Right now, Julie is on ... but first, it's a trip back to the Bunny Hop -- the part one from the other night.
Julie tells the rules again. Daniele tells us that she told her dad that she's doomed if it has anything to do with cold water. Mud is shot as if from guns! They're hopping!
Dick has started his intimidation of Zach. Daniele went from laughing to saying how cold she is. The bunny did slow went she went off. She heads to the shower crying.
Zach is giving a rather odd tirade back at Dick. The bunny is dead, but they didn't mention it. Daniele is pep-talking Dick -- "Vincent's watching now and extremely porud of you." Five hours in and they haven't mentioend the dead bunny in the middle of the comp. Dick is wearying. Daniele tells him she loves him.
Seven hours in, Dick is looking bad. Daniele tells us watching her father in so much pain and freakin' cold "sucks, it just sucks." Zach is shivering now and then. After Daniele keeps telling him its okay to quit, Dick does.
Daniele tells us how proud she is of him, Zach even gives him a pat on the back. Dick is wrapped in a big towel, smoking and shivering.
Dick tells us that he feels he let his daughter down in addition to himself, but might not have gone on as long as he did. Now it's Daniele's turn to peptalk Dick.
Zach tells us that he officially "broke" Dick like a drill sergeant.
Dick and Daniele are going to the second part -- Chain of Command -- Clear pieces of a puzzle with a wavy red line must be moved from one tank to another to connect the houseguests with the red line.
Dick seemed more confident with good reason - 24:09 minutes for Daniele ,12:48 Dick. He wins the second part and will go up against Zach in the final part.
Dick tells us his goal is to take Daniele to the final two with him -- their fairytale ending. Zach thinks he can beat Dick in a mental game as he already has donwe in a physical game.
Julie is asking Daniele about their relationship, stepping block. Dick said Daniele was why he stayed as long as he did. Zach tuning out Dick, he says his legs and mind were numb.
There will be an Eric and Jessica romance/showmance segment coming up in addition the the final part of the Head of House.
Aw, Eric and Jessica are in love. Dustin and Amber think so. Then Jameka arrives. Dustin says he, Jameka and Amber will hang out. Jameka introduces the DVD of the nominations -- complete with Zach's "muscle" speech which impressed the jury.
No Jen? Hmmm...
The final part of the HOH is ready to start -- Dick and Zach. How well did you get to know your former HG this summer. She will read statements by a former HG, give two choices of a finish.
First round, goes to Dick.
Second -- both wrong, Jen thinks she was stronger than Daniele
Round thee - both right
Round four - both wrong
Round five - Both right
Last question - Both wrong
DICK WINS -- HE's the final HOH!
Zach is a gentleman, offers them both his hand. Dick is out of his mind with joy. We won EVERYTHINg! We DID IT!
Time for the live eviction, Julie says they must go through the formal steps. She tells Zach to speak. Zach tells them he played against the best of the best and doesn't expect to be saved, Dick can remember his invention when he has the money. Daniele is giddy about being there with her Dad. "There is no deicison, Zach you're out -- Daniele we won the WHOLE thing!"
Dick is dancing and kicked the trash pail. Dick and Daniele are happy, happy, happy!
Julie talks to Zach -- biggest game moves -- lay low, ride on Dick and Daniele's coattails. He then interacted more socially, but it didn't happen. Zach thinks Dick's tactics didn't work on him, but worked on others. Zach thinks they're both good people, will be friends eventually. He said he never really aligned with D&D.
Goodbye messages -- Daniele considers him a friend. He hurt her feelings, but it's a game. Sorry. Dick -- You put up a hell of a flight, but you're not a master strategizer. Sorry to see you go, but it means Daniele is here, so not sorry.
America's Player - Who do we want Eric to vote for to win BB8? Daniele or Dick? He also gets to campaign for the person.

His vote was cast by AP. He was not required to convince everyone else to vote that way. He got paid to do it, but he didn't have to, he chose to.
And I think it was a good move. Got he and Jess to the final 6.
ANON 8:49 -- I have a question for you and I am sincere in my query. Do you geniunely think that this will be a special time for Daniele with her father? Yes for Dick, but you think she's sincere?
In my view, If Dani was not in the F2 right now, I think she'd be moping and bitchy and cold as ice to Dick, now and out of the house. I can't figure out how we could both see the same stuff and come out with such different perspectives.
I think all her "encouragement" and finally pulling out an I love you to Dick while he was in the first comp was motivated by greed not compassion. She's manipulative, I beileve that's her unfortunatel MO ( I have some compassion for why that is, I have my theories, but I digress).
It was only in the end when she got him a towel and hugged him really tight that I saw the first and last moment of genuine love and caretaking from her toward him. And it evaporated as fast as it came on, once he was crying in the bedroom. She was back to game... I don't see it as her trying to pep him up. It was blind ambition in my eyes.
Oh NO! Thanks Jackie for another great season. I am done with BB for this year. I cannot support nor stand to watch two lesser human beings gloat and win the prize money. Intimidation, bullying, degradation is the lowest form of game play IMO.

They came in as a team. This is true. Will and Boogie didn't make it to the final two, neither did Daniele and Jason. Even the Season 6 who were teamed with others didn't make it.

If you read both of my posts again, I explained that Eric's VOTE was not what sent Dick home. IT was also convincing Jess and, therefore, Zack to save Dick that did. That was separate from his vote.
It was 4-2 for Dustin. If zack votes the way he and Jess wanted, it was 3-3 with Jess casting the tie-breaking vote to send Dick home.
Not even arguable, really, but feel free.
And AP did have some effect, but not strictly the one you are ascribing to it.
i for one will be glad to now tune into survivor and watch everyone pick on the players they don't like (NOT).
geeze people, this is a game. NONE OF US ARE IN IT - how can you say how you would play, how they would edit you and how the world would perceive you.
regardless, D/D made it to the final, it's only the two of them left standing. zach will certainly profit, he advertised his dolphin stuff enough and he'll be sponsored and whatnot. dick will go back to his bar and danielle to her bar and feel their 15 minutes of fame for just that - 15 minutes. give them the kudos they deserve. they are walking away with a nice sum of money, albeit taxes will eat a chunk, but they did earn it. whether by scare tactics, verbal abuse, crying, bratting, or winning competitions or actually working together as a team, THEY DID IT.
go dick and go danielle. congrats on your win and enjoy your winnings, whether you blow through it or not, ENJOY IT. i hope you also enjoy your 15 minutes of fame.
next year we will all be remembering you and how you played when we are watching BB9.
BB9 though needs some revamping, new producer and better choosing of contestants. this year with the exception of jen, dick and danielle, none of them really sparked anything whatsoever IMO

The only task that Eric had no choice in was the vote - it was cast for him. He was always free to not do a task assigned to him.
I don't care who wins but we have all been here all summer. I think that might be the reason people are still here.
anon 9:08- eric had to vote the way america said, you may remember that he did not campaign for the 1st couple of AC, but then they announced that the task was only completed if the houseguest America chose was evicted!

I should clear up some of my other posts, I do like to think outside the box and make others see circumstances from a different perspective.
I really am from Kansas and you can't get much more conservative than Kansans. I only have one tattoo and there is no way I would paint my nails, paint my hair or go to the extremes Dick did on the personal attacks.
Still Dick was in an environment where that is accept and apparently encouraged by BB. He played by the rules and ruled. He deserves to win.
Actually Danielle did an excellent job. I believe she tied the record for veto wins and also won at least two HOH.
Still, even though Dick was somewhat extreme, he played the best. I congratulate them both.

You don't have "old-timer's" disease (bit of ageism there, by the way), Eric's task included trying to sway the house. BUT HE DIDN'T HAVE TO, he just wouldn't get paid for a task completed if he didn't.
And that really wasn't a bad decision. It got them to the final 6 and they had a chance to backdoor Dani there (much like D/D turned on them the next week) but didn't take it. That was the big mistake, which had little to do with AP since AP had no control over the veto
What if the "jury" refused to vote for either of them? Wondering what CBS would/could do about it? Breach of contract suit, perhaps? Big deal. It would be fabulous if the whole jury just simply refused! Ha!

Some people posting here are truly pathetic. I read Jackie's blog all year, and have read comments all summer regarding Dick and Daniele and the rest of the houseguests. For the majoirty of the year most of you have been a D and D fan. You wanted D and D when Jen put them up, you wanted D and D when they were up 2 other times. And now, when they are both in the final you guys CRY. I think that people need to stick by someone from the beginning to the end. Get over it people, we see people play different games, and yes, for those who dont think so D and D played the best game, you rooted for them, and now because they are both in the finals you are not going to watch. Yes this season sucked creative wise, the producer was terrible. But you owe it to BB and D and D to watch to the end. Zach was a floater he didnt deserve to win. To have someone who has a style like Dick to make it to the final 2 is amazing. Zach played well in one aspect, he was able to "allign" with the right people. And Daniele was Daniele. She won a lot of competitions, and won when she needed to.
I dont care who wins, just watch and let it play out and stop being fair weather fans and get over it. Jackie does too much work to have to look at this bickering, people they played a good game, get over it.

Seeing the Jury House really brought home to me the only reason I ever considered hoping Dick might win it all. It was a process of elimination. As unappealing as he and his strategy were to me, he wasn't any of those who left. What a bunch this year.
Only reason to hang around now will be to wait until Eric is unveiled.
I must be seeing things 'cause I saw Jen drinking champayne with them when Jameka arrived and when they watched TV.
I don't know how Zach made it as far as he did in the game, but he did accomplish his original mission, which was to let viewers know he needed money for his invention

I disagree. Just as the houseguest's change their opinions about each other as the weeks unfold, we viewers change our opinions about the relative strengths/weaknesses of each houseguest. It's great when there is a player you really like/respect and can root for them from the get-go. But that is not always the case. Or that person gets evicted and you have to root for someone else.
I was genuinely interested in and moved by Daniele's and Dick's situation during the first month or so, then became disenchanted with their behavior. Although I wasn't a Zach fan, I was rooting for him tonight just to keep the suspense going for another week. I'm disappointed that the finale won't be a "face-off". We'll see what the producers can do to manufacture some drama.

Naturally Dick was excited--he's an emotional guy. Anyone would have done that. They spent the summer in a pressure cooker.

I am so tired of hearing that Daniele is a brat! My goodness, she can do nothing right.... Once she realized Dick was in serious distress she told him it was okay to stop. She does love him. It seems like her pain is very deep and it has taken alot to get to where she can tell him she loves him. Not a brat, just a daughter of a 44 year old guy who lives a party life and has a foul mouth!! Give a girl a break. She has been working against the grain her whole life.

I must admit, even though I think Dick deserves to win, he does make me a bit uncomfortable. I just can't tell how much of it is game, how much of it is naked id, how much of it is editing...
He actually appeared to be a good sport after Round 1. And he tried to be a good sport after Round 3, but he was so desperately trying to celebrate with Dani that he could barely even see Zack.
I'm still hoping they can all sit down when it's over and acknowledge how they each helped each other get to the final 3 - which Zack 1/2 did in his Julie interview.
I have the feeds on and about 25 minutes ago you could hear dick saying we won 550,000.00.....Anyway it goes down in the finale i believe they are going to split it. I don't think Dani will be that stingy in the end since I believe that Dick will win....
SSW, you should know better than to argue or disagree with "Joe in NY." He is the foremost authority on all BB matters and strategy and if you don't believe me, just ask him. I usually skip over his posts because they are condescending and verbose but he has some kind of spell cast on a few of the regulars around here.
I think people call her a brat because of all the whining for the last three months. She did did well in the comps, but did complain about everyone and everything.

Dani annoys me, and I'm not 100% sure why. That said, there seems to be a lot more hatred for her than seems reasonable based on anything she did. She played pretty nice, occasionally used her father like a pit bull, but people hate her more than Dick. Her job was to win comps, Dick's was to alternately shmooze and intimidate. Seems like at most you would be indifferent to Dani.
I was kidding earlier when I said they should get their own TV show, but I really would like to see how their relationship progresses. Going through something like this together has to change it - but whether it leads to a permanent reconciliation...it would be interesting to see.

I think Dick acted like a jerk to keep the others from hassling Dani. He even said in a couple of episodes that was why he was doing that. You can get under people's skin by never shutting up.
It didn't work all the time because whereas they couldn't get under Dick's skin, they could rattle Dani.
I think Dick is a trashy-mouthed sob. However, look at his background...he hangs around with a rough crowd. You see these hard metal rockers on TV and they all talk that way. I'm not saying it's right, but if it's a second nature to him, he's going to do it. If you watched BB1, the winner, Eddie, was a very foul mouthed, nasty person. I did not like him at all, but it was his nature. Whether they were good or bad, he had reasons he acted the way he did. I would have rather seen good natured Josh win, but he didn't. I didn't like last year's winner, Boogie; and I think he was worse than Dick. Boogie was sneaky. Dick doesn't hold anything back. Different tactics for different people.
Most people do get pretty upset when you verbally attack their family or you. Amber cried almost all the time. It was his tactic and it did work. He's a perfect person to take to the final two. I think he will win.

From the moment Dick was ahead by 1 question, I was on the edge of my seat.
What could Sunday's show possibly be? I can't remember what they do...replay the whole seson with final 2 commentary?
Seeing those people in the jury house reminded me how hard it was to really like anyone this season.

I have wanted D&D in the final two the whole season. Or should I say I wanted Dick to win..not sure butI think its the same.
Just went in cast my 10 votes..Five for each. I am sorry I know they will split the money in the end with Dick taking out what Dani owes..The sharing rule can't really apply here can it?
If thats the case then Boogie and the Dr Will have broken the rules. Dr Will has put his money into the nightclubs that Boogie wanted to open. Didn't he help finance all of the clubs and restaurants(along with some actors)

Well, its been the perfect season for this BB fan. I'm like Janelle in that I enjoy the fights, the DRAMA (see her Housecalls episodes for reference). Dick provided the drama this year. So.... I liked Dick from day one in the house. He was controversial and made the entire show this season. A house full of Dustin and Ambers, and well... just all of them would have been boring... make that BORING! The feeds get mighty so when there is NO drama in the house.
Dick and Daniele are the first pair to ever make it to the final two and there is no disputing that... PERIOD. Chilltown Will and Boogie didn't do it (either S2 or S7 All Stars); Danielle and Jason didn't do it (S3); none of the exes did it (S4); the twins, nor Nakomis and Cowboy did it (S5); none of the pairs (all of them, when there was ONE million up for grabs) did it (S6), and so it goes.
Dick was absolutely correct in his thinking and it needed to be said. This game takes a lot of brain, skill, and luck. The Donato's were the first and ONLY pair to make it to FINAL TWO!!!

With nothing left for competition, I wish they'd just hold the finale on Sunday night. Not for the sake of suspense, but boredom of the last two HG.
Anyway, voting for Dani so she can get herself an education. The whole 250k (after taxes) will just cover it these days.

I kind of agree. I'm not sure I would have said they were the best pair ever, but they were clearly the most successful.
I also think it is very hard to be a successful team like that (which is why the other one's rarely even got to final 3) because it puts a big bullseye on their back.
Actually, I wish they had held off on the final eviction until Sunday. I think it would have been a much nicer send off for Zack and would have given us something to watch besides gloating Donatos for 5 days. At least with Zack still there they might have all made their peace.
I think it was kind of unfair to have the immediate elimination. Didn't allow time for negotiation. I mean it was easy for Dick, but maybe Zack would have liked to have thought about it had he won.

I answered you question about fishing on another thread but in case you didn't see it...what was I thinking...trying to fish with a broken paw. Casting was easy enough, but that pound and a half snapper almost took my rod n reel! Thank goodness there was someone else on the dock to save me. I rewarded him with the fish he reeled in. :)
I too want to see the reaction of the HG's when Eric's role is revealed! I missed when it would happen...before or after the vote?

No argument here joe in ny! :) Dick was all about the win tonight, and for him it was a win. Can't imagine how giddy he and Daniele actually did feel. If I could measure it by how giddy I felt, I would say it was awesome and a true 'Moment in Time'. That should be the theme song on the finale! :)

I imagine Daniele said mean things to Zach caz he had targeted her from the beginning as most of them had..all the while saying how awful Dick was. I think Dick said it best that they worked as one heck of a team and neither one would be there without the help of the other. Go Donato's..may your fav Donato win :)

I hope Dick wins because that will piss both of them off. Dani because her bubble will be burst regarding her delusional thinking that she is America's sweetheart, and Dick will be pissed that we all don't think his precious Dani is worth $500,000.
All my votes went to Dick, of course. I still have hope for he and Dani to heal their relationship. I'm rooting for them to do so.

Well it's a good thing this is JUST A GAME!! Otherwise I would be pissed, vowing to never watch BB again and eating a BIG bowl of "sour grapes". Instead I will have a bowl of ice cream and look forward to Survivor!!!!!
I was just watching some show on NY fashion week with Carmen Electra, and it popped into my head that Dick reminds me of Dave Navarro (spelling?).
Just listening to the feeds and Dick is telling Dani that the were great in the game together and this will put them on the road to patching things up. She says thats why I hate talking in here. I respect her to not air all the laundry on national TV. You know CBS would put that in the show. I applaude her for that.
I voted for each of them 10 times. My computer and husbands laptop.
Don't you think if there was another all-star version in 5 or 6 years, Dick wouldn't do it without Danielle, like Wil wouldn't do it without Boogie last year?
Wonder what the jury questions will be? I believe Eric and Zach will vote for Dick. What about everyone else?

I can't wait to see what happens next!! No not the season finalle. I mean the train wreak that is the Donato's. Can't you just imagine them with Money! Anyone hear of the lottery winners who went from having little to lots? It will tear them apart. I sincerly hope not (really), but past history and all. They will turn on each other, I give them a year tops. Wait till they remember they have to pay taxes on the $550,000. What will there final take be?
I had to work as usual and missed the show because I messed up the VCR and now have to wait until tomorrow to see it. Gawwd I hate it when I do that.

I feel so bad for Zach. I would have loved to have seen a Dick and Z final 2. I owuld have loved for Z to be in the final 2 with even Dani. I just wanted him to get something for being there besides the stipend. Is that wrong of me? Probably but I don't care. If you don't like it...Bite me.
I hate to admit it but I will. Dick IMO played a better game than Dani and I'm gonna have to give him my AP votes. Plus, he has two children and I think he probably would like to be able to help his son just as much as he wants to help his daughter.
As for Dani, she showed genuine compassion to Dick when he was in the endurance comp. She also showed it to Z. I think it shows the kind of person, she could be and actually might be one day when she grows up. Just please don't make me listen to her talk anymore.
As for the final show...I'm watching it. I want to see how everyone esp. Jess reacts to the AP reveal and I want to watch them as all the evicted HG's go up and vote for one of the dastardly duo and see what they have to say (I remember one of the best things from season 6 was Howie telling Maggie and Ivette off when he voted...That was great tv!). Most of all I want to see someone anyone call out Amber for her racist remarks and watch the look of dull comprehension come across her face that yes, in fact, we could see you 24 hours a day seven days a week and yes, we heard that and no we didn't approve it. And oh yes, you are not a good person Amber. So there.
I don't know if all of you will show up next week, so I'm gonna say it now. It was a blast argueing with you all. I have had a great time. I hate Survivor and I watch Heros over Lost so it might be next year before I speak to you all Again. Be good. Try your best anyway. Have fun.

On a side note, I was on another site, not to mention any names but Vincent was on there and was talking about how he had lost his apartment. I don't know if it's true or not. But still, I say we vote for Dick and that way, Vincent can get a little cash too.
America saved Dick and he was the best player, while Daniele was the best player competetion wise, get over it people, its a show watch and get over it. IF you want to change your views from week to week on who you like and dont like then dont come in the end and complain that the best pair are sitting in the final 2. You can say that its boring, but in retrospect, the whole season was boring the producers did a horrible job with Twists, and games and challanges, hope the GAME is better next year, not the people necessarily. I actually liked the cast, it was just that the new producer sucked at her job.

His vote was cast by AP. He was not required to convince everyone else to vote that way. He got paid to do it, but he didn't have to, he chose to.
WRONG. He had to make an effort to complete every task, he couldn't pick and choose. Part of his voting task was to sway votes at our direction, they always worded it as "who do you want Eric to get evicted. His lone vote doesn't get an iviction, he had to campaign.

He DID have to. He had to make an effort to do each task, every single one of them. That was part of the deal, he had to try whether he wanted to or not.

I told you...Zach was looking for jury votes when he put up the Donato's.
I was hoping that Zach would win and take Dick to the finals. Since he didn't win I will vote for Dick since he was the mastermind in this game. Daniele won the most POV's, but IMHO Dick played the best mind games.

In addition, I just now got back on the blog due to some stuff going on here... SYDNEY you couldn't believe my day...whew!!!!

I don't know how anyone could say that if it weren't for the AP that the Donatos wouldn't be still be there.... For one, if it wasn't for the AP vote a lot of things would have been different from the get go (Like Nick wouldn't have been blamed for vote and evicted) and the whole thing would have played out differently. You have to look at each move like a game of chess and know that with each week the house and their moves will shift dramatically... Plus, Eric went into the game knowing he would not actually be thinking for himself, and that his thoughts would not matter. So a majority of America controlled his mind and it really is no different than any other HG decisions... How can anyone know what woulda-coulda happened if one teeny tiny thing was different in BB house. Watch the Butterfly effect if you have any doubts.
Daniele WAS NOT being mean when she called Zack "Rogre" as he left the house, because it was his nickname. He knew that...
Their celebration was to be expected and ANYONE in their place would have done the same. Zack pumped his fist and hollered each time he won a comp and we all know he would have done the same. Dick shook Zack's hand and then celebrated some more. Their goodbye messages were sincere and even brought tears to Zacks eyes...nuff said!
I have no idea why people are saying that Dick did not do good in comps... He won the most HOH's this season and Daniele won the most POV's this season and tied Janelle's (POV QUEEN) record for the most in one season. In my book, that makes them very deserving to be sitting in the F2
I hope we get to see Zack showing up to the jury house... The look on the jury's face when they realize they will have to vote a DONATO is going to be priceless...
My vote will be for Dick, the best player to play the game. But RIGHT ON to the Donatos...A game WELL played!!!! :)~

Dick wants Dani to say hi to her grandmother (who raised her). Of course Dani says "No." So Dick looks into camera and says "Hi Mom, she's so mean." I think he'll find out just how mean if she wins the money and dumps dear old dad. She's already lobbying to get out of the house...says what can they do...take away our money? Says she'll invite everyone to her hotel room except Dick...hmmmm. Signs of things to come methinks. The "live feed" was a totally different BB v.s. the edited network program.
Even now, after winning, Daniele can't be gracious. They're trash-talking EVERYONE. Dick tried to give Zach credit for the first win, but no, Daniele says, "sorry, but he had no choice." She's bragging that everything was her idea, etc. UGH.

Meliss: Kind of hard for me to watch the ShoToo feeds since I'm in Canada and we don't have Showtime up here. I can only judge by what they show me on CBS and what htey showed me was that Danielle was encouraging her father to needle Zach in the hope of distracting him and possibly making him fail.
As far as Dick's whole strategy, it seems geared to getting Danielle as far as he can. All of his insults have been an attempt to get the bulls-eye onto his back, to make him the hated houseguest so that Danielle survives longer. And it has worked. I have no doubt that he knows he won't win the jury vote and I also have no doubt that he doesn't care. From the beginning he's thought "team" rather than "me."
OMG.. I was nail biting the whole show!I am EXTREMELY Proud of Dick. I think hands down between the duo, he should get the 1/2 mill. Dani played good in the games but Dick was the one that played "THE GAME". Plus is tactic HONESTY..he just told you how he felt up front instead of being a backstabber.
And yes he was correct noone could do what they did..BB History was made lastnite. Not even Boogie & Will could get to the final 2.
I almost cried when Dani told her Dad she loved him. If anything this brought them back together, hopefully for good this time.

Daniele didn't rub as many people the wrong way, and won a ton of comps, but....
Dick ran the whole game, from beginning to end, except for the week when America had to save his ass. Every eviction has his name on it in one way or another.
I feel that Dick won the game. He couldn't have done it without Daniele there to win comps, but let's not forget that she did everything that he wanted, not the other way around.
I will be interested to see which way the jury goes.
im sorry but you guys are wrong about d and d....dani acts like a child cuz she is....she just turned 21...come on now....first of all we dont know the whole story of what happened to her and her dad years ago....dani is a typical 21 year old...no different from anyone else...i raised 3 boys who are now in their 20 and 30 and i have seen young girls come in and out of my house through the years and they are all the same....d and d are the most deserving hgs to be in the final 2 and i wish them all the luck in the world and pray that this experience brings them closer which from the looks of it it already has...and that is worth a million dollars...

I for one would like to have seen AP win (Eric) but hey, he got booted out, so now its between the dirty old man, and his bratty daughter, who by the way, will drop him like a bad habit...If I did care who won,(haha) , it would be the dirty old man who at least cares about Dani...
