It's basically a house of silence, at least for a good portion of the day. I'll get into the skinny, but a few things first:Please, please, please ... stop casting aspersions on others in the comments area for whomever they like or dislike in the game. We watch the show for entertainment. Just because a person is cheering on Dick for the win doesn't mean they necessarily agree with or condone his behavior. Just because someone cheers on Zach doesn't mean the person is someone to be attacked.
Dick, Daniele, and Zach are not responsible for the ills of the world, nor for fixing them. We're seeing them in odd circumstance and, while we might think we know them, it's not as if we really do. We watch them with our years of personal experiences, biases, and more in the mix. As often is the case, when you don't like someone, you notice the bad. When you do like them, it's more the good that you see.
In the end, none of them will have any impact on us in our lives. What's more possible is that the friends made online might actually meet up in "real life." It's fine to have different favorites, but please treat others with respect.

Here are the day's events from inside that Big Brother House of Shiver Me Timbers and Let Me Off This Carrot-Stump:
- They all slept in, got up, went back to sleep, etc. Dick was in horrible shape this morning -- he was tossing and turning in his bed saying "ow-ow-ow."
- It didn't help matters that the morning was spent in indoor lockdown with noise going on from workers. Dick couldn't smoke, nor could he really sleep.
- Dick and Daniele speculated a lot about the upcoming part two of the HOH -- they will be pitted against each other and the winner will take on Zach in the third part.
- The Donatos think they've "already won" and are confident.
- But, not really. Daniele is getting her antsy pre-comp worries on and Dick is pacing when he's up and about, getting grouchier by the moment.
- Dick is on a rant about the blue ball in Jameka's tube during the Niagara Balls comp. I'm not sure if he just thinks the comp should have been redone or if he thinks Zach had something to do with it. He's complaining that they didn't investigate it sooner with all the cameras and such. He believes that Zach shouldn't have won that POV.
- Zach worked out on the treadmill and occasionally tried brief conversations with the Donatos to no avail.
- Zach is a man alone studying his fingers and his lucky seashell a lot.
- Daniele actually asked Zach what he was doing at one point to get a "whatever" answer. I think he's decided to block them out as they blocked him out.
- Not much going on. They still don't know when the second part of the comp will be held, nor can they figure out the TV scheduling of events.

Doesn't the jury decide the winner among the final 2? I thought Zach was the 1st finalist and whoever wins between D & D is the 2nd. Or do I have BB confused with Survivor?

You are just a bit confused. There are 3 parts to this HOH comp, Zach won part 1, D&D go against each other in part 2, winner from part 2 goes against Zach in part 3 to decide HOH.
suich, round 2 is the d's and that person goes head to head wuith Zach in round 3. The person that wins in round 3 is the LAST HOH and gets to pick who he or she is taking to the final 2. Then the jury votes on those 2.
Ok Jackie, for you I'll 'curb' my extreem dislike for the Donatos. I'll just try to remember, "you reap what you sow", and in theit case I usually don't wish others ill, but in their case I'll make a exception.
I just read your comments about being nice and giving everyone the same chance to say what they want about the houseguest of choice. I agree. Totally and am so glad you mentioned it Jackie.
I want Dick to win because he really played and made the show worth watching. I frankly cannot imagine the show without him. He played like the Evil Dr. He talked to camera's and always kept busy bothering someone....but....it is a game and fun to watch.
Now on the Survivor! :o) Like you said....before long we will forget who was even on the show!
Dick just gave us way too much information about his sister, What a funked up family! I hope they stay in Cali where their 'lifestyle' seems to be more acceptable.

I like all three of the HGs but I like Jackie more LOL! Good luck to them all. While they will never affect my life in a real way, like the last 2 seasons I doubt I will forget the ones I enjoyed watching for a long time to come. Thanks for the updates as always Jackie.
Regarding parts 2 and 3 of the final HOH comp, I read on another blog (not mentioning which one) that part 2 will be tomorrow afternoon at around 3PM BB time with the final part 3 being played out tomorrow night on the live show. I assume that the feeds will be blocked all day tomorrow. The only reason I would want to see them is to see who won part 2 otherwise I have no interest in watching any feeds. It's just so bad when 2 of the finalists don't talk to the 3rd one. In past seasons, all 3 finalists made an effort to be friendly toward each other in case they ended up spending the last 5 days in the house together. If either Dani or
Dick end up in the final 2 with Zach, we might as well just cancel the feeds on Friday. I doubt there will be any friendly banter between them in the end. Just my opinion.

Dick is probably the only member of this cast I'll remember, and that's exactly what he wants infamous or notorious. I guess my name means more to me then 15 minutes of fame, but then again that's just me.

I don't think that can be correct. 3:00 BB time is 6:00 eastern. They would only have less than 2 hours (assuming they were actually ON TIME) to edit the video for the broadcast.
They could do the 3rd part live, but I would think part 2 would have to be tonight or early tomorrow.

I mostly agree. I really don't know how much is playing, how much real, how much strategy, how much personality. No one outside the house really does. Everyone has a theory, but that's just it. Big difference between watching a guy holding a hand grenade for a couple of hours every day, whole different story to live with the grenade. I think the cumulative effect of Dick's tirades might have been greater than he gets credit for.
I also think Dick stopped playing that card after D/D joined E/J. The only real tirades I remember after that was the Zack one last week and the Jen one with the cigarettes. There was also a little Amber rant I recall right before she went home.
He's still a naked id, but I'm not sure he was the complete rage-a-holic down the stretch that people want to remember him as.
Just a quick ? Is the president address the us at 8:00 tomarrow night? I now it is sometime tomarrow but not sure when. If anyone knows for sure could you let me know. and sorry if this was already addressed.

Anon 10:12 - I couldn't find any changes on listings (released before the announcement), but in a Google news search I finally came up with a blurb from KTLA which stated a time -- 6 PM PT, so it would be starting at 9 here right after BB ends.

I can't imagine any of the HG voting for Zach to win in the end even if he makes the F2. None of the HG in the Jury House liked Dick, Danielle or Zach during the game. So, the only deciding factor for them will have to be game play and my guess is one of the Donatos will win that vote. Does Eric have to cast the final vote as Americas choice?
Does anyone know if BB is going to reveal that Eric was America's Player on the final show or before -now that he's in the Jury House?
Okay, who's hoping that after he gets out of that house, Dick goes onto Tim Gunn's Guide to Style Program. Talk about a laugh riot.

My only comment is to joe in ny. You kept me entertained at work today so many times (reading the blogs). We all have our favs and my fav rubs everyone the wrong way (care to guess who?). LOL!
I loved the Freud reference about a little bit of Dick in everyone, and it was funny when things were said, and I would point out that - See you do have a 'little bit of you know who' in you.
I read two blogs mainly and this is the best by far. Thanks for making sense in this season of haters on both sides. It is a blessing. There Amber and Jameka, I said it. :)
Now onto my thoughts. I love this final 3. I said earlier, when they appeared to be heading to the final three, that I would not care who won of the three. I like, make that LOVE, all three of them in this game and in this season. Zach was an outcast and people talked (yes on these boards even) about how strange he was and how he creeped them out. I remember thinking and saying on another board, that I didn't see it. I actually liked him.
I've been an Evel Dick from day one in the house and still am. Dani got Dick further in the game, Dick got Dani further in the game, and Zach has benefitted from both of them as well as they have from him. In my mind, its the perfect final 3 (FINALLY)!
May the best man/woman win. I'm hoping it will be Evel Dick but if not, I will not have sour grapes taste in my mouth.
This season just surpassed my other favorite (S6) as the best season of BB. And that is JMO, folks.

I lived in Santa Monica for a few years in the early 70's. I absolutely loved the place. What is not to love about beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, beautiful people and all my great memories of the beach and the pier. Unfortunately, I had to come back East for personal reasons but I still daydream about living back there. I probably couldn't afford to go back now but I still wish I could.
What's wrong with California? I'll tell you exactly what's wrong with California. The weather. It's the same every day 74 degrees and sunny. God, how do you stand it out there?
Today we had our first glimpse of Autumn. How could you live without Autumn? Autumn is the best time of year. We have the most beautiful trees that are a million shades of orange and red and yellow interspersed with pine trees. You can go up to Rock City on the mountain and see just all of these amazing colors spread out before you like a quilt. The best part is that whenever sunlight hits the leaves they change color slightly become more vibrant. Sometimes in late autumn when the sun goes down, it infuses everything with golden light and the whole place seems to glow. And the smell of burning leaves and that little cold snap in the air. That's what's wrong with California. If it weren't for that you would have it perfect.

Dick should not throw the comp. From what I've heard, it's a timed comp and if they don't get it in time, the car goes to Zach. It would be stupid for Dick to stand back and let Dani try for it because if he tried too it would double their chances of actually winning it.

Anyhoo-- I can handle Dick's screaming and yelling, but I am absolutely Sick and Tired of Daniele's whining when she doesn't win. What a sore loser.
If it's true that they only had so long to finish or the car would of gone Zach, that was smart of BB-- imagine that.
I don't know about Dani. She seemed genuinely concerned about him during the comp last night. And afterward, she made both him and Z soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. I don't think she did that to just win points either. I think she did it because she's a human being and after watching them go through that, she briefly showed the kind of person she could be and one day might be. I don't like her either and I hate the voice, absolutely hate the voice, but she might change when she gets older. I think this show will help her a lot. I think it'll help her grow up.
Besides, you ED is gonna give her that car.

Dani makes me want to scream! Well, if Dick wins part three, he'll still choose her over Zach, of course, and should Dick win, he will have control of the bigger chunk of money. Dani will go through 50 thou pretty quickly and then, she'll LOVE Daddy again. I hope Dick wakes up and realizes he has to wait for her to mature a few more years before there's any hope of a real reconciliation.

I think with this game that Dick will be a better man out of it. IMO he truly is trying to be a better father. I think he knows what he has done in the past but don't think its all his fault. He has a very ungratefull child.oops I said that before.
