Just a couple of bunnies hanging out in the kitchen, eh? Today's been quite a day in the Big Brother house. For more detail on the POV comp, check out my previous post. This one will cover the rest of the day and other odd POV tidbits which have been being discussed by the houseguests.Here's today's report from the Big Bunny House:
- Eric and Jessica were up until nearly 5:30. BB woke everyone up at around 9 AM. It would be nice if they got a clue, huh?
- Keep in mind this happened before the POV comp -- Dustin told Jessica and Amber that he told Kail not to trust Daniele and Dick. They then discussed the POV options to protect both Eric and Dustin as they feel they're in danger of being backdoored.
- Kail told Jen that Dustin told her not to trust them. She wanted to tell Daniele, but Jen told her not to.
- Dick told Jessica that now Kail should be the one to go home if the nominations remain the same. She said okay. He also said someone kept leaking info to Kail. (Duh, Dick. Dustin!)
- Dick accused Zach of doing something or saying something to Kail and Zach got upset with him.
- Pre-POV, Dick was on a real anti-Kail kick. It might have something to do with Jen mending fences with Daniele. Or, as it was brought out much later by Jen -- the DR talked to Dick about his actions and behavior towards her.
- Dick accused Kail of throwing Jen under the bus. Um, okay. The guy has a screw loose. He must.
- Dick had beer before 11 AM. The breakfast of champions!
- Eric asked Jameka if he goes on the block, does he have her word that she, Jessica, Dustin, and Amber have his back? She said he has her word, but I don't know how she can promise for the rest of them.
- Dick tried to intimidate Kail and Jen before the veto comp.
- Pre-veto, Dick and Daniele talked. They decided they want to get Kail out of the house because they think Dustin, Amber, and Eric are working with her.
- Daniele doesn't think they can trust Jen, but may be able to use her to their advantage.
- Dick threw some of Jen's stuff over the wall in the backyard. For revenge, she threw his cigarettes in the pool. Not all of them, but...!
- The POV took place. I made an error in my post about it (which I'll fix), but Jameka did NOT take the 10,000. That's not why she was crying. She was crying because she gave up the chance at HOH for five weeks and won't hear from her family or get photos. No one took the ten grand.
- And, in the POV, Jen stands to lose half of everything she may win in the game. So, if she takes first place, it's cut in half.
- The Bunny People have to only slop their group, not innocent bystanders.
- Dustin was out early in the POV comp.
- The hourly wake-up/slop heads only lasts 24 hours; the Bunny People wear the costume until the live show.
- The consensus amongst the POV players is that it was the most brutal POV comp in all the seasons of the show.
- Daniele thinks Jen just wants 15 minutes of fame, doesn't care about the money and doesn't want to be in sequester for the jury. She thinks she may use the POV to save Kail. If she does, it will be Jen going home.
- Dick and Daniele are worried that they won't have enough votes to evict Eric if he's up against Kail.
- Dick thinks Eric flipped out too much over the HOH comp banner plane -- by denying he's a liar. (What about Amber who cried and cried that she's not a liar? Are they so immune to her crying that they didn't see she freaked out, too?)
- Dustin told Eric and Amber that Dick already threw them both under the bus -- Eric's the leak and Amber's the one who pushed for Nick to go.
- Dick, Daniele, and Jessica don't think Jen lies. (Yeah, right.)
- Daniele and Dick want to "expose" Eric. (Do they think they're living in a vacuum?)
- Kail asked Eric why Dustin didn't put Dick up if he was such a threat. Eric told her that Nick was more of a threat with more connections in the house.
- Eric told Kail that if Daniele puts up anyone other than Zach in Jen's place, she's probably going home.
- Jen told Daniele that she knows Mike Boogie, but she doesn't like him. (Yeah, right!)
- Both Jessica and Jameka seem to be leaning in favor of anyone other than Daniele and Dick although they haven't blown any cover with them.
- Jen told Dick that it was she who was getting the information from the LNC (last time -- Late Night Crew) and leaking it to Kail.
- Dick and Jen sort of called a truce. He wouldn't yell at her anymore.
- Dick yelled at Jen.
- Dick wants everyone to call out Eric at once. Um... odd.
- Jessica and Jameka once again told Eric not to worry -- that he has the votes to stay.
- Then it seems Jessica changed her mind while talking to Jen ... or was saying that Eric played her for the benefit of Dick and Daniele. (Everybody's story changes dependent on to whom they're talking.)
Argh. This is all so confusing! I honestly feel that more people really don't care for Dick, but accept Daniele. I don't know for sure if the Eric, Dustin, Amber, Jessica, Jameka block is really falling apart or whether they're just telling people what they want to hear. I really think that if Eric is on the block with Kail, it would be Kail going home. But I'm not certain. Argh. At least Zoetawny is flying a banner for Eric!

jackie, can you tell if jen thinks she's really in an alliance with dick and daniele or is she just playing them?
The going-ons in the BB House are just as confusing as the Caucus Race in "Alice in Wonderland." With this confusion in mind, I would like to point out a few lines from chapter three in Alice in Wonderland, "A Caucus Race and a Long Tale" and draw your attention to the similarities between the houseguests and the characters in the story.
1. They were indeed a queer-looking party that assembled . . . - unitards, bunnie suits, mohawks, tatoos, etc
2. Indeed, she had quite a long argument with . . . replace the she with ED
3. At last the Mouse, who seemed to be a person of authority among them, called out, Sit down, all of you, and listen to me! . . . once again ED comes to mind
4. You insult me by talking such nonsense! . . . what the guests should be saying to ED
5. But you're so easily offended, you know! . . . ED's reply of course
6. On various pretexts they all moved off . . . what the houseguests do when Zach comes around
There are many more in this chapter but you get the idea. Now I'm wondering who will be the Cheshire Cat smiling away and holding the $500,000 prize when our strange story ends.
I am hoping that Kail will be the one to leave this week. Next week it would be nice to see Dick up on the block and how the HG would vote given the chance. I have not been able to place my finger on why the HG allow Dick to be the master of hatching out all the voting practices. It seems like all the HG are afraid to make the move in putting him up, with the exception of Jen & Eric. I think Jen would have no problem putting ED up. Should Eric become HOH, I believe he is feeling the heat of Dick catching on to him and would place him on the block, in hopes that he can get Dick out before his cover is blown. It would be the smartest move to get Dick out. If they don't Dick will be staying in the house for a long time, possible to the end or close to it.
It sound like the battle is on between Jen and ED. It should be interesting to see who wins out in the end of their child play. I guess they keep something happening in the house. If it was not for their drama, not much would be happening in the house.
Once again, I still do not have a favorite so far this season.

I agree Kail will go home if Eric is placed on the block, although it'll be much to Dick/ Dani's surprise, Jessica will not evict Eric, Dani really should put Amber on the block, whether she's voted out probably not, either way, putting Eric will open up a huge can of snakes ( not worms ) haha

Ok my friend get's the BB update on her cell phone and it said it's going to be double eviction on thursday.................now what?? ACKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!
I truly wish that Daniele would put up Amber to go... I think the votes would go as such.

Eric- (I think America would love to see Amber gone the most)

Only problem is, they don't know that Eric's vote is our vote and that most of us can't stand Amber. I can wish though.... :)
I, too, don't understand the appeal of Amber to the hgs. They are treating her as if she is completely different from the person we are seeing. What does that mean? Are they discounting her...letting her slide because she is so delicate mentally and emotionally? If so, is that her game plan or just who she is? I just keep thinking that none of them see her as a threat or as anyone who can win it, so they ignore chances to get her out. But then I hear of some of the hgs going to her for advice and treating her as a leader. That doens't fit with the Amber I saw hugging Nick's leg. Sue
I think that Eric is going to be put up for eviction. Unfortunately I think he will be evicted.
Not what I want or hope for but it is what I think will happen.
Dick seems to be the pied piper for the HG. It doesn't seem to matter how wrong or delusional he is. The group went along with evicting Mike and Nick with no rhyme or reason.
Last week our boy Eric really wanted Nick to go instead of Kail. Why?
Nobody seems interested in getting rid of Amber or Dick. That is incredible to me.
I think that the house has become a looneybin where delusions run rampant and irrational thought rules.
I bet that the next 3 evictions will be the more sane people like Eric, Jessica and Jameka.
early evening jen was talking to jess telling her how eric tells everyone the their his number 1 and jess got mad ... i think shes swaying toward a eric eviction myself but we shal see.
I am liking this new alliance that I call: JenEvel Danack.
It shakes things up, it is totally unexpected and fascinating.
Dustin is becoming quite arrogant. He says he is a Power Player with Strong moves. He is going around the house trying to threaten people now and nagging them to get Zack out. They all tell him it is not going to happen and now he is setting up Zack.
Dustin is so deathly afraid of losing Kail or Eric that he is becoming a huge target.
Dustin and Amber are now my least favorites.
I agree about Amber. They are all letting her slide. She could cry and slide her way with her tears into the Final.
Yuck!
It is like they are so scared to upset her that they do not even discuss ever putting her on the block. They all seem to protect Amber and shield her.
They will regret it if they do not wake up.

the hamsters this season can't get a reasonable thought together, & they can't keep a thought together for more than a few seconds - they are all so wishy washy, no one knows what anyone else is doing - there are no real alliances at all this season !! i think each one of them thinks that they will be the best player ever in BB history that they keep swaying this way & that to do something unforgettable !!they have each made comments about how they have done something that's never been done, etc - how delusional
a bunch of twits - jackie & zoetawny , you & all our fellow bloggers are the only thing making this season interesting

I wonder if the folks at CBS realize that BB8 is on a collison course.
I would think after Pirate Master bombed and was cancelled, they might have a clue that people want to see something more interesting than a few of the players running the show for several weeks.
BB fans are for the most part disgusted by this group of HG and are definitely put off by the tears and the behavior of several of the HG.
How long til TAR comes back on? Maybe it will be more engaging and entertaining than BB8.
May... I agree, Dustin is really getting annoying and a bit cocky. Talking "I'm a power player, I make bold moves in this house." WTF? What bold move did he make? Nominating Nick? others suggested it and he did it. Not too bold, IMO. I would love to see him or Amber be placed on the block by Daniele... Lets cross our fingers and hope hope hope.... :)
I have watched BB Every year but 2 and have been reading Jackie's blog for quite some time. THank you by the way. Every year we all say oh this season is lame, petitions are started about house guest. I always read that the produces suck, and granted most times that is true. I remember reading I think it might have been last year, someone thought that BB should shake thing up with the veto compitions, and make them more entertaining and not just give the veto away. This year they did. My Point is WE are ALL BB addicts, and they should really have BBA meetings for us. If it is renewed for a BB9 we will all be back next year voiceing our grips, and why????? Because Jackie is awesome and lets us do it..

Please send AMBER home. I am so over her whining. Is she for real? Does she act like this outside of the BB8 house. If so, I think she has serious emotional issues. I cannot imagine this big cry baby raising any children or dealing with any real life issues. How she made it on this show is a wonder to me?
Also, can anyone tell me what goes on in the DR? What is the purpose?
