Once again, the house was on the quiet side today. They know it's a live show, so Jameka's primping.The big news of the day is that they all have to pack, not just Jameka. Of course, the grassy knoll theorists are out and about. I don't have any insider information, but it seems to me that because it's a live show with a live POV meeting, everyone but Zach (who can't go on the block because he's HOH) would have to pack. While we know Daniele will save herself or Dick, because it will happen live, they have to be prepared. Technically, it's possible that Daniele, Dick, or Jameka could be evicted tonight although we're sure it's going to Jameka.
I guess we'll know in a few hours, eh? As usual, I'll be live-blogging the show as it airs here in the NYC area (starting at 9 PM ET). Everyone's invited!
UPDATE at 7:25 PM ET -- The feeds had been blocked, came on while Jameka was packing and Zach supervising her. Dick did his intimidation bit on Zach, although Zach wasn't too intimidated. This is what Dick had planned for the veto meeting, but can't do on the live show. He got out his insults, remarks about Zach sucking up to Jameka for the vote, etc. He's in full force. I wish he'd use a different tactic -- this is OLD.
Then Dick told Jameka if there was anything he could do for her, just ask.
Then he lit into Zach again.

Hi Jackie, Your post about everyone packing reminded me of a past BB. Everyone packed because one room was closed and then a comp was held there. Didn't it involve paint or something messy? This has absolutely nothing to do with anything...just sprung into my mind. I don't know what season it was. Sue
Zack screwed it all up on that one wrong move. Booo!

the comp after the live show will probably be better than the live show itself.
There have been numerous comments this season about how lame CBS' use of AP has been. How about this twist for BB9? Next year, EACH and EVERY player is secretly told by CBS that they are the designated AP. Then, whoever wins HOH can be directed to put on the block the top two vote getters and EACH HG will be directed to vote for whatever America wants. That way America can truly control the game.
No more stupid tasks like vandalizing someone's personal items, etc.
Just some random thoughts....
Is this the last show? If so, perhaps they are going to pull a "Survivor" and take three to the finals. Now that would be a twist.

I totally agree that ED's rants and raves as a strategy to throw someone off before a competition is getting really old. Really, really old! Interesting to me that Danielle was telling him to stop and calm down - Looking for Jury votes? Zach doesn't seem affected by Dicks attacks, maybe this time it will backfire and Dick will be so worked up he won't be "on his game" for the competition tonight. What will CBS do if Dick starts in with his "Zach is a racist" comments on the live show?

I realize this is highly unlikely but just suppose...Dick & Danielle are on the block, Danielle uses Veto on herself now it's Dick and Jameka. BB assigns Dick a penalty vote for the attempt to "cheat" by making prior arrangements to receive a coded message, Danielle votes for Jameka and Zach would have to break the tie! Now that would be fun to watch tonight! Of course BB would have to tell the hg in advance about Dick's penalty vote so we wouldn't get a Dustin face but still there would definitely be some fireworks in that goodbye.

Delee - I didn't do anything, but it's possible you did. If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse, hold down CTRL on your keyboard and use the scroll wheel to adjust the size.
delee--I'm not having a size difference in the comments--I'm still not having to put on my "cheater glasses" to read them!! LOL
Will the live feeds come back on during the HOH comp. or do we have to wait until it over??
It seems like a long time from Sat.(POV comp.) until now. I can just imagine how long it's been for Jam.! It must be like when I sent my daughter off to college---excitement for her and dredge and sadness for me!!
Let's get this show over with....I'm excited to get to know the new Survivors!!!

Dick has had such a foul mouth all season, calling the girls every feasible name. I wonder what he would do if Zach started calling Dani all those names (I don't think Zach is the type to do it) but Dick would probably throw a couple of punches. Then be DQ'ed. Well I can dream can't I?
lesa--if I remember correctly the problem with D/D was the way Dick handled trying to get Dani to pay him back(phone messages,etc.) Given the way we have seen him treat the people in the house I can only imagine...maybe that's way it's funny to Dani when he goes off on someone. But I believe that if he wins he will share it with her somehow(since HG are not suppose to share with each other). If she wins it will be gone within a year and she will still not pay him back!
BTW Jackie--how do you read through ALL the comments and respond?? The last few days have been overwhelming for me!!!

A tidbit of minor interest: I recently went to a work conference and ran into an old friend. She is very good friends with Zack's parents, and her daughter actually went out with him in H.S. (he was a little bit of a dork then, too) She said he was told to make plans to be away and went to California without any commitment that he would be in the house. Apparently they have all candidates make the arrangements before telling them they are a "go". In reference to an earlier post, I can't imagine a professional 40+ having that kind of flexibility.

9/18. We will see the beginnin of Part 1 on HOH tonight. On Thurs. we will see the conclusion of Pt. 1 and Part 2. On Sun will be the Pt. 3. The new HOH
will pick who will be in the F2. Tues. the finale.
