Here are the evening's happenings since the live show ended from that Big Brother House of "You Can Never Be Too Blonde and Win Too Many HOH" --
- Eric thinks Jen's speech was rude (the one in which they plead their case to stay). Well, I think his "speech" was rude when she left. He should have just let her go without his snide comment. If she was considering voting for him in the jury, he blew it right there.
- The house mood is upbeat, but I'm sure that will change with the pressure of another HG going home.
- Dick hopes Jen gets fired from her nanny job.
- Jessica asked Amber what Jen had wanted to tell her before she left. Amber said she wasn't going to say, but since she asked ... Jen wanted to warn Jessica not to trust Eric because he has a girlfriend named Cheryl. She doesn't want Jessica to be hurt.
- Jameka tried to give advice to Daniele about how to talk to her father. She says he's abrasive but means well -- he's always proud of her and loves her.
- Jameka says Evel Dick's intentions are good. (And where does the road paved with good intentions lead ...?)
- Daniele kept fussing about her father, nothing to do with the Jen incidents. She fussed in general about him and it was more of a woe-is-me fuss.
- Dick and Eric continued to trash talk Jen long after she was gone.
- Amongst Jessica's HOH goodies she got a "Booyah" shirt.
- Jameka had an Amber moment. She asked Daniele what boas (the kind you wear, not the snake) were and how you spell the word.
- The HG speculated that Kail might be the mayor of her town. Heh.
- Amber told Eric that Jen told her to tell Jessica not to trust him.
- There was a big In N Out burger feast during which Jameka overate and regretted it ... not!
- Eric said his girlfriend is long-distance.
- Jameka seems to be pushing Jessica (a bit) to put Evel Dick on the block.
- Jessica told Jameka she won't put her on the block.
- America's Player? -- Eric told Jessica that she should put Amber on the block. Amber and Zach. I'd say the Zach is a personal choice of his, Amber the voted one.
All are in bed as I post this, with Eric and Jessica just parting ways (for the dawn).

I'll bet alot of teenage girls voted for Zach--I warned you this would happen. They just didn't like his climbing in bed between Jessica and Eric.
Do we think Jessica is really thinking about putting up Dick and/or Daniele? Or is she sticking with the 4 til the end. She really could flip it if she wanted to. HMM
I agree with you, Jackie...Eric's comment to Jen as she went out the door was unnecessary and just mean. It was stupid too since his video message to Jen wasn't bad, and she IS a vote on the jury if he makes it that far.
Jessica could really change things up with her nominations and then POV decision. Too bad Eric has her ear. I hope she begins to mistrust what he says.
Maybe we're going to have some gameplay after all?
Good Morning Jackie, BB is a low down dirty mean game with few, if any rules. I guess that is why I like it. I dislike the D & D duo and realized much of that is because they are tag teaming the others, just as Will and Boogie did last season. I don't think Boogie could have won without Will and the subservient Erica. Teams who came into the house as a team (instead of forming alliances after they arrive) seem to give unfair advantage and I know that 'fair' is one of the four letter words not allowed in that house. Still, I think that is at the root of my dislike for those two. I accept they will be harsh personalities, but I like everyone to enter the house on the same footing. I think this season was built around D & D. The other two 'pairs' were just smoke screen. But, Daniele sure seems to be planting the seeds of getting her dad out with every one who will listen. First Amber and now Jameka. Of course, Jameka thought D was actally asking for advice, but the girl herself said she only does strategy in the house...nothing personal. Then she smiles. Hey Jackie,You had a huge number of comments on last night's show, and I read them all. Most were thoughtful and all were far above the level of some boards comments. They actually got to the heart of the issues and told what people are thinking, not just about this game and the people in it, but people who deal with real situations. I found it fasinating that each of us saw something different than the other while we were all watching the same video. We all added our own twist or personal experience to color what we saw. Then we personalized the emotional background. I just wanted to make sure you understood how important that opportunity is to many of us. Now we'll see if Jess sticks to her word of going to the final four with Eric, D & D. I think she'll put up Zach & Amber with intention of getting Amber out.
I hope Jessica will put up two pawns and ultimately back door Daniele. I would rather see her go than Dick because as bad as he is with his foul language, she is a bigger snake. Dick might settle down once his grumbling daughter is gone and he doesn't feel the need to constantly protect the ungrateful little witch. I gave all my AP votes to Dani. I hope she goes this week.

I like the XTina strategy...hope Jessica doesn't "save D&D" yet again. She could really take the power if she can work it out in her head. Also agree with Jackie about the snideness of Eric's shot at Jen as she was leaving. IMO it was so cowardly to attack her as she is walking out the door and couldn't confront him...he seems like a passive-aggressive kind of guy...certainly not anyone I'd pick to be America's player...he has a huge "cringe" factor as a personality.
Looks like America chose Amber...wish Jessica would backdoor either Dani or her obnoxious father Dick. Even after Jen had left he and Eric had to keep up the drum beat about Jen. What will Dick do without a target for his free floating rage?
Too bad we can't vote to get rid of "our" player. I don't like him.
I knew it wouldnt end up being her but I voted all 10 times for Daniele to go. While when E/J made the final 4 deal w/D&D I would have rather seen true players in the final 4 (no matter how bad Dick was and how whiney Dani is), After the last 2 weeks I'm over them.
I'd like to see Jess and Eric spend this week reclaiming their former numbers with Amber and Jameka and get one of the D's out. Wahmber has got to go if indeed there is a double eviction --SHe CANNOT WIN THiS THING. Then I'd like to see Jameka, Zach or Jess slug it out.
Jackie-- re: someone from the last post saying they saw on their TIVO listings a special BB on 9/1 that decsribed "a houseguest leaves", sugesting that might be the double eviction show... any research on that one? Thanks!
I didn't like how any of the people left in the house treated Jen when she left. Her speech was restrained considering she had no friends or support in that house practically the entire time unless other people felt they could use her for their own selfish purposes. Eric's turning into a mini Dick, it appears.
And Dick? Nice guy. Really nice guy. Who wouldn't want a guy who tries to burn you with his cigarette when you ask him to stop blowing smoke in your direction. True f-ing romance!
Sydney - I went to TitanTV and they don't have anything listed on 9/1 for BB. Who knows!
Sue - You took what I was thinking and made it eloquent! I love how we can all speak our minds. Several times, another commenter has even made me see things from another perspective. I also think it's great that everyone gets a different take on the same situations. It's what makes people so great! Thanks for expressing what I was thinking!

Just my opinion on writing the sponsors of the show to complain about Dick (if you were so inclined). I believe it might be a little late since his obvious target was Jen and she's gone.
My point is that he may not have anyone else to turn his wrath on unless it's Daniele. Jameka pretty much has distanced herself from him. No one would complain if he went off on Eric, in fact they'd probably love it.
Hopefully Jess will put him up with Amber (if Eric is successful in getting Amber nominated) and maybe Dick will go instead of Amber.
Jessica would be smart to keep D&D I think. She'd have a better chance against them than she would against the others.
I felt like Jen was pretentious and superficial. But, having said that the amount of verbal abuse she had to endure was too much. She for the most part took the high road but I think the night that Dick went off on her and she trashed his smokes she just had had it and was at her breaking point. The fact that no one ever took up for her or took offense to the language Dick uses makes me think they are all mean. I know if I was in the house I would have at least told him I was offened by his crude remarks and that I did not want to hear that kind of talk. He has no respect for ladies. Of course, by looking at him you can tell he has no respect for anyone including himself. Watching him rage on is not entertaining to me. It makes me uncomfortable to hear someone speak in such a manner and to see someone be treated that way as well. I wonder who he will turn his rage on now? If karma is indeed instant these days it should be Eric. Jessiaca remains my favorite. Boo yah!
However much people hate D and D am still rooting for them to win.Cant stand Danni but the gals got game indeed. Dick uses intimidation which i thnk really works on the HGS. All these other HG have not played the game much to desesrve getting the money, mayb Jessica whose good at the comps but Eric who only usess us to know where he should stand. I dnt like his gameplay.

The way those vile insults roll off ED's tongue, I can only imagine that he speaks in that vitriolic manner on a daily basis outside of the house. He seems all too familiar with such profanity. I wouldn't mind if he left this week, but again I would rather see Dani go first because she is just such a selfish, calculating little snake. I am still holding out hope that Jess will backdoor her.
Then again, it might be kind of fun to see Dani actually have to fight for her position in the game if Dick does get evicted first. Let's see how tough she is without her pit bull daddy staving off all those mean people=)

Also,agree with the poster...Eric is,indeed,"cringe worthy". I also think the "girlfriend" is "imaginary" and he is gay or,in the very least,"conflicted"!
I don't think Jess will oust dick. I'd think that most of them would think it's a sure bet to be standing next to him in the final two. Now,Daniele may be quite another story and I'm ready for her to leave at any time.
Just one last thought about the Jen/dick confrontations. All you dick admirers,how do you think he would react if there was another guy in the house calling "his little girl" all the vile names he called Jen? Does it depend on if the guy was bigger and stronger than him or what? Jen is just two years older than Daniele. He should be ashamed.
Agree with you Sharon...when Eric didn't respond to Jessica pointing to her boobs (a while back) and saying "these are boobs", I thought that odd. Not that he should have jumped her bones, but he certainly had no reaction at all and to me that's not a masculine reaction.
And if anyone ever attacked Dani the way he has Jen, I can't imagine what additional vile things would come out of his mouth to defend her. He's a scumbag and he needs to go.
The only way I would accept him staying in the house would be to have him and someone else (not Dani) in the F2 so that the other person would win against him. Surely no one in jury would vote for ED. They can't possibly think, within the house, that his foul mouth is considered good gameplay. I've had enough of ED...
Thank you Orkmommy. I was just watching some of ShowToo that I recorded. I was surprised the time and effort Eric spent with Amber last night trying to explain Jen's comment about his having a gf. I know he needs Jessica not to be mad at him, but I thought they had already talked of it (Jess & Eric) so it wasn't an issue. That time with Amber just plain puzzled me. There is so much about this game that just goes right over my head, so maybe I just missed something obvious. Sue
Danielle might be whiney but, it wouldn't be easy having Dick for your dad. She is really the best competitor in the house. She has won the most competions I don't see how she isn't playing a good game.

It was me and my Tivo that has bb8 listed for 9/1. It's there as well as a regular episode again on Sun.
I think the first thing that turned dick against jen was when she said "I don't want the old guy touching me', during one of the first competitions when they had to squeeze liquid off their body and hair into a tub. Next Jen started to pick on dani because nick like her better then Jen.
Im not saying dick was right in the way he verbally abused Jen, but he had his reasons. I think no one stuck up for jen because no one every really conected with her. She showed from the begining she was a liar(nick tried to kiss me)and couldn't be trusted.
Anon 11:28, in my opinion, the point is to GET to the end of the game and if Jess does not break up D&D she may not make it to the final two. One of the D's needs to go this week if any of the other HG want a chance at the final two. Those two are running this game and all Dani's talk about getting rid of her dad is just that...talk. She knows that he is protecting her and advancing HER game and she knows she would win if she took him to the final two. She gets the benefit of his protection and at the same time she gains sympathy from the others by portraying herself as a victim of his "fathering". Win-win situation for her. Their alliance should have been broken up much earlier and now I fear it may be too late.

I think all of Dick's rage toward Jen began when she referred to him as an "old man." She really hit a nerve. He is so trying to deny his age. Also the fact that she didn't want him to touch her. Last night he mentioned dating women like Jen...well the girl is the age of his daughter...that's probably the age group he does date...couldn't handle a mature woman his own age. Like a classic school yard bully he likes to pick on the small and the weak. Wish there had been a man in the house to keep Dick in check. Maybe a Kaysar. All that language would not have been tolerated.
XTina - I think Jess's best chance of getting to the end is to go there with D&D. Once they are final 4 she'd stand the best chance of winning against ED and probably Dani and probably Eric too. If she turns on them now and takes the floaters along one of them could beat her in the end. She won't get Dustin's vote, unless she's against D, D or E. Same thing with Jen. If Amber or Jameka make it through Dustin will vote for them. If she turns on D&D now she'd probably lose their votes too. If it's a E&J & D&D final 4 it's going to come down to the comps which they are all good at, except Eric, but he may be blocked from them or throwing them right now, he'll have to go for it by then.
I think Dick, amongst others things, is a huge coward. He found a female in the house who wasn't good at fighting back during confrontations AND didn't have any alliances. BINGO! Dick went after the most isolated vulnerable member of the group. Which is exactly what schoolyard bullies do.
Of course it became the perfect storm for cowardly Dick when he realized how gutless the other HG's were and how little BB would interfere. Well he's got an appetite for it now. And I'm betting whoever eventually targets Dick or Dani will become his next victim. Unlike Jen, they will deserve it.

I was reading another site that has Dick's "legal" record....he was arrested and convicted of domestic violence(traumatic injury involving his wife) 10 years ago. Also several arrests for drugs/DUI/no license,etc. Although nothing in the last few years. Seems his behavior isn't all "for the show".
Jess is quickly becoming a target....if Eric or Jam. don't get HOH next week I think we will see her on the block. Everyone knows they can't win against her so it's time to send her to SH.
After all Jam has done for Amb., I see Amb. dumping her this week for her new BF Dani. Dani knows she's
got Amb and Zach on her side so it might be wise to get rid of Amb before we see a new alliance--Dani/ED/Amb/Zach. Hopefully, Jess, really thinks this through....

I agree with others that it would be smart of Jess to take D&D with her and Eric to the final four, however much people seem to dislike them.
Very interesting that many people keep questioning Eric's sexuality and even Dick's now as a way to put them down. Really immature in my opinion. Just seems like a school yard taunt from a school yard bully, something everyone accuses Dick of being. Everyone has been complaining about how personal this game has gotten this year, yet questioning someone's sexuality is about as personal as it gets.
I for one find it refreshing to see two young people not jumping into bed right away like on other reality shows, and instead forming a bond and friendship first and focusing on the game instead. It might also have alot to do with the fact that Eric is just trying to respect his girlfriend even though he's not sure where they stand at the moment.

I can see wanting someone gone because they are mean, but because they are gay? Wow! Since someones sexuality shouldn't be a part of the game or anyones business for that matter, I cannot understand someone saying this statement. I want many people gone from the BB house, due to their game play or actions in the house, but I would never think they should be gone because of their race,religion or sexual preference. Geesh!
JOJO... I agree and have said the same things in regard to Jen beginning the dislike between her and most of the house.
-She came in & practically lived in a very revealing bikini (I think her game plan was attracting the boys)but instead pushed the women away who viewed it as slutty.
-She didn't like Nick's attention toward Daniele and not her & she lied about him kissing her. Then treated Daniele bad because of it all.
-She said to the others that she did not want "the old man rubbing butter off her body" as if Dick was dying to get his hands on her?
-She never showed any true emotion or truly bonded with anyone.
The girl was a mess and still I can't quite put my finger on what was wrong with her.
Nana in the NW... I always felt that Dick lived a hard partying like life because he looks like it and he appears to be much older than his 44 years. I also get a feeling that the guy has dealt with his demons and appears to be on the road to trying to reclaim his life (getting closer to his mother and daughter again). We all make mistakes in life, it is what we learn from those mistakes that matter. I only hope he and Daniele can build some sort of relationship for their future.
Anon 12:53, you made very valid points. I get so caught up in the game that I tend to forget about the jury votes. Dick is so tempestuous and his daughter is so obnoxious with her entitlement attitude that I just want them gone. A girl can dream can't she!

LOL!! Sure XTina, go ahead and dream! I've grown to like Jess. I thought she was an expendible bimbo in the beginning but she's a player. And I've come to respect the job Eric's doing, especially when the AP votes don't go the way he'd like to play. I was and remain a Dick fan, and eventually became a Daniele fan as she comes with the Dick package. So that is my dream final 4. I've thought for a long time that Dick (and Jen) would be desirable opponents in the final 2, easily beatable. But you never know, there is always that surprise respect factor that happens, like with Richard Hatch winning Survivor even though most people including the jurors hated him.
I think now is the time for Jess to target either Dick or Daniele. Dani is esp good at winning comps and it would be wise to backdoor her. Both are strong players and I think it would be in both Eric and Jess' best interest to get one of them out now while they still can. You take care of your biggest threats first. Eric is too good of a player, not as Ap, to not realize this.

I still think Daniele is her most formidable opponent and she needs to cut her loose now before it's too late. Jess probably won't make it to the final 2 because the other HG are going to target her since she doesn't have any enemies in the house and they realize they couldn't win against her in the final 2. Surprisingly, Jessica turned out to be a good player.

If anyone's interested, I read on AOL Entertainment News that Blake Lewis just signed a new recording contract with Arista Records.
Also, Jordin Sparks released a single today called "Tattoo". You can hear it on AOL. Her album will be released on Nov 30. I really like the single.
"They" were in town (well, Rochester is a half hour away) yesterday at the local arena. The reviews today were pretty good, though they mentioned Sanjaya wearing a "poodle cut" hairdo. Don't really care what that is. I didn't go, but sounds like it was a pretty good show overall.
Nancy boy refers to a man that is feminine in qualities. acts feminine, dresses feminine, reacts feminine etc.... a sissy.
I'm not sure what's meant by "nancy boy," either. Is it that hawk doll Jess has? Or is it a gay thing?
Eric takes trash talk to a Dick level. I can't believe he said he wished Jen would die last night. I realize he was unhappy that she outed his gf situation, but damn. I don't think I've ever wished somebody dead.
Jen knows what was up with the difference between his comment as he was leaving and the video message. She said in her interview on ew.com she knew he was trying to get a vote out of her. Loser.
I really hope that back door hits Dani on the butt on the way out this week.

I did not see the video but I must confess that in the heat of anger I have wished someone would die. I know not very christian but sometimes you say things you REALLY don't mean(although when I said it about my EX-son-in-law at the time I meant it...I'm like a mama bear and I will do or say about anything to protect my daughters from both physical and emotional abuse!!!!).
I believe Eric says a lot of things that he doesn't really mean(literally) but thinks he's impressing the other HG.
I was reading a convo Eric had with Jess about having kids. He said he had a "scare" a few years ago thinking a girl was preg. I'm starting to think maybe there was a time that he was "conflicted"
in his teen years.
I may be old fashioned but I still want to believe that he and Jess are taking it slow and not wanting to hurt his GF(or ex as he refers to her) on national TV. Call me naive but I'm just an "old fashioned girl" at heart!!!

Deanna, great post! I so agree with everything you said.
I very much doubt that Dick exhibits the same type of behavior outside the BB house as he does inside. No one would be that confrontational; they'd have an extremely difficult time getting through life. This is Dick's strategy; it's like an actor playing a part. He may have been admonished by the BB staff, but he keeps people watching (even those who claim to despise him don't seem to be changing the channel) and that's what's important to CBS.
I remember that first day in the house when Jen made the 'old guy' statement. She had just about everyone against from the very beginning and yet managed to stay for a while and gave BB a ratings boost this week (I would guess, at least. She made some poor choices and one of them was wearing those shorts to meet Julie in. IMO, at least. It is funny to think that Dick could be an obnoxious charater played by an actor while Jen is a woman lacking in social skills. I am hearing a double standard in that argument.Daniele has said often in the house that no one knows her enough to judge. That is true of all of them, we can't even judge their game plan because we don't know what it is. That won't stop me, but I do understand the statement. But, Jen is gone from the house and still seems to be a major topic of conversation on the boards and in the house. Compelling was the word Julie used, diplomatically. None of which I came here tonight to say. Just to add to the conspiracy theories that I love so much, what if we take the rumors of Jen knowing Boogie and Dick also knowing Boogie and Will and then look at that first day in the house. Why would Jen, who must have been working it from day one and come into the house with a plan, go out of her way to insult a hg and single him out with an insult. Kind of odd or poor game playing. Both possible with Jentastic. But, what if they both not only knew Boogie but each other...at least enough to be aware who each were. And, what if Boogie had a side bet with each of them as to which could stay in the house longer. Wouldn't that make her choose Dick to get out from the first? Call me BRITT! -- I am glad to see your particiaption whether I agree or not and personally don't categorize you as a regular or newcomer or whatever, so I hate to see you go there. I feel it kind of insults the rest and I'm sure you are not meaning for it to have that effect.
While on the topic, I'm kinda insulted in general by this whole concept of regulars thing... because then there has to be a "verses x, y or z" ... When to my knowledge, none of those who've been referred to as "regulars" have brought up that terms. I may be wrong, but I haven't seen it. Just as I was thinking that issue was a little hiccup/growing pain last week....

Britt... I re-read what you wrote & still it sounds like I originally thought, but if I'm wrong I apologize. It is easy to misinterpret someones words when they are written and not said.
As for thinking I'm attacking your opinions because your a "regular", you couldn't be further from the truth. I started reading this blog last summer and slowly crept into the conversations here. Never did I feel unwelcome, but I have been called out on my views, and I accept that. Many people have responded to what I wrote and they have made me see things in a different perspective. I enjoy challenging others thought process as well as have mine challenged. I don't name call or attack, but debate the issues that are presented here. It is all in fun and I hope you don't chose to leave. :)
The HGs will probably start watering down their goodbye messages soon, not that some haven't already. Wondering if Jen has made it to SH yet and if she'll stay? Wouldn't she have a dilemma if the F2 were D&D? I don't think CBS would sue her if she left SH, not after what she had to put up with in the house from ED. She would probably just lose whatever money she made staying in the house for as long as she did. Imagine the negative publicity for CBS if they went after her....

First of all I did NOT write any " Attacking " words, unless you consider Geezzz, Did you read what I had written? You telling me to get over myself that's on a personal level, Alright - I'm over myself! I had written I wouldn't place in Jackie's blog where those exact wordings had started, just like suddenly Dick's arrest record is circulating, after being on the other BB site ( in fact it wouldn't surprise me if his entire rap sheet along with his family members are posted just like someone recently posted I haven't seen it in here thus far however apparently nobody was commenting over at that BB site, here's a clue check out BB8 site where 70 out of 3 comments are Anon; that in itself speaks loud volumes. No I'm not blog police however when certain blogs are posted for instance on TV Squad or other paid TV sites, Web owners depending on contracts signed tend to view individual blog comments so that blog owners can get a certain pay rate at the end of those shows. The more comments that are posted more % owners receive, I apologize Jackie.
Just to clarify my earlier comments about Jen's Early Show appearance which I had taped. The following is the exact conversation she had with Julie and why it's highly doubtful she'll be suing anyone.
Julie: Were you intimidated by him and his actions towards you?
Jen: Um, I don't know if I'd use the word 'intimidation', I was just like annoyed or just like this guy has problems, like what is his deal? Like he obviously has some serious issues that he needs to deal with.
Julie: Do you think he was trying to intimidate others or was it just strategy?
Jen: I think he was doing both. He got to others, made them cry. He didn't get to me. (Then, laughing) added. He kept trying and trying and trying.
Then at the end of the interview, Julie asked who she would vote for to win. Jen said she had no idea who she would pick to win. And she said it with a look on her face that seemed to say she didn't want to vote for any of them.
By the way, they also showed the "cigarette burn" clip. I played it in slow motion. It looks like the majority of the "head" of the butt fell off with lots of sparks when Jen first grabbed at it. The rest of the clip showed NO smoke coming from the butt. That butt held by Dick, was pinched between his thumb and index finger sideways like he was trying to keep them both from getting burned.

nana in the nw: I disagree with your 4:57pm comment regarding Eric's saying he wished Jen would die. He could (and has) said plenty of other mean things to people in that house and if impressing the other HGs was what he was trying to do, he could of said plenty of other things. I, like others, would never wish death on someone. I don't understand how saying that, would impress anyone. His incest remarks alone were disgusting enough that I think Jessica should steer clear of him as far as a romantic relationship. You have a much more forgiving nature than I do. Those incest remarks he so casually threw out there behind Dick and Dani's backs, but in front of, Jessica was a sign to me of his true personality and I think Jessica should be wary of what he may say to her should she make him angry.

Actually, I don't really care because I'm over trying to reason with people who only want to be right all the time and not look at their own behavior. Joy, that's your take on the cigarette burning incident and you're entitled to your opinion. I just think anyone who even "pretends" that they would do that is surely capable of doing it. Also, it's foolish to even go there if you are an adult, you should act like one. People who try to burn others are sick.
Let me add this before anyone else does. I'm rooting for Dick. Yes, I am. Yes, I know Dick has said some terrible things to almost everyone. Yes, I believe he's stepped over the line at times. But, just about everything he says, he says to their faces and sometimes they react to what he's said. Sometimes not. But they have the opportunity to yell or scream right back at him. Most of the time, they choose not to. Their problem. Eric almost always chooses to slander people by whispering behind their backs, including, " he wishes Jen would die." RUN, JESSICA, RUN!!
Beth: people who try to grab lit cigarettes aren't very bright either.
