Latest on TV Squad
Hey there! Head on over to my latest on TV Squad and make some noise! Er, polite yet engaging noise, please! :-)
I cover the quickie updates through the day here up through Joe's reaction to his nomination.

I have to share this, cause it’s too funny. Here’s what Jen said to Amber about the POV ceremony (and I’m paraphrasing, it’s not an exact quote):
Jen: Yeah, Nick came up today, and he’s like, you know, he's like such a nice guy, I just couldn't put him up. Even though our relationship might not be great right now, you like never know, we might get along better in the future...
Oh, JELUSIONAL!! LOL! But I give credit to Nick for not freaking out about his possible nomination and giving Jen just enough attention to turn her head (doesn’t take a lot.) In contrast to Joe who immediately went into panic mode and started badgering everybody “Am I going up? Is it me? Am I going up?” Ugh, hello!?! Have you never watched the show?
Take a page from the Dr Will handbook of chill: 1) act like you don’t care 2) stay under the radar 3) and work your fellow houseguests over like silly-putty (but never let ‘em see ya comin’)!
So I’d like to award Dr. Will chillpoints to Nick for grace under pressure, and to Mike for still being under the radar (and, yeah, for total hotness). Dick gets chillpoints for bringin’ the funny. Dustin gets about ½ point for charm. Joe and Zach are in the negative column. Eric’s at zero. He had a point for being a good sport, but he lost it for his foul mouth.
Nick's hotness factor went up when I watched his date with Augh-ber, the only time I've actually heard him speak at length.
I'd give Dustin another 1/2 point, I really like him, except that he picked Joe as a boyfriend and that he fell for Amber's early speech to him in the pantry---"my sister said I would totally be best friends with a gay guy on the show and you are it, like you and I are like, best friends ALREADY!"
And I give Eric a bit more negative. I'm sure he's a nice guy and all that, but I actually winc/recoil just a little when he's on air. I just have a little aversion to his mannerisms. I'd like to botox right over that one eyebrow that goes up every time he says anything, so it won't do it anymore.
PS: Jackie -- I went over and posted at TV Squad... want to support you as much as possible in your new gig so those folks will be blown away by your following!
Just wanted to let people know that Jedi Howie has added yet another BB phone call to the others that are listed on Ebay. All to benefit his goddaughter who has a brain tumor. You can bid on a call from: 1.Howie(15 mins) 2.Chilltown (Boogie & Will)(10 mins) 3.Kaysar (10 mins) 4.James (10 mins)
**Kaysar says that if his call goes for the most, he will make it a unlimited time phone call.
Howie is one of my Myspace friends and keeps posting bulletins about this stuff. Im passing it on for those who love BB as much as I do.
It's "plead his case" not "plea"...on your TV Squad post...thought you may want to know about typos for your big gig!! Thanks for keeping us up-to-date! We love your posts Jackie!!!
I'm perusing the BB8 videos on YouTube and made a couple of observations about a few of the players.
1) Something about Jen's look has been bothering me since day 1. I figured it out. She has a clueless "deer in the headlights" look ALL THE TIME!
2) Dick talks like a 15 year old Valley Girl. He says "like" almost as much as Jen and Jessica do.
3) Do we know what Dustin's voice really sounds like? He adopts accents frequently. Is there a reason for this?
Sometimes I wish I had the feeds, but then I realize I'd never get anything done. I'm already addicted to this Blog, I couldn't take 24/7 live feeds! ;-)
I am right there with you on this blog and the live feeds. I am constantly checking back to see what's new and who has commented but if I had the live feeds I would be in trouble. I have four children that argue over computer time as it is. Now I am in the mix and they don't like that mom wants her time on the computer.
Jackie, your blog keeps me hooked. I don't mind the spoilers because I can't wait to see how they spin it on the TV show.
I'm with you orkmommy--I don't have enough time in my day to get the live feeds, that's why I love Jackie(and everyone else). They keep me updated on the highlights of the live feeds. Thank goodness Joe is on the chopping block. Get him out this week and then Jen or Jessica!!!They are annoying and so clueless. Dustin seems like a nice guy...is there a dark side that is coming across on the live feeds or Showtime After Dark? I can't imagine Daniele would vote Dick out... too many jurors would hold that against her when it was time to vote. It's hard knowing how the POV went so much ahead of airdate. It makes to eviction ceremoney a long wait. I know I could just not read the spoilers but how much fun would that be??? I'm jealous, you NY viewers get to have a meet/greet-have fun. Gotta go the laundry is waiting......
Tessa- I check back a bunch of times a day too to see what people have added! I think it's really amazing that we're all hooked on this blog, not even just this show!
Orkmommy -- I do tivo the Shoo Too stuff but I don't have 3 hours a day to sit and watch them. THen they start to pile up. As soon as you are tempted to fast forward just a little, you know someone whispered one crucial line... 24/7 would be disasterous for me!

He is great, what a kindhearted soul. He has such class and dignity. I am not sure any contestants this year even come close to this man's integrity.
