Sigh. Again, it's been on the uneventful side in the house. It goes from explosion and vote-switching to the doldrums day by day this season.
Here's what's happened since I last reported from inside that Big Brother House of Calm Winds:
- Zach and Evel Dick had a fight about Eric and his responsibility for saving Dick in the game. Evel ended up apologizing. Zach seemed okay with it, but I don't think he'll forget how quickly Dick can go off.
- Jen told Jameka she's never gone this long without a massage before.
- Jen found more of her stuff which had been hidden by Dick.
- The HG were on an extended indoor lockdown and don't know why. Nothing seemed to change in the yard upon their return.
- Jen continues to eat and now seems resigned to the fact that she'll be voted out on Thursday although still balking at going to the sequester house.
- Jameka and Jen both worked on packing some of their things in preparation for the show.
- Amber asked Zach and Evel Dick if they've masturbated in the house. Both said no. Amber and Zach said Dustin did four times. Dick finds it odd they know such things.
- Amber told Jameka she's depressed.
- Amber thanked God for letting her be on the game show and see her cousin. (Perhaps her cousin was the back-up person they use? Not sure of the terminology they use for the "helper" if the contestant gets stuck.)
- Dick is angry that Daniele made a deal with Amber. They fight ... again.
- Jameka is looking forward to getting off of slop Thursday night.
- Daniele hates being there. (A huge surprise, eh?)
- Jameka cried and prayed.
- Amber and Daniele talked forever (still as I post this) in the HOH room.
- Daniele reminisced about Nick ... way too much, methinks.

Contestants on Power of 10 seem to have a family member sitting on the side that they can check with at each step of the game.
I guess Amber's was her cousin.
I'm looking forward to seeing that episode. Maybe Daniele's was her brother or grandma.

Thanks Jackie and YOU DESERVE A MEDAL!! I can't even begin to imagine listening to an all night chatfest with Daniele and Amber. With Daniele's voice and whining and Amber's mannerisms and -- dare I say it -- crying, I would go crazy and/or find some way to break the rules and get out of town!
Sigh. I just love these houseguests...not. And yet, I watch...

Dick is right that Daniele follows a pattern (at least in the house, I wouldn't know about prior to house, but that was what Dick was saying). She seemed very pleased with herself after getting the message out to Amber that she wants Dick gone, but doesn't want to do it herself since he is helpful to her strategically. What a girl! Actually their ( D&D) fights sound like what many 16 year olds have with their 'rents. I don't know why Jameka is sobbing, except emotional release? Sue
I agree that now,Jen is doing all she can to get extra minutes added to her 15.And,I think she is trying to get booted off the show completely,so she can get out of going to sequester and get back to her life. Why would she want to go to another house and be treated the way she has in the one she just left? And,would she not be remembered as the girl who got kicked off BB? Do you think these people will be any nicer in sequester,knowing they are all out of the running for the big money? Probably not! Go on,Jen.....EAT!
I'd really like to pull for Zach now,but if he's stepping on dick's toes(no more will he be ED,just what he is......a dick),Zach will be in the crosshairs if the dastardly duo get power again this week. And if,by any wild chance,Wahmber should win HOH,I hope she holds true to her plan,IF she can remember what she even planned to do.LOL

I think Dick is good TV, at least BB TV, but he doies wear on me. Zach seems like a good guy.

Has Dani turned on Dick already?...I guess she figures she's got Amber in her pocket and this is the time to move once Jen is gone tonight. What a daughter...if she is for real about getting Dick out now I doubt a BB summer will do much ultimately for their future relationship. As for Dick, as ye sow...Dani is not a nice person and Dick seems pretty volatile and unpleasant...but I think Dani is making a mistake to dump him until the bitter end...and it will be bitter for us fans this summer with such a house full of duds. Thanks Jackie...you're the best...can't wait for your recap tonight.
So sorry to hear we have to wait until January for Amazing Race to return...at least we'll have Survivor. Cast looks good so far...thanks Jackie for the info.
I have noticed that a lot of people complain about floaters and how that they should not win, but isn't floating a strategy? I have only watched the show for the last 3 seasons so i may be a little naive but it seems like going through not pissing people off, getting along with as many people as possible and not putting a target on your back seems like pretty good stategy to me. Waiting for the right moment to make your move seems like smart gameplay especially if you have some groups that are constantly going at each other, stay out of the way and clean up the mess. If the way ED is playing is considered strategy then floating to stay out of his way has got to be strategy also.
I was pulling for Jameka, ED, Kail and Zach in the begining. Now i can hardly stand to hear ED say word because of all the foul language he uses, Jameka will probably be out within two weeks (hope not),Kail messed herself up, but Zach could actually win if he wins HOH and backdoors ED or Dani preferably ED and then ally himself with Dani, amber and Jameka to breakup Eric and Jessica.

ED never went at it with any of the bigger men, just the women and smaller men. When Jameka gave it back to him he kind of backed off her a bit.

I'm catching up on Joker's from last night (after midnight) and I'm reading the argument between Dani & Dick.
He's mad because he took her off the block with the Veto and she didn't include him in her deal with Amber. He then tells her she's selfish and she kicks him out of her HOH room. She actually said "I didn't ask to be born".
This proves how selfish and immature she is! I used to yell the same thing at my parents when I was in high school...then I'd slam my bedroom door in their face. (yes, I admit...I was a brat...barbwire can attest to that fact!)
I hope the other HG's can get her out soon. I'd really like to see far how Dick's bullying ways can get him (this does not mean I like him), but he has to know that Dani is turning on him and he needs to get her out!

Still catching up on Joker's. This strikes me as odd.
Dani asked Amber what she's looking forward to after she gets home. She said "family, trips, get away. see sister, daughter and niece". Now, I have a 4yr old daughter and she would be at the TOP of my list of things I'd look forward to without even thinking about it! I miss her when she spends the night at grandma's house! I feel so sorry for Amber's poor little girl!

Now Dani asked Amber if she misses the people she works with and she said yes. Then she goes on about how much she misses her dog!! She doesn't even mention her daughter AT ALL!! Who let her be a mother?
I think Dani is being nice to amber on the off chance that amber wins hoh. she would be crazy to go against ed, the one person who will never nominate her. Dani does act like a little brat tho, so who knows.
with all of Dani's reminiscing (sp?) about Nick...do you think he could of been her "helper" on the Power of Ten?

I had not thought of it, but yes, definitely, it would fit with the show to have Nick on Power of 10 with Dani. Except, he knows about Eric, so they couldn't have any talk time. Dick said (and who knows if it is true, just something he spouted one time) she doesn't talk to her Grandma, Mother, brother or father, and she doesn't know about the bf back home,so, maybe Nick would be the only one she hasn't shut out yet. If it were true, it would boost ratings for the Power show. Sue
I have to make it clear that it was my take on the HOH talk between Amber and Daniele that she was trying to get the word out that she wants Dick gone. I, too, agree she needs him for a vote, but she knows she needs a vote on the Jury, too. Boogie and Will were always trying to fill the jury with votes and it would serve Daniele (in her mind) to get her dad out and to insure she had a jury vote, and not have him go far enough that she had to share the money with him. It is also important to her (imo) that someone else votes him out, or she has a darn good reason (rationale) to do it herself. It would be much better for her to have someone else do it so she can play the innocent and keep him voting for her. Personally, I hope she serves on the jury long before her dad, though. Again, just my opinion. Sue

Sadly, I don't think he could hurt his daughter and get her out, but I can clearly see her putting the knife into his back. IMO, I can see that Dick may not be the best father and has probably made some mistakes through the years, but his love for her is obvious. I think a lot of their real life problems is her doing as well. She seems to be a very immature brat. Dick's son appears to be very close to his dad without the same problems, but then again he is a bit older and maybe more mature than Daniele. This is just my observation...
Did anyone catch Amber praying (again) last night on After Dark? OMG, this girl makes me cringe each time. I just cannot believe that she would broadcast something that is so personal, but then again, I think it is her own personal show she puts on for America. Dick has his morning rants in the backyard & Amber has her "I love you God" prayers...
As for Daniele, I think she still talks to her grandmother, but not her brother. Maybe her Power of 10 person was her BF, Lindsey (i think thats her name) She says she is like her family. I really am hoping that Daniele does NOT make it to the finals, because I think she is a very selfish and self centered twit. I'm hoping for a Dick & Zack final two...

That is the best BB news I've heard in weeks! If Dani pulls that off I will have respect for her for the first time.
Dick deserves zero loyalty from Dani or anyone else in this house. His constant self absorbed idiocies, his lies, his hypocrisy, his diatribes, his sadism...if it wasn't for his daughter winning so many comps he would have been out a long time ago. He not only rides on her coattails he prances around bullying and threatening people every time she wins HOH like he is HOH. She has even called him on it and he still does it!
Don't get me wrong. I have never cared for Dani and I despise her father. But she is the better player. He is an abusive misogynist and he not only deserves to go but going like this would be even sweeter payback karma than if his worst enemy Jen had been able to evict him!
I'm not going to hold my breath that Amber will get HOH and pull this off but just thinking about that it might happen has brightened my day!

It would serve Dick right to have his ouster manipulated by Dani...but I think he does love her and would certainly vote for her to win...but would she share any of her winnings with with dear of dad...methinks not. Chauncey...I have been watching from season two and have never wanted a "floater" to win...until this year. In the past I preferred the active yet nice players. But this year I would agree that floating is a good strategy in a house full of nut cases. I hope Jessica, Jameka or Zach are able to hang on. They are, to me, the most likable people in the house. Jen and Dani and two sides of the same coin...narcissists, Dick is a dick, and I can't warm up to Mr. America...he is so impressed with himself and for the life of me I can't figure out why. And Amber, she is in a class by herself...a dimwit who appears to have fried whatever brain she had. I feel for her poor child. Seriously, I hope someone in her world sees that this woman needs serious help and makes sure she gets it. With a smile on her face she could even be pretty...but always with the downturned eyes and mouth and crying...Yikes!

I think it's only a matter of time before Eric/Jess and Dick/Dani turn on each other. If the others were smart they would team up and let them go at it. I hope Amber or Zach wins HOH for the first time. I know Amber's a long shot but who knows maybe they will tailor a comp for her. I of course have no idea what kind of comp that would be LOL.

Yep Daniele is sucking up to Amber on the chance that she might win HoH tonight, so either they'll throw it to her, BB or the HG's, Eric doesn't want it, neither does Zach, Jameka and Daniele can't play, and Jessica and Dick do.
Jen is not the first person to walk out on the game, this late maybe, but not the first-- Scott from BB4 who he either decided to leave or got kicked out, I don't remember.

Here's my intake Dani is attempting to use reserve psychology on WahAmber in regards to perhaps backdoor`ing Dick next week if Amber win's HOH however; in Amber's mind, its giving her the green light to evict either one of them, I'm incline to believe if Amber does get HOH, Dani or Dick will follow Jen, that's if Jen is actually sent to sequester.
Dan you just imagine Amber winning HOH and Julie telling her "Now you must nominate two people immediately"?! She is so unhinged she would probably say the first two names that came to mind(

You know I'll be reading this blog during BB(although I am going to try the website Plaidchick gave me to watch it on East Coast time). I can't wait for it to air here on the west coast!!
Looks like Jen will be leaving. What I don't understand though is why the other HGs are being so vicious to her. ED has treated them all much, much worse then anything Jen has done. I just don't get how ED can behave that way and have no repercussions.

Hey Jackie and gang~ I was just going through my TIVO and I saw that there is an episode scheduled for SATURDAY 9/1 and the info says that a houseguest must leave the house. So, it seems like next week may be a double eviction!! It's getting interesting!!

Nana, I'm with you...Amber isn't going to remember a thing under pressure, she might nominate herself. In fact, at this point, she has herself on such a build-up to be HOH that it's just not going to happen, too much pressure. She'll probably cry all the way through the comp.

Such an angry, bitter girl,it's a shame, but it is her choice. I bet they all tried to make ammends, as Dick has tried doing, and she's just an attention seeking victim, who will never let any of them off the hook....it will go on forever. Maybe Dani and Amber had to face off on Power of 10, and Amber was the one who got to play.

I only caught the first 1 1/2 hour on Showtime last nite and it seemed the producers would not give any camera time to Jen. When she was talking to Amber & Jameka they would cut back and forth between those two but not Jen.Did anyone else pick up on this?
Family members and I were having a discussion ( we enjoy speaking about Reality shows quite often LOL ) in our discussion we agreed; if Amber -Jameka are being set aside; viewed upon as non threatening, weak competitors due to lack of " knowledge " or simply because Jameka is unable to compete in HOH comp, those two could very well creep up into being in the final three, rightly I'll add with all the bickering, raging rants, behavioral antic's amongst D & D, Eric? Is what could very well turn out to be their very own blindsided outing demise. This isn't what I'd call great strategically players tactical moves at all, This is a game, not house of mending and repairing stressful relationships IMO it's identifying themselves similar to how ED has described Jen; Perhaps Dani's own reflected self - absorbed image of Jen while looking into mirror, its a wonder why ED couldn't control himself while in Jen's presence. Therefore perhaps had flashbacks of Danielle Hahaha -- Although Only IMHPO Danielle's behavior is POLARIZED more so than Jen's ( Dani's Hide's behind whom she really by learned polarized ) whether its behind people she tends to use, better yet hides behind pair of sunglasses so your unable to see underline deception; with all bright colors her true colors eventually are revealed after or prior she's gotten her way ) I've written previously Danielle's attitude IMO is definitely NOT of an individual who has lacked various luxuries, nor does it exhibit an attitude of someone who's struggled to make ends meet, otherwise I hardly doubt she'd be sporting four hundred dollar True Religion Brand Jeans Women's ' Joey ' Society Club Denim- Wild Oats, My daughter wear's True Religion though she general opts for less than 150 a pair ( which she says are a good price ) Jameka and Amber whether their actions are fake or not , do appear grateful for what they've been given, though Jameka most. I just don't buy Danielle's pity poor me act which is immature at its best. Perhaps Jen didn't need the money but at least she didn't appear to have greed with a vengeance displayed throughout her face! Oh what the Heck Why not have Amber finally be HOH!Wait I'm got one more thing to add; I rather cast Jen in a show as opposed to any of the other HG's, heck even if it's for a thriller video!
