'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds Sun. Evening to Monday Wee Hours 8/20
Eric is now a marked man. I'll explain more about that later in this report. Alas, there are more important happenings from that Big Brother House of Revolting Rabbits:
- Jameka advised Amber to make a deal with Daniele to only not put her on the block if she wins HOH.
- Jen is pushing for anyone to put up Daniele and Dick next time -- one must go, she says.
- While Jen wondered about the replacement nominee if the POV saves either Amber or Jameka, Eric told her not to worry. But then he said you never really know because Daniele and Dick lie all the time.
- Eric reported back to Dick his talk with Jen.
- Amber went to Daniele and proposed a deal -- she once again swore on her daughter's life (didn't she learn her lesson the first time?) that she wouldn't put Daniele on the block if she got HOH, but wants her to take her off the block this week.
- Sigh.
- Since Daniele's target this time has always been Jen in a backdoor, she agreed to Amber's deal although it was just icing on the cake.
- Sigh.
- Amber promised to tell no one, not even Jameka.
- There was a party for Daniele's birthday, but those on slop couldn't have the birthday cupcakes. She received nothing from Kris, not a surprise.
- She did get a letter which made her very somber, but not sure who it was from.
- Dick messed up her age by referring to it as a "landmark" birthday and Jen jumped on it. (She just turned 21, but has told everyone that she was turning 22.)
- Daniele got in one of her pouty moods and retired to the HOH looking like she wanted to cry ... again.
- Zach played chess with himself after Daniele ignored him ringing her doorbell.
- Amber told Evel Dick that her boss told her "not to embarrass" him while she's on the show. Um.
- Eric and Jessica talked -- he's not worried about going on the block this week, he thinks they're both safe. He thinks Amber will try to make a deal with Daniele, but it will be Jameka coming down from the block. (Not so astute, Mr. America's Player!)
- Amber told Jameka that Daniele was smart -- knowing she'd come down and her real target would go up. Jameka pointed out that if Zach won POV, the noms would have remained the same. "Oh. I was her back-up target."
- She didn't cry, but looked like she wanted to.
- Daniele told Eric that the DR was pushing for her not to use the POV. Jen even said she was asked who the replacement nominee would be.
- They played a Spin the Beer Can game with questions, then quarters when BB gave them more beer.
- At midnight, they celebrated Daniele's birthday again. (BB honored it Sunday because nothing else goes on.)
- Evel Dick was happy that Daniele seemed to be having fun.
- Eric wore Jen's bikini while Zach wore the Jenitard. Fun, fun, fun!
- Zach told Eric that if he makes the final two, he can win against Dick, but not against Daniele.
- Amber proceeded to tell Jameka all about her deal with Daniele. It's a good thing she didn't swear not to tell on her daughter's life when she promised Daniele she wouldn't tell anyone, not even Jameka.
- Daniele told Zach that Eric was a smart player when Zach told her he doesn't respect him in the game. He says Eric is like an encyclopedia, but doesn't apply the knowledge.
- Everyone thinks it's odd that Eric hasn't been chosen to play for POV yet.
- It looks like Eric got his Woobie from the DR -- he had something in his clothes and furtively hid it in the bedroom.
- Jen and Jessica talk Eric into letting them paint him with their waterpaint kit. Everyone gets into the act. When it's all done, he puts on Dustin's crown and all have a hoot.
- Zach told Daniele that he really wants HOH. She told him to win it, then.
- He also mentioned that no one goes to her HOH room unlike when Jessica was HOH. Daniele likes the privacy.
- There we end the overnight hours, with Eric painted with sayings such as "Kail, Marry Me! and "I heart Kansas" and "I heart Zach" as well as purely decorative paint.
- Daniele is talking to Dick about what to say when putting Jen on the block. She's sure she doesn't have Jen's jury vote no matter what.
- Daniele is having second thoughts because she told Jen that she had her back until the end. Dick asked her why she said such things. Daniele still wants to put Jen up, she just doesn't know how to go about dealing with Jen for the week.
- Eric gave Jessica the Woobie, so much for fun with that!

You would think if D/R indeed make such request; Dani would have enough sense to ask herself why??? Sure it could serve it's purpose both ways but at the same time it's a hidden message warning you it could be a huge mistake, due to perhaps a " twist " do they not realize why Jen may have picked up on landmark comment? I'm guessing the DR is trying to keep all the "players" in the game to keep it exciting. Since neither Amber or Jameka have been really playing or even understanding the game as it's been played so far(@@), it really doesn't matter if they leave.
I thought the way they edited Amber last night would have been funny if I wasn't already so embarrassed for her. I cringed.
Can someone tell me what was said when Eric gave Jess the Woobie?

My guess why Eric hasn't been chosen to play POV yet... I really think that his name isn't on any of the things in the bag. The houseguests don't ever open up the bag to check, do they? If his name were chosen, and he got to play and actually won, then America wouldn't be able to choose if he used it or not because of the real timing of the POV ceremony (Monday) vs. the real timing of the actual show when it's shown(Tuesday).
Houseguests get to vote, get a chance to play POV, and play their own game. Eric isn't a houseguest. He is a ringer, a person in the house, he makes no choices on his own. BB will have to resolve that some way before the end of the game. Maybe his contract shows he can't win the whole prize. If he makes it a certain distance, I think he gets a bonus. If that milestone happens, then maybe they will reveal it (and he would be next voted out. I don't know because BB has never made it clear.I hope he was careful in choosing what to say to Jessica about his Woobie, since AP gave it to her rather than it coming from Eric. Big Diff to the girl who doesn't forget the slightest slight. Thank you Jackie for a great report. Sue
I'd doubt Eric wouldn't be allowed to win. If anything, he'd deserve it more for making it to the end with all the risks and backpeddling he's had due to the AP votes. So far none of the votes have given him anything that could be considered an unfair advantage, most have given him a disadvantage so if he's able to turn it around for himself, more power to him. The veto thing is odd though, it's getting close to him having to play, just because the numbers left will force it. I like the theory of there not being time for an AP vote if he did win veto so maybe he doesn't even have a ball in there, with that logic in mind, maybe there won't be a double eviction week this season, again because there wouldn't be time for an AP vote. If he can't play vetos maybe he isn't allowed to win HOH either. Some of his throwing of the comps have been obvious. Maybe there is a line, like say he makes it to the final 3 he's released to play out the game on his own. And if he doesn't make it and is on the jury his vote is ours.
if all the comments are true...the DR making hints...Eric not being able to get PV or HOH well then Im mad at CBS....Now I like the twists with the DNA and the twin switch, that was cool, but those girls had to function their own...at least I thought they did...

I was reading on CBS.com about AP. There isn't a whole lot of info but it did say "can america and Eric make it to the end" (or something to that effect". Makes it sound like "we" could win.
Well then, if Eric "makes it" to the end and "we" win, how do I collect my share of the 500 thou?
I don't think it's true that Eric hasn't gotten any advantages from being AP. I think they feed him info in the DR and plot strategy with him in there,otherwise why is he in there for so long and so often? It doesn't take that long to tell him what he's to do. There seem to be some really shady areas in this thing called the AP and maybe,just maybe, they make the rules up as they go along.I think the DR overruled us and gave the "woobie" to Jess for their own satisfaction! Another stupid task!!

Just for kicks, I'd like to see if "we" can get Eric to the final 2. Wouldn't it be fun to take on the challenge. We've done everything to put obstacles in his way...now let's see if we can help him get there.
What is it with Eric, anyway? Either he's taking his clothes off every other day or he's putting womens clothing on. Seems to add fuel to the "maybe he's gay" thing. Or maybe he's just a little "crazy" too. Get Amber out of there because whatever she's got may be spreading.

Well folks, I just watched a clip and heard it myself. She made a deal with Daniele and yep, she swore on her daughter that she wouldn't put Danile on the block if she (Amber) wins HOH next week. Ok, so is it different because she swore on her daughter and not on her daughter's life? Seems darn close to me.
The other thing that amazed me is that Dani asked for next week and Amber kept rambling and saying even 2 or 3 weeks. (Great negotiating, Amber!! WTG) THEN when Daniele said something about knowing Amber wouldn't vote out Jameka, Amber says she wouldn't want to but she'll vote her out if Daniele wants her to!! WTG again, Amber. Great game play!!
I still think getting Jen out is a good move for D&D. It's too hard to tell what she really believes and will do. All she talks about is getting Dick and Daniele on the block. And, Jen is entirely capable of winning when she wants to.

I was wondering about the POV thing too..why Eric hasn't been pull'd to play, and do you think that BB has told him to throw HOH?? i mean he's has gottin all the way to the end and then thrown it, or was theat Eric not wanting to cause waves at the start of the game..
I know that Daniele is targeting Jennoying this week, but i think that i would want to get weepy smurf out of the house 1st..either way they wont have the #'s to go against D&D and J&E..and Zach wont go against Daniele, so there's like 5 to 3 at this point..

I agree Sharon, especially about the Woobie going to Jessica. The timing is just too suspect for producers who want to boost ratings by having a 'couple' in the house. The Woobie suddenly appeared? Has the Woobie been around before the vote? Please, Jessica getting it was a done deal (an aside here: the 12 year old in me is trying very hard to ignore all the sexual euphemisms of this show...not always working, but I am trying to be good). It could be Eric is an exhibitionist in real life, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that BB is telling him in DR to jack up the humor by disrobing, cross dressing and showing his stuff...or lack thereof. They really are trying this season to add a spark and it just isn't happening. Alice was chaste and so are the hgs. Sue
I don't think Eric is getting inside info (anymore than anyone else anyway - seems like the DR gives them ALL suggestions and opinions). He's seemed surprised by some of the early AP votes, ones that would be obvious to an insider. If he was getting inside info and made it to the end and won, I think CBS would have a problem from the other players. I'd think it would be their goal to see Eric win and have the big reveal live afterwards. With that goal in mind they'd have to keep it on the up & up.
The woobie thing seems quick - they just asked for the vote last night and he's already given it? The way the thing was pictured in a box (and someone mentioned him bringing it out of the DR and hiding it in his stuff) looks like it's just a prop and not something that really belongs to him.
I have to say I bet Eric would be playing a totally different game if he wasn't having to do what America tells him to do. But what a spin master he is!You gotta give him props for this at least. This boy needs a job working for the Government. I love the way he can manipulate everyone to do his bidding. He is like The Emperor Palpatine in the house. I wondered about the pact between Jen and Danielle. Danielle is the one who approached Jen and told her she had Jen's back. Jen even asked her after she won HOH if this deal still held and Danielle had the chance then to say not so much but what she said was I hope so. It will be interesting to see how she deals with this being that the Donnatos never lie! Yeah, right. This girl is one of the biggest liars in the house; from her age to her non-involvement in voting out her buddy Nick! Add that to her almost nonstop whining and complaining and I have to say I agree with Jen she and her daddy need to be put up with her going home, just like the others wanted all along. Zach is just annoying and creepy as ever. AMber would be my choice to leave this week. She is not entertaining at all and I have had it with her crying game. She is soo fugly when she cries! On the feeds Eric said he's had the Woobie for 20 years and his mom gave it back to him right before he left for the show. But that could just be some story BB made up for him. I think Eric's policy of "look but don't touch" with Jess is getting to him. From Jokers it sounds like he's in need of a COLD SHOWER(or something else). Although we know it was only a matter of a few hours between when BB asked America about the Woobie and he gave it to Jess. most of America will not see it until Tues.
As for Dani/Amber deal it was that Amber would not put Dani up but nothing was said about Dick! Maybe Dani is figuring IF Amber won HOH she would put up Dick and Dani knows most of the house wants him gone(E/J would jump ship if everyone else was).
Amber could be the poster child for "This is your brain on drugs"....how sad!! She doesn't seem to know the severity of the damage that has been done to her brain. I hope her boyfriend isn't as messed up as she is, otherwise, there is no hope for her daughter to live a normal life!!

Jen going would be smart and the strategic move, but I would rather 'Amber go cuz she is such a fool and a bore. Also Jen is more fun to look at. I think the reason they didn't tell Dustin and won't tell the rest of the expelled houseguests that Eric is a ringer is so people can still vote for him if he is in the final 2.

Hi everyone I am new here. I am a big BB8 fan & watch BB8 After Dark on Showtime every night. If I can't stay up to watch it I have my DVR record it.
Anyway, has anyone seen the comment Eric made last night/early this morning in the BR at 4:22am BBT? I am sorry but Eric was way too cocky boasting he just won $30,000.00. Because he had just given his Woobie to Jessica. I think BB saw the votes coming in & the majority was not in favor of Eric giving the Woobie to Jessica. I think we the viewers should make his tasks a little harder.
I really want to see Jameka go this week. I also loathe Amber but Jameka's facial quirks & how fast she chews are driving me insane!
But that is just my opinion & I don't want to get anyones panties in a bunch being new here.

If Dani back doors Jen, Jen will be really pissed off. I know anyone who is voted out will be pissed off. I know that Jen gets on a lot of ppl's nerves but she will be on the jury at the end. With D&D keeping her in & if they make it to the end, they will have someone on the jury not hating their guts. Since Jen is a good player & has a good chance at winning HOH again, it is better for D&D to keep her in. They can get her to do their dirty work for them. Dani has already told Jameka & Amber why she put them up on the block. That it was not personal but because they both are so well liked by everyone in the house. I think in the end Dani will leave Amber & Jameka on the block & ask everyone to vote Amber out. Even though she has said she wants Jen gone this week. Or with the way Dani has not been talking to ED makes me think maybe she is working herself up to back door him instead.

I am so sorry to learn that Dani has made a deal with Amber. Amber is the most disgusting, unlikeable, phony person to ever be a contestant on Big Brother. I am sick and tired of her crying, whining and swearing on her daughter's life. She needs to go.

I'm torn on whether it's a good plan to get rid of Jen now or not. On one hand, it leaves the God Squad intact, which is bad... even if Jam can't play for HOH and Wahm will probably not win one, it's still a 2-person bloc of votes that I would feel shaky about, even if there was a "deal" on the table. On the other hand, Jen is dangerous, is more likely to win anything than just about everyone not named Daniele, and, most importantly, it doesn't piss anyone else off if she goes.
The question is, how much damage might Jen do if nominated?

So much for her daughter's life! Again - this goes to show how she and Jameka tailor their beliefs and morals to the situation (assuming she doesn't stick to the deal).
I finally, FINALLY, landed ons omeone I want to win and now Dani is going to backdoor her after offering (no deal mind you - just offered) that she had her back. What a nasty liar. I don't recall Jen making such a commitment but I could be wrong.
I just don't like the lying to people's faces business.
I still think Dick & Jen are Chilltown reincarnated for BB8. They're going to the end with Jen winning only $250K!
I am watching the live feeds now...Amber is asking Jameka who to put on the block next week because GOD told her she would win...Maybe her trip is to the loony bin and Danielle has to go to see how not to make the same mistakes
Hi everyone! I just read on Joker's live feed update that Dani used the POV, took Amber off the block & put Jen up against Jameka. Just wanted to let you all know.
Given how many thousands of times my teenage daughters voted for Eric to give his woobie to Jessica, it was probably a landslide. They even got more than a dozen friends to met them in a friend's parent's office where they could use hundreds of computers to vote all the way up to 3 in the morning!
There's no way we're going to out out-text or out-click a dozen 14 year old girls. Explains alot of the America's Choices actually.

I think getting Jen out right now is a mistake. She's proven that she will vote however the house wants her to vote so they can use that. She's only dangerous if she wins HOH and her chances aren't as good as D/D/J/E winning (it's 4 to 1). I think they do need to get Amber/Jameka out because like someone else says...they have 2 votes that can't be controlled. I would like to see Jen slip through to the final 2 though!

Dani did NOT lie about keeping Kail. Yes,she made an error in judgement by trusting the other hg's to keep to their promise of not voting against Kail. She did NOT want to get rid of Kail that week, and she was upset when Kail went home. You can not say she lied about that.
The thing with Jen. I watched it too and thought at first she was lying, but in that one scene, the way Jen worded it, she had made it so that Dani did not lie. I can't recall the exact words, but first Jen said something like, I hope you still have my back. Dani made no comment before Jen then said, "I know I still have yours" and THAT's the point where Dani said "oh of course". Dani was replying to the 2nd half of what Jen said. And there was a pause in between first and 2nd parts of Jens speech. I thought Dani was going to be lying too when that occurred, but then realized Dani is smart and it was as I just explained.
And even if Dani would have lied, which she didn't on those two things, but tell me a houseguest that hasn't lied yet? And tell me of a houseguest that insists that they never lie while lying? Even Jessica has lied.
They really wanted it to go to Jessica. ("It belongs to her," one of their friends said.)

Well, since Dani took Amb off and put up Jen, at least she is sticking to her gameplan since she got HOH.
Eric was in the diary room one time talking about his girlfriend. Saying they never discussed what he could or couldn't do in the house and he hoped she understood everything he was doing was for strategy.
Then just the other day he tells Dani that it's an on again, off again relationship, blah blah blah. So I think he was lying to Dani for some reason. More strategy I guess.
And even if what he told Dani were true, he needs to NOT be flirting until he decides if he's a couple already or not.
And how dirty of him to be leading a young gullible 21 year old girl on like he is just for a game. And if he truly is interested in her, he should still wait till he's out of the house and decides about the relationship he's already in. Either end it and THEN start flirting, or stop flirting and stick to the girlfriend he has already.
After all, so many posters here are saying how wrong it was of Dani when she had a boyfriend already.
Isn't Jessica a little too old to be talking like such a little girl and acting like a very young teen? Her voice kills me. And the way she giggles and flirts with Eric and they talk about marriage, etc. How childish. I remember my kids acting like that in junior high when they had crushes. Talking about marriage,and yet not even dating yet etc. Jessica and Eric are like two 8th graders and then they want to down Nick for the letter he sent Dani? That's like the pot calling the kettle black isn't it?
And to give that stupid woobie to her? Yet another teen thing. Jessica needs to start acting like the college girl she is and not like a junior high schooler. And the same for Eric! All the stuff he does is very childish, and isn't he 26 years old? Grow up already!

I also am wondering what was being stated in the song about "always drink upstream from the herd". At the end there were two questions and both answers were Chick George. Is he going to be visiting for 3 days at some point?
I was just curious if anyone has been trying to watch the show and put the clues together and come up with anything. Just curious.

So let me see.... Amber swore on her daughter to keep Eric, then found out he was spreading her secret, chewed him to pieces, but then had to keep her word to keep him in the house. Now, once again, she has sworn on her daughters to not nominate Daniele IF(big IF there guys)she wins HOH this week, but has told Jameka she WILL nominate Daniele if she gets the HOH (since God told her)@@!! Well I'm sure Amber & Jameka will pray to God for forgiveness for the lie & all will be well?? These two & the way they use their religion & God in this game is such a slap in the face to people who actually do hold their relgion in high regards. Plus listening to Amber pray to us, uh oops, I mean to God last night makes me sick. I'm not a super religious person, but I do find offense in the way they use it to portray themselves in a Holyier-than-thou light. Maybe when God talks to Amber, he is crying in hysterics over her dumbness & she just isn't hearing him right, because so far, she predicts something that God has shown her & POOF!!!!.....nothing.
I do not have a good feeling about Dani taking Amber off and puting Jen up.
I like Dani, but I think she may have made a mistake.
But Jen is a threat and would go after Dick and Dani, so I dunno. We will see, hard one to call.
I just thought the point of the deal was to first cut the fat (A and D)

As far as Jess and Eric, honestly I may be in the minority, but they bore me.

Actually in voting.... You can only vote 10 times MAX from both your computer or texting. It will let you keep voting, but the votes do not count after 10 from your computer or cell phone. Any more than that & you are just waisting time. :) Cleaning cookies won't help. CBS limits their intake of votes so that we do not have a repeat of Season 1, where Chicken Georges family organized a call center for people to come down & vote like crazy (back in the only season where America voted out the HG's) :)
Does anyone know the meaning of 1-5-3 in Nicks letter to Dani? I know that code for "I love you" is 1-4-3 (number of letters in each word) so what's with the 5?
To the best of my knowledge Eric/Jess have not kissed, held hands, or even slept all night together. Most times they are very close to each other but hardly touching. And his relationship outside the house is questionable. It had been a long distance one for over a year. The criticism of Dani/Nick is that she was in a committed relationship(for two years and living with him), her and Nick spent LOTS of time "under the covers", there was some serious kissing going on(those were not just sounds!) and lots of snuggling. I'm not saying Eric is innocent but I believe he has pretty good restraint. Not many guys could have a pretty,young, blonde flirting with you and not react. His GF told him "do what you have to for the game and we'll see where we're at after it's done(that's paraphrased-but the jist of it).
Patty--I don't think those sayings meant anything. I think that was done to throw off the HG--they were all concentrating on the saying and not the actual characters which is what the questions were about. You know BB, they're pretty creative that way...LOL

Earlier today on the live feed they had the POV ceremony. Even though it was blacked out. Right after you could tell what happened. Dani used the POV & took Amber off the block. She put Jen up in her place.

LMAO Amber/Jameka will both backstab D & D, not only will they state God lead them , They'll also mostly likely say it's for Dustin, I didn't want Amber taken off the block simply because Dani actually believes those two will remain truthful, however I never believed they would and they'll provide a so-called excuse, Jen IMO would have been more trusting despite having made various comments, Amber/ Jameka may have just started playing @@ Haha,though their all taking for granted that Jameka wouldn't be able to be HOH for awhile is beyond stupidity; for don't they know, status could change at any time during a POV comp, which could give Jameka a bye pass, Wow won't they all be shocked if next POV a pass for HOH is added. Well if WahAmber/Jameka end up pulling it off, then Dani, should have known better. Hey nothing is ever a set game plan, I expect a utimate surprise.
Why hasn't D&D picked on Jen lobbying for them to go on the block? It seems like everything else travels fast and would get back to them. I would put her up just for that alone regardless of any previous deal. However, that shifts the cards to Eric and Jessica because the can more easily manipulate Amber and Jameka. Jen is the bigger threat.
I did like Dick's converstaion with Jameka and Amber because it furthered his "I am upfront" thing. Maybe he can make some in roads with Jameka's. Her suspicions are a day late and a $ short, but at least she is thinking. Amber *&$^$*#.

I agree Jingles... That is excatly why Jackie is the best. I try to watch SHo2 and find myself dying of boredem. Dick absolutely the only one that has anything to offer entertainment wise. Danielle whining, Ambers tidbits of wisdom/insight, and constant whispering from Eric, Jessica, and Jameka are so annoying, but I can't get enough. Thanks Jackie......
Orkmommy... I've read the "terms" below the voting in the Americas Player section on the CBS BB site & read about it on another BB posting sight. I could be wrong, but after the big hoopla and outcry towards CBS in season 1, with the big vote manipulation by CG's family & friends, I'm pretty sure they have made it to where one group of people would have a hard time manipulating it again.
Thats a big reason why American Idol bugs me, because I just know theres a ton of teeny boppers out there with nothing better to do than to vote for a full two hours for the "cutest guy/girl" on the show... Grrrrrr! Lol! :)

ROFLMAO, Amber did it again. On the live feed at 2:12pm BBT Jameka & Amber are talking about how the other house guests are talking bad about Dustin saying he is ugly or something. The convo goes like this "Jameka said, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Amber says, "What does that mean? I've heard it but I don't know what it means." Jameka goes on to explain it to her. I almost peed myself laughing when I read it.
I have thought that Eric's name is not in that POV competition bag.
I guess if he won there wouldn't be enough time for BB to have an AP vote about what he should do with it.
I never thought about them telling him not to get HOH. I thought maybe he was blowing it so he wouldn't have to deal with our votes.
Eric and Jessica are not a showmance, and BB should stop pushing it already, it's stupid. I actually LIKE the fact that there aren't pimps and hos there this year except for the brief Nick/Dani fling we saw. Although, put Dr. Will back in there and I'm all for showmance...sigh.

Also agree about Eric/Jessica. Not showmance material in my book. Admittedly, I'm not a big Jess fan. I think she's playing very smart but I still think she's a transplant from "Mean Girls" and still has that mentality. I know many think she's great and that's fine but I just don't have a good feeling about her anyway. Of course, I'm just a grinch because I'm not much of an Eric fan, either. Oh, I think he's been very clever with his cover stories, etc, for AP but I'm still not a fan. He too easily becomes vicious for my taste, even covering as if he's joking.
As far as outside of the house, I doubt Jessica would have given Eric the time of day and her family (not having known any Jewish people, let alone someone from New York) would not likely be supportive of the relationship. Yes, I know, my opinion and pure conjecture...but hey, others make some major leaps, I thought I'd do it, too.
