The nominations aren't in yet, but they may as well be. Zach is intent on putting Dick and Daniele on the block. He wants Jameka or himself to win POV so the noms remain the same. Then it's bye-bye Daniele, and hello to a final three of Dick, Jameka, and Zach. That's his plan, anyway.Here are today's events from inside that Big Brother House of Lonesome Losers:
- Jameka and Daniele talked long into the dawn, but I doubt Jameka thinks of Daniele as a friend in the game.
- Dick asked/told Zach not to put both him and Daniele on the block. Zach told him it wouldn't matter. Dick said it would because of the POV.
- Daniele asked Zach if he was going to put her and her dad on the block because one would probably go home. Zach told her it's a possibility.
- Daniele told Zach that if he was in the final two with Jameka, he wouldn't win. (Since he's gone over that a good 20 times with Jameka since last night, he knows it.)
- Daniele got mad at Zach and told Dick she hates him (Zach).
- Daniele fussed once again about losing the HOH comp.
- Daniele then fussed to Jameka about Zach. (Mmm, mmm? Mmm. <-- Jameka canned response.)
- Dick once again talked to Zach. Zach doesn't seem to be wavering at all. He didn't tell Dick for sure that he was going on the block with Daniele, but he promised nothing.
- Zach told Jameka that his biggest gamble in the game was not taking Eric off the block yesterday with the POV. He could have sent Daniele home then.
- Zach gave Jameka a big speech about how he isn't as he appears, she will be surprised, etc. That's causing the Internet to go wild with rumors. Me? I think that because he's been called Shrek and an ogre and folks have implied that he's not so bright -- he wants to prove he had a game plan all along. That's my opinion, anyway. He's a business owner (DolphinCrash) and he is smart, has studied the game.
- Jameka and Zach went over past comps through the seasons.
- Although Dick didn't get the room, he got his HOH basket today -- snacks, chocolate syrup, cigarettes (although the short ones, not the 100s). He also got a letter from his son Vincent who is now a feeds addict. Dick thinks there's code in the letter. But, sheesh, Dick ... take it from someone who's done online BB stuff since season one ... when Vincent says he's a suckster, that isn't code. It means he's hanging out on the BB section of the survivorsucks site. @@
- Right now the nominations ceremony must be going down. When I hear, you'll hear. But I think we could bet our bippies that it will be a Double Donato nomination.

OHMIGOSH Jackie.....I leave tomorrow to go to Texas, and I am freaking I wont know what happens while I am gone until tuesday...I can only hope I can use a computer somewhere!
this is the best its been! Although I am pretty much a D&D fan, Zach impresses me with his reserve. I like Jameka as a person and I would love for her to be my neighbor,coworker,etc, but I dont think she has had much of a chance at "game" choosing that can't compete for HOH was a bummer..but in ways it kept her here.

Love you Jackie...always find your commentary so fair and balanced...and I don't mean like Fox News which is anything but. You really are...maybe a psychology major in college? You seem to have good insights. Also like that you are not meanspirited yet totally funny. Keep up the good work.
I know a lot of people are getting all over Zack for not using the veto last night and getting rid of Dani and keeping Eric. Myself included. At a little thought though, I've reached the conclusion that it doesn't matter that Z kept Dani. If he had kept Eric, Eric would be gunning for him. By the way Eric has acted in the past, he would have kept Jam over Z. Just like Dick would have kept Dani over Z.
In fact, everyone in that house would keep someone else over Z.
Z is playing this game all alone. It's got to be difficult with no allies, no alliances, no one he can count on. He only has himself to rely on and maybe he's not doing the best job at it but at least he's still standing. Plus even when things don't go his way, he doesn't whine about it. And by the way, just how many comps does this make that Z has won now. 2 or 3? He's not a floater. He's a lone wolf.
I understand that D + D thought for a time that they had this game in the bag and were disappointed when they discovered that it ain't over yet but give me a break. Everyone who went into that house went in there to win. Everyone has a family. Everyone needs the money. Not just D + D. Just because they want it too doesn't mean that they're entitled to it.

Will we know tonight Jackie who wins POV. That truly is the "end game." I love that Dick is trying to pressure Zach to keeping their alliance when just last night Zach was able to see D&D turn on Eric and Jessica without a care in the world..."don't take it personally...it's just a game." As they sneak off to the kitchen and don't even face Jess. Hope Zach holds firm and puts up D&D. I do wish he had kept Eric last night and backdoored Dani. Guess he was afraid of Dick's ranting.
Totally agree with Kay...like Lone Wolf better then ogre. He's just a guy no one wanted to ally with and I also think that his losing over 60 lbs. just recently probably means he had been pretty much of a loner outside the house. But he applied for and got accepted to the show...maybe he's just been playing his "lone" game all alone and we just haven't gotten it. At any rate, I hope he can pull off a win. Go Zach.
Wishful Thinking - Alas, I don't think I'll be reviewing MIT -- I started out watching it last season and didn't keep up on it. I think there's a writer on tvsquad.com who does it weekly, though.

Anon @ &:30 - Thanks, I was an English major but I have admit a personal interest in psychology -- I took several courses, but not enough to qualify as a minor. I ended up being an office manager/HR/accounting. When I grow up I plan to write the Great American Novel ... or work with big cats ... or maybe a waitress at Hooters! ;-)

Can we get some poll votes on the official BB web site for Lone Wolf Zach...please...so Dick and Dani don't think all of America liked them best..their fans must vote more...at any rate, can we help raise poor Zach approval rating which are pretty much in the toilet.
If I hear the words "I vote to evict Daniele" next week it will be the highlight of the season for me!
I would love to see Dick and Zach in the final 2 but if by some miracle Jameka sneaks into the final 2 I can live with it.
Here's my thoughts on the Lone Wolf's weight loss. Yes, he may have a different image of himself and is taking time to adjust to the new look. But from his profile and his MySpace, etc, he sounds like he was a fairly active guy, not living in some dark, reclusive hobbit-hole because of his weight. He does seem to have issues connecting with people, but so did Jen, and so do a lot of people, and it's not always, or even usually, related to weight issues. And I like to call him Shrek affectionately, not as an insult. I like Shrek!
Jackie....how about being a lion tamer who writes the GAN about working the late shift at Hooters!
Now,if all the wait staff at Hooters are as personable as Daniele,that place would be in serious trouble,eh? But she's probably her fake nice girl there,just to get the big tips!!
I am still liking Zach for F2,but wish he would quit selling himself short by saying he'd settle for second(low self esteem issues...former fatty). No way should he just fold and slink away and give in to dick or Jameka. I think he could win against Dani.I also don't think they meant the "ogre" label in a "nice" way,not knowing the people who bestowed the name.And yes,he probably should have gotten rid of Dani instead of Eric,but I am soooooo glad Eric is gone. SO glad!!

I never got the impression that D/D thought they were entitled to the money. The entitlement to the money was a phrase by Amber and Jam.
If there ever was a time that Jameka needed to step up and win something, its this veto. I hope she's praying to God, Mary and Joseph for this one. I might have to send up a couple myself, because Daniele simply must GO!

will tell the HG about the AP. Although I still think if Eric and Jess are together in SH he will be whispering alot of info to her!

what is the definition of a floater?? Someone who doesn't win comps..someone who has no alliances...
maybe they don't appear to be playing "the game"...??

In my opinion this POV is the most important one and even more important than HOH. If both D & D are on the block and one of them wins it, then Zach has to put up Jameka and the only person that can vote is the POV winner. So if it's either D or D that win the POV, both of them will stay in the game and Jameka will go home.
Zach better watch out or Daniele just might stop speaking to him. The girl is nothing if not consistent.
I really hope Jameka and Zach pull it off, but it has done my heart good today to finally hear that Zach had a plan all along and was just stringing the Ds along. Every year, I hope that will happen. And every year I am dissappointed. At the end of last summer's All Stars I was just sure Ericka would dump Boogie and go with Janelle. And she didn't. So I am too experienced to hope, but just hearing Zach say the words was music to my ears. They all are student's of the game of BB enough to know that 3rd from winning is the bottom of the barrel.
Daniele mentioned how much fun it will be to watch the season on tape, after getting out of the house. I'm not so sure she will enjoy it. I hope someone is copying some boards for her. Eric's brother said he was 'on a board'....what do you think Jackie, is he one of yours? Sue

I'm glad to hear that Dick got his basket of goodies, after all. He won HOH fair and square and he deserves them.
If Dani is the target and things work out the way Zach wants them to, I'd much rather see Dani go than Dick. But, I'd bet that Jameka would be the next one out the door. Neither Dick or Zach want to be up against her in the F2 simply because she has friends on the jury. It would most definitely NOT be becsuse of her gameplay. She hasn't really had any.
Until this week, I didn't think Zach was anything other than a floater either. But, have to admit, he's surprising me a bit. If it does comes down to Dick and Zach in the F2, I really believe it will be a tossup as to who wins the prize. Dick, who's played a good game, most of the game, or Zach whom is just now starting to play the game. Fowl Dick or Creepy Zach? Who knows? I'm rooting for Dick still, and will to the very end.

I remember a couple of years ago when the Braves and Yanks were in the World Series. The Braves won 3 games in a row. Then the Yanks came back and beat 4 in a row. By your logic, the Braves really deserved to win because they won the first three even though the Yanks were clearly a better team. To quote Yogi: It ain't over til it's over and it ain't over.
What exactly has Dani done to deserve to win. She won HOH twice. Zach has also won it twice. She won a couple of Vetos. Zach has won a veto.
She had daddy dearest keeping her off the block. Dick is clearly the only reason why she is there. IF either one of them deserves to win, it's Dick. Zach has had nobody the whole game and is still there. No allies. No one would even talk to him for the longest time until Dick needed him to keep his ass in that house. He doesn't whine around and doesn't think that he deserves anything. He's winning when it counts. Maybe Dick and Dani should try that approach instead of acting like a couple of spoiled two year olds who pitch a tantrum when they don't get their way.

I don't think anybody "deserves" to win. This is a game and all the players have made good moves and bad moves. Some made better or worse moves than others. The only one who "deserves" to win is the one who goes home with a $500,000 check!

I've never been a big fan of D&D. Not because of their game......I think they've been two of the most strategic players we've seen so far. But because of the WAY they've they've played their game. I know that lying, cheating and deceiving are all part of the game, but they can lie, cheat and deceive without being bratty, mean and abusive.
Zack may have been way out there at times with some of his comments, but looking back he was nothing compared to others! He was just weird, not mean.....and what's wrong with a little weirdness, anyway??? Some of us take pride in ours! :) LOL
Now I can hardly wait to see Dani go out the door, and have daddy dearest follow closely behind.

Man, Zach talks about how he could have saved Eric the other day and gotten rid of Danielle then. Why didn't he? She is such a whiny brat. When Eric was leaving she kept repeating 'it's only a game'; yet now that she is on the block and not in power, she's moping around, not wearing her mic and being a baby about DR sessions. Wah, wah, wah. I hope she cries when she's evicted Tuesday!
