if he thought that keeping TA together would be enough of a task. In other words, keep Donny from going home.
  • Well, that would be nice. But I personally don't think all of America would vote it as worthy.
  • Of course, they were soon interrupted.
  • I couldn't live in that house with people just bursting into rooms without knocking!
  • Caleb said that if Frankie mentions his schools in Africa charity again, he'll say his own winnings will go to wounded warriors from the United States.
  • He's a bit late in saying that as he's already said how he's going to spend a fortune on cars and the good life.
  • BB has gotten to the point now they feel they have to tell this bunch o' slobs to clean the bathroom.
  • @@
  • (Hoarders anyone?)
  • Christine, Derrick and Frankie were the players picked for the PoV comp. I'm not sure if Victoria was even in the running for it although they brought her back to the house.
  • Derrick told Frankie that Donny's been throwing them under the bus and needs to go.
  • In a rare moment in which I agree with Frankie, he said they've been doing the same to Donny.
  • Oh my.
  • I agree with Frankie. I must be running a fever!
  • The veto comp was the hold/fold one with a luxury prize for the winner and two guests.
  • Nope, they can't leave the house.
  • In the HoH room, there will be a screening of the new CBS series Scorpion complete with popcorn and beverages.
  • Cody won and selected Donny and Nicole to be his guests.
  • Aw, ain't that sweet?
  • Nope, not really.
  • It keeps them from talking game while Derrick can babysit Caleb, Christine and Frankie.
  • Ill Victoria needs no babysitter.
  • Now they're all (even Derrick) back to thinking that Donny is more than a mere groundskeeper.
  • Much of the hours after the comp were spent rehashing the comp. Supposedly, once Christine and Derrick figured out Cody could win, they abandoned their own hopes of winning and played for him to win.
  • Derrick had a long heart to heart talk with Donny about life and the game.
  • He cried afterwards.
  • That's Derrick crying, not Donny.
  • He thinks it would sketchy for them (him and Frankie) to campaign to keep Donny this week when Caleb, Cody and Christine so want him out. Thus, Derrick is in a dilemma.
  • Frankie wants to create a Broadway type play for the TA mission.
  • Oh, geez. I hope not!
  • Lots of miscellaneous conversations, but little game talk.
  • Things aren't looking too good for Donny now.

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Bulletin - PoV (Power of Veto) Comp - August 23

She needs to stop caressing his back!

Sigh. Cody won the Power of Veto. Not looking too good for Nicole (or Donny but Derrick and Frankie want another week) on Thursday. More eventually!

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds into Saturday - August 23

Pretending to listen to music

No, I haven't been really ignoring you. Really. I guess it's a mix of boredom and predictability affecting my posting. But here's my take on the latest inside that Big Brother House of Stick People:
  • You know Cody won HoH.
  • You know Cody surprised us all by putting Donny and Nicole on the block.
  • Oh, they also made Donny a Have Not and Nicole volunteered to be one.
  • Did you know Frankie has a "famous" sister?
  • I listened to a wise and pithy conversation regarding the pros and cons of Lowes vs. Home Depot vs. Amazon.
  • Caleb is still sure Donny is something big military -- perhaps a Silver or Bronze Star recipient.
  • Derrick, who has said before that he believes Donny is indeed a groundskeeper, played along with Caleb's visions.
  • Cody and Derrick have noticed they can't be alone without either Frankie or Christine bursting in.
  • They discussed if Donny or Nicole come off the block putting Frankie up.
  • But they don't think they'd have the votes to send him packing, Caleb would be mad, but Christine would just crumble and float their way. Plus it would leave the Donny/Nicole duo intact and Christine might just float that way.
  • They built stick houses.
  • Nicole tried her best to convince them that she should stay.
  • However, that just served to work against her even more.
  • They're still going on about all the "lies" Nicole tells.
  • Which, as we know, are mostly truths.
  • BUT THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!
  • Frankie continues to be too much over the top with his squealing. You'd think he was the wild boar Caleb killed with his teeth (whatever, literary license going on here) pre-season.
  • Frankie makes all the gay men I've known for decades look macho. He needs to turn it down. The more he acts, the more it comes across as acting.
  • Bad acting, too.
  • Derrick continues to push for the Nicole out rather than Donny this week. He says Nicole is a more dangerous competitor -- she wins comps, has a good social game while Donny wins comps, but his social game is lacking.
  • The boys wrestled. So Frankie had to jump in.
  • Cody and Christine talked about how much Donny disgusts them.
  • Hey, I could really go off on a tangent about how much Christine disgusts me!
  • But I refuse to demean myself by being so profane.
  • Victoria's wisdom teeth issues are making her face swell up.
  • Cody knows Derrick wants to send Nicole out this week, but he really wants Donny to go. He thinks Donny picks on him.
  • He's also tired of Donny winning comps.
  • Derrick thinks a lot of people are rooting for Donny because he's the underdog. (Yes, there are, but maybe not totally for that reason.)
  • He also says, as a fan of the show, if an alliance were ruling the game such as they are, he'd be mad because it's so predictable.
  • Yes, he's right.
  • Christine's angry that Julie Chen called her out on the live show for throwing the comp.
  • Too bad, so sad.
  • That's about it for here. They're sleeping.

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Bulletin - Nominations in - August 22

Have Nots and Nominees

As totally expected, Cody put Nicole and Donny on the block. More later.

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Thursday evening into Friday - HoH Winner - August 22

Who wants to see my HoH room?

It was a mental comp. Cody won. Who woulda thunk it? Here's what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Really Noisy Hamsters:
  • Why must they always shout so much? I have to keep turning my volume down. Indoor voices please.
  • But don't whisper. It irks me when I have to turn the volume way up for whispers, then Frankie or Christine come along and squeal.
  • When the feeds returned, Nicole spoke of the joys of the jury house -- they could make lists of foods, beverages, candy, etc. and get it delivered to them, BB set them up with Pandora so they could listen to any kind of music they wanted. They could sleep wherever they wanted without BB yelling at them.
  • Donny is elated to have a friend in the house once again. He told Nicole he's been so lonely. "It will be nice to have someone to set with."
  • Donny pointed out to Nicole that going two against six will probably not have good results.
  • "Game on," said Nicole.
  • They're sure that they will be nominated together.
  • Alas, so am I.
  • Derrick is glad it was Nicole coming back and not Hayden.
  • I bet he is!
  • Christine has latched onto the guys.
  • Safety in numbers, after all. Now there are suddenly two bigger targets than her and she can float along for a few more weeks hanging onto coattails.
  • I'm mad at Nicole. Yes, I am. She was foolish enough to tell Frankie that his sister was in the audience at the double eviction. That set him off into over the top ridiculous ear-piercing squealing. Grr.
  • Frankie and Derrick assured Donny that Team America is still a go for missions. Hey, they want him out (and he knows it), but why not go for as much money as they can?
  • Then came the comp. From what they said, Nicole was the first gone. It was questions on what day what happened.
  • Both Derrick and Nicole said they weren't even sure what number day today was!
  • I'm with them there. It seems like eons ago the season started.
  • Nicole told Donny that Hayden should have come back instead of her because he would have "crushed" the comp.
  • Frankie thinks there might be a Pandora's Box this week.
  • They haven't been able to have one all summer as the room has been used weekly for the second HoH.
  • Huh. Christine thinks Donny's fans are going to be pissed. Then Frankie said he doesn't think Donny has any fans!
  • Hey! Donny has more fans and fewer haters than both Christine and Frankie combined!
  • Aww ... Nicole says that Hayden gave her a rose and wrote her love notes in the jury house. Ain't that sweet? She says he's the most kind and thoughtful guy she's ever met.
  • Everybody acted happy at Cody's HoH reveal.
  • We know some weren't all that thrilled, but played along.
  • Cody's mother wrote him a letter addressed to "CodyBear."
  • Donny's starting to get a bit edgy. He told Cody he's thought all along that he was some dumb kid and he's really smart.
  • Cody: "I'm a college graduate."
  • "Huh. Who? What? Where?"
  • While Cody wants to concentrate on getting Donny out, Derrick is thinking it might be best to target Nicole (as he says she's more deceitful than Donny).
  • I think Derrick's thinking of missions for Team America -- since both would have to go, might as well keep Donny the extra week.
  • It's all about the Benjamins.
  • Nicole isn't ready to give her return to the game up. She plans to plead with Cody that she was HoH three times and never put him up, she's out of sync with the game and weak, etc.
  • We'll see.
  • But, if Derrick has his way, which he usually does, his flying monkey Cody will target Nicole while Derrick cackles looking at the crystal ball.

Goody! Now there are two to go before me!

Oh my.

Just passing through ...

A week ahead with a friend! Yay!
