Here are the late Sunday night happenings from that Big Brother House of Pirates and Damsels in Distress:
- Jameka thinks others will throw the HOH challenge. No one really wants it due to the pressure.
- Joe held his storytelling time again. He needs a campfire and better stories.
- Dick and Dustin believe Carol is going home this week, Jen next week.
- Dick explained the concept of backdooring to Amber and they wonder if that's the best way to send Jen home. He likes everyone in the house except Jen -- he says she's an idiot.
- The others headed off to bed leaving Eric, Dick, and Amber talking in the yard.
- They discussed who would put up whom if they got HOH. They discussed past seasons and the year of the X-Factor (which they think is comparable to this season). It's surprising me that Dick is very aware of past seasons. I expected it from Eric. Amber is the least knowledgeable about the show.
Eric headed off to bed, so it's just Dick and Amber small talking in the yard as I post this.

...................................I'm getting a little worried about Dick and his lack of sleep. Does he catch up at any time during the day? If not, he's gonna get punchy and that will affect his thinking and strategy. I'd really like to see him stick around for awhile. Is he taking any catnaps, Jackie?
It absolutely amazes me that people would apply for the show with half million dollars at stake and not do their research beforehand. How could Amber not know about "backdooring" someone??!
But I just can't get over Jessica last night - she's hysterical! When she was reenacting her cheer for the Blue team, all I could think of was the quote from Napolean Dynomite "I see Blue, He look's glorious!"
Oops! I meant to say the quote from "Old School" not "Napolean Dynamite"! (And I spelled Dynamite wrong!) I'm having a Jessica morning - waiting for the glitter to fall out of the empty space in my head. Hee,hee.
While I find Jessica's voice excessively annoying, I look forward to hearing her stupid comments. I just love making fun of people like her.
What kills me about all of these people is that they watch the show and don't see past houseguest behaviors in themselves. Don't they know that the annoying people get voted out first?

Most of them are so self-absorbed, I doubt they have any idea they are annoying others. I'm waiting for Jen to catch a glimpse of herself in a mirror and just freeze in place for a few days in total wonderment.
BTW - absolutely love your new avatar! It cracks me up every time!
I agree w/ orkmommy..i really don't want to hear the sound that comes out of jessica's mouth..but the words are too funny to pass up..me and my kids were still "go blue because we were the blue team" this morning and i ask'd my youngest what she want'd for breakfast and she said oatmeal..cuz it taste oaty..gotta love kids..lol..

Thanks Anon! I use this one on my chat programs too. Last year there were certain unfriendly people on the blog who made comments about my picture so I figured I'd put a funny one out there this year for people to make fun of! :-)
My first post, but I've read your blog for 2 years! I just had to comment on how Jen and Jessica are really bugging me, and I see I'm not the only one. Jessica acts and talks like she's five, Jen is...just cant bring myself to describe her. I dont have a fav yet.

good morning from the west coast. last night gave me more insight to the hamsters. Jessica's voice drives me crazy! I can't imagine what it's like living with her....and she still acts like she's in high school!!Kail professes to be a christian but she sure doesn't sound it(I own the town, everyone works for me, I wouldn't give up my seat for a pregnant woman).
I'm liking Amber, Dick, Dustin, and Jameka so far. I don't get the live feeds so I count on your blog to keep me up-to-date. Does Dick ever sleep???
I voted for Eric to talk to Dick, then Jen was next-- only because when she started crying at the wall he starting laughing out loud in front of her.

I laughed out loud at your DY NO MITEE comment, because when I read it the first time, I thought of that stupid movie...Hoodwinked.
The only funny part in the whole movie I thought was the little rodent who found a "candle" in the mine cart. When asked by the big bad wolf what kind of candle, he replies, "Dee-na-mee-tay." Thanks for the laughs!!!

My favorite was when she paused before she said "because we're the blue team". Like America wouldn't get why she was saying "Go Blue!". Good thing she cleared that up for us cuz I was confused!!

So far, my two to go sooner rather than later are drama queens Joe and Jen. Egads!
I don't see how Dustin even endured a relationship with the drama queen Joe. He is so irritating and Dustin is so calm. Opposites attract...I guess.
Jen is way too full of herself. I really hope she or Joe go next.
I haven't made up my mind about the others yet. Kail (and what kind of name is that anyway, isn't it a vegetable?) offended me the first night with the "choosing" to be gay comment. Clueless!! So, she is on my short list too.
