Daniele hung in there for the HOH comp, but how will she handle her week in power?
So far, it seems that she'll be doing it with no real imagination. Her nominees are the same two who have been up the last two weeks, only the backdoor plan is different.
After the nominations ceremony, both Kail and Jen were taking it all too well. It's like a joke to the both of them now. Jen had even asked Daniele to put her on the block so she could go for a record.
Here are the other events through the evening hours and into the morn from that Big Brother House o' Bobbin' Betrayals:
- In small talk, the HG confirmed the stipend went back down to pre-All Stars levels. They're receiving the standard $750 a week for time spent in the house and in sequester. (All Stars got $2500 a week if memory serves.)
- Daniele talked with Jen -- told her that she might consider Kail her friend, but she can't trust her. She will "throw you under the bus" if she can.
- Jen again said what a great team they (her and Daniele) could make if they work together.
- Daniele told Jen that she would need to win the veto for herself as Kail is telling others not to use it.
- Eric told Dustin that Dick and Daniele were planning to backdoor "one of us."
- Amber voiced her doubts about a backdoor plan to Eric and he told her not to say a word about it to Daniele or Dick.
- Eric told Jameka that Dick and Daniele plan to backdoor either him or Dustin as revenge for Nick being voted out.
- Kail thinks both the mustard and the odd votes were Eric as he keeps saying he does his own thing. Earlier, Daniele told Kail that she knew the mustard and odd votes were done by the same person, but didn't specify by name.
- Kail thinks it was Eric doing the deeds, but Jen thinks it was Amber.
- Jen and Kail don't want Jameka or Zach to win veto as they'll let the noms remain the same.
- While the LNC is debating the value of taking Jen and Kail into their group, Jen and Kail are talking about allying with Daniele and Dick to take down the LNC.
- Kail and Jen are sure Dustin is working for Dick.
- Dustin, on the other hand, told Amber that Dick and Daniele want either him or Eric to go home this week via backdoor. He thinks that if Kail wins veto, she'll save Jen because she feels safe. He doesn't want either Jen or Kail to win POV because the noms have to remain the same.
- He also thinks there wouldn't be enough votes to get either himself or Eric evicted.
- On the Dick/Daniele side of life -- the plan is to save Jen and backdoor Eric. They'll work on everybody in the house to get it done. (Eeek, Eric!)
- Dick wants Daniele to get in good with Jessica for their cause.
- BB actually announced a lights out time for 2 AM ... not that it means anything, mind you. I always think the HG are night owls, but this crowd is really bad -- usually more than a few stay up past the time of sunrise there.
- Eric defended himself to Jessica. She questioned him about wanting Nick out. He said he always wanted him out and was very vocal about it.
- Eric is trying to get buzz going about putting Daniele and Dick on the block next week.
- Dustin reminded the LNC remainders that they were all in the room when Dick brought up getting Nick out in the first place -- now for him to blame them for losing Nick...!
- Jessica thinks that Daniele and Dick think the only way to get one of them out (LNC) is to backdoor them, but they also think there would be enough votes to save Kail against one of them. They could be very wrong.
- Jessica wants to get HOH and also wants the LNC to know she's not getting in an alliance with "them."
- Eric thinks Daniele is the sneakiest person in the house. (I think he is!)
- Amber and Eric stayed up talking about the events of the day.
- Players were picked for POV early once again. In addition to Daniele, Jen, and Kail, there will be Zach, Jameka, and Dustin playing. Jameka is playing for Kail as per the pick, but hasn't said she would use it.

I wonder if BB will try to discourge the HG if Eric gets nominated. They would loose their twist in the game. Or would they ask another HG to do it? Hopefully the nominations stay the same & Kail goes home this week.

I will be curious to see the difficulty of the Veto Comp BB puts together, since they know if anyone wins it, America's Player could be on the block. And will Eric's name get called to play in this one? Will Kail throw it because of her over confidence? Thanks for the update, Jackie. Your head must be spinning, mine is just from reading. Dick wants his daughter to cultivate a friendship to help out their cause? hmmmm, another great parenting tip from Evil. But then, it is all just a game, right? Sue
I would like to see Jen pull Jameka's ball this time....again. I would love to see the expression on Jam's face.
Seriously though, has Eric participated in PoV yet? He needs this real bad.
Why can't they "backdoor" Amber?? She is getting on my nerves. I have no sympathy for her....at all. It is becoming comical at this point.
How is everyone here going to vote tomorrow night? I don't think Eric stands a chance to be heard by Dick and Daniele, but maybe he can get the others to vote "his" *wink wink* way.

I have been reading comments and I see people write that 'if I were in the house' they would tell Dick this or Amber that. That made me think what would I say to each hg if I could give them each only a few words...enough to fit on a banner maybe.
Amber: I love you soooo much, (I should grab her leg as we speak)please stop putting yourself through all this misery and ask to be released from the house.
Daniele: Think for yourself. You don't need your dad or a boyfriend telling you how to play the game.
Eric: Spin that web of lies and get rid of Dick to protect yourself.
Dick: Have you tried Yoga? Maybe a nice shower, deep breathing exercises, green tea?

This has to be the worst BB cast of all time. There are simply no redeeming qualities in any of the players. This season certainly jumps the shark for me.
You haven't posted it yet but Jameka was pulled by Kail for POV. She doesn't seem to have the same, God told me to win, attitude this week for Kail as she had for Jen though, interesting.
As much as we hate Amber they all seem to feel bad for her so back dooring her doesn't seem like a option we will see.
I feel Eric has done a good job deflecting the stray vote yet again away from himself. He even has Dick doubting himself. Eric should say that whoever the stray vote is it is a reminder that we should be voting Kail out, like they say they will every week!
Love to see Jessica as next HOH, she is the ray of hope in the cloudy, dismal summer of BB.
Just got access to the computer and was able to send a shout out to Jackie! I am back in PA after a week inCooperstown NY, was only able to see on TV Nick leaving...dont know about that mohawk, have to read back and see what caused that?
Glad Daniele won the HOH, but really....the choices...those gals still stay...and I hope one of them goes, preferably..hmm..both of them??? Can we have a dual ???

Delee, my son lives in State College and works at Penn State. My sister and I also graduated from Penn State and my father worked there for a while. In fact, we just sold my parents' home there ( they both passed away a few years ago)
I agree with those who say it is hard to find a favorite among the houseguests this year. For some reason, all of them are rather unlikeable, immature, and not too bright.

I think I missed something. Reading Jackie's post you talk about Jessica/Eric making up. What did they fight about?? I hope she is sincere about a reconciliation because that could be Eric's only hope of staying in the house. It sounds like Dick/Dani are no longer part of the LNC. That leaves Amber,Dustin,Jess, Eric,and Jameka.? As for POV I think they only people playing that would use it would be Jen/Kail/Daniele(so she can backdoor). Jameka has stated earlier that she would never use the veto again(more direction from the big guy). BB producers need to compensate Eric if he is voted out because of the banner!! Most of the HG did not listen to Dick about his suspicions(sp)of Eric until they saw it. I think the house doesn't thinks Amber is capable of anything but crying so they ignored that her name was also on the banner. It would be funny to see Zach get HOH--all of the sudden he would become everyone's best friend. Lots of interesting theories about Dick/Jen knowing each other because of the bar connection. I agree--they could be another twist to the whole game--because I don't know how ANYONE could sit back and take the crap that Dick has given her. I know he adds entertainment to viewing but I am ready for him to go. He is just too mean-spirited to everyone!! I know that's his gameplan but it's getting old. It's time for the girls to unite and pick those boys off one-by-one.JMHO Is today the POV comp.?

As much as we all seem to dislike Amber and her weeping,the hamsters don't seem to see it our way at all. Dustin and Eric AND Jam all run to her side almost every time anything upsets her,like the sun coming up,somebody breathing to loud or looking at her the wrong way! So I guess it would be futile of us to ask Eric to get her on the block. If she wails her way all the way to the end,I will be furious,but maybe she will never win,I would never vote for her to win,but this group is a starnge lot indeed.
I won't care if Eric goes on the block or even if he gets ousted. I think this AP is a great big joke. The tasks,for the most part have been stupid,and having him vote for a certain player has not had any impact on the game,whatsoever,unless it gets him kicked out. I'd say it's back to the drawing board for the producers for a different twist,cause this one sucked,big time! Maybe if they had had a different group of hamsters,because this group has to rank as my all time least favorites.
Oh,and I do have to say,I think Dani has acted very mature and sensible in her stint as HOH so far. I'd love to see ED go,as I think it is hurting her in the game a lot. I'd much rather see her stay than him,the other two who had their "others" ousted have been able to play their game a whole lot easier without them in the game.

However, very few people take the extra 30 seconds it takes to reread their posts and edit them so that they make sense. I cherish all of your opinions, but I have such a hard time reading the ones that are rambling and misspelled.
Please, everyone, if you really want to share, just take a moment to reread your comment to make sure that it makes sense.
Now that I've left that general post, on to my opinion.
I have never watch Big Brotehr before, and I can't say I'd be watching it now if it weren't for ShowtimeToo. Getting this kind of insight into what the HGs are going through has made all of the difference for me. I hate the traditional "reality" game show, where all of the interesting things are left on the cutting room floor to make way for stupid gameplay and exposition.
That being said, I am completely over ED, Daniele, Kail, Zach, and Jen. They are too wrapped up in gameplay to have gotten to actually know and relate to their fellow HGs. It's this that makes me cheer for Eric, Jess, Amber, Jameka, and Dustin.
Similarly, I can't help but feel that a lot of viewers have forgotten that these are real people (I'm looking at you, Amber-haters), and you can like or dislike that, but they don't choose their personalities to entertain you. The only people whose personalities seem to be total constructs are Dick and Jen. Either they need to break down and get real, or get the heck out.
LNC...i'm not figuring out that acronym ~~ someone, anyone, please?

I really hope Eric is able to wiggle his way out of the tricky situation he's in right now. How unfair would it be for him to go because of some stupid banner? I could see it if his acting was just so bad that people started being suspicious of his, but he had them all totally fooled. As with many of you I am so over Dick. Last week I wanted him to win the game, this week I want him gone, and he can take his whinny daughter with him.

This is what bothers me about Dick. He is quick to say to the outed houseguest - such as Nick - you made many mistakes when I watch him losing focus. First, he had his sites set on Kail until Mike got to him emotionally - suddenly Mike is gone. Next, it was Zach - till Nick got to close to his daughter and in my opinion. made a grandstanding father move to protect her. To me, he is not a good player as he appears to be very short sited with no real plan in mind other than to be mean. Definitely not ChillTown material. He may have study Dr. Will, but I don't recall Dr. Will making his moves for eviction on emotional reactions.
I'm with many others - this group is not very likable especially those that have "studied" the game - aka Kail, Dick.
As far as future games - personally, I would like to see a 40something vs 20something season - even though it is my opinion Dick and Kail are overthinking the game - I still like having a wider gap in age this time.... or maybe even militiary/civilian mix in the house.

The problem I have with Ed is that he do not let the other players be able to play their game. He do not want anybody talking because he think they are strategizing or forming an alliance. But he can go around and dictate what people should do. That makes it a one-sided show. They are not there for Ed or Dani to win the money they are there for them. He needs to get real.
Or the houseguests need to get some balls and get something going against him. Or at least not let him dominate them or their game moving forward. He may be keeping the "entertainment" going for some, but to me, his energy has long ago became a stagnating, almost paralyzing force in the game. Stronger players around him would be coming up with ways to get at him by now.
Anon 9:01: I don't know for sure but based on a ShoToo conversation between Kail & Jen I got the feeling Kail pulled the houseguest's choice ball and chose Jameka. So Jameka wasn't actually chosen by God for Kail, she was chosen by Kail herself and it's not the same. Again, I don't know this for sure but that is the way it sounded from the conversation.
can somebody clear up who exactly makes up the LNC now? it sounds like it's eric and that group, but it used to be dick, etc. i'm kind of confused by the jessica doesn't want the LNC to think she's joining their alliance. i'm just wondering exactly who that is in this case. also, any news on which side zach is on now? last i heard he was with dick and daniele. jen and kail may have a better chance teaming up with dick and daniele, but if i were them i'd pretend to join them and them kick them out since dick was so mean to them. i still like dick and daniele, i'm just saying....i tend to be rooting for eric, jessica, jameka...but i want them to drop amber:)
