Right now, Julie is on ... but first, it's a trip back to the Bunny Hop -- the part one from the other night.
Julie tells the rules again. Daniele tells us that she told her dad that she's doomed if it has anything to do with cold water. Mud is shot as if from guns! They're hopping!
Dick has started his intimidation of Zach. Daniele went from laughing to saying how cold she is. The bunny did slow went she went off. She heads to the shower crying.
Zach is giving a rather odd tirade back at Dick. The bunny is dead, but they didn't mention it. Daniele is pep-talking Dick -- "Vincent's watching now and extremely porud of you." Five hours in and they haven't mentioend the dead bunny in the middle of the comp. Dick is wearying. Daniele tells him she loves him.
Seven hours in, Dick is looking bad. Daniele tells us watching her father in so much pain and freakin' cold "sucks, it just sucks." Zach is shivering now and then. After Daniele keeps telling him its okay to quit, Dick does.
Daniele tells us how proud she is of him, Zach even gives him a pat on the back. Dick is wrapped in a big towel, smoking and shivering.
Dick tells us that he feels he let his daughter down in addition to himself, but might not have gone on as long as he did. Now it's Daniele's turn to peptalk Dick.
Zach tells us that he officially "broke" Dick like a drill sergeant.
Dick and Daniele are going to the second part -- Chain of Command -- Clear pieces of a puzzle with a wavy red line must be moved from one tank to another to connect the houseguests with the red line.
Dick seemed more confident with good reason - 24:09 minutes for Daniele ,12:48 Dick. He wins the second part and will go up against Zach in the final part.
Dick tells us his goal is to take Daniele to the final two with him -- their fairytale ending. Zach thinks he can beat Dick in a mental game as he already has donwe in a physical game.
Julie is asking Daniele about their relationship, stepping block. Dick said Daniele was why he stayed as long as he did. Zach tuning out Dick, he says his legs and mind were numb.
There will be an Eric and Jessica romance/showmance segment coming up in addition the the final part of the Head of House.
Aw, Eric and Jessica are in love. Dustin and Amber think so. Then Jameka arrives. Dustin says he, Jameka and Amber will hang out. Jameka introduces the DVD of the nominations -- complete with Zach's "muscle" speech which impressed the jury.
No Jen? Hmmm...
The final part of the HOH is ready to start -- Dick and Zach. How well did you get to know your former HG this summer. She will read statements by a former HG, give two choices of a finish.
First round, goes to Dick.
Second -- both wrong, Jen thinks she was stronger than Daniele
Round thee - both right
Round four - both wrong
Round five - Both right
Last question - Both wrong
DICK WINS -- HE's the final HOH!
Zach is a gentleman, offers them both his hand. Dick is out of his mind with joy. We won EVERYTHINg! We DID IT!
Time for the live eviction, Julie says they must go through the formal steps. She tells Zach to speak. Zach tells them he played against the best of the best and doesn't expect to be saved, Dick can remember his invention when he has the money. Daniele is giddy about being there with her Dad. "There is no deicison, Zach you're out -- Daniele we won the WHOLE thing!"
Dick is dancing and kicked the trash pail. Dick and Daniele are happy, happy, happy!
Julie talks to Zach -- biggest game moves -- lay low, ride on Dick and Daniele's coattails. He then interacted more socially, but it didn't happen. Zach thinks Dick's tactics didn't work on him, but worked on others. Zach thinks they're both good people, will be friends eventually. He said he never really aligned with D&D.
Goodbye messages -- Daniele considers him a friend. He hurt her feelings, but it's a game. Sorry. Dick -- You put up a hell of a flight, but you're not a master strategizer. Sorry to see you go, but it means Daniele is here, so not sorry.
America's Player - Who do we want Eric to vote for to win BB8? Daniele or Dick? He also gets to campaign for the person.

I'm very disturbed watching this competition for a number of reasons.
first, dick should have just shut up. i am tired of his ranting, i really am. what good did it do?
for some reason i thought the water was a constant, appears they turned it off here and there, but my goodness, what was that stuff that came shooting out at them?
zach really stayed focus i'll give him that much.
this is the first time seeing danielle as human and decent.
dick looks so frail.

He was like a drill sargent..it was so bad, i felt ill listening to Dick that nite. He said words I wouldnt have dreamt of using to Zach. Thats what he meant...He looked at it as dick is the sargent and it rolled rite off of him.
I'm just glad to finally see what caused her to quit. Her foot actually slipped off as she kept stepping backward. She needed to quit anyway, she was freezing.
The way CBS oput the footaghe together it makes it look like the father and daughter are very close and you almost want to see them win.
Zach chould have been given some sort of kpriase from Dani, but alas she is a brat to the end.

The way Dick has played the game, I would vote personal too. All he did was attack people. I have watched this show for a long time, and whether he is in the final two or not, I think it was a sad way to play.
it certainly appeared as if she was handing zach a towel, i think zach was really focused in on dick melting (for lack of a better word).

As much as I do not like Dick's trash mouth, you've got to give him a lot of credit for staying so long. He's about half Zach's age and did really well. I could NOT last that long with COLD water pouring on me like that. It's inhumane. How terrible! Got to give Zach credit, though, he's pretty durable. He stayed focused. However, I do not believe he did not wear Dick down. Dick got tired on his own. 7-8 hours is a LONG time for someone to stand in cold water pouring down on you. Very mean, someone could have gotten really sick.
It was interesting to find out Dani told Dick to trash talk Zach. Wow. But, I think she's done that before.
I do agree, Dani is very self centered. I also do not believe Dick is that bad out of the house. It's like he said before, he wants to keep the limelight off his daughter. If he can do that by being trashy mouthed, he said he was going to do it. And, you've got to admit, he's very good at it. But, will people look at that as stategy for the game, or will they just look at him as a really horrible person? It could go either way.
The only thing I don't like about the last few episodes of BB is how people perceive those left. They are out of the house, so who played the better game? They're mad because they're out, and they didn't like the way D&D played. They could have played differently, but the didn't.
We'll see how the jury operates. Will they go on game play or absolute hatred for D&D? Got to admit though, they should have seen Zach's turn around coming, it was bound to happen.

my thoughts are this - years of not speaking to each other, lasting three months together in a house, working stuff out, now a few days totally alone.
this has to really be a special time in both their lives, money aside, because it only helped to bring them together.

Actually it was Eric's choice to keep Dick not America's. He could have just been the "hinky vote" again. Zack had promised his vote to Jessica. If Eric sticks with a Dick ouster and lets Zack vote his way, would have been 3-3 with Jess the tie-breaker sending Dick home.
Blame Eric, don't blame America. It was HIS choice.

Eric's vote wasn't the one that kept Dick in the game. It was Zack's vote. Zack promised his vote to Jess. Eric had to vote for Dustin to go, but he DIDN'T HAVE TO convince Jess and Zack to do so also.
If Eric just left it alone, he could have cast his vote, let Zack vote for Dick and Jess break the tie. Dick would have gone home.

I respectfully disagree and could support it with Dick's own words. He named a bunch of other teams and said "they couldn't do it". Do what? Get both members into the final 2, that's all he's talking about.
I'm sure he thinks they are the best team based on that criteria. You could choose another criteria if you like, but Dick at least has an arguable case.
That was the point of him being America's player, to do what he was being told. He swayed her vote. He wouldn't have if he was playing the game for himself. He wasn't a fan of Dick at that point. So I disagree too!
BORING! Turn off the feeds, nothing to see here. The only thing left is the AP vote. I say vote none of the above. Make this the lowest vote CBS gets all season to show our disgust.
I feel sorry for you Jackie if your going to blog the next few days since it will be just bragging and bad mouthing of former HGs. I don't think any of us will hold against you if you just take a rest til Tuesday.

Hey, let them celebrate a little. It has been over 70 days, some of which were physically and/or emotionally grueling. I wouldn't be able to use their tactics (I was rooting for Mike early on, and we see where that got him...), but they won the comp together, and that counts for something. Maybe, maybe they have found a way back into each other's lives. At the very least, they now have the bucks to pay for some good family therapy... and some long vacations.
Joe, Dick has been full of himself this whole game, why would it be different now?
Wow. Got to feel kind of sorry for Zach. He lasted a long time on the carrot, but really didn't know his fellow housemates that well. I don't even think Danielle could have done better than her dad. I'm proud of myself, I got them all right! LOL
Can't say everything bad about Dani, though. She won all those VETO competitions. Her downfall is her me, me, me attitude. And, let's give Dick some credit, too. We didn't agree with some of his tactics, but they worked for him and he did play well. It's as he said, Dani and he did what no other partnered team has ever done in BB. They made it to the end. No, they really weren't paired, but it is interesting that they were at odds with each other when they got to the house, but now are doing okay.
After saying all that, I give the win to Dick. This is a game and I still believe he played it better than the others. Dick actually had a strategy. Dani and he are STILL there after being put up on the block, how many times? I think they should be given some credit.
I also think the jury will be surprised to find out that many of the fans rooted for D&D. As much as the jury doesn't like them (jealous? yep), D&D succeeded where those on the jury did not.

I would hate to be in that jury house and have to vote for either one. Daniele was great in competitions, but her attitude, well, "sucks". Dick's rants were horrible and he was so/so on competitions. It's truly a toss-up. Lesser of two evils. It's really how I felt with the Mike win of last year. Will I still watch? You bet. I am looking forward to the show after the finale.

gotcha, just did not see what you meant...eric took america's player to a serious extent not even getting that at times he was being totally messed with! he was a weasel, i will agree...but his fatal decision was convincing jess to get rid of amber and not D&D...to each their own I guess!
