So, who's watching On the Lot? This show is surprising me. I wasn't too keen on the concept, but I do believe I'm indeed hooked. Some of the one-minute comedies the wannabe-directors created were a hoot, others just left me saying, "huh?" I think the "Wack Alley Cab" guy and the JT "Nerd" film guys will be gone. I'm watching it to see.Here are the TV Newsy Bits I found for you today:
- The Houston Chronicle reports that Survivor 13 winner Yul Kwon is likely to receive an Asian Excellence Award.
- We know that Charlie left Lost with honor. But, how is actor Dominic Monaghan taking the cut from the show? The Celebrity Spider reports that he's not too pleased.
- According to this AOL article, tonight's House season finale will shake things up and end with a cliffhanger. Ohhh... a cliffhanger, eh? Who shot JR?
- Speaking of shake-ups, NBC's slumping ratings have caused an executive shake-up at the network. Drama!

Hey Jackie... I was just coming on to ask if anyone else was watching On The Lot. I think it's really good to see some of this talent, especially the time in which they had (have) to create their "movie".
I've already formed opinions of some of them, but unfortunately don't know their names yet, so can't comment too much. The guy with the laughing jerk in the car I was hoping would go,but somebody kept him in there.
The guy with the special effects is amazing. How did he do some of that... even the judges asked him. So far he's the obvious one to win.
The girl who is hosting may possibly get on my nerves...we'll see tho. It's not her so much as what she has to work with...so far she's no Ryan Seacrest.
Well so mucy for not commenting too much.
Now I read a quite different take from Dominic in the TV Guide for next week. He said he was ready to go and move on with his career because he wasn't happy with the amount of air time he was getting this season(???). I thought he was on quite a bit,it's a big ensemble and they all can't be front and center each week,now can they? But he talked as if this was fine with him,he had talked to TPTB,and the parting was mutual.He also said he wanted to go out with class and I think they did that for him.
he was very closedmouth about his relationship with Evangeline,said his personal life was none of their business,but she was a "fun" person!He sounds like a kind of cheeky individual.
I'm sorry but I can't watch lost anymore..about half way through the last season i was so discombobulated(15 point word) that i didn't know which way was up..I'm sorry to see the lil hobbit go..i did like him..
I watch'd house lastnight..talk about shaking things up..i really didn't think that Forman would leave..but then when he Fired Chase and the girl quit at the end..House has no team now...I'm not ready to look at 3 new Dr.'s next season..I hope he's just "trippin" from all the pain meds he's takin..that would explain the lady being dead for a day and then waking up..huh..guess we'll have to see..(gggrrrr i hate waiting for the good show's to come back on..)

In Re: Dominic Monaghan - I mentioned on 5/24 that I had just seen an interview with him on E!NEWS and his exact quote was "I didn't like being a bridesmaid, only there to facilitate other people's storylines. Time to move on." That out of his own mouth! You really can't believe everything you read. Makes me wonder about other things they've said.
Lyss, House is a fav of mine and it would not be the same w/o Foreman, Chase, and Cameron. We just have to wait and see.
Also about Dominic- Im a huge fan of People & Us mags (my guilty pleasure) and I havent seen any pics with him and Evangeline in quite awhile. Maybe they arent together and that played a part in his character dying as well... ??? Just a thought! :)
I was just wondering around different sites..(and this is way off of what was on Jackie's blog today)..but i was reading about Yul winning the award..and i want to put in my 2 cents for the next survivor all-stars..i want to see Yul and Yau-man on the same tribe..thow in a lil earl in the mix, and you prolly got one hell of a team..lol..well you'd prolly need some muscle..i'll be happy to look at boo again..lol
just a thought..i'm bored at work and whend that happens you never know what's going to pop into my head..
