Here's what's happened since the tea-pouring:
- Someone asked if Jen cried. She didn't. What's even stranger is that she didn't even rinse her hair or change her top. She sat talking to Kail and went a bit robotic once again.
- The rest of the houseguests really don't seem to have much reaction at all to the incident.
- Amber is now in Dick's court. How odd.
- Dustin thinks that Dick is "fracturing" their group. He feels they must focus on their targets.
- Daniele and Dick think that Jameka is a hypocrite because she said she won't use a veto again. Dick also thinks that Dustin showed his true self when he gave up for the prizes at the POV comp.
- Most agree that Kail is clueless.
- Dick said he won't dump any more tea on anyone, but didn't apologize to Jen.
- Eric's hair is now dyed black.
- Dick now claims he'll vote to get rid of Nick for the group, but it's not best for strategic reasons. (Then why did he push for it for so long? He wanted Nick on the block and gone!)
- Eric and Jen had a long talk. Eric told her to hang in, she has never been the target. Jen wants to ally with Eric, Jameka, and Jessica.

I sure hope that Dustin puts Dick up on the block. I do not want to give Dick another chance to think he cannot be held accountable. Word exchange is one thing, but ED took it one step too far with what he did. Maybe if his bad a** was sat in the nomination chair, he would tone it down some and realize he cannot assult someone and no one is going to tolerate such behavior on his part. If only we could get the message to Eric that America feels ED crossed the line and needs to go. I am pleased to hear that Eric and Jen were able to talk. I don't have live feed or Sho, but I hope Jen was able to talk to someone about the attack. It will be interesting to see what will become of this.
BB needs to take action. Maybe not let ED have anything but slop and water to be on since he is so wasteful with the regular menu. They need to strip him of his plasma TV while they are at it.
If BB believes this is TV we want to see, I believe they are wrong. I hope there can be better sportsmanship on everyones part, BB and players alike.
Hi Jackie, All I know about the late night horrors in the BB house of the unsavory is what you tell me. So I have some questions. Earlier, before the tea dumping, you had a feeling it was contrived. What do you think now? Are there still any clues to the dumping being a duping? If so, the whole thing needs a new BB title and you or your commenters are the ones to find it. If a 'showmance' is a pretend romance what would the performance art last night be called? But, if it all was real, then we already have a lot of words to describe it and they are all very serious words.
Next is about Jen being robotic. Again, I didn't see or hear it happen, but isn't her behavior classic for a long time abuse victim? Ignore the threat and don't give away the pain caused? Or am I reading too much into her Jenboticness?
Thanks for the updates, Jackie, Sue
Sue,I,too, agree that there has to be something behind Jen's reactions to everything,it seems a mechanism to deal with "stuff".But this is getting over the top,and whether it's real or contrived,it's going beyond the norm and is now verbal abuse, plain and simple. ED's language is disgusting, crude and has taken on a threatening tone. It was one thing to tell it like it is and let people know where they stand with you,to be in their face and a big bad a$$,but he has taken this to a whole new level. I can't imagine any woman wanting a man to talk to her like this guy does to Jen. And her lack of reaction just drives him wild and to lower depths of filth and degradation. And,I will say, once again,I think pouring the tea over her head was assault, pure and simple. He has no right to do that, all she was doing was talking and responding to Daniele's attack on her.CBS does need to address this matter.
I saw it all on Showtoo and I didn't think what ED did was that bad. It was actually a little funny but Nick was so angry I was afraid he might do something physical to Jen. I do feel sorry for Danniel, though. She is so sad and she doesn't seem to deserve to be treated so badly. I think she will be better off with Nick gone, though. I really hope that ED isn't alligning with Jen because she really needs to go.
Nancy
This reason alone is why it's never a good idea having underage " supposedly estranged " struggling conflicted strained relationship family members within same BB Household. Although Danielle's not 21, it's obvious ( Dick had given parental consent prior entering BB house ) thus allowing Dani to drink alcohol beverages, however if ED's evicted, legally BB cannot distribute alcohol to a minor, perhaps becoming BB's worst nightmare. Either way, I certainly hope I'm wrong regarding ED's demeanor facial expressions which appear to suggest there's a definite underline contribute surrounding his erratic behavior, which OIMHO has absolutely nothing to do with protecting a " child " I hope various incidents were indeed script - staged. If a houseguest actions ( Dick pouring tea on Jen ) ( Amber crying ) is not generating a desirable tolerable response ( Jen not being phased` affected ) Then it's gotten repetitively old, generally viewed upon as; Enough Already " Ok time to move on to something new - someone else, back to @@ Enough-Already, ED we get that you dislike certain HG's, we know Ambers going to cry @@. Now let's see something mature with entertainment involved ( Not Zach stripping ) Hahaha - However it's difficult to convince viewers/ family members whom have their fav's that something isn't quite accurate following editing for TV viewer Audience, I'd speculate reediting BB this year has certainly become a major task, not to mention fearing unexpected turnaround viewer response backlash.
Tom` S
I hope that CBS will put the viewers at ease as to whether the incident was staged or real. Just so the viewers know that BB is watching what is going on and if it is serious they will take action.
I know you guys are having a great time talking about the Dick/Jen situation but.....what does everyone think about Jen approaching Eric and aligning with him, Jessica & Jameeka? Just curious. Eric & Jessica are my two favs in the house, so if Jen could get them further through, keep the target off them and be a sequester vote for one of them...it could be a brilliant plan.
Geez I'm so over ED....sick of hearing how awesome he is....the comparision with Dr. Will??? Please!! not anywhere close.....is anyone watching the same show as me?....I don't get the love affair with him...he's abusive....everyone knows abuse isn't just a physical thing.
Clearly, he's an evil dick.
He hasn't yet done anything they can kick him off for, like weilding a knife, but where does verbal abuse and actual physical contact, if only with throwing a glass of ice tea at someone -- different than the spaghetti food fight, as it was done as an angry attack -- count in these producers eyes?
I agree with Patty that this is not what we tune in to watch. Drama, strategy, tension, even boredom we'll watch. Evel ain't entertainment, and neither is Dominant Danielle (he voice is so whiney and she's so self righteous), or her buff little lapdog Nickdick.
I just wish Jen would have gotten a bit more aggressive and told Dick he's crossed a line... but then they'd just add more to their list on her. Still, not doing it seems to be read as an invitation to go further in dick's mind (no longer a name, but an adjetive). Often when you don't speak up people misinterpret that it's OK with you.
Is it cuz she's too young to know what to say? Is it because she wants to stay in the house? After all, she has actually done nothing to anyone. Her big crime is coming off like a vain airhead. And she put dick up weeks ago, which does not at all seem to be his motivation.
Jen holds her own in terms of not backing down. She stood her ground with Nick who came at her when she said I wasn't caling Daniele 12 I was talking about Dick... but Nick was an asshole. A real gentleman might defend his girlfriend, but would not think it's OK to do so at the expense of the physical expense of another female.
I have to say, I felt really bad for her. She WAS upset, but I think trying to control it. Jackie, if she went into robot mode after, maybe it was just to cope and keep her game face on.
If I were in there, I'd have a hard time not saying something to Dick on her behalf, and that would only put a target on my back, hence why people like Eric, Jameka and Jessica sit by and do nothing?
Sorry this is so long!
I highly doubt this stunt was staged. If they spoke of an alliance early on, has there been any recent talk at ALL about their alliance feed watchers? I've seen nothing, read nothing at Jokers.
I think Joe, Carol and Mike are the lucky ones. They got out before the 'inmates took over the asylum". These people will continue to live together when BB is over--at the local mental health facility because they're ALL NUTS!
BB needs to address this issue beause there are too many viewers who watch ShoToo and live feeds. This was a fight between Jen/Dani-they are both grown women(although they don't act it). Let them handle it. In Dani's defense she was trying to but Dick/Nick kept interfering. She did ask them to be quiet and let her talk. In Jen's defense I think anyone would have brought up the Jen/Nick fling in the heat of an argument. After all they have all had to sit back and watch Dani cry and pout about what to do.What is with allowing Dani to drink? Are there special clauses in the law for TV shows? I think if Jen is trying to align with Eric/Jam/Jess it's a smart move. That would make them an alliance of four which would make them the controlling force in the house(Amber would join them because we all know she flips like a pancake)Like I said before they all need to be put in seperate rooms for Time Out and Cool Down. Let 'em out on Thurs. night!
Good morning to all!
Nana
Sydney--I agree but now tell us what you REALLY think!LOL,ha,ha,ha.
I think Jen's reaction to not engage with TD(the dick)was a smart move. When he got no response he left. I believe there may be something in her past that has caused to put up walls and be robotic. Everyone has different coping skills--maybe that's hers.
Nana
Sydney - I agree that I would have had to say something. I understand this is a game for lots of money, but morals and values have to have a place. There is no way I could have stood by and not defended her in some way. What happened between her & Dani was exactly that...between HER & DANI. Other commenters have mentioned that he was protecting Dani, but she didn't need his protection and even told him to keep out of it. Does he follow her around in her every day life and make sure nobody bothers her? I think not!!
When was Dani drinking? I've read that other HG's think it's weird that she doesn't drink. Did she have her birthday and we just don't know?
Thanks Jackie for your excellent coverage of "what's going on in the house". I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one disappointed this year in the selection of houseguests. They seem to be the least entertaining and least interesting than ever in previous years. I can't understand why they're all so obsessed in the "thing" between Nick and Daniele. Last year, there was REALLY a heavy thing going on between Dr. Will and Janelle! They both had "significant others" too. It seems like CBS decided to cut corners by eliminating the employees who were supposed to interview and investigate this group of guests. I just LOVE this show, but I'm afraid because of the houseguests behavior this year, the show won't be picked up for broadcast next year. Some kind of penalty should be given to Dick for his tea-pouring and maybe he'd straighten up - or even QUIT!! In the beginning I kinda' liked him, but now I see him as a rude and crude guy who is putting up the fine fight at aging and losing.
As much as I don't want Jen in the house, I totally admire her constraint in dealing with Dick...
her refusal to react to his maniacle tirades is simply a way to actually turn the tables on him...
by not reacing, it further "gets under his skin" because he is not getting his satisfaction in seeing her upset....
For years, I have taught my kids to temper their reactions when someone is trying to "get their goat" & watch how much more they are effective than when they rant & rave back at the person.
The whole reason Dick does what he does is to rattle people & mess with their minds (he's said it himself).....Jen is NOT giving him the satisfaction he so badly wants.
This is the only time I will say this...YEA JEN!!!

I believe BB8 proves that mental illness is contagious.
It is not entertaining to see all the tears and angst. I don't think I have smiled much less laughed at any of the antics in a couple of weeks.
The show has so much filler, tears and lousey editing that it is hardly worth watching.
BB8 is crappy. At this point if it got cancelled like Pirate Master I would view it as a mercy killing.
I certainly enjoy Jackie's blogs and the comments and observations you guys post.
YOU guys are the only bright spot in this season.
This year's BB seems to be full of explosive personalities and those with untreated mental illness. My sister and I have joked that I could make a living just counseling them. ( I am a therapist ). But that I would surely end up going over into the edge to insanity. As these houseguests are either good actors worthy of Oscars or emotionally disturbed.
The only ones who have not exhibited signs that they need therapy were Mike, Carol, Jessica and Eric. It is almost like insanity is " In the Air". More likely, it is the stress of seclusion in the house exacerbating issues that these people had before entering the house.
I also agree that I hope BB learned a lesson. It is not a good idea to bring parents and children together to live in the BB house. As they have an Unfair Disadvantage as they are distracted by worrying about each other instead of playing the game. If they are going to bring in parents and children, then everyone's parents should be there to make it more even ground.
As far as Daniele drinking, I read on CBS that Dick gave his consent for alcohol to be served in her prescence. Not sure if that applies only as long as he remains in the house with her or for the length of the show. But regardless, I have not actually seen her drink anything alcoholic, so it might be a mute point so far. She did mention her bday was during the summer, but not exactly when, it is possible she turned 21 already and we're just not aware yet.
I teach in an alternative high school setting and I see plenty of students who act, or should I say react, like ED. They are all lost souls who do not fit in anywhere and try to bully their way into groups.
These students do not have the social skills and emotional ability to have a meaningful relationship with their peers. They have fallen through the cracks in regular school settings and are placed in our school to receive the one-on-one assistance that they need. Over time most of the students develop the life skills necessary to become productive members of society and several of them go on to post-secondary education.
Perhaps ED should consider going for some professional help so he can finally put his own demons to rest and move on with his life instead of holding on to a past that has not served him well.
I truly believe ED is an intelligent man but chooses to use his intellect to intimidate people. Please ED, grow up and stop being so crude.
I think BB is too busy trying to make a "twist" in the game that they fall short in casting. while I still love this show and will continue to watch. I like a few of the people left...but most just irritate me so much I have to roll my eyes most of the time thank you, Amber, Dick, Nick, Kail.....
If memory serves me correctly, Dick had no problem stepping down when Mike was probing him...and Dick thinks Dustin showed his true self by throwing the POV for a prize?...whatever! It just goes to show that if Dick does not get his way, he has a very hard time letting go of control. His comments and actions say it all. He is so far over the edge when he wishes ill on someone else. Karma has a way of biting you back bitch, be careful what you wish for "Dicky Boy"!!! What REAL woman would want him?
I hope that by Eric's hair being black, he does not adopt ED wicked behavior. There must be a salon in the house, but someone forgot to tell the HG the beauty operator is not licensed...from what I have seen so far from Jackie's video post, they're not pretty! I vote to evict Nick's new hair style.
Danielle drank I thought only the first night.. but after she told Nick she wasn't 20 she hasn't been shown drinking, I might be wrong when she told Nick she was 20 didn't she also imply she'd be 21 soon, I cant recall, maybe I was half asleep.. I hope we see some excitement soon I'm glad Jen stood her ground to Dick I used to like him but his constant edging on Jen and trying to be hip isnt cutting it for me anymore, Dick lighten up the house cause it seemed boring but now I'm beginning to wonder if Kail may have been right maybe the hg's feel uncomfortable.. to me its just weird the way he mouths off on a lady who isnt much older than his daughter honestly I couldnt see my dad acting like that and hes the same age.. I like Danielle but looks to me Dick is embarrassing her.
Wow! Does no one remember the bitter, disgusting and hateful things that the Howey group said and spat at the 'sheep', as they were so loathsomely called? To say that Dick has stepped over the line now is so bizarre when I remember so many people actually championing Howey's filth.
Just my 2 cents.
-Stacey
Sounds like ED would like to swing this vote to evict Kail, and keep Nick around as a sub-alliance with he and Daniele. Amber is probably the only one ED could talk into voting out Kail (cause she thinks Nick is her friend, despite lying to him and trash-talking behind his back). ED seems to have a plan each week, and then changes mid-stream. Is that strategy or ADHD?
I'm really not understanding how that scene with Jen benefits ED. What did he hope to accomplish? If it was just to cover up a secret alliance with Jen, he went way overboard. Now the LNC is fractured, and ED and Daniele seem a more obvious target.
Currently, I'm rooting for Jessica, Eric and Jen. But that could change on a dime. These people have serious issues. I thought I disliked the nerd herd, but then came BB8. These people are whack!
From watching ShoToo, recently (maybe last week) Daniele and Dick were discussing her birthday coming up in about 3 weeks. I remeber thinking at the time she ha an August birthday. I think there was also discussion about her not being a big drinker or liking beer.
And I agree with Nancy upthread. I don't see the tea pouring being a big deal. It's really being blown out of proportion IMO.
I like Dick, and still do. And surprisingly to me, Jen is growing me.
Diana
I went to cbs.com/bigbrother8 and at the very bottom clicked on the feedback link. There you can say you're making a comment or a complaint. I made the latter re: dick going too far, just to shake things up for him a little. Wanted to put it out there in case anyone else who is concerned, pissed off, etc.. wants to at least just voice it to cbs for the record.
I believe that Jen gets and deserves the crap given to her. Heck, this is who she is all about. However, and I mean a strong however, it is totally wrong for people in the house to vandalize her belongings or to throw a liquid on her. Where does ED get the right to act that way. I feel sorry for her and strongly believe what you see of him physically is what lurks inside. He needs anger management classes.
I believe that Jen is one of if not, the most colorful players in the BB house. Although totally self absorbed and self centered she is a gamer. She takes what she gives, is entertaining and for me lays it out each day in the house. What has Jessica and Jameka done? What did Mike do? All Amber does is cry. Nick is a spoiled brat and needs to go.
From now on, I will pull for Jen, not necessarily to win but to support what she brings to the game each and everyday.
I hope I am not the only one who feels this way.
GO JEN!
Sorry if someone already covered this. Daniele's 21st b-day is in August, which starts today, so she WILL be of age within 4 weeks or less.
Stacey....the difference is that we as the viewers liked Howie and his group. Viewers would never have turned on them and they actually revelled in the name calling the Nerd Herd received. Posters on CBS.com are up in arms about the incident. Amusing considering they've spent the last month calling the girls all kinds of horrible names. I guess when it suits their purposes it's not harrassment. When they decide they don't like Dick anymore than everyone wants to cry foul. Isn't hypocrisy wonderful?
If it wasn't for Jen and I dare say Dick, the game would be a bore. Keep Jen in the game.
Does any one know if Ericka from last season BB is still in casting and if so, did she have anything to do with picking this year's group?
Jackie, I appreciate your following the live feeds and your reports.
Every season, while I watch BB for the antics of the hgs, I also see that it can be rated as more of a social exeperiment in human behavior. That is something that appeals to me and also gives me a rationalization to follow the hgs every move. I think casting every year has had something that helped disspell prejudice, maybe to a small degree, but still some what. In the past the house gave fans a way to view a person as a person rather than only by appearances. I liked that part of the show. That made me ready to open my mind to accept Evil Dick, to see him as a sweetheart of a dad who was hurting for the loss of his daughter's approval. And it was working. I looked past the juvenile appearance and the bravado of name dropping and thought I saw a good guy. Now this other side of his personality erupts. I am coming around full circle to thinking he is giving a bad name to older, immature, tatooed, estranged fathers every where.
Thanks for the updates, Jackie, Sue
Saw Will Kirby and Mike Boogey on Dr. 90210 last night. Seems Dr. Will is the new doc on the show. Boogey is hanging on to his coat tails per usual.
Sue, Erica was on Housecalls and said she is doing casting for Survivor but did not mention BB.
Just curious, is Stacy related somehow to Dick? How can you defend someone's action such as this without enabling him? I must say I do not agree with you on this one.
I am a bit confused that someone would agree with what Dick did to Jen was alright. I have seen where people stand up for others and do more harm to the person than good, because they enable them to continue their unhealthy ways.
I had forgotten the mustard deed. That was scripted, to a degree at least, by BB. We know Eric was told to vandalize something. There isn't a big stretch from that kind of bullying and the tea thing. Different, I know, but BB was open to the mustard thing, which sets a precedent for Dick's dumping...which by the way, come to think of it, was better than a particular dumping episode in the past. Thanks for the Erica info, too. Sue

Who is Stacy?
~SMH
Sorry SMH, I should have stated post 7-31 1:16PM and then went on to write. It is signed Stacey.
Hope this clears the confusion.
Like Diana, I think the tea episode is being blown way out of proportion. What he did didn't surprise me. I had a coke dumped on my head once because of my big mouth and it pissed me off royally. After I calmed down, I realized I'd brought on the dumping myself. I certainly didn't consider it abuse of any kind. From day one, Jen has had a big mouth. I actually thought it kind of funny. And, it seems to me that Jen's reaction showed that she didn't think it was a big deal either. I'm tending to agree with Jackie's theory and thinking there's more to this than what we're hearing and seeing.
Let me just say that love them or hate them, both Dick and Jen are the only people in the house that are making things interesting. Sure it's very uncomfortable to watch at times but I agree that people are blowing things out of proportion a bit. There's nothing that justifies ED's vile behavior, but as mentioned above is it any worse then when "Hurricane" Howie was constantly harassing April during season 6? But of course that was okay because she was so hated, right? And as far as insults go last season both Jase and Mike Boogie called Janelle the c word multiple times, sure not to her face, but I honestly don't know what's worse. And as far as threats go Boogie even went as far as to say that he was going to throw urine in Janelle's face. Never happened obviously, but still a threat. The point is things like this or worse have happened throughout the history of BB, it's just right now people are all up in arms about it until it just goes away or people find someone else to hate and criticize. Honestly, what can you expect from a production that encouraged and rewarded their "America's Player," to vandalize another houseguests personal property for some extra cash?
Another odd thing about this whole situation is the fact that Jen almost seems to enjoy it in some sick twisted way. I'm not saying say deserves it but see almost eggs him on and never walks away, even following him around at times which just pisses him off even more. I think that as much as he's trying to get to her she's doing the same to him but just more effectively.
I think that everyone comes off looking bad in an incident like this, including the viewers. And yet we still watch...
I would say that Jen maybe deserved it if she were arguing with Dick, but she was arguing with Daniele. Not to mention that Dani specifically told Dick to stay out of it. Dick had no business involving himself, I don't care if Dani's his daughter or not!
As far as past seasons go, I didn't agree with Howie harassing April nor did I agree with the Nerd Herd harassment. I didn't like April or the sheep any more than I like Jen. Harassment and abuse is the same no matter who the abuser or victim is!
Sue said "...about Jen being robotic ... isn't her behavior classic for a long time abuse victim? Ignore the threat and don't give away the pain caused?"
That was very much my reaction to the previous post's video. I was severly abused in my childhood, and learned that you don't react. It only empowers the abuser. I'm more healthy now, but still, when I am attacked, I smile. When I'm nervous I giggle. Sometimes people think it's because I don't care. It's actually because I care too deeply.
So, please, don't judge Jen. You don't know why she is, what you consider, too calm.
Silk
I saw the tea dump live and my mouth hit the floor. I thought for sure Dick would be out when that happened. I never thought of what he did was asaulting her, he poured tea on her hair, and I think if it was in her face and threw the glass at her, that would of been it. And I thought what was even more strange was she never changed clothes. She couldn't get upstairs fast enough to tell the others what happened, and then when she said she was going to go change she marches around looking to stir it up again. Yes she lives there to, but she can't seem to leave it alone--going outside where Dick is and looking for Nick.
We need to reminds ourselves that this is a game, and it seems a bit staged to me too like Jackie mentioned. In the context of this game there will always be drama, high school drama to say the least. I not going to defend Dick's actions, but I'm waiting for he and Jen to have angry sex-- because there seems to be an attraction between them. Ya'll can all say ewwww now.
Jen is jealous of Daniele, has been since day 1. Daniele is a spoiled child, and she wants to be with Nick when she needs him, not the other way around. She cuddles with him, hugs him and kisses him. I agree with Dick: "If she were my GF I would be done with her with a capital D." Actions speak louder than words. Good for Jen for telling her to grow up.
I don't know why they keep insisting on back dooring people when Jen needed to go a long time ago. Thank you Dick for giving Jen the PoV and thank you Jameka for saving her.
Sue - Very well put! I'm glad you're doing okay now.
When I'm in that situation I tend to completely fly off the handle because I was teased so much as a kid. I don't take it very well and usually end up feeling like an a$$ when it's over. I've learned to control it since I became a mom, but that dragon is still in there...
XOXO
I was just having a nostalgic moment and thinking back to BB past. Who remembers the most boneheaded HOH move in the history of BB? I would say its when Howie got blinded by the boobies and put up James and Sarah for eviction instead of Maggie and Ivette. Can anyone top that one?
Rbennie
Rbennie - How bout when Marcellas was on the block and used the Veto to remove (was it April?) and he got evicted?
Plaidchic - "I not going to defend Dick's actions, but I'm waiting for he and Jen to have angry sex-- because there seems to be an attraction between them."
Something about the way Evel treats Jen has been bugging me and you pinpointed it!! I think he's VERY attracted to her and knows he doesn't have a chance. I'm watching a few YouTube! videos where he's attacking her and he sounds just like a guy who had a crush on me in high school. I didn't like him at all so he started a smear campaign against me! His attacks are very immature. I think he's the one who needs to grow up!
Jen can't get to Dick by attacking him directly so she decided to attack Daniele. I believe that she is aiming to get him thrown out and has found his weak spot.
JC
Quit crying that Dick did exactly what America would have done if they were there. ( I know I would have done it too)Jen has to go along with Kail. You get rid of Dick and there goes all the fun of the show. Can you say DUH !!! Do you people even watch BB and know what its about?
Well, sorry I have to follow the prior comment with this. Bad placement for my sentiments but...
I think the most interesting part of this show especially at times like this, are my fellow commenters. It's fascinating to see how many different views there can be on any given topic or twist in the game... as much as I enjoy everyone's lighter comments, wit, humor AND often their barbs, when an issue comes along that has real meat to it like this one, it's fascinating to see how many different points of view there are out there that I can agree with... or if I don't, that I can still usually understand. It's what sets this blog apart from so many others. Thanks to all for being more stimulating and intelligent than the show!
Dick's animosity towards Jen goes back to the butter competition where she said she didn't want him touching her. LMAO. Who would? Anyway, that bruised his male ego and since that time, he's hellbent on trying to break her down with all his hateful words and actions. He's a dickwad for sure.
I've liked Jen from the moment she threw that hissy fit about her picture. She might be self-involved, but at least she isn't a rageaholic asshole like Dick.
Oh, and the person claiming that Dick just did what everyone wanted him to do (pouring tea on her) is as hateful as Dick. Maybe you two can get together after the show...
Do they always put what has happened on the show in order? It sounds like the house finally got intresting after the Veto.
Colleen - I agree with you. I wouldn't have done that. As much as I might have wanted in on the argument, as soon as Dani asked me to back off I would have. Not to mention the fact that I would NEVER pour something on another person in anger! I may be blowing this out of proportion but he has no right to treat another human being that way! She may have said she didn't want him touching her, but that's her prerogative! I wouldn't want Zach touching me, does that mean he can berate me and dump tea on my head?
To Anon @ 2:27...
I am not condoning what Dick did, I am simply stating the fact that so many people loved Howie's revolting actions, but yet they take offense to what Dick has done.
Caroline at 1:51 was correct...
Isn't hypocrisy grand?
Peace.
-Stacey
To go and complain to CBS??? Are you serious? Everyone signs up for this show to see conflict, backstabbing and lies to get to the end. Ice tea on ones head is a reason to complain? I think your better off to turn off BB and watch PBS. For me, I don't think it was such a big issue and I enjoy seeing someone in the house who shows his dislike and doesn't do it behind their back. For people to be offended by this show, I have to ask... What on Earth did you think it would be like??? Sunshine and Rainbows? Lock anyone up in a house with strangers and many diverse personalities and watch as the fireworks go off. That is what this show is about... I love and enjoy watching what people will do next...
I agree with sydney, I enjoy all the comments everyone has on this blog. One thing is, don't forget these people on BB are not living in the real world. They are locked in a house (& a small yard), with no TV, radio, newspaper, books, spouses, work, pets, hobbies, friends, ....etc. They have to fill 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week, with being around each other, and some even on slop. It has been almost a month already and I am sure most of us would be acting crazy in similar situations.
I am not saying that the way any of them are behaving is OK, I am saying that you never know how any of us would behave in similar situations. The crazy part too is we all enjoy watching them!

Yup Deanna, I made a complaint. Got the idea from another poster on Jackie's last entry. I ain't lookin for rainbows etc. Just thought this was a little too far and decided to let cbs know. Whomever wants to can go there and tell them they love what's going on as well! There's room for everyone's opinion.
