And Amber cried.
There. That's today's update.
;-)
Here are the happenings from that Big Brother House of Love:
- Early this morning, Jessica asked Eric if he celebrates Thanksgiving. Well, he's Jewish, you know. (Thumping my head on my keyboard.)
- Jessica also thinks you should never fight a black girl because they're crazy.
- Then she admitted she never talked to a black person.
- Dustin told her he daily talks with more folks of diversity than white people.
- Eric thinks a few hundred, maybe a few thousand, live feed watchers stay up during the night to watch them.
- Kail told Jen that if Eric goes on the block with her, she'll probably go home. Jen told her that people were just saying Eric had the vote to make him feel better.
- Jen told her that she (Jen) said too much last night. She admitted to Kail that she told people (D&D) that Eric was never in an alliance with Kail.
- Jen told Kail that she thinks Eric mustarded her shirt to set up Dick.
- Kail felt bad for Eric when Evel was "calling him out." (I'd call it raging on him!)
- Kail doesn't think Eric is working with anyone, but feels that since he has watched all the reality shows, he must be aligned with someone. (Yeah, America's Silliness.)
- Kail can't understand why Evel turned so quickly and radically against Eric.
- When Kail told Jen that Dustin told her that Zach would have to go on the block for her to be safe, Jen told her that wasn't going to happen.
- Jen told Dustin that she can't see why Daniele doesn't see that the best person for her to put on the block would be Dick.
- Dustin pushed the Daniele lied to Kail Card (because she said Kail would go on the block, but not home) in an effort to get her to nominate Zach instead of Eric. (Y'see, it's all good for Dustin if Kail stays. He's the leak!)
- Jen said, "If everyone fun leaves, what's the point of being here?" (Um... a half-million dollars maybe?)
- Daniele told Dick that she's worried that putting Eric on the block will come back to haunt her, but she doesn't see any way out of it.
- Amber told Jessica that Jewish people are all money hungry. @@ She also said nasty things about New Yorkers. Double @@
- Dick told Kail that if he doesn't get HOH this week, he's sure to be on the block. He also hinted there were others he wants out more than he wants her out.
- Jameka gave her word to Eric that she'll vote Kail out to keep him in the house. Well, we know that's a sure vote!
- Then the POV Meeting went down -- results are that Jen removed herself from the block and Daniele put Eric in her place. (So much for a huge surprise!)
- Dustin told Zach (right after Daniele worried where Zach was) that the votes will have Kail go home this week. Zach appreciated the heads-up, but is in a quandary between voting for someone who hasn't had a conversation with him ever (Eric) or someone who betrayed him (Kail). He told Dustin he was still thinking and hadn't made up his mind. He also told Dustin that he had said the same to Dick. He also has to consider his dedication to finding Nick's killer... er, you know!
- Amber gets nervous when Jessica sees her and Eric talking. She probably cries about it later on.

So Daniele promised Kail that if Kail gave up on the HOH competition, Daniele wouldn't send her home. Then the very next thing Daniele did was, yes, nominate Kail for eviction.
I'd point out that this is the most dishonest thing anyone in the house has done yet, if I didn't think it would cause Dick to drive to my house and scream at me.
Love your comments Jackie!!!
Only one question/correction - In Jen's situation it would only be two hundred fifty thousand reasons to keep playing - right?
Kail knew she was probably going to be a pawn again. Daniele only said she wouldn't send her home. What's dishonest about that? Kail's still there.
The most disturbing thing that happened on the overnight feeds was a brief joke by Eric that many felt seriously crossed the lines and bounds of decency. He said to Dustin and Jess that he was wondering if Dick and Daniele would have Sex in Sequester. I was totally appalled and disgusted.
Some defend it as a joke but I real sensitive about this being that I have worked as a therapist but joking about incest is so wrong on so many levels. Joke or not, Eric is no longer one of my favorites.
Dustin is a dust rag, dust ball, dust pan..he has got to go. And Amber right with him.
I cannot believe I am saying this but I am liking Jenn and Zack more than the rest of the bunch. Zack and Jen are the ones playing the game without emotional and thinking strategy.
The rest are going way out of bounds and way out of line with either their words, their behavior and their personal attacks.
Daniele told Kail she would put her up (while they were hanging there), but she wouldn't be the target.
Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.......It's definitely getting more interesting!
Anon @ 8:12-- did you watch BB6-- the most dishonest thing was when Jennifer told Kaysar "I will not put you up." And turned around and did.
I don't think Daniele's nominating Kail was the most dishonest. She worded it perfectly-- you won't be going home. And as she said, her target was never Jen and Kail-- it's been Eric all along. Kail could of hung on but she chose to be a pawn-- again. I think this time it will back fire. It's not Wednesday yet, get your waffle makers out, so I could be wrong, but D&D don't have it completely right, so send the next banner plane to shut them all up. Someone send a Banner: DUSTIN IS THE LEAK

That's the first time I've heard it referred to as a joke.He said he "wondered", not I've got a joke for you. Was threatening to use Amber's past against her (if he needed to) a joke, too? He's desparate AND disgusting!
Wait I may be wrong on the most dishonest thing... I didn't come on board until BB3..
Didn't Will tell the HG's he had cancer in BB2?
How soon people forget all the things Zach said and did early on that got him where he is now...friendless. He was a complete ass and he blew it. He said disparaging remarks about women and was rude. Now that he's friendless and has less to say...now people "love" him more. Yeah, as long as he doesn't open his big rude mouth.
Kail took the risk of going home by agreeing to be a pawn. By now she knows things flip-flop by the hour in that house and
Dani could only say she wasn't HER target. Kail knew that even when Dani
said "you will not go home" she couldn't guarantee that. If she didn't then she deserves to go home because she doesn't know the game at all.
joy n--you said it! The problem is that they are all flies caught in the oh
so tangled web;although Dick, Dustin, and Eric all
think they are the spider!!

Amber is a disappointment--she's just A BIGOT. Plain & simple. I was never impressed w/her up until now, but jeez...the ignorance that comes out of the mouths of some of these people. They'll reach age 30 and be blithering idiots.
SMART: Eric (actully impressive), Jen, and Dustin (sorta)
NOT-SO-SMART: E.D., Daniele, & Kail.
WELL BELOW AVERAGE: The remainders.
While Eric telling Jessica about Amber's 2 real abortions and 2 fake abortions (to upset her current boyfriend) was a sick conversation, Amber probably should have thought twice about disclosing this type of information WITH LOTS OF PEOPLE WATCHING AND LISTENING. All Eric did was repeat what he was told in confidence which is what they all do to each other. That information was simply more vile and damaging personally than most of the other information that others reveal in secrecy then tattle to someone else about. Maybe Amber should learn to keep her personal information to herself.
I didn't hear the comment about Dani and Dick that Eric made, however I have heard dick call most of the women effing bitches and threatening them on a daily basis which means it's a pattern of behavior with him. I've seen him dump tea on someone's head and toss furniture and clothes and pillows and whatnot when he takes his hourly hissy fits. Eric's statement was uncalled for, but it's Dick who continues to prove he's a scumbag loser.
I used to like Danielle, but has anyone noticed how she is always WHINING about how others talk to her? She doesn't like how anyone speaks to her, she is always feeling like people are talking down to her like she's some sort of rocket scientist. Enough with the whining about how others talk to you. If you don't like how someone speaks to you, STOP the conversation and tell the person you don't like how they are speaking to you. Don't whine about it for hours afterwards. Geez
To grow in life is to do better when you know better, to learn from mistakes and evolve. So I sincerely hope that Eric sees how hurtful it would be to use the incredibly personal information he has about Amber to turn people against her for a game(preferably before he does it and not in retrospect). And I hope Amber recognizes how small-minded it is to make judgements based on stereotypes.
Maybe I'm becoming numb to Dick's tirades, but those comments by Eric and Amber in the last 24 hrs have offended me more deeply than any of Dick's nastiness so far.
I hope Jessica's reaction to Eric's comments is a mirror that helps him see his behavior in a different light (we all need our friends to be that mirror sometimes). And I hope Jameka continues to counsel Amber about how hurtful and wrong stereotypes are (with maybe a little more meaning than just warning her about how it will look to others).
Actually for me, it was the way Eric approached Jessica with his info on Amber. He said he knew something that he could use against Amber later and then told Jessica what it was. After telling her, Jessica said something to the effect of, you can't use that against Amber. Eric then backtracked and said he wouldn't, but it's there if needed (not word for word, but the jist of the convo). His remark about D&D was beyond gross though, and I'm not claiming him as "my player". In the hot seat, Eric is a foul person.
I can't think of anything more scumbag-like than Eric making such a perverse statement about a father and daughter involving incest that just came off the top of his head, and for what purpose? To "help" him somehow score points towards winning a game. Thank God Jessica has the moral compass that Eric lacks. ED has made some dumb statements but none came anywhere near the crassness of Eric's foul remark. There is NO defense for his mean-spirited, sick desparation. He should be totally ashamed of himself.
AMBER volunteered this "personal" information -- along w/ meth addict, crawled out of the bathtub full on naked etc.... She's outed herself in every way possible, knowing any/all info can be used against you...
I saw the whole thing today from the SHo Too feeds and I got a very different feel for it.
The context in which Eric disclosed this and how he did made a big difference for me. He was privately talking to Jessica in the WO room, purposely in the furthest corner from the door so no one would hear them. She is his most trusted friend. They were mending the rift in her trust (due the banner and ED/Dani talking to her. Talking strategy as a team, they went thru each person in the house. When they got to Amber, Eric referred to that story. Jess asked what was that.
Eric did anything but blurt it out carelessly or in a total gossip mode. After saying Amber had told him something very personal, at least twice he gave Jess the opportunity to say she didn't want to hear it. He said I will tell you if you will absolutely not repeat it. She said yes right away, then he paused, got eye contact with her, and asked again if she's be OK hearing it. He said he didn't care but told Amber he wouldn't repeat it. She said go ahead again.
After the details, Eric says, "It shows a little bit who her true self really is". Jess replies, "Why would you say that (meaning Amber) on F-ing National TV?" Good question. There's a lot of truthness in that. :-D
PS: I didn't see the comment Eric made about ED/Dani and all, I am only offering why I wasn't finding what Eric said re" Amber's personal info as offensive.
Eric shouldn't have repeated it Under Any Circumstances. If he had any class at all, he wouldn't have. If Amber was dumb enough to tell him on nat'l. TV, yes, we would have heard it anyway, but he repeated it to someone else after being specifically asked not to because he thought he might be able to use the info for his own benefit. AND there is no excuse in the world for what he said about Dick and Daniele. That is beyond sick!
Right on joy
Ok, once again...where DO they get these people??!! Jackie, your banging your head on the keyboard had me literally laughing out loud. Then your eyeroll(s)to the stupid comments about Jewish people and New Yorkers just made me bang my OWN head on my keyboard while rolling all four eyes I have!!! It constantly amazes me how some people live and believe!! ACK!!!
Sigh. BTW, I just couldn't help myself and had to see what "multi businesses" Miss Truthness owns. Well, I googled and there is clearly some bit of money somewhere. She's supposedly a realtor and she and her husband own and run a restaurant/resort/hotel type place and another restaurant as well from what I can tell (don't hold me to the details...I'm not obsessed enough to remember everything I read two days ago.)
Still a head shaker to me how she can be so ill-spoken and unworldly and supposedly be a business person. Oh well, I'm one of them New Yorker suburb types who knows Jewish people aplenty so there must be somethin' wrong with my thinking anyway. That being said, I'll now go throw myself under the bus and cry with Amber.
And I hope Kail DOES GO HOME already.
Just a ramblin' rose...

I think the comments made by Jessica is so stupid and very offensive. I am an african american female; I do not think I am crazy. If she have no knowledge of the different cultures she should not show her ignorance on national tv or the internet. I know she is entitled to her comments but maybe she needs to get out more. Amber is just stupid. I don't pay her no attention. I can not see nobody as emotional as Amber.
And Nate cried at 1:23am.

Carrie not only that Jennifer swore on her LIFE! For Nana; for the record, I relate to everything you write, my family we all ( net share PH )various times we are not in same Country ( with new modern tech although I won't name from which media group, my family we are not all American born, therefore for some English is not our first language, my father will comment very little, he's afraid of others not comprehending, manner in which he relays his comments ( due to a bad experience he had in a blog over 2 yrs ago ) then we found Jackie YEAH-- haha, it's great knowing that you do care Jackie. You know we've discussed whether many of these HG's have lived under a rock here's a funny incident regards to the term " Karma " I certainly had never felt my daughter was living under a rock, she had attended private school, however upon entering college my daughter ( age 17 ) returned home one weekned, she asked me if I knew who " Karma " was, of course I busted out with laughter, I asked her why, she replied " seems the students think she's a B " went on to say " I didn't want to look as if I didn't know who they were all talking about so I agreed " Thanks Jackie..
Aie un beau jour pour tous ( Have a good day for all )

Joy, welcome to Big Brother. This is what they do in the show. They tell each other secrets, then they ask each other not to tell anyone, promises are made and quicker than you can bat an eye, the secret is spilled to someone else.
To WindTlker 2:59 AM....
THANKS FOR THE BEST LAUGH OF THE DAY!!!
The houseguests have overstayed their welcome, time for all to go home, nobody gets anything, bye-bye! Can you imagine what a depressing after-show party they'll have? Do you suppose any will have jobs to return to? Yikes.
