TV Squad - The Jen-terview

I never could figure out why so many people were so upset about the way Jen was "verbally abused" when she obviously never thought she was. She just thought it was annoying. Go figure!
What happens in the sequester house? Can they read papers or watch TV? Do they get to watch the live feeds? Who are the people Jen refers to being able to talk to?
Suich - They can't watch the feeds, use a computer, etc. Any contact with the outside world is very limited, if it exists at all. I imagine they can get movie DVDs and novels, listen to music. The people could range from the folks interviewing her to the handlers in the house. The HG are also not supposed to talk about the game from my understanding.

Because being called a bitch and a c**t among other things isn't abusive in the least. I get called those names like all the time and it's no biggie! (insert BIG eyeroll)
I have a theory that Jen pulled a Marcellas, and she won't be going to the sequester house with Dustin. She said "depends on what they offer me". I think they'd offer her a private place somewhare to herself... just to keep her in the vote for the jury.
She will be there on question and answer night and wisked back away to her own private sequester. Ya think? Seems plausible when you consider the lengths she went to in staying in the house and saying she didn't want to go to sequester. Hmmmmmmmmm?
Hey Jackie... Loved the article on TV Squad.... just to let you know, about Jessica not knowing about Ikea. I live in Kansas City (missouri)- in my early 30's and I just found out what Ikea was in the Spring, because it was on Oprah or something... can't remember... any who
Jessica doesn't know 'cause we don't have them there shops like the big 'ole cities- The closest one was in Dallas- when I last checked. :-)

So you're saying that if Jackie permitted me to do so, me calling you a bunch of vile and hateful names wouldn't bother you, I suppose. Yeah, right. I believe that!
Anon - 11:01 ; All I said ( and as Deanna also explained) (thanks Deanna) was that if Jen didn't think it was abuse, then how can it be abuse? If someone called you vile names and you consider it to be abusive, then it is. Jen saw it as part of the game. Every interview finds her stating that fact over and over. Everyone is different and everyone has different levels of tolerance. Jen's tolerance level is obviously different from yours. That's all.
Joy, I don't care whether Jen thinks it's abusive or not, although I find it hard to believe that any woman would put up with that sort of behavior without thinking there is something terribly wrong with it--it's degrading and offensive to women. Those names were screamed at her in an attempt to humiliate, silence and shame her. It's hateful, abusive behavior. The "it's just a game excuse" isn't flying with me.
The other thing I don't get about Dick and the other houseguests is how they cannot stop bringing Jen's name up any chance they can--Dick moreso than anyone. I think he's just pissed she told him not to touch her during that butter competition and bruised his male ego from the get go.
Anon 12:27... Having been in a very physical and verbally abusive relationship for 5 years, I think I KNOW what abuse feels and looks like. I do not think Dick is verbally abusing anyone on the show and it is the people who complain about these such things that give the words more power.
If ANY of the HG's felt threatened or abused, they would have left the show or demanded that Dick be removed. To sit around with him the next day and laugh or joke about the occurances, is a clear cut sign of how these HG's view Dick. They realize it is gameplay, why can't everyone else??
The website listed below is a joke. People with nothing better to do then to complain about shows that I'm sure they will continue to watch. I too Joy, give up!
Give Dick's words more power... keep complaining!lol!!!!!
